I WAS USING AIRTEL SIM CARD FOR MORE THEN TWO YEARS.SUDENLY I GOT PHONE AND SMS FROM THE COMPANY THAT YOUR DOCUMENT ARE NOT WITH US AND IWAS ODERED TO SUBMIT IN TWO DAYS.MY MOBILE IS DEAD FROM 16 TH OF SEPTEMBER I SUBMITTED DOCUMENTS STILL PHONE IS DEAD.I HAVE CONTACED AT CUSTOMER CARE AS WELLAS HEAD OFFICE WITH NO RESULTMY NO IS [protected] [protected]
Sir, my mobile no. is [protected] and i am using said no. since last 6-7 years without any problem. Around 20 days before i received a call from your call centre for submition of re-veryfication form, so, i submited re-veryfication form with your Anakapalle office named M/S MANI AGENCIES on 13-08-10 alongwith required documents and also informed your call centre on same day about submission of re-veryfication form, you can confirm it from call log book of 13-08-10.

Today on 29-08-10, when i want to make a very important business call then i came to know that you had debarred my mobile no. for all incoming and outgoing calls without any reason and information.This situation is very torturous and harrassing for me, so, activate my no. as soon as possible and give me proper reason for debarring of my no.

    My mobile number [protected] got registered under NDNC category vide reference number S[protected],dt.25.01.2009 and has been confirmed by AIRTEL, Chennai. Even after completion of 9 months from the date of registration under NDNC, still I am receiving 'unwanted calls and messages'. And also, I am surprised that my mobile number [protected] is showing as 'NOT AN ACTIVE DND NUMBER' on NDNC registry of TRAI website.

    When I wrote mail to TRAI, I am instructed to approach Service Provider (AIRTEL). Accordingly, I sent emails to [protected]@airtel.in and [protected]@airtel.in ONE MONTH back apart from verbal complaint through Airtel Customer Care.

    My complaint has not been resolved so far.

      i am facing majour trouble with my airtel co-ordinator . As i have taken a corporate postpaid connection , airtel shops don't help me and customer care allways says that they don't have this data . SO i want to know what do i do .
      My airtel co-ordinator Mr. Rakesh Johri , has turned out to be a big time useless guy . He took 1000 bucks from me and activated my card in 25 days . He told me some diff calll rates and when i asked at customer care , my rates were diff . till now my CUG hasn't been activated .
      I am in a bug mess as what to do .

        Hi,
        I m Dheeraj from Etawah, (UP,west). I would like to bring to your notice that AIRTEL network is very very poor in the area of Bahera, Mahewa,Etawah (UP,west)The caller’s voice is not clear on the mobile and in between call gets disconnected by itself.and mostly time it is in off line mode. Please look into this matter very soon and do the needful asap else we may have to switch to some other network which gives better connectivity than AIRTEL.

        I am using AIRTEL prepaid scheme, without my permission they have acitvated Hello Tune and charged 30 Rupees. Right now i am in Bangalore.

          Bharti Airtel Postpaid — std call barred

          I had switched from my prepaid service to post paid airtel sevice
          My local calls are activated but my STD calls are barred despite contacting the custemor care executive I have received vague answer I can not being touch with my clients as I am on roaming service these send wrong message towards my clients and create bad impression about me in clients mind

          only doing publicity, , , , , , , this is really shame on their part..
          i advice everyone to go to cosumer court to get their desired service

          Bharti Airtel Postpaid — Their servers are always being upgraded

          I have an airtel connection which i would like to terminate, since i'm leaving abroad. But because of their servers being upgraded everyday, or rather whenever i call them asking for termination, i have not been able to terminate this. It's been days now. and the rental has been increasing. Isn't this heights of server upgradation? that too daily? it's been 5 days and i've called them several times asking them to connect me to the department responsible for disconnection of service. But server upgradation has been going on. great! i wonder when the server will be up and running.
          Your Airtel postpaid connection is very very warest, compared to other mobile services and one more thing your verification excutive are very lezy fellows they dont know how to talk with the costumers. If it happens like this every body wants to cancel your connection. advice airtel to concentrate of their customers rather than making fools the cusromers.

