Today[protected] i went to to cancel the vodaphone postpaid SIM and surrendered the SIM card at the showroom in VI kottivakkam chennai.

The showroom employees also confirmed the SIM card is disposed.
After 30Mins - I got a call from this VI Customer care number[protected] stating the SIM is still active.

    I lost my job as no one was able to contact me for 24hrs. It was because Vodafone idea services decided to deactivated my SIM without any previous warning( through SMS/call/e mail/whatsapp) whatsoever. It took me 4-5hrs just to realise what caused this. When I approached nearest customer care center they also took time to detect the issue...which it turns out was that my SIM was completely deactivated. As I have no other SIM and no way to contact my workplace/friends and family, no one was able to contact me for nearly 12-13 hrs. I lost my job eventually because of it. I am porting my SIM to Airtel/ JIO first thing tomorrow. The experience with customer care/ e-services of VI is baffling and very poor. I would advice everyone reading this to avoid using Vodafone-Idea as it is the least reliable service provider in india

      Dear Sir/Madam

      This is in regard to my phone no. [protected] (complaint no.[protected] for which I have been charged 1317/- after porting out of the network whereas my plan was of monthly rental 299/- only. When asked for the charges to the customer care they are saying they have charged for prime video subscription without my consent. They themselves have admitted on mail that the prime video subscription was deactivated then also it was charged on my bill. I have been receiving messages for the payment as per MNP regulations else my no. Will be blocked.

      This is my permanent and official number if blocked that will cause damage to my work and personal life as it is registered everywhere.

      When complained to the company they are negotiating to refund 250/- only while they charged 1317/- how is it negotiable when charged wrongfully and I am the one facing the threat of disconnection of the number. This is pure a type of extortion. Besides being a post paid customer I had to port out due to poor service and connectivity issues. Please arrange full reversal and nil outstanding on my bill to avoid disconnection and continue to use my number also Rs. 5000/- compensation for illegally charging on deactivated service and violation of MNP rules.

            With reference to my mobile number [protected], please note that I received SMS from Vodafone stating:

            August 18, 2021, 11:53 A.M.

            Thank you for choosing to access mydelights powered deal, you have been charged Rs. 49. Your balance is Rs. 16.75.

            Please note that I am not even aware what this means and I suddenly saw that my account was deducted Rs 49 without my knowledge or permission. Please note that I have never subscribed to any value added services.

            In connection with this, I raised a complaint with Vodafone operator and spoke to one Mr. Vicky. He was extremely rude and informed me that this service is activated at my end and Vodafone is not responsible for this.

            I am herewith filing complaint with you with a request for refund with immediate effect.

            I look forward to your response.

              I had ported my Vi number to another service and paid my all dues before porting of number. Further, I had receiving calls from customer care executives first from Vi (8-9 calls) and then from executives claiming to the subscriber i had ported to send STOP message to 1900 so that my existing Vi services can be stopped. I had also raised the issue with Vi customer care through email that fake calls are being received from Vi, the matter was not addressed. Now, from last 1 week i am receiving message that I have pending amount of Rs.425 with Vi failing to pay this amount my outgoing services have been barred.
              I request that this kind of arm twisting attitude of companies is not acceptable and my outgoing services may be started.

                Hello Sir/Madam,

                As recomended by VI team, my SIM card (+91 [protected]) was delivered to Bangalore through my friend from Saudi Arabia last week for porting to Airtel. Unfortunately SIM got lost somewhere and wanted to apply for a duplicate or suspend services for at least a year's time.

                My wife, currently staying in Bangalore and my cousins have visited at least 10 times to HSR Layout and Yelenka New town VI store for this purpose. They were treating us like a dog or monkey. Vodafone India (company) is the worst company I ever experienced in my entire life.

                Sir, without even using their SIM/services I have been paying around 1300 INR for the last 3 to 4 months after reach abroad. When call to VI customer care, they dont give a proper responses and told they cannot do anything until I return to India. Sir, I reached KSA just 3 months back (that too via transiting other country with huge travel expenses) and will not be able to go back to India atleast a year time.

                Really fructated for their unethical behaviour and services. I was surprised why they don't support online porting in a pandemic situation, atleast for their Overseas custoners. They are purposefully decieving us due to sake of money. I understand that Vodafone has this crazy rule about discontinuing a postpaid connection (seen many complaince in consumer court).

                Sir, please consider my current situation and help to solve this problem.

                  For incoming calls that been missed or rejected or blocked, Vodafoneidea has been charging them for usage. Inspite of showing them screenshots from my phone call log, clearly showing the numbers, date and time, which were missed or rejected or blocked calls, they keep sending reminders to pay the bill. Appellate officers show scant regards to my multiple emails..

                      Unnecessary deduction of a service I have not subscribed to. This isn’t the first time. I haven’t downloaded any app. I haven’t done anything apart from recharging my mobile on the Vi app. It looks like they were waiting for me to recharge so that they can deduct.

                        This is to inform and raise a complaint against the SILLY STUPID GREEDY agents of vodafoneidea for unnecessarily removing my number from full DND services and why was it so?

