I complaint an auto KA03AA5070. I got the auto from Leela palace to Hebbal road, Amruth Nagar, Bangalore. auto number: KA03AA5070, it was charged me 250Rs(this amount was showing by meter), and I had to paid 400Rs because the time was after 10:00pm, but I know from Leela palace to amruth nagar not worth 250Rs, and the driver took the long way and wrong way obviously(like cross same place twice), and I found even the driver doesn't have license. I talked to him about the complaint and he replied me so rude.
I need to mention I am a foreigner in India, in Bangalore, please understand me, I found indian people is very friendly and nice, I like this country. but every time my feeling just broken by this kind of driver.

Auto Rickshaw — Auto Rickshaw meter showing faulty reading
Dear Sir/Madam,This is regarding an auto rickshaw which showed faulty reading on its meter.
I took an auto rickshaw when i was coming back home which is at charkop from kandivali.When i reached my destination i was shocked and amazed to see the reading in the meter as 2.60 which amounts to Rs. 25 where as in reality it costs around Rs 20 or Rs. 21 to the max. I asked the driver also to justify the reading to me but instead of justifying he got offended and said that this often happens.
I request you to please take corrective action on this rickshaw whose number is given below. Also requesting you to please keep me updated with the progress of this complaint if possible.

Hello,I want to register a complaint of an autorickshaw driver. His Auto No. is MH 63 R 8542.
I daily travel by Auto Rickshaw from my Residence (Kandivali East) to my Office (Goregaon East). On a working day when there's much traffic on the way, a normal meter reading comes out around Rs 40.
Today being a holiday there was no traffic at all and still the meter reading came out to be Rs 50/-.
In addition to this the driver was very rude and ill mannered.
Please take some action against such auto rickshaw drivers.

i agree, auto rickshaws do overcharge and refuse to listen to our arguments regarding the false meter readings, to add to their hooliganism they even refuse to take passengers to nearby destinations, the best solution is, if you see that the meter reading is faulty between the journey only
1>tell him about it
2>if he refuses to answer, sms the auto number to a friend
3>stop the rickshaw in a rather crowded place, its safer to argue there
4>magnify the issue, instead of saying the regular fare is 10 rs less than the present, say its 25 rs. less, then bargain on 10 rs, but make sure you do this in a crowded place which is at a walkable distance from ur destination

Auto Rickshaw — Jumping Fare Meter
Since RTO has not provided option in the website for Auto Rickshaw complaints, I am registering my complaint in this windo. I hope RTO takes it in the right spirit and punish the erring auto driver.I hailed an auto from Mulund East to Pestom Sagar via Amar Mahal. The meter of that auto was so perfect that it showed a fare of only Rs.87- something very rare. I complemented the auto driver.
On return I caught auto No.MH-03-1346 to Mulund East and got down a the same spot. That auto meter was showing a fare of Rs.107/=. When questioned the driver said I have to pay whatever his meter showed. I paid him Rs.110/- and he sped away even without giving me the balance. The return auto was also running at super speed, frightening me and my wife. Will the authorities be kind enough to take disciplinary action against the erring auto please?
I suggest that a separate slot be provided for complaining against autos in the website.
An Autorickshaw with the registration number MH-03-AA-9900 had a faulty meter and overcharged me today, (4 Feb 2010) while i was commuting from Godrej & Boyce Complex (My office) in Vikhroli to Hiranandani, Powai (My residence). Everyday the meter charge comes to Rupees 27 but today he tried to charge me Rupee 35 and a long argument ensued. Recently a group of such autowallahs have started collecting outside the godrej complex to fleece the corporate executives taking them to be a soft target. I am an ex-Intelligence Bureau officer and I would like the relevant authorities to conduct surprise checks and seize the vehicles of these unscrupulous auto drivers who are bringing a bad name to their fellow brethren. After all, Mumbai is known for honest auto and taxi drivers.

