I have taken a new airtel prepaid connection : [protected].
The plan activated on this number was of 1 paisa per second, however the amount is deducted as per the basic call rates (i.e. 1.50 for STD and 1 for local). I have checked with the retailer. even they do not have idea about it and no solution provided.
The biggest blunder is when I call customer care on 121 and enter my 10 digit prepaid number - I get to hear that the number is invalid.
Seems like the Airtel has launched the new series of numbers starting with 8, but forgot to update the IVR.
What a mess...!!!
Can I expect some solution...???

I am sankar from Namakkal my mobile number :[protected].i am using using airtel gprs one month pack and connect to my laptop.the internet speed is very slow i got only 5 kbps to 6kbps in morning 7am to 6pm only.after 6pm the internet speed in bytes only.i called and complaint to airtel complaint number 198 but they told we already solve your problems.now no problem in your number and airtel customer care employees says if anything you want about gprs you call 12138 .but the 12138 customer care peoples say you call 198 and regiter your complaints.i called all the above numbers but they are told only no problem in your number.i cannot satisfy the airtel customer care.in our side airtel customers are using this pack but they are not able utilized fully .please clear my prolems quickly.