                        You SILLY STUPID GREEDY vodafoneidea has no right to give my numbers to any TELEMARKETERS AND GREEDY estate agents of lodha and godrej for UNNECESSARILY CALLING, HARRASSING and DISTURBING the customer. After on purpose removing my numbers from DND again I have registered for full DND but from last even after sending sms to register for full DND service but your SHAMELESS SILLY STUPID GREEDY AGENTS haven't activated the service on my numbers. Just let me know it's already three days and above but still it is not activated whenever called your CHEAP CHEATING and LYING customer from last three days they always tell to wait for 24 hrs. The time will come or not you CHEATING AND SHAMELESS PEOPLE.

                        yes the indian cellular service providing compaines are number 1 cheaters irrespective of their claims of transperent and ethical business service all the companies right from AIRTEL, VODAPHONE IDEA, JIO etc are out rightly cheating subscribers and mercilessely robbing the balance amounts, and there is no small denomination recharge for long term validity every month whether you use or not minimum of 50 to 200 is the validity amount and in this they say out going validity and again we need to go for incoming validity this is pure cheating policy many users dont use this prepaid balance and by end of 28 days the amount gets invalid un useable for next validity again you are forced to recharge with same amounts and again if not used the amount is pocketed by company
                        TRAI is sold out to private cellular companies and closes its eyes blindly ignoring consumers

                        as my prepaid validity was expiring on 30th september
                        i recharged ideavodaphone ( VI) prepaid with 79 rupees on 29th september with validity of 28 days and prepaid balance of rupees 64 is credited as per below message to me but on 1st October there is no balance in my sim and iam getting voice message to recharge with unlimited talktime with more money

                        i have very limited calls average per month and almost every month my balance in prepaid card goes unutilized and to i recharge every 28 days for validity to use my number
                        CUSTOMER care call center ### suggest to recharge with 1000 or more amount to get long validity and these third class semi literate call center employees never help you to recover the robbed money

                        indian government is not at all concerned to help consumers and rather the leaders help the big shots of private celllular company owners

                        killing bsnl which has VERY GOOD plans with less amount and long validity

                        its better consumers should opt to bsnl to give life to teach lesson to all companies like AIRTEL, JIO, VI etc

                          I am Neethu(Mobile Number +91 [protected]), currently residing in Saudi Arabia.I am having VI connection(earlier its IDEA) from India with a connection period of more than 10 years.Since i have used this number for all my official purpose in India .I am manning this account my paying the minimum amount in the form of rent(Rs 49 pack) like all other gulf people used to do. Now a days i came to know that unknowingly my amount is getting detected .By checking i am not opted for any value added service but its showing 'FUN PORTAL' in my list. when i messaged to the customer care service .They said no VAS in this particular connection. Please do the needful to stop the same and refund the amounts which was detected from my account with out my knowledge.

                            I had done recharge of rs 399 on vi sim. I paid my amount through Google pay amount was debited and also shows transaction successful on my transaction history in Google pay but recharge is not done on my phone and plan is not activated. I tried to contact and complain vi about my problem by call wats app and through vi app but no proper response. Please look into my problem and do my rechargeable or refund the money back

                              From last two months i have been charged rs1680 saying that my father called to special number 51717 and talked around 60 mins and more. First of all, with other telecom subscriber 51717 is invalid number by mistake also no one can dial 51717. Talking for 60 mins is not at all possible. My father is a priest in temple. He don't even know how to operate cellphone. He is using keypad mobile. He can't even call someone he know only how to attend call by pressing green button. How can he call to special number 51717 and talk for 1 hour and more. The reason behind the bill is totally irrelevant and impossible. It's a fraud. This seems to be a big scam. I have been charged from last two months. As i saw here other user complaints for the same issue i am definitely sure that it's a big scam.

                                Hi There,
                                I wish to complain about the Idea SIM card number [protected]. which was closed and deactivated before the actual validity expiration.
                                The SIM was supposed to have validity till June 2021 for incoming call, but it was closed and deactivated in the month of April 2021. When we have tried calling customer care and visited to Idea store, they are telling that the year of birth is not matching in the KYC attached with the sim card and it can only activated again if I am going to opt for post-paid connection, with minimum rental of Rs. 600 per month.
                                I have been using this number since more than 10 year and nobody had ever complaint about any kind of document issue or KYC mismatch, My Aadhar card was given as ID and address proof for the sim card, in between, but now they are telling the year of birth is not matching, its clearly indicate that its mistake from their end, they have entered DOB as 01/01/1800 instead of 01/01/1977.
                                Request you to kindly look into this and help me to resolve this issue.

                                  I recharged my mobile with 599 rupees 4 G data plan for 84 days including unlimited calling, but the network provider is failed do provide 4 G speed it's not getting at least 2 G speed, Hence I request please cancel their license if they unable to provide the same, because so many people facing same problem, there is so much hard work behind every rupee earned by poor people in India, but these corporate people like Vodafone idea is cheating common man...
                                  Please rectify the issue at the earliest and arrange to replace additional data to each customer which they have lost.

