[Resolved]  Airtel — Gprs Activation

Dear sir
i call many times to cutomer care for activation of gpfrs and APN Dial Up NO.But Nobody response to me.
plz take the action for the same

hi, my name is arvind my mobile number is [protected] from many days my customer care number is not connecting and i want to active my gprs & mobile office setting. i was tryed it tots of time by message to 54321 with mo but i also rejected
GPRS SERVICE WAS ACTIVATED IN MY MOBILE PHONE ON 02/08/2008. THE PLAN PROVIDED TO ME IS RS 249 WITH UNLIMITED DOWNLOADING. AT THE SAME TIME AIRTEL LIVE HAS ALSO BEEN ACTIVATED WITH NO MONTHLY RENTAL BUT DOWNLOADING COST OF 1.5 PAISA PER KB DOWNLOAD. I OBSERVED THAT SETTING OF AIRTEL LIVE DOWNLOADS AUTOMATICALLY AND SET ITSELF AS THE DEFAULT CONNECTION. ON 12/08/2008 I SENT REQUEST TO DEACTIVATED THE AIRTEL LIVE SERVICE. AFTERWARDS I FOUND THAT THAT BOTH HAVE BEEN DEACTIVATED. FROM 12/08/2008 ONWARDS I AM SENDING REQUESTON A REGULAR BASIS TO THE CUSTOMER CARE FOR ACTIVATING THE SERVICE BUT A VERY POOR RESPONSE HAS BEEN RECEIVED FROM THEIR SIDE. EVEN I WAS BEEN MISGUIDED BY INTIMATING THAT MY SERVICES HAVE BEEN ACTIVATED. TODAY IS 18/08/2008.
it is ridiculous that company such as u is irrevelant about customer.i have been to activate my gprs for whole month, but neither ur service is proper nor ur bothered about customers.ur customer care call centre is a full flopped service. they r not instrested to provide good service.u just want to increase the customer base but not the service. it is highly disgraced service for us

too many time but it's not activitated.

Dear sir, i have error message 734: PPP link protocol was terminated very often. I complaint to the customer care many times. Please take the regular measures to solve the problem.

I had buy a new nokia e71 five days before and send sms "my data" to 543210,reply came that your activation is in process within 24 hour but still that free plan is not activated.
plz solve his problem...

I received a massage on my mobile [protected] at 11:59 AM from Airtel i.e. " Thank you activating monthly GPRS Night pack Rs.95. You can enjoy 100MB during day and 2GB during night(12 am to 8 am). To deactivate dial *567*19#." Here i not press any or not using my mobile on this time, but i find this massage and deduct Rs.95 from my airtel balance account. When i talk to customer care they will provide a request reference number [protected]. and told me that we will give the actual information till 19 Jan 2010. I want to know that if any option will have to customer then first inform the customer and then ask for do or don't. But he do not give any information regarding this and not solve within 48 -72 hours which is government rule. If i have my airtel balance for my emergency talk to with my family, then who will responsible if i am not able to communicate with my family or emergency work. This is truly illegal.
Please consider my problem.

I sent a request 4 days ago to Airtel to activate the new GPRS data plan which promises unlimited surfing and 2 GB download at Rs. 98 per month. I regret to say that the said service has not been functioning even though Airtel execs tell me it is. I have put my sim in numerous phones...saved their setting...did manual settings...everything to get the GPRS to work but to no avail and all this while Airtel (121) keeps telling me that there is no problem from their end and asked me to go to their relationship centre to get the problem fixed. I went there yesterday and the execs there simply refused to help saying that it is not their job and in between i have received numerous messages from Airtel which sometimes say that my GPRS is activated and sometimes say that it is stopped. It has driven me mad to the point that now I do not even know if it is activated from their end. Also, they stopped transferring my phone calls to their execs(i dont know how they do this). It is really frustrating when these kind of things happen to genuine customers.

I have made up my mind to not let go Airtel easily with all this. I am preparing a good case against Airtel and will file it in the consumer court as soon as I have finished drafting the complaint.

Hi Sir,

I am using the airtel prepaid sim card, one by suddenly my mobile displays the symbol G in the top of my mobile from that day onwards i am unable to receive my incoming calls, when i place any other sim card in the mobile my phone is working fine, even i have tried with other airtel sim it is working fine, i am facing this problem only with my sim card i have return lot of mails to airtel people and i have also made calls to customer care in the mail communication the airtel people told me that your GPRS is deactivated but the same problem i am facing
