I just inform to you main apni car ka insurance cholamandalam se karwaya tha 23/11/2009 ko mujhe aaj tak koi policy nai mila meri gaadi ka accident ho gaya tha to mujhe pata chala k yah jo cover note hai yah fake hai maine jab bhupesh arora m. no[protected]...[protected]... ko bhataya to us ne mera phone pik karna band kar diya pls meri help kare aur mere paise wapas dilaye... aase logo jo k logo k sath fake karte hai aur pasie le kar fake insurance sale karte hai un par aur company par saakt action liya jaye pls help me and i want take my money.. main apko us ki attachment send kar raha hu pls take action on company and bhupesh arora

cholamandalam insurance — false commitment

On dated 09/10/2009 was renewed my car policy with your company, Mr. Srivastava the branch manager of your Surat Branch has come & convince for your company.

After 4 months my Car meet with accident & informed to your office for survey when the time I come to know that my car have CNG kit & this is not cover in the policy so that reason I am not eligible for any claim.

I have some query regarding this

The CNG update in My RC book on July & my insurance renewed on 09/10/2010
When the time of renewal have no any communication regarding that with CNG should be cover in the policy for avail the benefit of insurance
Your server have all the photos of my car including CNG then why all query come when I applied for claim


I just want to know when without covering CNG in the policy no any eligibility for claim than why should your agent not communicated to me also what is the wroth of this policy.

Maine Mere Vehical Hyundai Getz ka Insurance cholamandalam General Insurance.Co.Ltd ka insurance karwaya tha. par jab accident claim kiya to bole k aapane NCB liya hua hai islie aapko claim nahi milega. i think cholamandalam general insurance co. bogus hai. jo claim k waqt customer ko fault me bata kar claim dene se mukar jata hai.

    I have taken one motor insurance policy of chola mandalam general insurance for my car (hyundai i 10 era), details for the same are as follows.

    My vehicle meet with an accident on 10th of february 2010 and same i reported to chola mandalam general insurance people before sending it to hyundai workshop (kasliwal hyundai, indore).
    Hyundai workshop returned my vehicle on 12th of february 2010.

    Since i have taken “chola protaction optima” plan, i was eligible for daily allowance of rs. 500 per day, up to 5 days in a policy year, as i already mentioned that my vehicle gone in hyundai work shop on 10th and they delivered it on 12th (i. e 3 days in workshop), so i’ll be eligible of getting rs. 1500 as a daily allowance.

    When i enquired about the same it was told to me by mr. ajay that chola mandalam will make the payments to hyundai directly and i’ll receive a cheque of rs. 1500 as a daily allowance but it will take a month time. after a month when i enquired again it was told to me that they have to check with their ho.

    After 15 days when i enquired one again, i was told to me that since the nature of work is of one day my claim was declined by surveyor (some mr. dixit) who himself gone to hyundai workshop on 11th of feb 2010. (one day after i filed the complaint) and even this person talked very rudely on phone.

    When i have enquired about chola mandalam daily allowance policy at hyundai workshop i came to know that there are one or two cases per week which were denied. don’t know how much get reported due to customer negligence or lack of time.
    CHOLA MANDALAM GENERAL INSURANCE company is not fit for provide a proper service to public, until receive money from us they will badly behind us, if they wont release our fund they will not respone properly. not even bother.

    In website they put all the escalation process, all are blady for only dispaly other then nothing else.

      When once the claim for 'checked in baggage delay' is accepted, whether the Insurance Company can refuse to send the 'reimbursement money' by means of a cheque direct to the Bankers of the Insured upon specific request from the Insured. The Insurer refuse to send the cheque direct to the Banker of the insured.The Insurer insist that the 'reimbursement money' can only be sent to the insured's account by means of online transfer. Insurer ask for IFSC Code of the Banker, whereas Banker says that the IFSC Code is not operational just now. In what clause of the terms and conditions governing the insurance, is there a provision based on which online transfer alone is relied upon by the Insurer.

      Despite the fact that a complaint captioned "Delay in Reimbursement of Checked Baggage Delay" has been lodged, the Insurer in question has not come forward to quote the relevant provisions from their 'terms and conditions' which arms them with the power to deny reimbursement by means other than online transfer. Even the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India, Insurance Ombudsman and Consumer Forum may not come to the rescue of the Insurer under reference. Leave alone the question of reimbursement, courtesy demands that the insurance company should offer explanations to smoothen the ruffled feelings of customers whose patronage keeps the
      wheels of the company hum with activity.