                                    Vodafone idea set caller tune automatically,
                                    Suddenly I got message that "Hi! We have received & are processing your request for service Callertune Selection. Just sit back & relax, you will receive a confirmation within 2 hours".
                                    They charged me Rs 33/-
                                    This is second time happened for me

                                            Must say your company or employs is doing a fraud here and i am pissed of with this. i have tried reaching out to Customer care for 4 times and spend multiple hours and it is waste of time, all i got is new complaint numbers

                                            VI has deducted 199 rs from by balance on 28th Feb 2021 claiming that i while being in UK picked a call from india at 02:13 PM IST from number +9196079** and duration of call is 24 seconds.

                                            I was sleeping at that time in UK and i checked my phone and can see several missed call from above number but all are missed calls and i have not picked any calls from this number or any numbers, all my calls are missed calls.

                                            I raised with your so called Customer care team 3 times and i got various complaint numbers and even asked for nodal officer details which they denied to share which i see another issue,

                                            I am awaiting full refund from Vodafone Idea else you will be loosing one Customer who has been with you from many many years due to this fruadlent activity.

                                            This is unethtical and i will also report on social media about such practices being played from VI.

                                            And please don't call me on my number to resolve, email me here as i will not be picking your call while on international roaming,

                                              I am getting full signal of 4g but its speed is like slower than 2g.even are unable to hear call proper, there is always a call drop in between. we are same issue from last 2 year but we helpless after lodging sevelar complaints.There are 4 connection of Vodafone Idea in my house, same issue is going on to every one. we are feed up with after lodging compliant with every one phone, but they are least both to solve the issue. They always tell to reconfirgation to internet setting in our mobile. they are not sending there field technical officer on the field where your has been setup your tower to check why the same issue is going on regular interval, I have change Vodafone number from Post to Prepaid due to careless behaviour and poor service even lodge the complaint but there is no complaint number is generating. i have not received any complaint number to track for my compaint from vodafone company. This means that they are cheating with customer by giving false information about Complaint lodge by us.

                                                I ported my airtel number to vodafone and i came into roaming. Now when i call 59059 it aaya that number is incorrect. I have tried customer care multiple times but they don't provide any solution.
                                                I am in trouble as it is my primary number that is used in banking. Please suggest any solution.

                                                I visted vi store in kerala and taminadu . they gave a different sim and that did not resolve the issue.
                                                Karnataka has put travel restrictions for kerala. due to which i cannot go back to my home circle

                                                  I did a recharge on an idea number using myidea app and amazon upi method to make the payment.
                                                  The transaction failed but the amount deducted.
                                                  I communicated with Vodafone Idea customer care team on phone as well as in e-mails. They always ask to wait for more working days.
                                                  It's been more than 25 days to the recharge.

                                                    One of my prepaid connections [protected] which is required to be upgraded as per Vodafone-Idea recommendation from 3G sim to 4G sim, VI services were found to be greatly disappointing with the type of services and information rendered.

                                                    On request of service provider, we visited the outlet in Sector - 7, near Ayodhya Chowk local bus stand, Rohini, Delhi to upgade 3G Sim to 4G sim Dt. 15/02/2021. I am most annoyed that your service providers befool and cheat their customers by giving them misleading and unclear information by adhering unfair and unjust trade practice which is totally unethical from a company having reputation like them.

                                                    On adherence to various messages to upgrade the prepaid 3G sim to 4G for best Vodafone Idea services. The retail outlet ported our prepaid connection to postpaid connection, by keeping us dark and sharing misleading procedure o[censored]pgradation, which is totally unreasonable and sort of looting innocent customer like us who are associated with your company since long with multiple prepaid connections.

                                                    Moreover, once all the processes were done, they asked us to pay Rs. 250/- in the name of activation charges in cash and that is too without receipt or acknowledgement.

                                                    Our matter must be resolved at the top most priority and arrange to revert back our connection to prepaid with immediate effect with refund of Rs 250.00 and imposing certain amount of penalty say Rs10000.00 on above said outlet, otherwise we have no option left rather to surrender all your connection by porting to some other reputed brand and file complaint o[censored]nethical trade practice at right place and forum.

                                                      Rs 20 has deducted for activation vz vicms songs which I didn’t even activated and heard about it.How could vi charge from consumer when vas is blocked.such charges were collected earlier also by vi.Hence take necessary action in this matter.

                                                        Today morning for more than 3 hours I did not have incoming or outgoing service on my mobile.

                                                        I was told by my friends who tried to call me that the call got directed to some other people, one of them a lady who keep complaining that my calls are going to her and she is gong to complain to police.

                                                        This is absolutely unacceptable. Every time I try to port out they give me assurances that things will improve. But things are getting worst.

                                                        The next time I get any hassle with incoming outgoing calls and lack of internet service I will por out. That is a promise

                                                            I would like to bring to your notice, that my idea prepaid sim [protected] got disconnected without any prior intimation .

                                                            After submitting relevant documents ie id proof and passport size photo on 16.01.2020, still my idea sim not reactivated.

                                                            Being physically challenged understand my agony and arrange for reactivation immediately.
