Central Board of Secondary Education [CBSE] Complaints & Reviews

I have also posted TC of my children to Ajmer office for counter sign. My children named Anmol Kathail (Class X) and Anamika Kathail (Class V). I shifted from Bhopal to Bangalore. I posted TC by Speed post on 11 June 2011. As per speed post tracking system, the TCs have been delivered to Ajmer office on 14 June 2011. I have also sent self addressed envelop so that they can return the TC easily.

It has been more than one and half month as of today (27 July 2011), but we have not received TC back.
I tried to call the office on phone several times but no one picks up.

Please help.

The TC of my son DHRUV SUTHAR of std, 11th of ADANI DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL MUNDRA of Kutch was sent to Ajmer for countersign on[protected] but till today it is not returned to school back. This is to bring to your notice that the decision of CBSE of conducting AIEEE on 11 only for a few and not for all is totally wrong. How can they take such an unfair decision? The whole career of all students depend on AIEEE exam so how can they judge the ability of all according to two different papers? Moreover, the changed timings of AIEEE exam on 1 may really depressed the students due to which they could not do their best.
Its not acceptable as its not fair...

This is really unfair to us... the exam should be re conducted for everyone...

Totally agree, that the decision of CBSE of conducting AIEEE on 11 n only for few nt for all is totally wrong and unacceptable... hw cn dey do like dis, wen dey known of d fact dat it'll affect d future of d students.. they shud hv reconduct d exam for ol..

yes this is really unfair with us, i.e., the students who have given exam on 1st May, 2011 in such a hot climate with the exhausted mind.
They should give every student an equal opportunity by reconducting the exam on 11th and the notice should be displayed at the earliest regarding this otherwise the students will protest against the decision taken by the cbse.

i agree with all of them this is seriously unfair for poeple who gave the exam on the same day!!! by the time i was about reach my last section i was totally exhausted and was not able to attempt the questions with my level best!!! they should conduct the exam for everyone so everyone gets an chance and equal oppportunity!!

There are various discrepancies by CBSE.

Aieee however mentions these centres where retest would be held.

4. The cities where the rescheduled examination will be conducted are as follows;

Amongst these centres please note that these towns are not AFMC centres namely, Patna Nagpur Ernakulum Hyderabad Panaji.So how can Aieee cancel tests in these centre which could never have been AFMC centres.

Also CBSE states that
{(a) Who could not appear in the AIEEE exam because the
exam centre where they were to appear was an AFMC
exam centre also and centre could not conduct AIEEE
exam
City, Centres and Roll nos of such candidates
will remain the same }

How can this evre be true to the most layman too.
Aieee 2011 starts in the morning and the test is taken in two shifts that lasts till evening.First half is for B.E/B.Tech and the second half is for Planning & B.Arch.
So taking that the AIEEE 2011 AND AFMC 2011 were supposed to be held on the same date, an AIEEE centre could never have been an AFMC centre too.since AIEEE tests would have taken up the whole day.

Then how is CBSE mentioning a retest in section a] (Who could not appear in the AIEEE exam because the exam centre where they were to appear was an AFMC exam centre also and centre could not conduct AIEEE exam)

I think there is some drastically corrupt going on in the inner circles of AIEEE/CBSE and we havw a right to know the names of all the centres, not only towns where they are planning a retest.
Anna Hazare plaese take note.
An RTI should be filed to inquire.
Also the whole AIEEE 2011 should be cancelled and a retest taken for all the students at all the centres.
By giving so many days extra time for preparation gives an edge to an exam the result of which is going to have a lasting effect on studnts future nationwide.How can three different test take out a common result.

As such CBSE should hold a retest for all students at a later date.

dear sir,
I am a student who appeared for the AIEEE'11on may01,as all knows the exam was postponed 3hrs due to leak,I dont know why no one has complained about the quality of this replacement paper,there are many questions printed with mistakes,and now they are going to conduct another exam for some 32,000 students on may11 2011,This is not fair & is unequal,the question pattern is already known. Total marks are already known. Those who will appear on 11 May will have extra 10 days for preparation with the new question pattern.I request the support of all students to conduct a re test for all students applied for AIEEE.
I request for the conduct of the test for all the candidates again, so that principles of natural justice are followed.

cbse should not do this type of differences b/w students.it should be held again for all

This is such a biased decision took by cbse.Those sitting again for aieee exam clearly have an edge who have given this exam before and are not allowed to give again.

cbse must not take retest for all because we have other xams also coming up lyk bits pilani and ip and scra too . And also classes hv to begin frm july so if retest will be taken for all den it will delay the results and classes

CBSE — AIEEE2011

Respected Sir,

This is Akshat Gupta from Raipur marwar, dist: pali, rajasthan.

