[Resolved]  Airtel Friends Chat — without my permission cutting amount in my mobile rs.30 to friends chat

hai friends i am bala frm tuticorin...i am a looking for a life time friends.. to know more about me, sms me at any time .. my mobile no:[protected]

Airtel — Friendschat

Airtel has activated this so called friendschat service without my consent, and now i am getting troubled because of calls from this service that come every night around 12-2 am!!!
All calls to customer service are put on hold but no action is being taken even after repeated attempts.

i have been using Airtel no. for 3 year, nearly. On 16-12-09 at 4.10 p.m., with out my consent airtel people gave me the dial no.543216". In this regard a message arrived from 543216. And Rs.30 had been cut from my balance. Thay give me an (Friendz Chat) ID i.e.[protected].
Is this the way to behave with the customers? I don't want this friends Chat. My mobile no is [protected] So please see that deactivate this friends chat and not to cut my balance further for friends chat.

I, m a airtel pre-paid customer in past 5 years.

now, 3 months airtel to start friends chat without my permission to my mobile number.
i'm recharge some amount suddenly to cut a amount to friends chat and jokes and other charges debited in my pre-paid scheme.
so, i don't want to other chargable services in strictly.

This is informing you that i had problem with Airtel friends chat. I dont know anything about Airtel friends chat. I use to get call and messages. But i couldn't hear that call and not able to answering the call. For this reason i was losing my money unnecessarily. Please consider my complaint and give a solution.

Airtel is truly becoming a thief.

On 26 Dec I received a message stating Airtel Friends chat is activated on my number. Rs 30/month is also charged from my balance.

It also stated that to cancel subscription call 543216. I called this number (which is not toll free. you are charged for calling on this number.) but was unable to find how to unsubscribe.

Then I called 121 and the customer care told me that I subscribed to this service by calling 543216. That did not understand that I called 543216 in because I wanted to unsubscribe as the servvice was activated without my request.

Also they are unwilling to return my Rs 30.

I hope TRAI takes notice of such malpractices of Airtel. What a thief company.

Airtel — Sending cricket alerts and friends chat without my concern

I have not given any concernt to airtel for sending sms on cricket alerts and friends chat. But they are deducting Rs.3/- on the day of cricket match and deducted Rs.30/- for friends chat. Various requests made by me to the customer care number 121 were in vain. They are giving some evasing replies but are not considering my requests to stop cricket alerts and friends chat. Please instruct them strictly to stop sending the above alerts immediately. Otherwise i will have to dispense with their network connection and to select some other GOOD network which is not giving such unnecessary troubles. Expecting your immediate action.
