i am the holder of connection from airtel mobile number [protected] and i being being charged rs.10/- per day for the services which i never got activated. i daily receive a message from the company like this "thanks for using (subscription, textbased services)subscription service on Airtel WAP. you'hve been charged Rs.10/-.Enter Fun Zone http.//igmobi.com.
I have five time lodged a complaint on the airtel service number 121 and they assured me that this will be got deactivated within24 hours . but nothing has been done so far. there are number of customer like this being exploited daily. please help us into the matter, thanks

    Plz. Cancel my subscription to your site which was activated unintentionally by me. I ( Mobile No. [protected]) send so many messages (CSUB TO 57886) to you but of no use. So kindly take immediate steps to cancel my subscription.I also request you to refund my Rs. 30/- for deducting from account without permission for non use of your service as I am using a non supported gprs mobile (model no.1650 NOKIA).
    Other Friends do not enter into the Mozook Fun Club. There are no instructions or conditions to activate this subscription. You will lose Rs. 10/- daily without any sms to you That is FUN Club. If you want to unsubscribe enter into mozook site n go down to click customer support. Then unsubscribe as directed by.

    I am not downloading single thing from mazzok.com but your reducing Rs.10 per day from 5-1-2009.

      i am in kerala .my cousin came from bangalore.and recharged rs 100 as flexi.but the amount was not credited to his number.the number is [protected].we contacted the customer care.but there was no response.kindly take neccessary action

      i lost my mobile 2 months ago, which had validity up to march 2008. after 2 months i filed a complaint about it and made sim of same number [protected], but now problem had arised, no recharge plan had been successful so far and they are not showing me as a prepaid customer . ARC says that the number has been deleted and it will be in operation after 6 months which is a very long span of time, i request company to provide me service on my number [protected] as quickly as they can.

      I have recharged the above mob no: for the amount Rs222.000 full talk time on 21.11.08 and i have recieved the msg "RECHARGE SUCESSFUL ON 21.11.08 AT 6 PM TALK TIME RS 0.10 MRP RS 222.00 TRANS ID[protected] now send voice sms just dial *9xxxxxxx" but after that i checked the balance (*123#) its showing balance is rs 1.99.

      after this today (23.11.08) also i recharged for the same mob no for the amount Rs222.000 full talk time and i have recieved the msg "RECHARGE SUCESSFUL ON 23.11.08 AT 8:59am TALK TIME RS 0.10 MRP RS 222.00 TRANS ID 60653501 now send voice sms just dial *9xxxxxxx" but after that i checked the balance (*123#) its showing balance is rs 1.99.

      I TRIED TO CALL THE CUSTOMER CARE 121 AND THERE IS SOME EROOR SO FROM 22/11/08 9:30 TO 23/11/08 AFTERNOON 3PM
      CUSTOMER CARE IS NOT WORKING, BCSE OF THAT IAM SENDING THIS MAIL...SO PLEASE DO THE NECESSARY ACTION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND RECHARGE MY NO WITGH A TOTAL AMOUNT OF RS.444..

        I have activated Airtel’s Net on Phone (NOP) service on my mobile since last month. I have been told that this includes 150 monthly rental with no charge for surfing and downloading except Airtel Live. At the end of month, I am charged with all the surfing I did on the Kbyte basis and billed around 4000.

        When inquired, they are saying that access was done thro Airtel Live (WAP_ALL) service and not thro NOP (AirtelWap). I, as an end user won’t understand which service is used to connect internet in background and why NOP is not used (It’s selected by default in my cell). According to them, Airtel Live comes on title bar when accessed but I cant see anything like that in Opera mini or my default browser.

        This is a straight case of cheat and I am completely confused what to do next as I even contacted Nodal officer without fruitful results.

        Any inputs will be appreciated.
        I am facing the same problem. Please do let me know how you handled this and can I claim my money back.

        I am now facing the same problem with Airtel . My GPRS charges never exceeded 150 Rs. per month for the last one year . This month it has come Rs. 3634 and is itemised under WAP_ALL. I have approached Cusromer care Executives as also Nodal Officer of Airtel about the details . They only say it is loaded thru my mobile and that is all they can say and no other information can be given. I do not accept this as no service provider can have this attitude. They have to bill us correct and fair. Amazingly Airtel is charging us to talk to their customer care Executive for the problem created by them . These kind of business group can survive here in our country only - hopefully not long..