My sister Anubha Agarwal has appeared for AIEEE 2011 from Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The paper was conducted in a very wrong manner. The students were given the paper at 12 PM. Then due to miss communication between the examination officer and their team they took the paper back and then after some time again distributed the paper. the entire process took arround 20 mins from the paper time. no extra time was alloted to the students in the class room.

I have already made an online request to AIEEE 2011. The email address at which I emailed is given below

but I have not received any response from them and I think I won't get it.

This is not fair at all with any student who has appeared for AIEEE-2011.

Because of thier carelessness why a student is paying for it?? At few centres the paper was not conducted and on their website it is given that paper will be conducted on the coming dates.

It is my sincere request to you please take care of this matter.

There is a court case going on in High Court of Delhi and Supreme Court filed by Prof. AP Sinha retd profess or of NIT Jamshedpur and his lawyer is SK Aggarwal &n Associates with e-mail id skaa.[protected]@gmail.com. If you are not getting justice from CBSE and you feel that IT IS WORTH PURSUING FOR THE SAKE OF JUSTICE THEN you should either file a writ in High Court or you should send your grief in the form of affidavit duly attested by public notary or oath commissioner of the court to Sri Agarwal so that it may also be brought to kind notice of Supreme Court which is likely to be heard on 26.05.2011. Re-exam for all candidates is felt to be taken by CBSE.

i have lost 10th and 12th marksheet

sir, i have lost my CBSE 10th and 12th marksheet. i have passed my 10th in 2009 and 12th in 2011. i don't know the procedure of getting them backs.

AIEEE 2011 exam should be re-conducted to get right selection of students.

CBSE has no right to destroy our future just because they failed to protect the paper from getting leaked! We had to fas the hot weather, hunger, thirst and a lot!! Moreover, the question paper lacked enough space to do required calculations!!I believe those appearing on 8th will be quite away from all that!!


I don't care what do rules say!! All i know is that i could not perform up to the mark i believe i could!! The problem that we faced can throw our ranks back!!
I demand the paper should be rescheduled.

we are totaly agreed with the veiws of our friend this is the limit we suffered the whole day and we have not giventhe proper time toattempt the paper they took it
23 min before the actual time. we are totaly against this and the exam should be

I am 100% disagree with the decision that CBSE has taken-"AIEEE 2011 will be reconducted only for those students who appeaed for AFMC on 1 may 2011". My intension is to inform cbse authorities that exam conducted after 12:00 pm was full o[censored]rregularities. At many centres in Lucknow question booklet of AIEEE-2011 was given to students after 12:20 pm and suddenly at 2:45 pm examinatination centre's authorities told students that only 5 minutes are left and students have to complete their exam till 2:50 pm saying that they (students) will be recalled for the examination again.
How can CBSE prepare merit list of students on the basis of two different questin papers containing questions of different topics ?
So, I request CBSE to reconduct AIEEE 2011 for all students whether they have given the examination after 12 pm or not.Reconduction of the AIEEE-2011 is the need of today and future of students

