[Resolved]  Airtel / Postpaid Mobile Bill — unauthorised Monthly rental Plan changed

Without my permission Airtel changed my postpaid monthly rental plans from 249 to 599.

I always enquire my total bill amount by sending SMS to Bill enquiry.And pay the bill amount accordingly.
I suspected some mishap when suddenly my bill amount increased to very high amount.
I came to know about Monthly rental plan change recently when I SMS about my current bill plan.

I had a talk with Airtel Customer Care people and they said my plan got changed on 13 December 2007.
They said I had sent a mail to change my Montly rental plan, but I haven't sent any mail to them.

mobile connection — bill mishap

Dear Sir/madam,
i am your customer using mobile with airtel connection(phone no. [protected]).I have not recieved the bill for last month yet and have been contacted by several airtel service people on a daily basis over the last 2 weeks.Each time i have asked them to send the bill without effect.today one of the airtel service men said they would block outgoing calls from this no. which is outrageous when they have not sent the bill. however,the amount has been remitted going by what amount that person said but i would like prompt billing sending and better servi ce.

Kindly refer to your claim of outstanding of Rs.1, 00, 046.62/-. In this regard, I am to state as under:

I went to Malaysia on official tour on 21.11.2007 and returned on 24.11.2007. While I was abroad, I lost my mobile phone (lost/missing). On coming back to India, I logged in on this matter, but your office is refusing to accept it.

Since I was no longer in possession of the said mobile instrument, it is logical to understand that I have not used the phone. Therefore, whatever charges levied are not payable by me. My office has already paid a sum of Rs.47, 377/- for the Bill No.[protected], date 03/01/2008. Thus, there is already an excess payment with you.

Under the circumstances as explained above, we are not liable to pay the so called outstanding claim of Rs.1, 00, 046.62/-.

You would appreciate that we have been most regular in payment of bills and we are having so many Airtel accounts for our VGP Group. We do not want this should be affected. There is no problem or dispute in payment of bills with regard to any other account. In this case, it is only because the instrument is lost and we also intimated the same by logging in.

Please look into the matter and confirm that we have nothing outstanding to pay other than what is legitimate.

my concern is and i was charged from my savings account after disconnection.which is illegal and airtel is well known for such illlegal bgillings so all my friends are switching to otherservice providers

i have cmplained many times to u regarding this so now i just want all the money with intrest to be returned to the same account within a week else i will go to consumer coart and you will bear a serious consiquence

I was using the ISD facility for few months since I had to call up abroad quite often. The charges that were levied had always exceeded than the actual. To track my bill amounts i usually recieved a daily sms. There had been times when there was no calls made for the day but the smsbill will reflect and added amount which used to be a minimum of 200-500 or even more. On lodging complaints at the customer care - the CC executives cdnt help as they told me to wait till the next bill gets generated. By the time the bill got generated the mobile expense shooted to 12K. This went on generating till next 2 mnths and nw the total outstanding is 17K. This is crazy and i find no reason to pay this amount as this was never my usage. I have migrated abroad but my friends and family keep getting fake/ threathening and abusive calls from Bharti Airtel - this is simply no way to deal with a customer.

If my previous records were to be checked - i have never delayed any payments and have been a loyal cutomer with Airtel. But i guess instead of having an advantage of making payments on time, Airtel seems to be taking advantage of it.

If those abusive call continues to come then I might have to lodge a complaint at the customer court and demand a heavy compensation for mental harrasment and breach of privacy. Airtel has no rights whatsoever to make abusive calls out of the bill details of an individual.

Please help settle this!

I had a talk with Airtel Customer Care in Gallary people and they said my plan got changed on 23rd May 2008.
They said I had sent a SMS to change my Montly rental plan, but I haven't sent any SMS to them.
But in new bill plan he say our bill comes in old plan but he dont give us to same bill plan charges.and its calculating charges are to be wrong.

Iam the customer for Bharti Airtel from last 6 years, Iam very proud to say this. My existing Mobile No. [protected] ( from last 6 Years ). Recently on 23rd July 2008 I had taken one more Post paid connection. The Mobile No. [protected]. This number is taken with AIRCOM SOLUTION Mob No. [protected] & Aplication No. 3834972.

As per the agreement they told that monthly rental of Rs. 249/- & there is an 600 minits free Local call to any GSM mobile & thereafter the call charges are Rs.0.50/-paise per minit to any mobile & land line is Rs. 1.00/-,

But as I talk to Airtel Customer care they told that 600minits free call only to AIrtel to Airtel & Rs 0.50/- paise to other Mobile & Land line is Rs. 1.00/- per minit.

If this is the case I will not continue with the above said number & please deactivate the same.

We have applied for Ownership Transfer on 5th March 2008 from Nitin Raghubanshi to Ranen Banarjee (Mobile No. +91 [protected]). But till today the Ownership has not changed to Ranen Banarjee.I regularly remined them for that but not getting any response from them.

So, I request you to please follow up the matter as soon as possible to get the proper bill to our address.

I have taken my airtel postpaid connection through our company. My no. is [protected]. My HR told that this is common usage group sim.. so u are free to talk to anybody in our company with this connection. But Now my bills are very high and I doubt that this is not a CUG connection (common usage group sim). So pls clarify my doubt and do the needful.

at Dhella (Buthgarh) village but the signal power is very very low like one small mark of signal out of 4 or 5 marks

If we want to make a call in my home then we will go to our roof where signals are full.

We will do many complaint to 121 & also Baddi corporate head But there is no solution till now.

We will take max. paid no. from Airtel . we will tell on 121 almost 40 to 50 times but there is no solution.

So please do the needful act.