        This is regarding the inconvenience I am facing due to the worst & worst service of Cholamandalam Health Insurance Company. I have submitted my maternity bills to cholamandalam health insurance Company Mumbai (Vashi) off. to Mr. Virendra Garg (Branch Head- Vashi).After a long follow up I received an unacceptable excuse of misplacing the bills which I had submitted. Then, again the follow up started from my side & second excuse given of endorsement of my child. After that again the long follow up started and I received a verbal commitment by Mr. Virendra Garg (Branch Head-Vashi) that the formalities are fulfilled and the check payment procedures are in progress which I will be getting in approx. 10 days. Then I waited for a long and at the end of my patience I called up to the above mentioned person and received a comment that the claim would not be passed. These whole irritating things are happening from past 7 months. This is really very worst & unprofessional thing to do. So, I think instead of passing the claim of the needful people, Cholamandalam is searching 1000 reasons not to pass the claims .So, I request you to fairly do the things, which would not affect your business badly. Kindly do the needful at earliest.

        I have submitted my mediclaim documents on 19-10-09, two months passed no mediclaim cheque is received even though i have received the confirmation from Cholamandalam that my claim has been settled for information & necessary action please I have sent nos. of mails to the claim Dept. regarding the above matter but nothing is heard from their end

          Dear Sir,
          We are middle class people .We have a electricity connection for the use of farming. But main thing is that Before 10 years we submeet all pending electricity bill we have receipt. We are not using this connection after all there were no electric wire to providing electric, any other source is not availabel, there were not electric motor, no running farm, there were no water source but elctric bill is coming and coming according to my information that amount will be Rs. 50, 000. Pending of electric bill which is not valid. Please give me Suggestion what we can do.

            Dear sir/madam,

            My name is gaurav kaushik from faridabad, haryana. i transferred a alto from the previous owner, when i got my new r. c., then i goto cholamandlam insurance office in nit faridabad for transferring the old insurance to my name.
            But the office manager did not help me.
            1) he told me that it will be done in new insurance only.
            2) then he abused me & told me that i am illiterate.
            3) then he told me about some new rules which was totally different from the the statement which was given from the head office.

              I have purchased personal loan from cholamandalam bank in may 2008, my loan ac number is xseglus[protected], in march 2009 my esc had been bounce on 5 march 09, due to insufficiant bal in my act. for that i have given chq of another bank on 19th of march 09 for the same & at 21st march 09 ecs had been cleared from my bank, due to which my another chq got bounced, now i want answer why this thing has happen, because ecs cannot happen automaticaly in same month on another date, i made request at andheri branch of same bank for refund thay said 15-20 days will be taken for same why shold i wait for 15-20days and i have to go to andheri branch to collect refund why should i go to andheri, they have to send it to my address by post, untill i get my answer i will not pay further ecs of remaining loan. please reply me soon.. thank you.

              My loan a/c no is XPRICOI[protected]. I wanted to foreclose my account and sending mails repeatedly for the past 6 months. I contacted coimbatore, salem office etc., but nobody has given clear figure to me. After asking all details, they used to say they will call back me in my mobile no. Cheques are presented in advance and getting bounced for a couple of times. I am planning to go for abroad for job shortly. If nobody calls me within this month, I may not be able to pay even a single EMI henceforth.
              My loan a/c no. Xsegmlp[protected] i request you not to present ecs twice in a month for which i am getting deducting of rs.225/- every month for insufficient finds. I already spoken with your customer care that i will clear one month emi which was not paid by me due to insufficient funds. Any way you consider me to as regular payer of emi every month and kindly adjust my one month emi due after ending tenure of months. So, kindly look out this and see that in future dont present ecs twice in a month.

But she was very rude and asked me to put the phone down and she disconnected the call. The service i have recieved from your back is pathetic. Can this be looked and send me the NOC at the earliest.

                I was feeling pack pain on 4th july 2008 night, on 5th july morning consulted to doctor after examination and x - ray. doctor admitted me and started medicine and trackson on neck. on 7th july around 9 pm, i was discharged. medication and injection was continued for next 5 days and doctor has called after one week. i again visited the doctor on 16th july. the mediclaim form was filled on 16th july and sent to cholamandalam office on 17th july with all original documents by trackon courier. after a week we got phone call from cholamandalam office about the original x - ray report. the x - ray report was sent by the trackon courier on 25th july.

                After that we were following the cholamandalam, and they told that the it is under process. on 10th of september we got phone call from cholamandalam goa office about submitting few more documents (latter of defecencies) followed by e-mail with attachment (dated 2nd september) asking to submit the following documents within 7 days.