Most of the students are 100% disagree with the decision that CBSE has taken ‘Only those students who missed their AIEEE-2011 exam on 1 may 2011 due to official reasons and due to AFMC exam, are eligible to appear for their exam(AIEEE-2011) on 11 may 2011.’ The exam should be reconducted on 11 May 2011 for all students whether they had given exam on 1 may 2011 after 12:00 pm or missed the exam.
My intention is to inform CBSE AIEEE authorities about the irregularities taken in AIEEE-2011 held on 1 May 2011. These irregularities and re-conduction of the exam (on 11 may 2011 ) only for few students may proved to be bane for serious students who had given exam of AIEEE-2011 after 12:00 pm.
• One of the irregularity was paper leak.
• Second irregularity was reconduction of AIEEE-2011 exam on the same day after 12:00 pm knowing that AFMC exam was also scheduled on the same date in second meeting.
• Third irregularity was that at many AIEEE-2011 examination centres proper time for exam was not given to the students. At many examination centres question booklet was given to the students after 12:20 pm and suddenly at 2:45 pm examination centre’s authorities told students that only five minutes are left. At 2:50 pm submission of students’ answer sheet begun.
• Fourth irregularity was lack of coordination among examination centres. At some centres exam was started at 12:05 pm, at another centre exam was started at 12:30 pm and at another centre exam was started at 12:55 pm. This is similar to paper leak.
• Surprisingly, the same question paper (Set-2) was distributed in Dubai Test Centre at 9:30 am(IST) and students solved and answered their paper for 1 hour till the exam was postponed. They again at 12:30 (IST), the same question paper and the marked answer sheets were circulated to the the students and they got 3 more hours to complete it. This is also similar to paper leak.
The best solution for these irregularities is to re-conduct the AIEEE-2011 exam on 11 May 2011 for all students, not for only few students. The exam scheduled on 11 May 2011 will have different set of question paper. The next paper may be easy or may be more difficult, but the level of the difficulty can’t be decided by CBSE authorities, it is decided by students’ mental ability. Evaluation and preparation of merit list on the basis of two different papers held on two different dates is completely illogical and unfair. How can you select candidates on the basis of two different exams?
The conclusion of above information is re-conduction of AIEEE-2011 exam for all candidates, so candidate don’t feel cheated. Re-conduction of AIEEE-2011 for all candidates is need of time also need of students’ future and career.

SUBJECT: - RE-EXAMINATION OF THE STUDENTS WHO APPEARED IN THE EXAMINATION
ON MAY 01, 2011

Dear Sir,

My daughter / ward appeared in the above stated examination and I along with her was very much taken aback due to the following reasons: -

1. The centre at Kendriya Vidyalaya, PT Block, Pitampura, Delhi should be scrapped as it is not a comfortable place for anyone to appear in the examination because
• The School authorities there consider that the flock of sheep has come and let them push each other in a dirty way to enter first.
• The girls and boys were forced to enter from a small gate whereas there was a big gate, which remained closed due to the reasons known to the authorities.
• The rooms did not have proper fans.
• ONE CAN EASILY UNDERSTAND WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO A STUDENT WHO HAS BEEN FORCED TO STAND IN SUN FOR 3 HOURS HAS TO SIT AT A PLACE WITHOUT A FAN.
• The school authorities never considered providing proper water facility but kept a bucket full of water for every one to drink from it in UNHYGENIC WAY.
2. The students were allowed to enter the examination hall at about 9.10 AM.
3. The parents had gone and later the students were told to go out of the school and return at 11.30 AM as the examination was to be held at 12.00 NOON.
4. The school authorities should have allowed then to remain in Campus and sit under a tree or shade so that they are not tired off.
5. The students were made to bake in the sun.

Therefore SEE THE PATHETIC CONDITIONS OF OUR CHILDREN FOR NO FAULT OF THEIRS, BUT DUE TO THE ILL MANAGEMENT OF C.B.S.E. NOW my daughter is discouraged.

I was very much surprised to learn that for a few you all are going to provide an opportunity to retake the examination AND THE DIFFICULTY LEVEL WILL BE THE SAME AS IT WAS FOR THOSE WHO APPEARED ON May 01, 2011.

Mr. Registrar, either the CBSE considers that all in the world are fools of the first order or they want to show the world that they care for students.

If you want to abide by what you say then call those students who are being allowed to sit in the examination and let them

1. SIT IN THE SUN FOR THREE HOURS.
2. PUSH THEM AROUND FOR A FEW MINUTES AND THEN LET THEN ENTER THE HALL.
3. Let them panic for a few hours as to what will happen to the examination, without any help from their parents or NO COUNSELLING.
4. TAKE THE EXAMINATION AT 12.00 NOON
5. DO NOT PROVIDE ANY WATER OR FAN TO THEM.

So try to understand that same conditions can never be given or created and should stop talking what you do. It gives a bad impression to the world and shows incompetence on your part.

IN MY OPINION GIVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO ALL OR NONE, KINDLY SCRAP THE EXAMINATION OF May 01, 2011 and reset the papers and tell all the students to appear at the same venue, with same Roll numbers and at 9.00 AM also make it certain that the school has proper fans etc so the students do not suffer.

Also before finalizing a center for examination do send your team to see with their own eyes as to the school has some facilities or not to conduct the examination.

YOU PEOPLE ARE GIVING EDUCATION TO ALL BUT I THINK YOU ALL REQUIRE TO LEARN / be taught THAT PLANNING FOR POOR CANNOT BE DONE while SITTING IN THE AIR-CONDITIONED OFFICES.

