[Resolved]  Airtel — Sim Card Registration Failed

My Airtel prepaid mobile [protected] service stopped working from past 8 days due to the error Simcard registration failed. Tried using a different phone but never worked. I tried contacting Airtel customer care many times and none bothered to look in to this matter.

I had already sent many emails to the Airtel Appellate authorities and a lady named SHILPA S replied saying that my alternate number is not reachable. When I replied to her email saying "Stop lying" and start resolving the problem. She then sent an email requesting for all non relevant questions like, hows the voice clarity, how many towers are displayes, what does the cell info display status shows and so on. Finally she asked me for the SIM number which I sent through an email. I have never got an update and my phone is dead for more than 10 days now. This is not acceptable since this is the main number my family and relatives use to contact. I have also raised a complaint through Airtel www.airtel.in/airtelpresence and no response till date.

Since it is too late I want some higher authorities from Airtel to look in to this and do the needful ASAP. I want Airtel to compensate for the loss that they have made to me and should pay for the difficulties I had to gone through because of their poor service.

Airtel Prepaid SIM — Transferring the sim plan without any notice

Sir,
My airtel perpaid sim belonged to the Airtel Campus plan with 10 paise calling. This means the old campus plan.
My validity was due till 7th of August 2009. I recieved a pre-recorded call from airtel on 5th of August, informing me that on the topup of Rs.27. I would be getting a Validity of six months and a talktime worth Rs.24. The call didnt mention anything else. But after the recharge my plan changed to normal pre paid and now its costing me Rs.1. for each call...Whhat to do????
you should have called customer care and asked completely about the plan.. there is always a catch behind every recharge plan they mention.. especially if it sounds cheap..now nothing can be done.

Myself Naresh Kumar Janghel having & using an Airtel sim card for last 2 years i.e. 2007.At present

my mobile Handset shows me SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED. So I want to activate my sim

card quickly. For which I have already sent you email on[protected]. But you are not rectify it till

date. I again request you please activate my sim card too soon. I was contact your local Airtel office

but they had not resolved my problem .

Dear sir,
I am a user of postpaid no.[protected] on 28th August my services is discontinue because of less documents,i am already submitted my documents when i am take this connection.
Inspite of that im submitted documents on 29th August at Airtel relationship center at Akola but now more than 10 days my service is still discontinue.
Pls look in to this matter,regarding this im contacted to your customer care service.

AirTel — sim card registration failed

so give me earror sim card registration failed im going to the airtel galary so told me

I have taken a duplicate Airtel SIM on 16 Oct 2009, supposed to be get actived by the same day by 1 PM. But it didn't not happen even 19 th.
I had spoke to airtel customer care several times on 19 th and they asked me to take another SIM. Even then it didn't work. They were not able to answer why the SIM did not get active.
Then again I called and spoke to customer support manager on 20th and he assured me that it will get activate within 4 Hrs.
But till today no luck.

For me, it is really very bad experience with airtel.

I am dealing with Airtel since 4 Yrs at Jandiala Guru and using Mobile No.[protected]DEMO Number). From last one month am having problem with my said number i.e. it shows me SIM Card Registration Failed.
I have a balance of Rs.3992/- in account of the above said number.

After communication with the customer care service, I talk to my “Area Manager” many times and so many times to the Distributor–“Takkar And Company ([protected], [protected])”, Jandiala Guru, Amritsar, but they just hesitating me again and again and my business is suffering because of their negligence.
I request you to take a look into the matter and resolve the matter ASAP.

Airtel — airtel demo card is acting as normal card from october 2009.

this is ponnusamy,anandhi std booth,tholudur. i have a connection of airtels demo number but from october 2009 onwards always this number convert into normal number .because of this i have to face many problems and the customer are not satisfied with me .
so as soon as posible please convert my numer in demo number.

My mobile number is [protected].

And i am getting Sim Card Registration Failed on my mobile, i have cleared my mobile bill on time and my credit limit is 5500/- though they have disconnected my service.

I want a stricit action against airtel how can they stop somebody's business from morning 9 am till evening 3 i am facing this problem i cannot make calls nor receive calls, this pathethic.

I am facing a huge loss due to this inconvenience.

My SIM card registration failed too. I am travelling abroad and it was working fine till November 09, 2009. Suddenly, I am getting "No Service". When, I switched ON again, it says, SIM CARD Registration Failed.

Please help me here to reactivate my SIM card.

Airtel — Making SIM inactive by unauthorised way

I have been using prepaid Airtel life time mobile for the past two months. Yesterday somebody called and informed that the mobile number I am now using was in use by him and further informed that he lost his mobile some 6 months back. It was clarified to him that I got this number from Airtel show room and also informed him that since the number was not in use for the past six months it automatically lapsed. To my surprise on the same day my SIM has been inactivated. I have contacted customer care and they informed that the mobile number was issued with new SIM card since it was informed that the same was lost. There was no proper reply for my queries that how a person other than me have made request for change of SIM card and use my mobile number. There was no proper reply from the Airtel showroom also. Howevere i have requested the customer care to block the incoming and outgoing calls to avoid misuse of the number. Under these situation the Airtel simply say that You change the SIM card by payment and then use. There is no foolproof system to check verify the authenticity of the identity certificates by the airtel show room. Any body had the same problem with Airtel ? What is the procedure to surrender the prepaid mobile number? I already made complaint to the Airtel show room regarding this and they are not aware where to send my complaint.
sir i bought airtel simcard in chennai and i use it for nearly one month and in one day they disconnect the outgoing calls for non submission of proofs and verification so i went to airtel customer care and complained about that i have provide every details regarding for simcard and they gave the connection to my no, once again that every thing s correct from my side so i started to use again but once again they stopped outgoing calls so i called customer care and they said that my card has been rejected ... what the hell s doing they are pls help i had recharged that mobile for 245 rs with six months booster validity ... and with balance of 7 rs.. if they won t recorrect that problem may i move to consumer court, , , , , , pls pls pls help me help me
I have bought one no. NOKIA 3110C camera mobile, and with the mobile i got one no. airtell SIM free. And after submission of my documents to the shopkeeper, SIM got activated. Its now more than a month now. And from day before yesterday when i re-inserted my airtell SIM in to the mobile, it displayed " SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED . " I dont know how and now what to do?

Please help me get my SIM activated as soon as possible.

when i inserted my airtel prepaid sim card it showed sim card registartion failed. my airtel number is [protected] . so i would to notice airtel to please solve this problem as soon as possible.
Sir i am having[protected] number and i am not having currency in that just morning i wanted to recharge it but it is not recharging so please consider my compent and do the needfull please.

i have a airtel connection which i did not use for quite some time. i suppose there is a period after which you disable the sims which haven't been used for a long time. please reactivate my sim [protected]
