Airtel — Sim blocked even i have handset with valid IMEI

Airtel — handset with valid imei has been blocked

MY HANSET IS MOTOROLA RAZR2 V8.I WAS ABLE TO KNOW THAT MY HANDSET HAS A VALID IMEI NUMBER WHEN I CHECKED THE SAME AT THE WEBSITE http://www.numberingplans.com/?page=analysis&sub=imeinr.BUT MY HANDSET HAS BEEN BLOCKED BY AIRTEL FROM TODAY.I COULD USE MY HANDSET WITH OTHER NETWORK CONNECTIONS.I REQUEST YOUR KIND ATTENTION ON THE SAME MATTER AND SOLVE THE PROBLEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

sir iam from vellore iam having a onida f850 handset i was informed my imei number is not valid so checked through sms confirming that my imei number is valid bu now on 1 st december it is showin the my sim is a invalid sim this what airtel is doing to earn money where the customer have to pay a sum of 199 i dont why the government is showing a path to the companies and cheaters like this operator like airtel and vodafone and the worst thing is that iam a retailer my mobile number is [protected] iam doing good transaction for this comapny and sim plan has been changed to the normal plan kinldy airtel person has to llok into such problems in vellore tamilnadu and more thing i have got a number [protected] the company person from airtel just they deactivated it and they have migrated this card and using it i have complained to the custer care and the officials but there is no use

Some of the motorola phones got blocked by airtel.Please contact customer care through mail.[protected]@airtelindia.com

I have the same model Motorola a similar phone and its been blocked too inspite of the IMEI being correct. I am not seeing any solution - Not sure who is responsible for the locking and where should this problem be redressed.