          Bharti Airtel Postpaid — Billing

          Hello,
          My name is B. M. Khan. I am using Postpaid connection of Bharti Cellular (Airtel) since years now. I have two problems with the company.
          1) Bill Amount is raising every month. When asked for an itemized detailed statement, the customer service executive keeps on transferring and keeping me wait. And ultimately, l landed no where and disconnected the call. Tried many times but same response.
          2) In these few months, I have noticed this new trick of the company. They are sending the bill just 2 - 3 days before due date and if not paid in 2 - 3 days, then you have to pay the late payment penalty amount extra. Since months, it is happening with me. Last time, I shouted at the Airtel Relationship Centre and they took the payment only for the billing amount and not the penalty charges. But in this month's bill, apart from my billing amount, it is showing previous amount pending and under that, it is showing Late Payment Penalty charges for previous bill. I am really frustrated with this cheap act. Please help me by taking some strict actions against them.

          My postpaid no. is [protected].I want to get it cancelled.This belongs to Pathankot and I am at Delhi .I am being told that I need to go to the same place at pathankot to get the sim cancelled which is not possible for me in any case..Therefore I am submitting an appeal to cancell the sim online.

          Bharti Airtel — Cancellation of SIM

          I purchased an Airtel life time SIM (Mobile no. [protected]) on 09th June 2011 for my wife Mrs. Tripti Joshi FROM Koparkhairane Navi Mumbai. We submitted all documents same day and photographs after 3 days. SIM was working well and we recharged it with Rs. 205 along with a call option plan of Rs 27. All was fine, suddenly few days back (19th June 2011), it stopped working. I went to Airtel service center and got to know after calling 999 from Landline that this number is being cancelled. I talked to Airtel executives and they told me that number is cancelled based on verification call. We never received any call as far as I can remember. I guess, we should have received at least one call before number is being cancelled. The executive admitted that call was not made and still number was cancilled. I was given the nodal officer's number and I wrote as follows -
          Please let us know the path forward. I want to keep the same number for my wife as she has already distributed the number to the acquaintances and I don’t want to keep a post paid scheme as prepaid is fine with me. There is a balance of Rs 215/ in the mobile number which has been canalled.

          Please let me know –
          (i) Transcripts of the verification call if it has happened
          (ii) Help me restart the same number. I don’t want to pay for another SIM. You will agree that it does not make sense for me to buy another SIM for 100/ to save my 215/ (balance amount on number) and moreover I want same number for my wife Tripti Joshi.

          I purchased this SIM as lifetime number for my wife and what an irony it stops functioning just after 10 days.

          No reply for last so many days. Again I went to Airtel center at Vashi Navi Mumbai and there was no solution and behaviour of executives were not in great taste as I have done a mistake by buying their prodcut despite so many choices in the market. Still Rs. 215 plus SIM coast of Rs. 100 is balance in that number besides the harrassment and cancillation of comittments made by my wife in that number which does not exists anymore.
          I am working professional and can't afford to give time to all this non sense which although I have done my best (visiting 2 times in person and 2 times mail them the problem with no solutuion.)
          I want to retain the number and balance amount in my SIM.

            I hold a post-paid airtel connection and is active for the past 5 years now.
            Recently I have shifted my house and in that connection wanted to change my mailing address.

            I have been calling up the customer care executives and every time they give a new information.

            I told them that my citibank statement which contains the new mailing address is the proof of submission. And they agreed to it.

            I took my airtel connection from Vijayanagar aritel office, and as I stay quiet close to that area, I decided to get it changed in that outlet. Hence when I went all the way from Marathahalli( where I work) to Vijayanagar that lady told me that the bank statement will not act as a proof. Why are the executives giving misleading information.When contacted again (121) that executive told me that a nationalised statement is accepted. Later another executive told me that the address on the Company letter head ( that I work) is okay to be submitted as a proof.

            I had decided to go today and when i contacted the aritel office rajaijanagar 6th block over the phone, to check if they accept the letter head as the proof, she sang another song... she said this will not suffice.

            The verification for a mobile connection is already done when I got one, now i am asking for change in the mailing address and not a new phone connection. Please understand my point.

