This is with reference to the 2016 Board Paper conducted on 31st march delhi region in set 2, tgete was a numerical queztion which required understanding of complex commerce ideas. The question wanted us to calculate nva at fc, fow which we had to subtract the depreciation. But tge calculation of depreciation was a very tough concept. This question was very tough for the non - commerce students and even for some commerce students. This question was only given in set two and was unfair for the students
Moreover, the board had left a huge space after the 29th question. The 30th question was written on back page, many students did not see the 30th question...and therefore lost precious 6 marks
I myself made this mistake, i was expecting great marks in the subject but now all my hopes are shattered
I request the board to be lenient in checking

            Sir
I am a class 10 student from Hosur, Tamilnadu . The Mathematics examination held by CBSE on 19 March 2016 was really tough and tricky. The paper was too lengthy so that three hours were hardly enough to complete the exam.Question number 27 in set 1 question paper (houses in a row) was taken from the optional exercise 5.4, page 115 from the chapter Arithmetic Progression. the last line of the exercise states that this particular exercise was not from the exam point of view. Due to this misleading sentence, most of the children did not practice this sum while preparing for the exam. We have lost 4 marks due to this. I request you to grant lenient marks to all children who have attempted this question
Questions 15 and 30 from the same set were out of syllabus. Please grant marks for that questions too.
next time while preparing question paper, please do consult the textbook to avoid such mistakes.

This is with reference to the Insurance exam [Paper code: 310 Set 4] conducted on March 26th, 2016. Some question (e.g Q3, Q18, Q19, Q20, etc) of approximately 12-15 Marks were out of syllabus. There were no proper study material provided to us. The syllabus were changed many a times. There was a change in the syllabus in the month of January 2016 where a new set of notes were handed over to us to refer to. We understand that this was the first year for this subject and hence there were multiple amendments to the syllabus. We request the board to look into this matter and take appropriate action.

This is regarding class xii cbse computer science paper (C++) code no.91/1 set 4. There is a mistake in q-2(C) where it is asked to calculate population density(Popdens) using function caldens() where density is given as popdens/ area. This is logically incorrect and practically impossible as we are not asking the value of popdens from the user. How can density be equal to density/area??

Please bring this to the attention of concerned authorities so that they can take necessary action against this.

                Thank you

The maths paper conducted by cbse on[protected] was extremely difficult from the students point of view particularly set 1. Some questions set from the exercise not meant for examination point of view. What is that the board/papar seters want to test ? This act of board is highly condemenable and demoralising for the students.

                        Dear sir/madam,
This is to inform you that maths paper of class 10 conducted on 19 March 2016 was a quite lengthy as well as tricky paper. It was found that most of the questions were out of the ncert pattern on which most of the students depend. If CBSE is making questions on the basis of other book then please provide the latter. Also the A.P question in section D was mentioned as "not from examination point of view" in ncert which shows that it is not recommended to student to do that question. Studies in CBSE is based on knowledge. So please I would request you to show lineancy and award marks for at least attempting questions.
                        Thank you.

                          Dear Sir
Exam of XII Class CBSE held on 17 March, 2016 regarding 'ACCOUNTANCY' Set 2, Code no 67/2. There is an error in question no 12, which was regarding partnership of Vikas & Vivek.
Later on, in the statement of question, guarantee borne by Vivek & Vikas sequence changed in English version, but in Hindi version sequence of Vikas & vivek is different.
Answer will not match with both versions.
Please bring this to the attention of higher authorities, so that they may take strict action on the subject.

                          Thank you

Question paper wasn't tough, but lengthy so in the end messed up even the easiest ones and left out two-three questions due to shortage of time... definitely losing 15 marks on account of bad scheme of paper.

                              Respected sir/Madam,

I am a differently - abled spastic student of Class 12. As per the provisions, I received extra time and a scribe. While I am extremely grateful for this, I wish to draw your kind attention to the fact that such privileges aren't viable for arithmetical subjects like Accountancy. It seems a lot a lot easier to write down amounts and post them in the appropriate places than to VERBALLY dictate everything to a scribe. It led to a lot of mistakes, loss of time and frustration. But I had NO other choice.Despite my best efforts, I missed questions worth, 25 - 30+marks .This had never happened for theoretical subjects

I am extremely heartbroken as my year - long efforts which have been rendered worthless. My only option now is to request lenient correction. But I do hope that in future, a shorter paper will be developed for students like myself.

                              Regards,
                              A student

Cbse mathematics paper class 10, 2016
This is in reference to the set i mathematics paper of class 10 held today i.E 19/03/16. Three questions were not set according to the cbse and ncert norms. Q27 and q28 were from the optional exercise where it is clearly mentioned as 'not from examination point of view'. Q30 had a part which was out of sa ii syllabus i.E from trigonometric identities. The question setter has consulted the guide/reference books alright but has not cross checked the text book on which the students are based according to cbse norms. The reference book mentions that the questions are from ncert but in the book it says that the questions are not from examination point of view. I have checked it before lodging this complaint. Can this sheer negligence be dealt with immediate effect to save the future of students for whom this school leaving examination has a definite future? How can such injustice be tolerated??? The total marks of these three questions is 12.

                                  (a) Why do you have different codes/sets of Question Paper with varying difficulty level? Set 1 was the toughest in Maths. It downgrades the morality and brings comparison among students.

                                  (b) In Set 1, we hardly find questions from NCERT. I am from Chennai affected in floods for more than 2 months. Do you expect us to do all sums from RD Sharma as well? We had very few days to study for SA2 and we do had 4 more subjects other than Maths.

                                  (c) Please do not consider giving grace marks based on questions from Optional exercise alone, because students might have solved the Optional sums but they might not have got time to complete the RDS Sums. So, give grace marks for the entire paper and not based on question numbers.

                                  (d) All sets were lengthier. Leniency in correction may not be a solution in Maths. GRACE MARKS IRRESPECTIVE OF THE QUESTIONS IS THE ONLY SOLUTION.

This is to bring to your notice the difficulties faced by students while writing 10th math paper. The questions were very tricky . One of the 4 markers that was asked was from the optional exercise. It has been clearly mentioned that optional exercise is not from the exam point of view. The 2 & 3 markers were unusually lengthy and confusing . All these have demoralized us students . I request you to please have some leniency while checking the papers . That could be the least that cbse could do for its students .
                                    Thank you

I am a student of class 10 who appeared for 10 th std CBSE board exam on 19th March 2016 and has been unsuccessful in answering 8"The houses in a row" problem which appears as Question 27 in setA/Question 26 in set B/question 22 in setC.
The above question is taken from optional Exercise 5.4, page 115 from the chapter of 'Arithmetic progressions.' The last line in the exercise states
"These exercises are not from the examination point of view."
Many students have not practised this sum due to this misleading sentence while preparing for the board exam thereby losing 4 precious marks.
i want the CBSE board to give lenient marks to children who have attempted the question.