        Even I too have same issue. I have been using GPRS Rs. 98/ for the last 7-8 months. I have separate icons " Airtel Live" and "Web" on my Nokia set.
        I usually connect internet thru "Web" never used "airtel live" yet I got bill as I have used Airtel live. I checked with customer care aske for waiver else I am planning to file complain on consumer complaint portal.

        same problem is with my bill. it has charge me 859.20 rupees under wap_all. when i contacted customer care it kept me busy 4 more than 25 minutes without any information.
        airtel has done the same to me.they charged 1146 rupees for internet usage although i had got 2gb plan.the customer care exe told me i have used airtel live as access point.i know it is almost use less to write this all here but at least now i know that i am not alone.
        i have the same problem too... called CC and dint get any help :( they changed me 700 just for wap_all ) my reg mob bill never crossed 600-700 and only internet is 700 now .. can some one from Airtel do something about this

            it is long story but i will cut it short i had applied for airtel broad band connection on 14 jan 09 and i paid Rs.300 cash to Mr Rakesh kumar contact no.[protected] and Mr.rohit kumar contact no.[protected] and i was assured that my internet connection would take place with in three days.after my several telephonic request the gave me my cash receipt ...receipt no is 499348 SEF NO.518537.
            it is very disgusting that nothing had happened so far..my projects are getting delayed by every passing day.now they are not picking up my calls also.i will very ...

              I am using airtel dada card, which is given to me by my company Jungle Lodges & Reosrts Ltd.The data card number is [protected] . I got this card in Nov since i got i have been facing s problem that it gets disconnected in every 5 mins or so i have to take it out or else restart my laptop again. Since then i have been in touch with airtel consumer people like Ms, Simran, Mr.Ravi, Ms Meeta, Mr Kulwant and many more. At the start they said we will look into the matter and gave me a complaint number 19326153 and said they will be calling me back but they dint do so, Then i called them they gave me a service centre address i went there and got it checked he reinstalled another software which worked for half an hour there but after that again it gave me the same problem. Minewhile it was Dec and they realised that this problem cannot be resolved so they told methat they will replace it by USB but since then i am waiting for my replacement and dint get yet its end of Jan now.
              my problem is not yet solved???? and i am not being able to use my corporate data card which is making my job so complicated.i told them that i will file a compliant in Consumer court and they simply said your wish.. i never expected it from Airtel.

              All my office Airtel data cards are having same issue and need to replaced .
              facing problam with the data card some modem problam please send some one to repair

                i would like to drove kind attention of M/s bharti airtel that their bhiwandi city relationship center is a palace of scam . even the executives behave there like they are the don of the city. last month
                my card had been blocked and i visited the center for a new one but they asked for the document and i provided them so, (being an airtel user for last consecutive four years ) but then then also they were not providing me a new sim, when i insisted on it they started to fight with me. the next day i again went there as i had no option to retrieve
                my cellular service back, there were two person named nirav shah & sandeep patel were sitting idle talking on their mobile for an hour then after a hour and a half they provided me a sim.
                i would like to ask airtel services that is this kind of service they are providing and is this kind of employes are maintained by airtel??

                  I am being charged everyday by airtel wap Rs. 10 via sms from 64611010 while I am not using that service at all. i request to deactivate that service immediately from my mobile [protected].

                    Resp.Sir,

                    I, Ramloganathan, using Airtel Prepaid connection (Mob:No:[protected]) in Maharashtra State. Last 11th January 2009, evening 06:32P:M, I received one message from Airtel that "Your monthly subscription of Airtel FriendzChat hasbeen renewed for Rs25 " and the same time Rs25 deducted from my account. But till now, I'm not activated/use that facility. So immediately I contact the customer care and enquired about this. Then after they assured me to refund my amount within 4hrs, and this 25Rs was automatically credited into my account.

                    After that 25th January 2009 night 9:00PM, I got the same msg and again 25Rs deducted from my account. This time also I contact the customer care but they told "You are not deactivate" this facility. so the amount deducted. It will not be refund.

                    My question is "If one person want to deactivate such facility, before that if he activate it". But One person not using/activate such facility, How can he deactivate?

                    Can Airtel give explanation regarding this matter?

                    Airtel is in serious trouble. They did the same with my mothers connection. I activated Rs 51 SMS pack vaild for 30 days for 500 local SMS on 27th july 2009 on her mobile. I came outside India after that.

                    My mother while sending SMS on 1st August realised that balance of 1 rs per SMS are getting deducted. She told me the same and I immidiately emailed airtel on the same. They replied that you have not activated the service ???????? Then I send them transaction ID, date time of the eRecharge an dtold them that I have the SMS with me with recharge confirmation. In this process 2 days went.