            My name is Pandidurai from tamilnadu.but now iam studying alliance university bangalore.iam using airtel for many years.i did my graduation BE in tamilnadu during that time my airtel number is "[protected]".really i enjoyed very much tower capability, offers, full taltime topup, etc etc of airtel.now iam doing my MBA in bangalore.i have experience about airtel in tamilnadu so in bangalore also i got new airtel sim and my mobile number is "[protected]" (In our alliance university itself we have departmental store so here itself we purchased the sim but that time no airtel sim. i waited for three days to get my airtel sim).

            Problems

            1.Customer care is very very very poor.

            2.People in customer care was not responding properly.

            3.Unknowingly balance reducing.

                AIRTEL CAN BE AWARDED AS THE FRAUD CHAMPIONS.
                THEY ARE TAKING MONEY FROM US AND NOT GIVING ANY INFORMATION.
                LET ME DESCRIBE THIS JOURNEY OF THIS AIRTEL FRAUD CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
                Airtel Discover India contest.
                Contest goes this way. They will ask a question and you have to reply the choices in SMS either a or b or c.

                Every SMS costs 3 rupees. For every correct answer you will get 5 points and for every wrong answer you will loose a point. You can answer any number of questions and the person who gets the hisghest score will be the winner.

                I played teh game and scored around 445 points. I also got the sms you are one of the top scores in the contest and keep playing.

                Suddenly the contest ended and they have not released the results. When i contacted the customer care they have no idea of the contest. They say that only the winner will get the notification.

                MY QUESTION.----->if only winners can get the notifcation, there is a possibilty that no can can be notified.
                I HAVE SPENT AROUND 500 RUPEES FOR THIS SO I NEED TO KNOW WHETHER I LOST OR WONT THE GAME. AND WHICH PLACE I COMPLETED. AM I FAIR IN THIS OR NOT?

                when i contacted customer care they have no clues. I have contacted more than 20 times and talked with around 30 persons including suprevsiors and manager. All of them said only one answer that they have forwarded the complaint and i will receive the call.

                i haven't received any calls yet.
                When asked the refund for the money spent one agent promises that he will give the refund an another says that he cannot provide.

                And another says that he cannot provide refund for the amount of 400 or 500, he can provide only for 100 or so.

                SO wat this mean., Airtel is conducting this contest to cheat us and get money from us.
                Why are you networks cheating peoples like this?

                dear mr.kamal, the customers of airtel as well as you know that this issue is not going to be resolved since nobody in airtel customer service team members are not aware of this contest itself.then how it could be possible for u to solve the problem.what is the necessary for you to know the customer details when the customer has attended the contest from his mobile.you can keep in touch with him in his mobile.

                If you are aware of anything abt this contest and the result date, pls write the same in this complaint forum instead of asking for the contact details of the customers.

                    Hi,
                    This is Manickam from Bangalore.
                    I booked an Airtel broadband connection on 19.09.09 (Saturday). The plan details are
                    ONE AIRTEL VALUE COMBO 749, 2 Mbps, 4 GB. The SEF NO is TBLR 017836. I paid 3 months bill in advance Rs.2250 for free installation and additional Rs.50 against affidavit.

                    Previously I had some technical problems in getting Airtel connection at my residence, so when the Airtel representative came I informed him about that. I asked him to check the feasibility and then collect the money. He came with a technical person and they checked and informed me that it is possible to give the connection. The promised date to give the connection after filling the form is 2 days period i.e 21.09.09 (Monday). Monday when I called him he was not picking the call. After three days when I called Customer care they said it will take 4 working days to give the connection. When I called after 6 days the customer care representative said it will take 7 working days to give the connection. All this period when I tried to call the sales guy he never answered the call and doesn’t have the courtesy to reply my messages. When I called his office number, the receptionist could not give me an proper answer and also disconnected my line.

                    Finally I planned to visit them at their own office. The office address is

                    I could not locate the office because the visiting card which the sales guy gave me was much older and they have shifted to a new place. Atlast I managed to locate their office in a different place and met their manager. He checked the status of my connection and said he cannot give 2 mbps because of technical problems and the connection will be immediately activated if I accept to a different plan which is 256 kbps, 8 GB, Rs.749. After I accepted the new plan, he spoke to technical guy, sales guy etc and promised me to give the connection on 28.09.09 (Monday).

