Damage due poor packing, transportation, transshipment and labour.

This is to inform all concern that severe damages were caused to our household items when transported by Agarwal Packers from Panchkula to Bangalore. The quality of the packers & movers service thus provided can be judged by the extent of damage.

The damaged household items speaks of care taken by Agarwal Packers while packing, during transportation, shifting etc.

We were allured by the false advertisement by Agarwal Packers in their web site. Thus in spite their quotation was approx. 1.4 times the market rate we opted for their service. But our faith in Agarwal Packers shattered after receiving many items in damaged condition.

Although the carpenter was sent to repair broken / damaged items, but he could not repair as the damage was very high.

The damaged items also speaks of rough handling and poor quality of packing and shifting and irresponsible attitude of Agarwal Packers staff. Above said ill treatment to the goods thus transported also indicate shortening the life of household items presently seems to be intact.

Following is the list damages agreed by Carpenter which he could not do any thing:

1. Damage to paint & sunmica of study table.
2. Invertor stand cracks
3. Damage in fully automatic washing machine.
4. Damage in inventor and its battery
5. Geyser pipe damaged.
6. Damage of Godrej Almirah
7. Top of side table damaged.
8. Motor cycle body damaged
9. Motor cycle stand damaged
10. Motor cycle silencer damaged.
11. Activa – lot of scratches on body
12. Active cracks in front side
13. Refrigerator wheel/ legs damage.
14. Scratches on sun mica of side board
15. Sprout maker broken
16. Sunmica of side board broken
17. Lord Krishna show piece broken
18. Sunmica of Diwan broken
19. 2 Steel pcs of steel rack – utensils missing.
20. Radha Krishna painting broken from side
21. Small chanting box broken.

In addition to above, there are other loses also which we are noticing when we are opening the packets.

As per informal information given to us it all happen due to mishandling of items at Hyderabad. In Hyderabad Aggarwal Movers changed the truck without any intimation to us.

Further while, unloading goods, the labour was totally untrained and atleast not less than 10 packets were slipped from their hands and damage of goods. It includes Alter (temple), photos of Shri Radha Krishna, refrigerator. For unloading labour demanded for tip also. Without tip, they were not ready to go.

A number of calls are made to their Bangalore office but it is not being attended properly.
More than two months are over, but nothing has been done by Bangalore office. Even, nobody has come to see the loss caused to us and religious faith.

We hope some body at senior level will look into the matter and assess the loss.
