hi ...i m having very different problem mates...wen i use my airtem sim card in my handset ( has 2 SENDING PROFILES in its message settings) it doesnt send any message and i M able to recieve msgs...but wen i use a different handset( it has only ONE sending profile menu in the message settings) with the same simcard it all works fine...also i get a msg wen i switch ON my mobile .it says M...MESSAGE SENDING FAILED:4001... .plizzzzzzzzzzzzzz help...
I got the airtel prepaid([protected]) on 9-feb-2009 in pune and from that day i have problem to send sms(local and national).i called to customercare also but they did'nt do anything.they always say "we will solve out in 24 hours"but it' has been 24 days.i have'nt gotten the solution.please help me out to get rid of this problem
I am facing same problem with message sending.
These peoples are never intersted in solving the problems of customers.
They are just intersted in sending unnecessory messages, activating several services with out informing to us and lot others by which they can make lot money.
I am a user of Airtel since last six years but now I havde decided to quite with it..
If we call on 121 for any support, insted of asking for customer problems they throw a pre recorded advertisement of there plans. bludy who can tell them that the 121 is support number it is not a medium of your advertisement.
Ideally 121 number must be used only for customer support not for your prerecorded advertisement.
due to that it will take 9-10 mins for placing a simple complaint... This clearly shows that company is not intrested in solving the customers problem but only in advertisement.

I have airtel sim card, which i mostly use it for sending messages from my data card. from 1 week i am facing a typical issue with this. The day I recharge with some pack, it works well, but the next day message gets failed. This happens in my data card, although in handset the messages are going fine. And I do maintain minimum balance in my account. Please tell me the solution for this, if possible you can call me to [protected]
Don't waste your time for the customer care persons, they will not respond properly.
I have find a solution for this, Find the service center number and update it in your mobile..
You can find the service center number directly in the message settings, if not fallow the below steps
Take your friends phone (Android) with the same operator as yours
Dail *#*#4636#*#*
Then Click on Phone information
Scroll down
Click on update button
you will see the service center phone number there..
Now update the service center number in your mobile with this number including +91
It will surely work..

Why failed sending to msgs in my mobile phone to others mobiles.plz tell me reason.
Hi, This is Mohamed Nizamuddin and my number is [protected]. Iam using airtel since 2013 And few days back I lost my sim and I went to airtel outlet and I got another sim with thw same number. Now the problem is I am not able to send or receive SMS. Pls solve my problem ASAP.