                    Until now (30.09.09, Wednesday) no one turned up and the connection is not yet given.
                    Now both the Manager and sales guy is not answering my call. When I called customer care yesterday he told very clearly the connection can’t be given because tag is not available. He also mentioned very clearly just to book the connection they have given false information to me. I have raised a complain and the number is 24871036. I have recorded what ever he told about the Radix Solutions.

                    I’m working for a portal where the entire job is online. They made me to wait for almost 13 days for a connection which is not at all possible .I made so many calls to customer care, sales executive, manager etc. They totally tortured me for the past few days and all my business was gone without the net connection.

                    Airtel Broadband — giving wrong information and confuse consumer

                    I am using Airtel boradband with 780 unlimited pack with 128 kbps speed on my company name from last two years. And I came to know that TRAI release an order to all broadband (if the company say broadband connection) companies to provide minimum 256 kbps speed. But when i asked them to give me actual speed as per trai norms they told me so many stories like, ur connection is commercial, ur connection is not broadband, ur plan was booked as residential plan etc. etc. At Airtel website they mention cheap broadband plans but they don, t mentioned that which is commercial and which is residental. They are refusing to change my plan. Plz suggest me is I am eligible to file case against them.

                    Sir,

                    I booke for Airtel Internet services on 3rd MAy 2009 by paying the amount 1500 INR to Airtel Sr.Officer Mr.Khemraj( Form No.1774331).

                    Till this date niether my connection has not been activated nor my money refunded.Please address this complaint as soon as poissible.

                    If failing to do so I may be forced to go to consumer court as this problem streched beyond all limits(From May to July).

                    I have taken Airtel connection no. [protected] from 13-8-05 since the launch of Airtel in 2005 in Lucknow, we have been given GOLD NEW PLAN with the promise that we will get very high speed in internet but in use it was so normal we were not satisfied, it was so normal as BSNL NETONE, After some time Airtel Mktg. Executive Zeeshan Khalid visited us & promised us to migrate our plan into SPEED PLUS COMBO at 256 kbps (unlimited )broadband speed on Rs. 500/- charges . we changed the plan accordingly, Mr. Zeeshan have filled the form and given us Tarrif plan chart which shows Rs. 500/- for 256 speed, , but when we received bill it was for TOP UP plan again I have been cheated by mktg, executive . we have complaint for the same & Airtel Rishab Jain ([protected]) visited our office & received complaint letter on 21-12-05 .mr. Jain have also said that he will correct our plan, but it was not corrected again Airtel Ajay Dubey have visited our office and received complaint letter on 8-2-06, we have been informed that I will get speed 256 kbps @ 699 pm, I have accepted this since june 2006 than you have been charged Rs. 699/- +taxes but I have been cheated by Airtel marketing man again and again . Now I have come to know that we have been given 128 kbps speed
                    we are shocked to know that Airtel is selling plan in market for Rs. 599 with 128 kbps
                    speed & 100 calls free & they are charging to me Rs.699 with 128 kbps speed without any calls free,
                    whereas there is no such as 699 tarrif plan Airtel are selling .we feel cheated
                    by AIrtel I have complaint 3 times but Airtel not correcting speed 256 kpbs & adjusting my excess payment chared in 3 years
                    This is the third time it has happenned. Broad Band bill has not been delivered and out line blosked despite payment made immediately on telephonic intimation.But not without your customer care officials always insistent on confirmation of poayment made from the account/bank. Currently it has happenned for the bill for Sept./Oct for which details of cheque already cleared from my account on 30th Oct was made available to one Sh. Bharat Arya on customer care number today ( 05.11.2009 ).
                    But he retorted that the connection has been blocked as my account has not been updated for the payment. I wish I could also work for you ( of course honourary ) to also update payments made in my accounts or to improve the quality of service in customer care as also the communication access net work. There is now too often a noise/disturbance in the connection. You senior Executives need to visit the area ( Sarita Vihar )to see for themselves the detriorated quality of net work. Wires are loosely hanging all over in the lanes/back lanes of the colony. In such a situation quality of communication of such a net work can be very well imagined. Is this the " UNTOLD STORY " of BHARATI AIRTEL.
                    Pleas take deemed corrective steps to keep to keep going Untold Story of NO. 1 NET WORK of INDIA.
                    I do expect a word in acknoledgement lest this is also lined up in unresolved issues and need arises to post it for personal attention of your TOP MANAGEMENT.