                    Then on 3rd August they activated the service, but they did not refunded the deducted balance. I sending so many communication after that and each time they are sending sincere apology ans stating that they are looking into the matter and would get back by xx date. Then as usual no reply. Re-sending complaint again one more date .. tarikh pe tarikh.

                    I need compensation for this harrasment and refund of all expenses I have to incur due to this peculiar behaviour from Airtel. Please suggest
                    Airtel is in WORST CONNECTION IN WORLD. They did the same with my FATHER connection

                    I am suffering from unused balanced didution of my cell no [protected] from last 4 month .i several time compliant in customer care but they did not d activate net from my cell on 25 july my phone balance is 134 rs & on 26 july morning only 8 rs in my cell on 27 eve there is 1.84 rs and on 28 morning there is -3.86 paisa in my cell.I Regular contact with customer care on 27 eve they told me that ur money will be reembrese on 29 july eve 6 pm but on 28 july i received a call on airtel that my rs not rembrese to me i again call cm care at 6.30 they give another no which is 12118 i talk to punit on this no he says that we used the net but on 25 & 26 there is no body at home & how can it possible that without any person net will used but they refuse to give me the detail on net using & regulary ssys that we used a net says talk to customer care but i am really very tried to call in customer care last month no action will be taken and he refused to pay the amount

                    Kindly Return my amount sum of rs 150.After all of this the deducted amount on my cell but there is no amount in my cell and the account show in minus.how can i used a any service from airtel because there is no amount in my cell but they deducted the amount

As per him AirTel has 5 Lac customer and they are charging Rs. 15 for such message means they are cheating with customer and earning Rs. 3 Crore per month by this way only. I have complained on customer service on phone as well as in written through email. every time they says sorry we will credit this amount to your next bill.
                      But what about customer who is not complaining? That is charity by cheating to AirTel from Customers.

                      Value of my one minute is Rs.6 and every month I have spend time to get credit of such wrong billing. They never consider value of time of customers and mental harrisment.

                        i ve taken the airtel group connection plan five month back, my monthly bill comes arount 750rs, when i ve taken the plan company took the security of Rs 500 but my couligues had paid only 250Rs more over in my plan my std charges are 1.25Rs/min whereas others are paying 1Rs/Min for Std charges.
                        Moreover company has insured me that my 500Rs security they ll refund me by first two bills, but its not happened.
                        kindly change my std charges from 1.25/min to 1rs/min.

                          To Whomever it may concern:

                          This is regarding several communication i had with airtel representatives. I was on tour to thailand and Phillippines during 12th November to 4th December. When I came back it was told to me by one male airtel staff that my bill is around Rs. 53000. He also mentioned me that the total incoming calls received were around 260 to 270 and total timing duration in Thailand was around 8 hour. I was very much astonished with that call. I was surprised how can it happen.

                          I checked my bill there is very much descrepency regarding the calls I received. Many of the calls i received only for one time during the whole day but it was given in bill that i received the same call 5 to 10 times during the whole day. There are other several things which were under my dis-satisfaction. I received the call from the same male representative again. At that time I asked for these several explaination. Before answering and giving clarification the call was disconnected. This happened many times. After this I called to the same number from my landline number and asked what is the problem when i ask for the clarification why the call is getting disconnected again and again. He was having no answer. He also mentioned that my credit limit is Rs. 15000. Then I asked when my credit limit is Rs. 15000 how can the bill be raised to Rs. 53000. He was not able to answer this also. I can trace the mobile number on which I spoke regarding this and recall the name of male representative also.

                          I have been travelling to many many countries for last several years. I have been to Europe, Gulf, UK and other Asian countries for several times. I know the duration of stay in these countries and calls made during that period. All the time bill was not exceeding Rs. 20000. Initially I was not taking the local mobile number of the country where I am travelling but after some time I started taking the SIM CARD of the visiting country. Due to this the bills started reducing. I am sure by my vast experience that this much huge amount bill cannot come by any means whatever has happened. I am very much sure about this. I asked several of my friends who have been travelling with me and during my visit to several countries. They are all very much surprised to listen that I got this much amount of bill raised from Airtel. They all suggested me to go to consumer court and media.