                1. need late submission reason
                2. need all first detection reports and doctors prescriptions for cervical spendylosis
                3. need treating consultant to clarify the exact duration of the ailment and since when the patient is
                Uffering from the above said illness
                4. need all previous treatment taken details with prescriptions and lab reports


                I was out station, and the address on the claim form was my office address. i checked with my office and they has not received any latter on my name form cholamandalam office. the same time i had given my residence address to cholamandalam goa office. so i sent following reply by e-mail on 12 september

                1) i was discharge from nursing home on 7th july around 9pm, and i was still on medication including injections. doctors have called after one week. so the claim was submitted after visiting doctor. after one week we got call from the chola ms office about the x-ray report and the same was sent on 25th july to cholams office, goa by trackon courier.
                2) the sever pain has started on the evening of 4th july, although there was little bit pain since 4-5 days. the all original prescriptions and reports have bee submitted with the claim form.
                3)
                4) first time there was so sevier pain. there is no any treatment/ prescriptions in this regard.

                About point no. 3, i requested to cholamandalam office to get the latter from doctor. i got reply e-mail from goa cholamandalam office that “ for point no. 3 cholamandalam has sent a latter to doctor.

                I was folloing the goa office and i was getting the reply that the it is under process.
                Again i visited the cholamandalam office at goa, (october) and they told that the they are still wating the reply form the doctor. so i went to the doctor and got latter about the point no. 3 and same was submitted to goa office.

                I was following the same via phone or personal visit. every time i was getting the reply that it is under process.
                When january 2009, i visited the goa cholamandalam office, they told that the your file has been closed.
                And there was no any reason for the same was provided.

                I sent a email asking to settle my claim on 19th of january 2009. i got reply from the cholamandalam office that “ my file has been closed and request to reopened the file was declined by competent authority.
                I again sent a mail requesting to reopen my file and settle my claim.
                I have not yet got any reply.

                I beg to state that I have purchased six policy’s aprox three month ago from Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Co. Ltd but company will not provide all policy’s to as right now Pls. Help as to resolve this.

                But there is no response from their side i gave all the hospital documents to one of their employ mr mantosh kumar ([protected]) even he is not picking up my call. I have called there call center several times they just say its under investigation. I have send emails to them regarding this but still no response.
                Also when i went to the indusind bank those who have sold me the particular product say they cannot help, and they also refused to renew my policy saying that the plans have changed and it cannot be renewed.

                Please help me and suggest me what to do, feeling helpless.

                  I had taken a loan of rs.2, 46, 0000.00 on sep 2007 and 7214/- as emi is presented on my hdfc bank every 5th of the month. first time on the 5th nov 2008 my installment got bounced due to unavoidable circumstances. so collection agent called and came to my house on 18/11/2008 and collected 7241/- with receipt no. (754762). i was out of station when after few days i checked my hdfc statement i saw that on 17/11/2008 an amount of rs 7214 has been taken from my hdfc a/c. i tried calling customer service on[protected] but there was no record found. also on 5th dec the emi of rs 7251/- taken from my bank. so that means you have no record of the rs 7214/- emi has been taken twice in november. if this some sort of technical error or mismanagement please solve it and refund it to my hdfc bank a/c. i have written several times in http://www.choladbs.com/contactus. asp but no reply.

                  Very poor service. I have paid EMI is cash payment, then they tried to take the emi amount from my account through ECS. I have spoken to them serveral times but no use.
                  i have taken personal loan in the year 2007 as i have sufficiant fund to repay myu loan i am not able to reach to you all. i am tired of trying ur andheri branch no. which is wrongly printed in the broceure.
                  pl get in touch with me or else i will stop the cheque payment coz its not fair if you all are not available to solve clients problems. please as soon as possible. my contact no is [protected]. very urgent.

