my son Siddharth Srivastava roll no.4237021 appeared in class 12th CBSE board
exam from Navy Children School, Mumbai.
he scored 72 in chemistry and 63 in physics and 9 marks in maths which was unbelievable, he again appeared in the compartment exam and scored 17 marks despite taking tutions and toiling hard which is again very difficult to believe. In the past also my son have been performing quite well in all examinations including class 10th boards and has never failed in any of the subjects till date. His failure twice in the same subject is difficult to comprehend .On interacting with my son and getting the question paper solved at home it is observed that he was clear about the facts and has performed well during the exams also but unfortunately because of the existing provisions as per which the answer sheets cannot be shown to the parents or the students under the existing bye laws, it is difficult to pin point the exact responsibility.
You are requested to kindly intimate if a provision exists under which the copies of the student
who have failed in 1 examination can be shown to us.If not you are requested to kindly get the rules modified in such a manner that the copies of the failing students are shown to them so that they know where they have gone wrong.so that they can improve upon there performance in subsequent examination.
AS PER MY SON.HE HAD PERFORMED WELL IN THE 1ST PAPER WHERE IN HE GOT 9 MARKS TOTAL AND WAS EXPECTING 70 PERCENT IN THE COMPARTMENT EXAM.IT IS QUITE POSSIBLE THAT FAIR MARKING HAS NOT BEEN DONE OR THE COPY HAVE BEEN CHANGED WITH SOME OTHER STUDENT
DURING THE 1ST EXAM AND TO COVER UP THE MISAKE THE BOARD HAS MARKED THE PAPER IN SIMLAR MANNER DURING THE 2ND EXAM .SINCE UNFORTUNEATELY AS PER THE BY LAWS THE COPIES CANNOT BE SHOWED TO THE STUDENT
AND THE PARENTS AND IS DIFFICULT TO DIGEST THE FACT THAT SIDDHARTH COULD NOT GET EVEN 33 PERCENT MARKS WHICH CAN BE OBTAINED WITHOUT STUDY.IN SUCH AN EVENTUALITY WE THE HELPLESS PARENTS ARE MADE TO BELIEVE/SUSPECT FOWL PLAY/LACKADIASICAL ATTITUDE BY THE OFFICIALS.DETAILED TO CHECK THE COPIES.
