[Resolved]  Airtel — Sim Card Registration Failed

My Airtel prepaid mobile [protected] service stopped working from past 8 days due to the error Simcard registration failed. Tried using a different phone but never worked. I tried contacting Airtel customer care many times and none bothered to look in to this matter.

I had already sent many emails to the Airtel Appellate authorities and a lady named SHILPA S replied saying that my alternate number is not reachable. When I replied to her email saying "Stop lying" and start resolving the problem. She then sent an email requesting for all non relevant questions like, hows the voice clarity, how many towers are displayes, what does the cell info display status shows and so on. Finally she asked me for the SIM number which I sent through an email. I have never got an update and my phone is dead for more than 10 days now. This is not acceptable since this is the main number my family and relatives use to contact. I have also raised a complaint through Airtel www.airtel.in/airtelpresence and no response till date.

Since it is too late I want some higher authorities from Airtel to look in to this and do the needful ASAP. I want Airtel to compensate for the loss that they have made to me and should pay for the difficulties I had to gone through because of their poor service.

My name is Jagadish..Last week i have converted my Airtel prepaid account to Airtel postpaid .
Now today morning onwards, my mobile is not working...It is throwing a message like 'SIM card registration failed". I have called customer care several times. But there was no proper response.
Please do the needful .

Airtel Sim — sim is not started from 1 month

my incoming and out going calls was barred since from 30 days, i consult cusomer care exectuvi (munish, khusvant, harsh..at mohali(chandigarh).)but their is no response & correct answer with him.

Because of my brother suggestion i selected the airtel sim but at the initial period only i am facing problem, i hope my problem will be rectified

dear sir, i purchased a AIRTEL connection recently. my mob. no. is [protected].at last evening it showed me 'sim card regestration fail' 2 times then i took out sim from mobile 'n' put it again after few seconds after that it showed me 'plz insert sim card' and then i restarted again after that it is being show me 'sim card rejected plz insert sim card.plzzzz help me nactivate my sim card.

Aitel network people are making it habit about this . They have to rectify the problem immediately.
Customer care not satisfyinf the customer in these type of complaint.

Airtel — due to validity activation failed

dear sir madam myself mr. santosh r. mane . i am the customer of airtel since last for or five years but in those days my faith my belief on airtel system get reduced because on mobile phone shows its validity up to 2021 but my number is not in working condition i will throw that card easily but the problem is ther yhat i have the near about 600 rupees.
my validity was up to 22 may 2009 but before 2 days from 22 may the validity automatically get incresed from you side and now i cant recharge any validity voucher for my cell and hence my cell phone not activated yet .
i have connected to the customer care since last week but they are not giving me the positive feedback from their side . plz show me the way that how could i activated my sim card with carry forward along with 600 rupees balance

Idea — Submit Proof of two number before Two month and Sim will not activate

we have purchased a three numbers, Two issued for my name Arundeep no. is([protected]) and remaining issued gaurav behal no. is ([protected]).and submitted all the documents accordind to requirement of purchased sim card.and we firstly we went to dealer, he has not listened about sim, and told number will be activated, many times we went but not proper respond found.then we complained to customer care .then no any responsed found, then we called to Mr. Ravi Incharge of this .he told me i mailed to regarding your sim and after three days sim will be activatd, then again and again we called but every time same answer he was given to us.and told there are so many reasons and processes.please resolve our issue.


please resolve our issue without any harassment, time wastage and any loss.and given to us same benefit of plan what we have purchased from dealer.

AirTel — failure to activate sim card

Dear sir,
Due to misplacement of my sim i have requested customer care to block it . I have taken a new sim card on 19.07.09, but till date sim has not been activated in spite of repeated requests to your dealer here in Sivakasi.

Airtel — sim registration failed for 40 days

i was a airtel postpaid connection holder for more than 18months before i wanted to switch over to postpaid connection as i was moving out of jodhpur for abt 5months, , , i paid all my outstanding bills till last date n on top of that the additional charges demanded for changeover from postpaid to prepaid...initially i was not provided with a sim of prepaid but when it was given its registeration failed...somehow after wasting 3 days that got activated but after 2 days there were few messages that ur documents need to be submitted at nearest airtel office. so i went to chennai office but they said its a prepaid no of rajasthan u have to contact them to resolve it..the customer care at chennai network also dint lodge my complaint...i called up mr gaurav at 30 different occasions fromy personal std to ratify the problem if any as i was out of town. but he has benn avoiding my calls n not done anything...now the status is that my sim resgistration has failed and i am not able to contact all my contacts of old no( [protected] )...i feel if nothing is done after this mail then i am going to sue the airtel company for all my losses in terms of time, mental peace n inconveneance.
