[Resolved] Airtel — AIRTEL to TATA DOCOMO MNP request rejected | |||
Respected Sir, This is CHERUKURI VENKATA RAVICHANDRA from VELLORE, TAMIL NADU. I am an existing AIRTEL customer since two and a half years " +[protected] " and owing to the fact that MNP is now a reality i want to switch to TATA DOCOMO. I have received the unique porting ID " AT963326 " on 10-02-11. My request for MNP has been successfully registered on the same day with a reference number - 1342635. After two days that is 12-02-11, I had received a message from TD-1901 stating that your port in request for mobile number [protected] has been REJECTED by your service provider due to LEGAL REASONS. I have contacted the customer care (121) representatives and also 198 thrice each (which took a lot of time to speak to an executive directly) to find out what the legal reason is and they have the same response i.e we are forwarding your call to our senior executive and then the call gets disconnected. I am not expecting a reason or anything from AIRTEL. I just want to switch to DOCOMO. Please resolve my problem as soon as possible. Waiting for Justice and Hoping for the best. Dear CHERUKURI VENKATA RAVICHANDRA,
We all are facing same problem from the No.1 worst service provider Airtel.
They don't allow their customers to go out, so MNP requests are rejected with any reasons.
Most of the reasons are false/wrong. They are trying to fool customers...
you have to contact your Nodal officer of Airtel Tamilnadu

and ask them to solve your problem.
If not satisfied contact Appellate officer.