                          I called airtel customer care on 6th January and Spoke with Ms. Nutan. The complain number 20101171. Duriing the discussion Nutan also cleared me that my credit limit was Rs. 15000. I complaint to her regarding following: -

                          1. When my credit limit is Rs. 15000 then what was the interest of Airtel to raise the bill till Rs. 53000.
                          2. According to me the total duration of my call from thailand only about 1 hour or near to that but according to Nutan it was around 8 hour. I asked for explaination regarding that also
                          3. There is some mistake in the Sim Card or may be a technical problem by which my call is getting disconnected even before i can listen anything from anybody. This happens many times during the international visits
                          4. There were several calls from Airtel landline staff regarding my landline bill payment of someother things. I asked these person not to call me again becoz i am on international roaming but they did not listen to it. At onetime I even abused due to this harrassment. But I got it repeatatively call from Airtel landline...a big harrassment to me.
                          5. I do not agree to the bill raised up to Rs. 53000 by any means whatever is the justification because i have studied my bills of my travelling to the same and other countries several times and came to the conclusion that this bill cannot be accepted by any means.
                          6. I also complaint regarding communication with male representative and call disconnection with that person.

                          She told me that your querry will be answered within 48 hours. But up to today 19th of January i did not get any call from any representative of Airtel. I even asked her to send a senior executive to me personally to meet me and discuss but I did not get any call and nobody came to meet me.

                          Today I called to Airtel customer care again. First person was Ms. Mini Roy. I complaint regarding harrassment being done to me and same things I discussed with her as with Ms. Nutan. She checked and then she clarified that there was miscommunication regarding my credit limit by Ms. Nutan. This is really disgusting. She also told me there was call from airtel on my mobile and other attached mobile but nobody was answering the call. This is totally wrong. I asked for the complaint number from Ms. Mini many times but before she can give the complaint number the call was disconnected again. (may be deliberatvely)

                          After this I tried to speak with Ms. Manju...She also could not give me complaint number and the call was disconnected.

                          After this I spoke with Mr. Sandeep. This time the airtel person was well prepared to tackle me in the way a professional company should do to avoid the complaint and to harrass the person. He discussed with me the problems and inspite of my several request he was not ready to give me complaint number. He also told me that my earlier complaint is removed because of no answer by me and my other attached mobile. This is surely done deliberately. After spending so much time I got sms from Airtel my total charges are Rs. 55000 which is nearing my credit limit of Rs. 61000. This is also deliberate method of tackling the customer who complaint on the date 6th January 2009 and asked the question that why my bill is raised to Rs. 53000. This is a case of fraud and 420.

                          Again with Mr. Sandeep the calls were getting disconnected. Mr. Sandeep mentioned that there may be some problem in the Sim card due to which calls are getting disconnected. There can be some technical problem of airtel also he mentioned. I requested him several times to give me complaint number but he was not ready to attend me properly and avoiding deliberately. He was tackling me very smoothly to defend the parts of airtel. He even told that if he finds my complaint feasible then only he will lodge the complaint and give me complaint number.

                          I have recorded all the communication with him and other due to harrassment to me. I even called one Consumer complaint NGO representative to witness what airtel persons are telling and avoiding the complaint. Mr. Sandeep called back after some time (may be after negotiating the things with airtel higher staff) at this time representative from NGO received the call and then he told her that he now wants to give the complaint number.

                          He ultimately given me complaint number and that is 20297446 on 19th Jan. 2009 and this will be attended till 22nd Jan. 2009. He also clarified and taken my point that after so much harrassment to me he will write in the complaint that some senior staff from higher authority should visit me personally and sort out the dispute matter which now firing with all fuels.

                          I should tell you that this is disgusting and very big harrassment to me by airtel. I had problems with airtel regarding my charges many times but all the time it was small amount. But It is true that all the time I was dis-satisfied with airtel charges. This is causing harrassment and problems to me.

                          Whenever a bill come to me even for amount Rs. 5000 my call is getting barred immediately after non payment of bill and message comes to me. This was being done for last 7 or 8 years. I have record with me. But this time this was not barred deliberately and one message is sent to me surprisingly telling that my charges are Rs. 55000 which is nearing my credit limit Rs. 61000. First time this has happened in the history of airtel mobile with me. I can see the reason behind this...why it can happen now when it has not happened in the past at any time.

                          Finally I conclude that day by day by the government policy and other means the charges are reducing. I can assume that the bill came when i travelled to Europe in 2006 and bill when i travelled to same place in 2009 will be having significant difference to the level of charges and its tarrif plan. I cannot accept the wrong charges indicted on me by airtel which is by all means wrong. Also all the above communication suggest that big harrassment is being done on me for last 45 days or more.