                  The above said is my agreement number for loan granted by Cholamandalam DBS. In the year 2007, I took a loan of Rs.50, 000 at a very high interest rate of 36%. I was in need of money very urgently and so i took the loan from them . But i informed them that i would do the preclosure of my loan within a year. They agreed to my statement. As i promised them i tried to do the preclosure of my loan but THEY DID NOT ALLOW ME TO DO THE PRECLOSURE. They gave me lame excuses and pulled my loan period for another year. I really got upset and met the bank manager (Mr. Srinivasan-Chetpat Branch Ph no: [protected]). Even then he did not respond me and was irresponsible. They were dragging the loan period and finally i fought for my rights and setlled my loan. I got the receipt as well as No-Due certificates after 2 years.
                  Now again they took my money from my bank saying that it was the EMI for my loan. i got frustated and asked Mr. Srinivasan about this . He yelled at me and disconnected my call and never answered my call till date. I kindly request you all not to take loan from Cholamandalam DBS.
                  Sujatha you shall go ahead and stop the cheque these dogs are worthless s**t. Even in my case i struggled for almost a year and finally got response from them only after stopping my EMI. Please read the above article...
                  I had taken a loan of Rs.50, 000/- on November 2007 and 2644/- as emi is presented on my ICICI bank every 5th of the month. First time on the Apil 2008 my installment got bounced due to unavoidable circumstances. So I go to Rajbhavan Branch same day i paid amount and I collected 2644/-- with receipt .I was out of station when after few days I checked my ICICI statement I saw that an amount of Rs 276/-has been taken from my ICICI a/c. I tried calling customer service on[protected] but there was no record found. After i paid the amount even though cheque represt. So that means you have no record of the rs 2644/- Cheque return has been taken twice in April.I have written several times in http://www.choladbs.com/contactus.asp but no reply. After one year recently october 2009 my installment got bounced due to insufficient fund. So I paid to local branch rajbhavan road 2644/- with receipt. even though 3 times cheque represent to bank and i saw tht an amount of rs 276/- three time has been taken from My ICICI a/c. I visit there branch once again I duscussed collection boy Mr.Madhu but there is no result. really this people is very neglate.I kindly request you all not to take loan from Cholamandalam DBS.

                  I had taken a loan of Rs.6, 54, 0000.00 on Apr 2008 and 23973/- as emi is presented on my hdfc bank every 5th of the month. First time on the 5th Feb 2010 my installment got bounced due to unavoidable circumstances. So collection agent called and came to my house on 13/02/2010 and collected 23973+ 500 bank charge=24473/- with receipt no.[protected]. I was out of station when after few days I checked my HDFC statement I saw that on 16/02/2010 an amount of Rs 23973/- has been taken from my hdfc a/c. I tried calling customer service on[protected] but there was no record found. Also on 5th Feb the EMI of Rs 23973/- taken from my bank. So that means you have no record of the rs 23973/- emi has been taken twice in February. If this some sort of technical error or mismanagement please solve it and refund it to my HDFC bank a/c.                     I bought a car last year in december from orion hyundai in gurgaon and they got it insured through cholamandalam insurance. my insurance renewal was due in december and i started getting calls from all kind of insurance companies regarding this. my complain is that how my phone number and address etc leaked out to these people?

                      Dear sir,

                      We have been banking with indusind bank ltd. dhanbad branch. we have taken shop insurance policy from the cholamandalam ms general insurance co. ltd through induaind bank ltd.

                      Last year our cash was looted during the course of transit from our shop to bank. we have logged the claim with the company and submitted all the relevent documents (fir copy, press clipings, ledger copy, etc).

                      Till date our claim is not yet setteled. we have requested several times to induaind bank for settelment of claim but they are also speech less.

                      We request you to intervien in the matter. we would also request you to kindly raise the issue on bancaussarnce where customer are forced from the bank to take the policy of the particular company and at the time of claim they pull their hand.

                        Complain # 45630 dt. 04/10/07, was done due to the loss of my scorpio. (engine # 54f39268, chassis # 52f73625) to the above company. my scorpio got stolen from the front of our colony gate on 03/10/07. fir copy given to the company on 05/10/07, and acknowledgement copy by rto dept. for keeping the file in safe custody copy was given on 06/10/07. final report from the police dept in the month of nov 07. after this there was no responce from insurance company.
                        We had to call them each time to know the status of our claim settlement. after chasing them like mad dogs. they said that the court report is mandatory. we refused to hire a advocate for the court report.insurance company agreed to hire a advocate but that too after following up with their head office at chennai. we had to call, call, call and call and also e-mail for the status of our settlement. but there was no firm responce from the company.
                        Delhi office says, file is with head office (ho) for the finalisation and in ho (gm or agm) says it is with the chairman for the final signature, who is either sometime out of country, gone to attend a marrage, or is visiting his home town. we are paying the emi with interest to icici bank against this car. we have been mentally tortured by this company in delaying the settlement, this has effected my whole family happiness, health and pushing me into depression. we strongly doubt there honesty and integrity. pls advice us with some convincing logic as to why we should not file a claim on cholamandalam ms general insurance company ltd. for rs. 2 crore (rs. two crores) for their unfair play, intentional harresment and mental torture towords me and my family in delaying this settlement. we look forward to your favourable cooperation and support in settling the issue.

                        Please file complaint with the Insurance Regulatory Authority to get the relief or file in consumer court. You can get speedy relief at Regulatory Authority but substantial relief at consumer court.