I am asking a question from CBSE that 'the paper distributed in INDIA after 12 o' clock was not leak?

The best solution for these irregularities is to re-conduct the AIEEE-2011 exam on 11 May 2011 for all students, not for only few students. its not fair i demand to the whole working committee of aieee exam to re-conduct the paper, because those who will give their exam on 11 may they knew each and everything the pattern of exam, the total no. of marks and most important thing they knew is that those candidates who gave their exam on 1st may were not perform well in their exam, so its easy for them to compete us, please please and please wake up and take some serious action on this matter, competition means each and everyone can get one sets of paper, otherwise its not a competition, why should we suffer its aieee exam controller fault why he was unable to protect the paper . our career suffer, most of the people try twice to compete this exam, we have given our exam in a very extreme condition .

its my suggestion to the board re-conduct this exam on 15 may and give common paper to all of them, because you were prepare new sets of paper to the candidates who appear on 11 may . its easy for all o[censored]s .

I completely agree with the students that AIEEE should be re conducted totally. It's complete injustice with the students who gave the exam on may 1, 2011. one out of the group of students will pay for this inconvenience. Whoever gets the tough paper compared to the other that group will be in a disadvantage compared to the other. And also the comparison between two sets of paper is unthinkable. that's why board exams have almost the same questions throughout India.

please reconduct aieee so that there will be equality for all the candidates . reconduction is a must otherwise it would mean just playing with the future of 12 lakh students just for protecting govt money . what about students future . what about the students who decides country's future . what about their own future. we have given the exam under extreme conditions . they who are supposed to give the exam on 11 may will be benefited . its totally unfair .on what basis then the merit will be prepared . on what grounds do then people talk on equality to all . if the board cares for our career then they will reconduct the exam else they dont have any right to talk about equality .

please cbse authorities, , , , conduct aieee 2011 again for all students... it not matter if our engineering session starts a month later... what is matter is that we should get good college... and due to ruined atmosphere on 1st may many o[censored]s were unable to concentrate on the paper while giving exam.. due to which we were not able to give our 100% on that particular day... it is matter of our future... please make the rexam for all on equal basis... our constitution says right to equality for all...

cbse should have conducted the aieee exam on the last sunday of april as it always does every year... despite 24 april being a holiday ...then there would have been no date clash with afmc hence no confusion even if the exam would have been postponed for 3 hrs due to paper leak or rather there would be no paper leak ...too many wrong decisions

aieee exam should be re conducted...
this is totally unfair ... the exam must be reconducted, cbse can not judge the rank of students with two different sets of paper, the students giving exam on 8th will be having more knowledge than those who gave on 1st. they have got more time and now know that exam will be of 360 marks ... we all suffered a hot noon over our head for 3 hours outside the centres, we gave the exam in extreme conditions.

the paper must be re conducted otherwise it would be just like playing with the future of 12 lakh students...

Hi Anusha,
First of all you have to go and complaint in the police station about your marks sheet missing. After that, they will give some certificate based on that you have to go to your school and apply for the duplicate marks sheet. Otherwise, take the certificate given by police and apply at Secondary School Education Board. They will send the duplicate marks sheet to you or otherwise send it to your school.

I just want to request the CBSE board to set the papers based on text books. Out of syllabus questions should not be asked. Why we have big big text books? All our efforts go waste. Those who are Maths and Science genius will appear for Olympiad.

My children are studying at Believer's Church Residential School Thiruvalla, for the last 3 years they travel to and fro by school bus in 2nd trip, that means they have to get into the bus by 7.30 a.m and reach school by 8 a.m they are unloaded at the school yard who wait for other staff & students till 8.45 a.m. In the evening also all school buses leave the campus by 3.45 and these students who go by 2nd trip wait in the campus till 4.15 and reach home by 5.00 - 5.15 p.m.
And the condition of the bus is very pathetic; it sometimes met with break down or over heating of engine like that...due to the engine default of the old vehicle it shows fumes and fetched water.Many times it underwent repairing. It bears Reg No KL-3 G 8497 some 12 yr old vehicle.
Somehow the weekdays of almost 50 students from Changanacherry is very pityful and hardly get any time to study. The school has extra bus in the garage but not providing. Why this discrimination to this children ? The present school bus has a very poor body condition and we doubt about the fitness certificate. We are very much worried about this problem kindly step in to a solution