                          Still I am looking forward for sorting it out but only with senior staff. Who can sit with me accross the table and come to reasonable justice at that time itself.

                          The Roaming network charges you and in some countries even missed calls and incoming SMS are charged
                          Missed calls are charged for the CLIP service. i.e; for showing you the caller Identity
                          All Intl roaming Bills are charged in USD or in Euros which when converted to indian Currency makes a Big Amount . Bills are charged according to the document AA14 (Global Roaming, GSM Association)
                          Finally the foreign network passes a bill to home network and then our home network charges an additional 10-15% of the total bill. This is how the Roaming Works

                          As i told earlier bills are generated within a period by the foreign operator .this can be weekly or monthy
                          During roaming Home network MSC doesnt know your bills or your status. Of a sudden they get the foreign bill and they charge you. This has no relation with credit limit. But Yes one thing i agree...They should Inform the customers the billing standards and policies while roaming

                          Airtel — Incorrect International Call Charges and Network Problem

                          Hi

                          I am Swati. I have complained about the incorrect international call charges to Airtel but I did not get any resolution yet. I have activated Rs. 27 Pack for reducing Internatioinal call charges from Rs. 6.40 to Rs.1.99. But still they are charging me wrongly.

                          I had made first complaint about this to Airtel on April 9, 2010. But till now I did not get any resolution.

                          Still my account is charging incorrectly. Yesterday (on May 4, 2010), I had call to USA for 19 minutes. The charge should be deducted Rs.38.00 (approx.). But my account was charged Rs,45.55 for this call.

                          Also we are facing problems while connecting to the customer solutions. If I have contacted customer solution one time in a day, it will not connect again.

                          One more thing, I am facing the network problem at my home but no solution. Can I get any help, please let me know at [protected]@gmail.com
                          I had faced a similar problem with my International roaming activated through Airtel App. The plan says 1499 for 10 days incoming free and outgoing restricted to 250 minutes. But to my surpraise when i receive the bill they charged 499 per day for 7 days of my stay which is around Inr 3500 Plus tax and some data charge of 260 plus my normal monthly rates.

                          What surpaised me is the service of Airtel where there representative is eager only to get the money and not hearing to customer problem and this is a complete mistake from there end but pass the bug to customer
                          Complete unprofessional in handling the case and overcharging the customer

I raised to your executive on 1st week of June and they accepted it a technical error in system that it had taken 499 per day for 7 days and it calculates to 3500 plus tax also there is a charge of 260 in the bill all adding up to 4440. Again on 9th I went to chrompet customer care centre they too acknowledge that's it's a technical error and they spoke in front of me and assured it will be resolved before 14th which happen to be my due date.

                              I have worked for Star vijay television 2001 to 2007.I got a personal airtel connection during 2003 november.till date i pay for the connection.They included my number in their cug plan without my permission.After i left vijay tv(2007 february) i requested them in person to exclude my number from their cug plan.but they refused to give me a non-objection certificate to change my connection plan. till date they illegally hold possession on my number in their cug system.Kindly exclude my number from the Vijay television's cug plan (Rs425) and change to power talk 199 plan. kindly restrore the connection as my personal connection.

                                i am not able to send SMS & sms setting also not working its showing sim card is busy.
                                i am facing this problem from last 4 days.
                                no out going service for my sim. it has suddenly with out any intention. i called to the customer care about this problem but, they told that its an network problem madam and it will work after 11hr. until now its not working. am calling for the customer care but no use, its not connecting its just suggesting me a no. *121# thats it. whats the use of suggesting me that no.

                                  This is regarding wrong billing by Airtel (Ghaziabad).
                                  I have a landline no[protected] at Shipra mall, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, registered with the name of Knight Frank .The previous bill of month Nov 08 was of Rs 3387 in which waiver of Rs 420 was given .After the payment of the previous bill, the waived amount is again shown as payable in the current bill of Rs2056.