When you want a new connection, Airtel dealers line up outside your house like ants but the minute you have a problem with that same connection, there is literally no one that cares about helping you..I'm so tired of calling the customer care over and over again and listening to their "it will be resolved in 24 hours" ...I have filed atleast 6 complaints about my broadband connection and its been over a month, still no help or solution! I'm not one to vent on public forums but their customer care is so unacceptable and useless, I highly recommend people look at other service providers if they have a choice.

                      I have this airtel postpaid connection on the name of rahul chaudhary, previously in the month of june'09 i paid all the billed n unbilled amt (approx 670 sumthing)in airtel gomti nagar,lucknow connect,submitted my id and address proof properly and they migrated my postpaid no. to prepaid on my name and address............Now after 4 months suddenly my fren rahul received the legal notice from airtel side asking him to pay another 1123/- amt saying that this is the due left to be paid or watever the story....................can u pls tell me that after paying all the dues they converted my no. to prepaid so hw come this legal notice raised...itz just bcoz the due negligence of the airtel gomti nagar staff that me and my fren is facing this major prob. my mob. no. is [protected](now on my name varsha singh).I want that strict action should be taken against all the airtel gomti nagar staff.

                          I have been using the BLACKBERRY SERVICES on my number : +91- [protected].

                          In the month of ARPIL, I made a request to change my Rs.899 Blackberry Plan to ANNUAL RENTAL PLAN i.e. Rs.6,999 + Service Tax,

                          for UNLIMITED BLACKBERRY SERVICES.

                          I have also paid the charges which you can check from your records in the Bill no.:[protected] dtd: 22nd MAY.

                          However, to my surprise, in the month of JUNE BILL, I FIND MY BLACKBERRY PLAN HAS BEEN CHANGED WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE TO Rs. 499 + TAX.

                          It is not known who authorized this change and why?

                          If I HAVE PAID ANNUAL RENTAL, WHY WOULD I ASK YOU FOR Rs499 PLAN?

                          AND, due to this change, which was never asked by me, I HAVE CHARGED Rs. 18,249 in bill no.[protected] dtd : 22nd JUNE.

                          I was traveling and could not check my bill and my payment being done thru' AMERICAN EXPRESS ECS, it went through.

                          Again, in the month of JULY, I have BLACKBERRY CHARGES : Rs.15,937.50 in bill no.[protected] dtd : 22nd JULY.


                          I Was trying to resolve the matter through your call centers.

                            I have taken an airtel postpaid connection here at Haridwar, at Uttaranchal. My number has not yet been activated, although as per the lady at the Help Desk at the Airtel office at Haridwar, the number has been activated. My husband has been there on 3 occasions for the same. On the last occasion, she said that the SIM Card is not ok, and thus, we would again have to submit our identity proofs so get a new SIM Card, for which we would have to make another trip.

                            It seems, from our experience that Airtel does not value its customers in any way. That the customer's time is not important, and that he/she may run around the airtel office for a complaint. Even a BSNL service would be better than this.

                            Airtel Postpaid Connection — Rude and services not provided

                            Dear All,



                            I would like to launch a complaint against following issues :



                            1. ISD services was deactivated without any prior notice on May 23, 2008.

                            2. I was on romaining I was asked to call on [protected] and I was promise a call back at 5:30 pm June 2, 2008.

                            3. On june 4, 2008 or or 5th I have spoken to Sunil at customercare and he also promised a call back within 24hrs which still date I haven't received. He provided the complaint number # 10395680.

                            4. Again today June 10, 2008 first I have spoken to Deepak he denied to connect the call to supervisor and disconnected the call. Second time when i called back again it took 30 mins to be connected to supervisor. When I provided the complaint number, I was suprised to know that ticket number provide to me was opended in Nov 2006. This number is only 14 months old.



