Cinepolis India — ticket not issued but transaction was successful. requesting refund. | |||||
On apr 12, 2018, i tried booking 2 tickets via http://www.cinepolisindia.com for a movie at cinepolis: royal meenakshi mall bannerghatta road. Total cost for 2 tickets was rs. 430. First time, i tried payment via net banking. The transaction was successful in the bank website. But tickets were not issued. I realised that the tickets were not issued because the same seats that i tried to book were available still. Later i tried doing the transaction again using paytm. Since i did not get the tickets again, i tried again. Later i booked the same seats using bookmyshow.com website. In total there were 3 transactions that went through successfully but for which tickets were not issued. I am attaching all the details of the transactions here. I have not received any refund for these transactions yet. Total amount to be refunded being 430 x 3 = rs. 1290. I tried contacting cinepolis support via email. Apart from giving standard replies like "we will get back to you shortly", they have not taken any interest in resolving my issue. I have sent a total of 18 emails to support till now, but the conversation has not yielded any result. Many times they don't even reply and when they do, they send a standard response. I've already shared my email and contact number on my support emails. I hope to get a resolution on this by posting here. Was this information helpful? | |||||
