Watch not working

I purchased Tommy HIlfiger watch on 19/06/2010
bearing model no - TH - 1780825/D from World of Titan, Bank More, Dhanbad vide dealer seal no - 1482 to the price of 6495/-. But the Watch was found defective on 20/06/2010. Accordingly I visited the shop and battery was changed. But the watch again stopped working on !st July. I again called the shop but the response was not good. I feel cheated by the shopkeeer nd the company.

i have purchased a Tommy hilfiger watch worth rupees 5000+ from lifestyle Inorbit Mumbai on 30/01/20010 and suddenly on 18/04/20010 i noticed that it had stopped. i haven't dropped or damge the watch since i brought it and had worn it for everyday. i went to lifestyle to complain about the same and they told me that it's not their job to repair it so i have to got to titan showroom at Borivali for the same. On the very same day i went to Borivali Tiatan srvice centre to enquire about the same. He didi something and it started though he told me that if it stops working again then they need to send it to other work shop. i ma really pissed off as watch is just 2 montrh old and i have to waste my time and money to get it repaired. How can one expect such a big brand to sell such a cheap product. would need help for the same .

I have been quite fond of your clothes and accessories since I remember shopping. But, recently I was quite disappointed with the attitude I faced at one of your store.

Faulty Watches - Tommy Hilfiger
I am unfortunate customer who trusted on brand Tommy , it all goes like this that my wife gifted me a watch as my anniversary present model # 1710175 bought from National Watch Company sector 17 Chandigarh , but there was some problem in the strap (bended and cracked) & we returned the watch the same day & was promised a replacement within a week, trusting on world's one of the biggest brands , even after 2 Months the replacement never happened, though regular follow -ups and phone calls were done.Then I was told by your representative Mr Mohinder in Chandigarh that the same model will take some time to come may be 15 days or can be 6 months . I was given an offer that there is some End of Seasons offer available & we can select some other model of our choice, against her choice (Since we were left with limited choice) love & affection we both zeroed on model #[protected]Automatic ) & paid the balance amount (Rs. 2500) , the day we bought it was Friday evening , we both were very happy that atleast we managed to get the watch though not the one that she liked but anyways....So i was ready on Monday with new Tommy watch on my wrist to go to office , attended couple of reviews & really got nice complements for the watch & immediately called my wife that our pick is not bad it's really getting admired by my colleagues.
It was about noon i was preparing myself for lunch & checked the time , i was astonished to see that my watch is not working , it stopped at 1320 hrs , I immediately called up the the owner of your authorised dealer, National watch House, Sector 17, he asked me to come to the shop , i rushed to the shop & he broke the seal without my permission & after 10 minutes of engineering in it , he handed over the watch to me & said that it is working , the watch started making noise on shake and accordingly I refused to take the watch , I demanded the replacement as only after couple of hours wearing it, the same stopped working & the seal was broken, the dealer told me that he does not have the another one in stock but will manage to get it from Delhi & will be delivered in 3 days but it is almost 15 days now the watch has not come , he has stopped answering my phone calls ..
I am really unable to understand that brand like Tommy has such behaviour towards your customers and that too when u know yours is a premium brand and obviously your customers would be high value clients.
Its really an harrasment of highest degree, which I have gone through since last 3 months, where everyday one or the other promise is made to me by your dealer and your manager here, but neither of them has been kept. I am writing to you for a reason, one, to inform you about the state of affairs at the ground level and the way your customers are treated, second, hopefully with your intervention I get my watch for which I paid 3 month back..
I have copies of all bills and repair slips, would be forced to move to consumer court for replacement and damages for harrasment gone through all these days if I doesnt get proper.. 31st oct was the time she bought the watch for me.. and now its 15th feb.. I still dont hve it.. though having spent 8 k on it. Cant take this any more.. Regards, Rishi Gumber, [protected]

Hey I would like to Thanks Tommy Hilfiger.. My faulty watch has been replaced. I have got another automatic watch now and thankfully its working absolutely fine. I would like to mention the team at tommy was courteous and they helped me and replace my watch.

the shirt,s cloth was old,it got torn without any reason,infact i showed them u can tear it from everywhere.
i bought a shirt and many otherthings also from this branded showroom in khanmarket, delhi.this shirt belonged to my son, who went to goa on 26dec2008 with this new shirt, after 6 days he came and told me that when he was wearing this shirt it got torn, i was also shocked, we always bought things from abroad., the same brand.they were very good.firstly they said that i am lying, when i asked them to check the cloth it was weak, u could tear it from every where.Then then the man unwillingly said i could change the thing as if he was obliging me, .THIS was not the end .Another person came and again started blaming me that that that shirt was drycleaned by a bad chemical or bleached .i know the shirt was not given to any drycleaner, it was torn on the first day when he was trying to wear it.The man was trying to bully me.ANY how they unwillingly changed it, but i must convey this message to everyone that no one should buy clothes from this shop or this brnd if they behave like this.

Store Policies
I purchased a Christmas gift for my grandaughter. Tried to return on Dec 27th as they did not fit. Store would not process returns nor refunds until the 28th, even though they had lots of staff standing around & very few customers. On the 28th, I again visited the store to return item. Now told I was outside the 15 day return policy by 1 day but that they would ignore this, however they could not accept return as I didn't have the product tag.
How many people leave the price tag's on a gift??
This necessitated another trip to store & a lost day in travel & cleaning of my granddaughters room to find said tag. This is one grannie, with 4 grandchildren, that won't be visiting their store again. They have lost a lot of future sales, for their policies.