I was with my wife and my 2 yr kid and had some household belongings. I requested the rickshaw driver for the his service till King George I E S school. This was a distance of minimum fare from the place I had asked him to come.He rudely refused and started speaking on phone with some one. I had to wait for some time with all my belongings, my kid and my wife for another rickshaw. Fortunately the other fellow agreed and I left from that place.
Serious action needs to be taken against rickshaw drivers who have HIRE meter but still refuse their passengers for paid drops.
The same thing is happening with me daily. There is a rickshaw stand just below my building (Lane opp to Sadal Baba, near Saint Mary church), my office is hardly 3 kms from home. All the rickshaw walas refuse to go by meter and they ask for 30-50 Rs where in by meter it is hardly 20 Rs. They are a group and everyone refuses to go by meter. Moreover because of there monopoly no other auto stops there. Please help me on how to sort out this problem. Daily I need to walk a long distance despite of the autostand nearby. I want to launch a complaint against auto MH 12DT 2917. This guy stands there daily and refuses to use meter asking for extra money

Hi,Yesterday i took auto from M.G road to Kormangala 1st block at 10.30 pm,Auto guy ask me to pay Rs.20 Extra on meeter i agree with him,he started the auto after some time i realize that his meter was not working properly so asked him to stop,he dont stopped hid vehicle,after kormangala reach he stooped his vehicle near to my house,It's in 4th cross venkatapura layout,near 171 bus stop from M.G road it will be 8.5km and his meeter showing 14.5 km and as per that meeter asking Rs. 94,i agree to pay one and half and extra 20 bugs,but after saw the meeter i disagree to pay that much amount.so he start abusing word and he suppose to fight.
I would like to inform that,this completely not his fault its system fault,karnataka police only trained how to take money from people.Then know how to read news papers, shopping but they list bother about this kind of thing so that this are happen,so for entire Karnataka police and law and order system i would like to say only one word................... south India is good but system wise they they dont have any control that why now a days most of the people are outsider.

Auto Rickshaw Complaint M H 12 CT 2327
I am Sagar Sudhakar Pise registering complaint against the Auto rickshaw , asking for the 150 RS fare .
My wife ,10 months son & her mother were travelling from Engineering college to Sahakar Nagar No:-1.
He was very rude ,driving very roughly & asking for 150 RS fare instead of actual meter rent.
It has all happened after 8 A.M so there is no need to calculate 1.5 times fair.Even he did not bother to fix a meter.I don`t know how to deal with auto rickshaw . It was very unfair to me.Auto rickshaw driver was arrogant & abused me on asking for fare as per the meter.Please take necessary action against him.

Auto Rickshaw — Loss of HP cylinder in Auto KA05 3010
Hi,I took auto neat JP nagar II phase near Diwakar hospital for going to JP nagar VII phase along with 1 HP cylinder and I was going along with Auto driver. I struck in traffice and behind me auto driver escaped with cylinder and his KID. I made a police complaint as well in hulimau polistation in bannerghatta road.

Pardon me i dont feel right calling you SIR, as i don't respect any one from the government body.This is a month back old incident. I dont wanna spend any more characters describing you fellow.
So my story(true one) goes this way. I took a rickshaw from MULUND Checknaka to R-CITY mall THANE . And the meter read only 54. But still the driver charged us 60. On arguing he showed me some card asking me to read that one. It only specified a distance(in k.m) and mentioned some range(in Rs) the nearest had 55 written on it. On asking what does it specify, he being an illiterate asked me this is card what we follow and he doesn;t know much.
If atleast you servants who serve US and purely meant to serve us would bother to clarify what kind of card was that and why did he overcharge us.
Would also like to say my colleagues who took another rick, their meter read only 48 and they were charge 55 ...
The rickshaw nos was MH05 7535 and his badge number -958.
I hope the rickshaw wala is punished before his rickshaw turns 100 yr old . All th best

I hope and trust that the authorities concerned will get all the meters in Jogeshwari, Goregaon and Malad area and all rickshaws plying at the different stations checked regularly so that innocent passengers are not taken for a ride and cops are looking the other way after taking bribes from them.
