my name is uday jaradi. i bought a airtel dth few days back. Unfortunately, your product and service has not performed well and your service is inadequate because your technical person did mistake and transfer my account balance to other's account.even your dealer gave me wrong voucher coupons. i did complain regarding all this matter to your customer care but no body gave me good response. from last 15 days i am having problem. I am disappointed because your service is inadequate your techincal person and your dealer as not disclosed clearly and your techincal person and dealer misrepresented every thing.

I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem and will wait until 26 April 2009. because i am feed up about all this things and before seeking help from a consumer court and news papers. Please contact me at the above address or by phone at [protected].

Yes, airtel is one junk service provider many issues with the phones they supply like black berry and network connection is junk,

black berry is replaced 4 times, still same issues, it will disconnect the connection automatically.

Airtel Mobile — NO SERVICE FROM 13TH JULY 09

Dear Sir/Madam,

Self having regular Post paid connection of AIRTEL mobile in Pune Number [protected] . From 11th July 09 it was suddently stop working.

Visited Chinchwad Pune Customer Care center and they have ask me to call on 888 which is a service number. Register complainte there also.

Chinchwad c.c. inform me that SYSTEM IS DOWN FOR DATA UPDATION UP TO 18th JULY 09. and we can not do any thing up to 18th July 09.

This is a big surprise 8 days without mobile which i is for business use how can one work out.

After all discussion Chinchwad customer service counter (Very very ruff and unprofessional approach) was refuse to support and clearly told even WANT TO STOP SERVICES WE CAN NOT BUT WE WILL CHARGE YOU THE RENTAL.

As on today 21 july 09 mobile is off and now taken a dicision to stop the use of AIR TEL services.

I purchased aittel DTH package in June'2009. The system was running very fine. After a month there
was a problem in set top box.Immediately I phoned my dealer and he suggested me to log a complain
to their customer care. But unfortunately I could not do it. On behalf of me, my lealer made a complian.
Immediately I found a message saying my complain number and the date and time of visit of service engineer. Next day the service engineer contacted me and came to my house. At that time I could not
show the problem. But the problem occurred after few hours. Immediately I phoned the S.E, and he
told me not to worry and he will replace the set top box. Next day he came and replaced the set top
box with propper installation.
I am very satisfied with the prompt service and the behaviour of the S.E.

I think, the dissatisfaction depends from person to person. Customer has to understand the technology
and the problem of S.E.

airtel dth tv — MANY TV CHANNEL ARE NOT WORKING ,PROBLEM PERSIST SINCE 15 DAYS

I have taken DTH service of Airtel digital tv , and regularly i face problem with services of channels,
i repeatedly raised the issue to customer care DTH on number 12150.
But i feel that there is no one responcible & working fo solution.

I really frusted from this service ,

Pls help me out ,and send my quesy to some responcible person.
AREA MANGER of the Airtel had the authority to DO, SAY & WORK as he WANTS
Dearest Nodal,
I am using word dearest to you because I think that every time I send a complaint to you and you assure me that it will not repeat again but it happens . Before complaining this time I want to request you that please don’t assure me that you will take care of it, just mail me that you cannot help me out with that so I can at least make myself feel that company work like that only and I have to use AIRTEL DTH service like that only, so in the future if something happen I will not waste my time and money on going to all this process.
Now today is the last date of my three months free subscription, so I went to airtel office at lajpat nagar, Kanpur asked them to recharge my account for rupees 2050 so I can order for economy pack for 10 months, but they said that they don’t have coupon for that .Then the office person called this senior and ask to help, this is the best part senior said i should take coupons from market and recharge my account, to confirm this conversation I also talked to that person whose name is Mr.Olvin his mobile number is [protected], he told me the same words in first conversation with him then I asked the office person to give me contact number of area manager and his name too. Then I called him (Area Manager –Ritesh Gupta, Mobile Number – [protected] ) I told him the full details and waited for his replies but it was too shocking to me that area manager of such a big company could also reply to me like this, best part of the complaint he said that I should go to any dealer and take recharge coupon after this reply I asked him that why airtel office can’t provide me coupon then first he was silent to it, I called him to know the reason but ... After that I told him the case that happened to me last time, that I got a coupon from local dealer and it did not get recharged for a day over this he replied me “penny (100 Rs) doesn’t count and right now my main concern should be to recharge nothing else”, then I said to him that this is not the way of working. I could not believe I am telling a company area manger the way of working and company makes these kind of persons area manager .After this he without saying anything put me on hold and put me on conference to Mr.Olvin and said to him that when they get the coupon they should call me and disconnected the phone.
After all this I immediately called Airtel DTH Customer Care timing was 5.11 pm .Miss Poonam took my call, I told her the details she replied me that they couldn’t take complaints against AREA MANGER I asked her the reason, she replied nothing and asked me to talk to her senior named Mr. Vinod . He also replied that he couldn’t help me in this.
Might be Area Manager of the Airtel had the authority to do, say & work as he WANTS.
Hope that company should at least give professional development course to these kind of Area Managers or please as a dedicated customer of Airtel company I will say to Nodal Officer not to make such promises to customers which can’t be fulfilled .