Tommy Hilfiger Showroom Refuses to Refund the Money for a Recentely bought Watch Which does not work
I bought a Tommy Hilfiger watch from Tommy Hilfiger Showroom in Metropolitian Mall (MGF), Gurgaon. I bought the watch for Rs 6749 (At 25% off, Actual MRP is Rs 8995) on 28-July-2008.
My Model No is TH 1790612IDAfter using it for just about 4 months, the watch suddenly stopped working. Since this is a new model which works with your hand movement & pulse & does not require cells, I took it back to the same tommy showroon only to find out that they will send it for repair & i will either get a new watch or the same watch after repair after 15 days.
To my utmost shock, i got a call from tommy showroom asking me to collect the watch since it cannot be repaired. In fact that girl told me that tommy is having problems with all models which works without cell.
When i asked for the refund, I was simply told that i have to buy something else from them only & money will not be refunded.
I bought the watch because that was the only watch i liked from tommy & there is no way that i compromise just because they will not give my money back. This is so god dam absurd. They should not sell such watches if this is the case. I have seen other showrooms as well who are happily selling the same watch.
When i tried to explain the concerned person at tommy showroom that i dont like any other watch & want my money back, She became extremely rude as if i am asking for her money. Its my hard earned money & how can i let it go just like that.
I never expected such 'CHEAP' watch material & disgusting staff from a brand like Tommy Hilfiger, that too when i am paying a hefty amount of Rs 6800 for a watch.
My watch has been handed over back to me by simply saying that either buy something else or buzz off.
I have wasted my hard earned money & loads of time, but of no use. I have now decided to simply file a suit against them, Not only to get my money back but also, to get compensation for wasting my time, my money & above all for all the harrasment by the tommy hilfiger's unprofessional staff.

I completely agree with the comment on the watches, and you know why? Because I actually worked at a Tommy Hilfiger store and witnessed the people come in a mont after their purchase, because their watches didn't work properly. I don't work their anymore, because apparently not lieing to customers about the dependability of the product make you a bad employee. Well then I'm guilty, of being honest and not making people spend money for nothing. You know I got fired for that. Yup, and the worst part is, that of all the things that I did wrong which could have been used against me, my boss lied about it. She invented new things, so now, in their 'dossier' about me, the Tommy Hilfiger company has a bunch of lies. I oculd vent all day about how borderline this company is with their employees sometimes, but it would be useless, because I'm just one person, a number to them in fact, and I'm worthless. Well isn't that fun. Just to tell you although it was with my 60% employee rebate, I bought a pair of 80$ slacks, that after a few weeks, got undone at the seam, the hook fell off and never wanted to stay back on, and that really did shrink when I washed them. Men's polo shirts shrink too, I know, my boyfriend has a few that are now too small. The only good things to buy in that store are the hoodies. yup Tommy hilfiger is the biggest rip off since fancy labels came to be.
Tommy Hilfiger — colour fading
i bought one shirt and one tshirt from toomy hilfiger, kolkata- indiain one two washes the colour faded.
i have given the shirts back to the store. they told me that they will get back to me within a wee but its b almost been a month now. and i have received no feed back yet from the tommy hilfiger store. this is the way to treat customers. its highly unprofessional from their end.
Tommy Hilfiger — Watch Showing Incorrect Time
HI,I bought a Tommy watch on 19th July and a week later it started showing incorrect time. That problem continued and I have given the watch for servicing and I am still waiting for the watch.. It is terrible disppointing. I need some help i paid INR 7600 for the wtach.

Even i got same problem with my tommy watch that i am not getting acessiories like BELT of my tommy watch my watch worth 8999/- is now waste...
Then i bought tommy shoes worth 7999/- with in 24hr they were scrued up ok.. then i bought one tommy denim worth 3999/- the most uncomfortable denim i wearied in my life.
So if any one who read this complain please reply me as soon as possible. tommy hilfiger please don't spoil your goodwill in india ok give good quality goods in india ...

i have similar situation, not only they didn't honer the warranty, they are going to charge me for shipping and handling for returning my broken watch, any body know number for Tommy Hilfiger corporate number, they don't even take any calls on the number they posted on their website

I can completely relate to the story, a similar instance happened with me. i had bought a pair of glasses from Tommy Hilfigure in Saket, for my husband as our first aniversary gift, and asurprise gift, while buying that and selecting the glasses i asked that if it can changed since my husband may or may not like them. I was told infact assured that they will change it. I went home happily after spending 6900 for the glasses.
As per my husband didnt like them much. Since it was december we went for our long vacation and new year and family reunion commitments. We thought that we should visit the store once and see if they have any better style in glasses.
When we entered the showroom, my husband liked one watch pricing around 8125, and they said they cannot change becoz they have no exxchange policy on accessories. I was shocked and surprised that why was i not informed about the same when i was purchasing and moreover i was ready to pay the difference. I had the bill the tag on the glasses, but the salesmen were just trying to pass the buck and refused that they will be thrown of their job, the cant change the invoice. I told him look internationally this never happens, with the customers. When u buy something ofcourse u never buy with a thought of buying and getting it exchanged, we dont have time to waste. After all this he gave me the owner of the franchise store. I spoke to the onwer he said he will try he sounded quite positive but somewhere i knew that he will not do it becoz these franchise store make there own policies and thats why the brand TOMMY HILFIGURE is suffering. He said he will let me know tomorrow evening and then when i called him the nest day he said he said he is positive but will call me in the morning, i kept on waiting, then again i called him he didnt answer my call today and just an hour back i recieved an sms that he cant exchange it, because of their company policy.

Receipt not given for repair
I gave my tommy goggles for repair as the nose pad of the goggles had broken .. But the store in Orion mall, Bangalore charged me ₹.1500 for it and did not even give me a receipt for it.
