[Resolved] Airtel — Airtel DTH Connection Installation - Reg
I am Kannan Raghupathy. I live in KK Nagar, Chennai Area. I applied for the Airtel DTH connection along with Airtel Broadband (Internet Connection) on 7th December 2009. I gave all the supporting documents including the ICICI Bank Cheque in the name of Bharti Airtel Ltd (Rs. 1000.00, Cheque No
050272 ) and Bharti Telemedia (Rs.999.00, Cheque No 050272).
I got my Broadband connection after following them for more than 8 days. But I am yet to get my Airtel DTH connection (Digital TV) and its been more than 20 days since my Cheque got cleared. When I called the Airtel Associate, I am not getting a proper response and they are also not ready to
communicate anything to me. I called them each every day to get my DTH connection but still no luck.
I have made two complaints (First one on 24th December '09 and the second one on 26th December 09) to the Airtel DTH customer care number and gave all my details. They said, they will get back to me
regarding this in 24 hours and still they haven't get back to me. And one more thing is they are not giving any complaint number also since I am not a registered customer with them (That's the reason I got from
customer care people).
The first complaint I made with the Supervisor named Praveen and the second complaint I made with
the Supervisor named Sri Hari. Both of them got all my information like my door number, cheque details and the Airtel Associate details.
The guy who took the application from me is not picking up my calls. The associate details are as follows:

The last response I got from those people was, my Cheque is cleared from my account but it is not reflecting in their CitiBank Account. How come? I have been talking to a guy called Moorthy (+[protected] for last 4 days who is working for Airtel and he is the one who gave me this kind of response
and yesterday he said that, he will make a complaint on behalf of me to the Airtel DTH and get the complaint number. He hasn't get back to me yet.
I don't know what to do in regard to this. Is this the way Airtel treat customers?
I would like someone to take severe action on the above mentioned associate as well as on the Airtel people. I am totally frustrated and exhausted after calling them each and every day with no result.
Please do the needful ASAP.
