I have bought 3 consumer products with Capital First where my EMI started from[protected]. Subsequently i have given my IDBI account cheques for ECS. i maintained sufficient funds in my IDBI account to make sure that my cheque won't bounce. However i was shocked by looking in to the message from Capital First on 6th April, 2016 stating that "my cheque was bounced due to insufficient funds". i have called to their customer service number[protected] and asked for a proper explanation on my cheque bounce. They gave another shock to me saying that " My ECS was linked to ICICI bank but not IDBI bank". I have clearly explained them that i have linked my ECS with ICICI bank somewhere in early 2015 and that Loan got closed a way back. I have availed a fresh loan in March 2016 and i have given my IDBI Bank cheque for ECS. The Customer service Executive advised me to visit their branch in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad and to meet Ms. Rekha ( as i remember) to solve my problem.

I have made an online payment for that month EMI and visited their branch on 12th April, 2016 which was Tuesday but into vain. I have visited their branch at 12 p.m and waited till 3 p.m in afternoon. They don't have proper team to manage the things in office. Being weekday, i couldn't mange myself to wait further longer.

Today i.e.; 4th May 2016, i visited their branch again with a hope that i will get a solution so that i can be tension free for tomorrow. This time i was fortunate enough and didn't waited for hours. Very soon they called my serial number and i walked towards their customer service representative. I spoke to one of the lady and clearly explained my problem. she retrieved my details in her system and gave me another shock here that my ECS was linked with my ICICI account only and she only confirmed that my account was in- active. I argued with her on 2 things.

1. I have given my IDBI acc for ECS and
2. while My ICICI account was active how can she confirm it is IN active.

Here she showed her true colours. She bluntly raised her hands and exhibited her attitude in front of me. She is one such goofiest rep i haven't see till date. With her full attitude she told me to visit the store where i bought the product and meet their branch Head Mr. Srikanth.

I have been to BAJAJ Electronics, Panjagutta where i bought my product and asked for Mr. Srikanth to one of their rep Mr. Santosh in the branch who processed my application. He showed his concern towards me and verier my details in his system where all by ECS are been linked with IDBI account only. How can be this discrepancy within the same organisation that too a reputated company like Capital First where Mr. Santosh system is showing the correct data and customer service database is wrong???

Here comes my 4th shock. The lady with whom i have spoken to, in their branch is none other than Ms. Rekha who is branch head. My impression towards her is, she is unfit for her job not by her qualification but by her attitude. At last i reached my home with a assurance that my cheque for tomorrow won't get bounced asa per assurance given by Mr. Santosh and Mr. Srikanth.

Note: you never believe how much they charge for a cheque bounce. i was charged for twice within same month as Rs. 800. They bounced my cheque for second time wanted and charged me again.

Dear Customer care team,

i got a mail from you stating that my cheque bounce charges are waived off. i would like to reiterate you that i am least bothered about cheque bounce charges. i am very much concerned on what basis my cheques are getting bounced even though there are sufficient funds in both of my accounts (ICICI & IDBI).

And the account statement which have sent me is nowhere useful to me. i need a letter from you in concrete black & white stating that "Because of few technical issue happened from your side, my cheques got bounced and Capital first will take the solely responsibility in clearing the issue without hampering my cibil because of these cheque bounces." i want these statement to be marked to CIBIL mail id also.

So request you to do the needful at the earliest.