                            NOW LET ME MORE SPECIFIC THAT I WILL NOT PAY THE BILL FOR THIS NUMBER. I NEED THE CALL BACK FROM YOU GUYS OTHER WISE I WOULD PUBLISH THIS IN MEDIA HOW AIRTEL FAKES THEIR CUSTOMER. THEY MAKE BIG PROMISE TO GET CUSTOMER AND ONCE PEOPLE IS TRAP THEY KNOW HOW TO ??????????????



                            I WOULD APPRECIATE IF SOMEONE RESPOSIBLE GET IN TOUCH WITIN 24 HRS.

                                Sir,

                                This is Airtel Prepaid customer holding cell number [protected]. I have recharged for an amount of Rs.2247 which is for making international calls for less cost. I have done this through e-recharge throught a retailer on 15 sept. After the recharge is done, I got a message saying E-Recharge is successful and also the trans-ID[protected]. I should actually get the PIN number in 48hrs of recharge but I dint get any. I called up customer care and logged the complaints 4 times till now,Every time I talk to the supervisor's they tell that I will be getting the PIN number in 24 hrs at the max 36hrs. Now this is the 15th day of my recharge and Im helpless. I called up every alternate day explaining the complaint to every customercare person and again to supervisor and in the mean while if the line gets cut then again explaining from begining :( which is not at all fair, they listen to my complaint and say that I will get the PIN in 1 day and cut the phone but no response till now. What should I do. I really getting bugged with what ever is happening. Please guide me to get the PIN number. Hope you look into my request

                                    I have been receiving calls for payments for fixed broadband connection provided by airtel. The consumer to whom the broadband has been provided has given my number as their contact point. Inspite of providing & informing Airtel legal department & customer service that I do not possess any kind of broadband with Airtel & to properly have this record updated but till date this has not been resolved.

                                    I have now started getting calls for making payments due on this connection.

                                    I would request you to please have this sorted immediately as I believe this broadband person is misusing my number & may indulging in malpractices.

                                      i had subscribed to airtel hello tune from the movie ghagini, kaise mujhe tum milgayee since last 15 days and suddenly all of sudden without any confirmation nor prior intimation my hello tune was changed to airtel hello tune.i received an sms from airtel on 6780 stating that my hello tune has been changed free of cost.but i had not made a request to change my hello tune. but even then my hello tune was changed.
                                      when i pointed out the error was from airtel and rectify it . the airtel executive changed and restored it to my original ghajini tune but in the process charged me Rs.15 for the song.
                                      when i brought it to airtel's notice they said that since i have changed my hello tune i will be charged again for the change in hello tune.

                                        I am a subscriber of airtel broadband service and have been an active user of the same for over couple of years. I have been facing some customer support problem / negligence since June'09. I have been requesting for Wi-Fi modem since June'09 and have been told time and again that wi-fi modem is out stock. I have also been assured that the modem will be changed whenever the new stock comes up. I have been calling up every 15 days to enquire and nothing is been done to address my request.

                                        I want to bring this to your notice that in the last 4 months Airtel Broadband new connections are made in my locality with wi-fi modem. As a matter of fact Airtel acquisition team by mistake had landed up at my residence for activation of new broadband connection with wi-fi. Also I had received sales call from Airtel for new broadband connection with wi-fi modem.

                                        Apart from that I have been calling up the customer care to change my current plan and every occassion your customer service exective failed to act due to system failure.

                                        I am comtemplating discontinuation of my Airtel broadband connection. Thought should write to consumer forum.

                                        Would appreciate an action.

                                        i need to have a WI-FI connection at my home, but the guys at customer care told me that they have stopped providing WI-FI devices to existing customers and i need to have a new connection from the scratch to have the facility of WI-FI from Airtel, or else i need to purchase a separate device from market and facilitate it of my own.
                                        is this the kind of customer caring at Airtel ?????
                                        Please respond to this querry as i am in need of a WI-FI facility at my home and i am sure lots of existing subscribers also have the same in their mind.