I have taken airtel digital TV on 7th July 2009 from that day everyday there is a new problem with my connection. At the time of installation the person meltreated, so I launched a complaint against him the complaint number is 826318 after this two person from Kanpur airtel office called Mr.Manjeet when I was talking to him, all of sudden he gave the phone to Mr.Abhishek and left . Mr.Manjeet and Mr.Abhishek seem to be new to this professional world or they don’t know how to talk to a customer. Now the big fish to be caught now is on 10th July 2009 I brought the recharge coupon from a shop near to my place name KINESCOPE SALES of 100 Rs. The coupon Sr No. Is [protected] tried to recharge my account but did not get it out done so I called customer care they told me that this Sr. No. Is not registered in the company account and told me exchange this card from the shopkeeper .When i went to him he called his distributor and told the case to him the reply was shocking to me the distributor told us that the card will be going to register till 10 pm in the company so after that I should recharge my account then it will work .Now few question arises:

•Is the distributor is printing the recharge coupon in his house?

•If the recharge coupon is issued from the company then why it is not in the company’s account?

•Is this the ethics and policy of the company?

•Is this a stealing from customer’s pocket?

•Is the two senior staff of the company behaving like this justified?

I think as a customer of the company I have the right to know the answer to all these questions. For me now it’s not just a question of 100 Rs or stealing from my pocket.
Now it’s the question of ETHICS and POLICY of the company.

Hope that all my issues will be solved ASAP and action will be taken against all of the people involved in all the issues or otherwise I have to knock the door of consumer form.

I think so that better you read my mail once again then reply to it or it just common reply given to all customer . I had no problem with customer care executives they at least help me out and i have taken coupon on 10.07.09 that recharge on 12.07.09 and I mailed you on 11.07.09 and my question had not been answer till yet. So I repeat it again:

AirTel DTH Customer service and complaint resolution is Worst. I am paying for channels with no picture on the screen. Area service manager Keeps his mobile Switched OFF ([protected]). Service engineer calls and commits will come in 30 mins but never turned up and finally sends the SMS that complaint has been resolved.

I am facing this problem in Electronics City Area, Bangalore.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO GO FOR AIRTEL DTH...

I have already registered the above complaints but there is no technician who has visited my home for the query.

The staff who attend my phone all give me a new time that a person will visit my home and will solve the query. But nobody visit to solve it nor even a phone has come to ask the query. I have got rid of the product and I want to just disconnect it as no service after sales is provided.

As per the terms and conditions it is prescribed that such type of complaint will be solved within 24 hours but till now 120 hours passed away but there is no resolution of my query. I dont know what to do.

Even the staff of Airtel cant tell me the responsible person to whom I can contact directly who is responsible for the service to be provided nor they know anything in this matter. They only say that they can only forward the complaint at backend and a person will be sent for the purpose.

Please guide me in this matter as soon as possible

airtel dth services — Installation of the product

Dear Sir,
I had bought an Airtel Digital TV online by paying from online banking account on 18th January 2009, since then i have called up customer care more than 20 times and have been provided with various numbers to get the installation done but on calling those dealers they have clearly denied installation saying that the dth was not purchased through them so they cannot get it installed. On again calling up customer care i have been give various nos. but still i am waiting for installation to happen which was at the time of sale was promissed to be done within 48 hours. But today being 22nd January 2010 i am still waiting for something to be done by them. Customer ID provided to me was [protected]. Having made more than 20 calls some of which have lasted more than 30 mins. I have also mailed my issues more than 10 times to the customer care mail id i.e [protected]@airtel.in, but everytime i have been told sorry for the inconvieniece caused we will resolve your issues within few hours but few days have passed and i am still waiting for the services from their end. I would hereby also like to file for a compensation for the inconvienience caused to me by having to call & follow up the issue and delay caused in installation. Looking forward to Consumer Forum for help in this case.

The signal went off on sunday, filed a ticket and monday somebody called and said he will come.
But refused to come after 5:30 as I was in office. So I came home from office only for fixing DTH tv and he did not turn up and when I called the number I was given another number and finally I had four numbers to call and none worked. Then evening I call customer care the famous response "We understand your concern and we apologize" (total bull no meaning). I get to know that 9-6 is working hours so I asked him to send someone by 9 so that I can go to office at 9:30 but no body turned up. MOST INTERESTING PART IS THIS ARITEL DEDUCTS THE AMOUNT ON DAILY BASIS BUT FOR SERVICE IT TAKES MORE THAN 2 DAYS!!!

The most pathetic service. There is no value for customers time and money.
Unfortunately I subscribed it for one year. I wish I could just return and get the money. I am repenting on going for Airtel DTH if some one reading this please dont for this !!!

i totally agree because i m facing too similar problem, already malied before writing here. One nice thing I came to know - 24hrs means, 8 working hours a day makes your 24 hrs in 3 days. good one. Its a joke with a customer. It implies any SERVICE stating 24 * 7, leads to 24 hrs in 7days.. be careful customers... Its a new concept.

Airtel DTH — Regarding the problem with the DTH Services and equipment

I have bought a new Airtel DTH connection on 7 July 2010.One day after another there has been some or the other problems. I am myself a doctor at AIIMS,New Delhi.I can not waste my time lodging complaints and waiting for the engineers to attend the probblems.One day there is problem of person not coming on time to attend the complaint and then the remote stops working.This is not the way that I had thought of working of BHARTI TELEMEDIA Limited. I Want to emphasize that I am feeling cheated and Harassed because of the services and the equipment being provided which goes worse within 10 days of buying.I have completely wasted my whole weekend looking into one problem or another. a very very bad experience.
