[Resolved]  Airtel Prepaid — Very BAD 121 service to have discussion with customer care representative

Very BAD experience with the interface to reach the Customer care representative:
Once you call to Airtel customer care service by calling 121, after that i have not find any direct line to connect the representative. Then some how i got the line after struggling 30 minutes.
My concern is here that why not Airtel providing the direct option to call the customer care representative as you are charging .50 paisa.
After today call i got very much frustrate as i am never going to call customer care representative.
I have already registered a complaint regarding balance automatically, that why i was trying to get the details from Customer care representative.
[I remember the airtel prepaid service that i used in year[protected] that time there was direct number '9' is dedicated to connect customer care executive: why not now they are providing same service]

Airtel Postpaid — Poor response from customer care representative

dear sirs, pl call only on [protected]
my daddy no is [protected].he receives message from airtel regarding payment.in this referance i called 121 and spoke to yr executive and was informed that there is a dissent from my bank for payment of 424rs for above number.so i called hsbc and they informed me there was no transaction on my credit card done by airtel as i was informed by airtel executive that my that dissent was on 4th of november.
so again i called 121 for help ,i explain everthing to yr executive but he was not able to help me out and i requested to speak to senior person.he transferred line to senior person mr fidavi supervisor.
i again repeated everything.he told me i have to visit gallery.i made him understood that i stay at vile parle and to go khar or lokhandwala going and coming cost me 80 rs so if he can request the a/cs deparment to redo the transaction.but he refused and informed that 5 days before due date transaction can be done.in this referance we had heated argument and he told me to go to malad head office with written complaint .he is talking as if he is government officer.nowdays governmet officers are 1000times sweeter in talking.
my problem is as under 1) we call 121 for help and try to avoid to go to gallery.in turn apart from helping we are shown rules and regulations .2) i called up regarding making payment ,and as a customer you treat us as if we are beggars.you as a company are fit for people who dont make payments and you have to run behind them for payments. after above talks with mr fidavi i called twice ,once i spoke with mr abhishek and second time with female executive.i requested both the executives to transfer the line to mr fidavi.they both kept me on hold and after sometime they disconnected the line.
3) i have 3 connections [protected],[protected] and [protected] and 7 prepaid lines in my office.you can check my payments fromvery first day that i have not defaulted any payment or paid any late charges.
as mr fidavi has told me to go to malad head office i am going to mail mr mittal the above mishandling and a copy to trai for some rules and regulations in customers benefits.
from the above illmanered behaviour of airtel i would request for cancellation of all the lines with immediate effect.
pl call only on [protected] for any cancellation formality to be completed. thanks and regards premal

pl teach Mr fidavi to talk in deccent manner.pl refer my talking with mr fidavi as our talks have been recorded for yr internal purpose.

airtel all cutomer care is is fraud and his all commitment is fake.

Daily basis phone and daily new & new complain number i m totly fedup with ur shift manager and managers his name (KULDEEP DUA , MUKESH, KUMAR, DEEPAK SHURTI, ADITYA, NEETU, NILENDRA, MANPREET). They gave me lots of complain no[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected], and extra exctra) i don't know whats problen in your server in last 5 days. i know your brand name is high but your working style of just like RAILWAY ENQUIRIES. all customers is BLOODY and STUPID acordind as your customer care services.


Thanks a lot for last 3 year exprience of airtel.

how i can see the airtel prepaid call detail statement ?

my airtel number is [protected].
i am suffering from inproper outgoing facilitiy.
i have complained many times to the customer care but they are not responding to that!!
complain numbers are----
17638333 dated on 21.07.08
[protected] dated on 12.08.08
17972722 dated on 20.08.08
[protected] dated on 28.08.08
[protected] dated on 29.08.08
i had called to customer care more than 10 times a day.
but just they give excuses that give 1 hr time or 2 hr time or 24 hrs time but there is no response and when i call the next time they say that your complain has been called of by some reasons. diffrent people are been called n told the details but there has been no action taken to it.during my calls to customer care i was given a number [protected] where no one is responding.
i am quite haraased now and just thinking to go to consumer forum.
so i kindly request you to look at the problem and solve my inconvienience.

I too had the worst experience with airtel customer care 121. I just cant believe the low class service thats been provided. I called over 15 times to just try n get my blackberry services activated and not one of them knew what to do. They couldn't understand n neither communicate in English properly.The worst part was when i tried again today morning, i went with the instructions to speak to representative and they network kept getting cut by saying please dial *123# to know your account balance...hahaha...How silly!!! when i got home I realized I am not the only one struggling...My brother, my little sister and few of my friends are facing the same issue.We all have decided to change to Vodafone by tomorrow. I clearly see a downfall for Airtel...it has already begun in my circle.
Exactly the same here[protected]. I have tried a number of times in the last two days, during office hours, evening, and night. There is no way to connect to a representative. Even after being told that any further assitance will cost 50 paisa, no representative comes on line. The recorded message continues and the call is terminated. This is indeed shocking! No way whatsoever to talk to a rep to find out how to change a plan or whatever other concerns we have as customers.

I have sent complaints through email also in the past. We get a nice automated response that it will be attended to in the next 24 hours, but then nothing happens!
I'm going through the same kind of experience with calling Airtel Customer care, dial 121, go through all the options. When we finally get to confirm to pay for the call, it redirects to auto-response saying to dial *121# to know about balance, validity. Have tried from 3 different lines, same response. Don't know why the guys at Airtel are not giving direct helpline number when we are paying for this? Is it really hard for them to provide a direct line?
