[Resolved] Airtel — Airtel SIM card not working in Dubai

I am an NRI working in Dubai and Visit my native in India once or twice a year. I had subscribed to a Airtel prepaid life time service SIM card in my last visit to India in the month of April'09. My SIM No is[protected] H 3 and Mobile phone no is +91-[protected]. It was explained to me by the Airtel Agent that I need to make a call of atleast Rs 200/- in 6 months to keep the SIM card active. So I was just trying to make an international call from this SIM but while using this SIM, it doesnt indicate any mobile network in Dubai. Now I am about to complete my continuous stay of 6 months outside india getting this SIM card from Airtel and hence I wish to use it and top up further to keep my SIM active. Notably this is not the first time it is happening to me. Earlier also I had got one SIM Card ( No HLR-2 [protected] and Mobile No +91-[protected] which was made inactive by Airtel because of this same simple reason of not using the SIM for 6 Months though I had balance credit on my phone while leaving from India which also I lost without using the phone. This time also I had kept sufficient Credit balance on my SIM ( more than Rs 400/-) while leaving India in April -09 so that I could use it from Dubai just to keep it active. I simply request you to look into the matter and provide a satisfactory service to NRI customers which is lacking badly with Airtel as of now. Kindly let me know the status oy my SIM card and advice accordingly how to keep Airtel SIM with me for further use in India without any pain. My name is Shinu. I am an NRI working in UAE. My Airtel number is [protected] is not working since 1 Nov 2020. This is not the first time I am facing this problem. I filed complaint in their customer care email. The replied me to call 121. I was surprised, how I will call without network. My number is connected with bank activities. I lost so many important messages due to this network failure.
I have sufficient balance to be an active customer. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible

My Airtel number is [protected] is not working NOV 8 My number is connected with bank activities. I lost so many important messages due to this network failure.

This is ravi Here, same problem me facing here as of i am not receiving any OTP to carry out transaction and other activities.Its limited service network coming.which is of no use.Without any intimation network providers shouldnt disconnect the network.peoples are facing the problems

Hi, I am staying in Dubai and keeping the airtel number [protected].
This number is with me now more than 13 years and all my services are connected to this.
Every month am keep on recharge to keep the sim active, last few days I noticed it is showing NO SERVICE, in my Airtel application it is active.

Kindly resolve this issue at the earliest as am facing some issues because of this.

My Airtel number is registering with etisalat and du. But no incoming or outgoing calls are working. Only incoming messages are working. But I have more than 100 INR credit balance on my sim. Before airtel prepaid sim was working on international roaming without any international packs. Even i have credits still my pay as you go line is not working

Sir am in dubai i want to keep my sim active, for the past 2 weeks my sim network not showing I can't change this to manual access du or Etisalat. Can you please leave my connection active ☹️☹️ i recharge my account every month, i use this number for all bank and also this is my only number known by my relatives my friends.

I didn't recieve my account transaction and OTP for application 😭😭 can you fix this as soon as possible 🙏

I have the same issue, and I tried latching to Dubai/etisalat manually even that is not working. I tried contacting the airtel agents but I am only getting assurances from past many days. My number is [protected]😢 please it's really urgent and i[censored] can resolve this I would really appreciate it.

My prepaid airtel sim is not working in DUBAI..
It shows tower in mobile but when I try to make a call it says "YOUR SIMCARD DOES NOT ALLOW CONNECTION TO THIS NETWORK".
When I tried choosing the network operator manually that also dint work.
I have my all bank related stuffs in this number.
I kindly request airtel to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
Am not able to receive any otp and other related messages.