                                  BE CAREFUL: DONT GET AIRTEL DIGITAL TV FOR UR HOMES

                                  The assurances of a better service have not yielded any result. Airtel service remains still very poor, and your BOMABY CALL CENTER executives looks really un trained. From the way they respond, it reflects that they dont even know their own processes.
                                  I got DIGITAL TV installed in my house on 4th January. Even though AIRTEL offered the most expensive package compared to its competitors, I still went for it because I thought of a better Customer Service from AIRTEL.
                                  My Customer Id is : [protected]
                                  The account is in the name of Mr.Mohan Bandanwal (my father) and the registered mobile number is [protected].
                                  The problem for which i am troubled is that I rechaged my account with the vouchers i recieved in the Digital TV Package. All the vouchers except one is recharged into my account. I recharged the voucher No. [protected] (Rs.500) on 5th january 2009, but i never got the confirmation message or the money credited into my account.
                                  Regarding this problem I tried to call the customer care [protected] several times. The experience has been really bad.
                                  # I cant contact them on saturdays and sundays, the calls are diverted to SALES deptt which askes me to try later.
                                  #Sometimes when i do talk to someone, it takes 30 mins just to get the request logged in your systems.
                                  # When i call again to know the status of the Service Request, the guy asks me the same questions again and keeps me busy for 30 mins, but with no information.
                                  I got the SR no. 488567 on 9th January 2009. They said that the issue will be resolved on 14th Jan.
                                  I called on 13th January 2008, talked to Mr.Bhola at 9:50 pm. The person kept me online for 40 minutes without yielding any result. He was totally clueless and sounded like a jerk. I finally had to hang up after 40 mins.
                                  I called again today morning, and the new information i have recieved is that previous SR is closed, no resolution info, and another SR is open i.e. 492282. the resolution shall be made on 19 jan as per your people. Today I talked to Mr.Ramana who asked me the same questions that all your executived asked me on previous occasions.

                                  Anyways, its not about the Rs.500 that i am really worried about, but i am deeply dissappointed by AIRTEL. We in our family are using Airtel Services in various forms, but now the AIRTEL image in deeply tarnished. Either your manpower is not trained, or the data base or the computing systems are obsolete.
                                  I will be waiting till 19th January. Hopefully the issue will be resolved till then, or else I will have to figure out some more means.

                                    I am useing a airtel prepain no for more than 4 years and I am having a friends plan in which if you make a call to any airtel no.between 3:00 - 5:00 pm and 10:00 to 8:00 pm it charges 0.10 paise/min. The issue is this sometimes tmes they charge me 1rs/min. I called to customercare for this why it is happening the told me the timeing is changed it is to 11:00 PM without any prior notice. The another issue is this on 26th I made a call on an airtel no at 3:25pm and talked 16:34 mints and the chareges deducted from my a/c was Rs 8.90. I called to customercare and told the problem he replied me that I made the call at 2:52 pm. Thats why the charges are Rs. 8.90. I can still see that I made a call at 3:25 pm even if you want i'll send the screenshort of my mobile. It can't possible that the time difference would be 32mins. as I mentioned above I mentioned above i called at 3:25 an d in airtel's records it is 2:52. Even I asked him on that day the last call I made was what time in airtel's record. the no I dailed last was [protected] at 8:33 and it was 7:54 in their(airtel) record. after 15mints I called to customercareat 8:48 pm.
                                    Now the main issue is this the time they are showing is wrong and even they have refunded me balance in month of december. You can check in the records but it is not possible for me to check again n again after making the call that what is airtel charging to me. It's a strait away fraud airtel is doing with me. If I will catch them they refund me or else you understand. So I want airtel to refund my money back and don't harash me by doing such type of fraud. If you want I can send the screen short of my mobile phone with the timing I dialed on above mentioned nos. Please revert me back and I am also sending a mail to Airtel.

                                      On 09 Oct 2009 I sent following complaint to Airtel

                                      On my request my post paid mobile connection No.[protected] was deactivated on 04 june 2008. While submitting my request for termination I requested to refund the amount of security deposit etc and send the cheque at my address as given below.

                                      Dear Sirs,
                                      I fail to understand as to why my mobile number was disconnected wef 22 July 2008 when I had submitted written request for disconnection on 04 June 2008. There is no logical explanation for a delay of over 48 days. Secondly in my letter I had requested for sending the refund amount to my new address. In fact one of the reasons for getting the mobile disconnected was your failure to update my billing address despite atleast six requests and despite repeated assurances by your customer care executives. Thirdly the security deposit at the time of disconnection was Rs. 1200, if I remember correctly, and not Rs. 500. Fourthly I have not received any refund as yet. Cheque/DD if any sent to my old address must have been received back by you or it might have been lost in transit. You may like to check with your courier. In the end may I request you to look into the case in a serious & objective manner and arrange to refund the security deposit to my new address as given in my application for disconnection as well as my earlier mail.

                                      The company has ignored my submissions.
