Autorickshaw — Refusing to play short distance

Hi,
This is with regards to autorickshaw number MH 12 CH 9168 refusing to ply from SGS Magnum Mall Camp to Shantai Hotel.

This happened about a week back. This is a common occurrence in pune. Either they refuse or they ask for ridiculous fares without turning the meter on.

There has to be someone who looks into these issues.

This happened on dated 23/10/2009 when railway accident happened near thane railway station.He refused to go at time needy sititution.

Autorickshaw — Not ready to travel short distance

Public transportation in pune is first of all pathetic and to add to this is the behavior of autorickshaw drivers.Yesterday i wanted my mother to be taken to a nearby clinic as she fainted at home.I have no conveyance of my own and hence had to pursue an autorickshaw for that.I asked an auto driver (Vehicle number : MH 12 CT 2851) but he denied saying he had to go home when the time was just 8.30 pm.I knew that because it is short distance he wasn't readyfor it.I begged him saying that i have a patient to be taken to the hospital, still he didn't show any mercy.I managed another auto and was able to take my mother to the hospital.On return back i saw the same auto driver standing at the rickshaw stop who had dropped us at the hospital and this time he denied taking us back home (Vehicle Number : MH 12 RA 1629). There was another auto driver standing there who also denied. Is there any other agency to whom i can directly approach to lodge a complaint? Because anyone can have such a situation coming their way.

Respected sir, I would like to bring in your kind notice about an auto AP-29T/3698 hired opp. KPHB kaman kukatpally to Nalakunta Shanker Math main road the fare was in the meter Rs.182.40, last time I had given Rs.145/- only. I told him but he was not ready to listen me. I give him Rs.200/- and reguest for balance but he had no chiller he can't return balance and left back.I and my wife and daughter with me both time.Is it correct or not, if not correct please write complaint against him. I personally request your honour.

Auto Rickshaw — Auto Rickshaw MH 02 X 8916 complaint for meter tampering

Dear Sir/Madam,

I took the rickshaw MH 02 X 8916 from bandra east highway to go towards powai via JVLR (jogeshwari vikhroli link road). the driver was not the owner but was hired to drive the rickshaw.

its my everyday route so the meter reading upto JVLR is 65 (Rs. 85), but this meter showed 85 (Rs. 105), when i told the driver & refused to pay so much. the driver forced me to pay fare for reading 85. he demanded the fare, when i gave him 100 rs. note, he didnt give me back change, instaed got out of the rickshaw and told me to take another auto. till i dnt get out of the auto he wont drive, that was very mannerless way to behave with a girl.i said in 100 i would have reached my destination with normal working meter. and threatened him of police, but he raised his voice and asked me to get down.

please take action against the driver & owner.
the only way to recognize the driver hired for this rickshaw is his eyes had problem, were squint and fair looking thin man.
and please take some action against meter tampering

RTO — complaint is against auto rickshaw

my complaint is against Auto rickshaw NUMBER MH 03 AK 6657. he did not agree to go where i wanted to and started fighting. when i told him come to RTO he parked the rickshaw and n told me to get down.. its a rule that they cannot deny to any passenger.

normally the reading upto chicholi bunder malad is 22, but this rickshaw showd 33, i refused to pay so much as i was sure there was some problem with the meter. on refusing the auto driver forced me to pay fare for 33 reading and asked me to get down from the rickshaw and take another one. his behaviour was mannerless towards a gal.

am reseiding in juhu i had take an auto rickshaw from four bunglows on 11-10-10 near manish tower hsbc to mhada telephone exchange four bunglows but after when i got down i forgot my mobile,

I took an auto from mahakali caves road ..sai baba temple to bandra court junction bandra east. The meter reading showed rs.7.30, which is quite high for the distance., the ricksaw person charge me Rs 99 which i came to know is Navi Mumbai rate. I hereby post a complaint of faulty meter and over charging on the auto driver. .

I want to lodge a complaint towards tampered auto rickshaw meter today i.e. 07.12.2010 and the Auto Rickshaw no is MH-03-V-3119...I had taken auto from Kandivali Link Road till Juhu (Mumbai)10 road and normally the fare comes to Rs. 94/- max but he charged me 120/-. Infact i told him that i come daily and ur meter is wrong but the auto rickshaw guy didnt listen to me and started arguing... he said whereever u want to complain u complain...

so i request u to kindly change action against this rickshaw driver

I want to lodge a complaint against an auto rickshaw for its faulty meter, this incident took place on 3/02/2018 in the evening around 8.40 pm while going to kanjurmarg station (east) from Goregoan-mulund link road near THE FOOD STUDIO, we got the auto by crossing the road as we told him to take us to the destintation through highway, he took a U turn accordingly and within no time the fare from RS 18 it turned out to be 33 rs (not more then 5 mins )
On enquiring about this, the reply we got was : Autodriver : Madam highway se jaega toh meter zada aata hai (said confusingly... )
Me and my fiance : Started arguing, still the driver denied
half the way the meter turned out to rs 103 and suddenly after 2 mins in between the meter was showing the fare as rs 18
At the end of this route he still not accepted the case about faulty meter, Due to this reason consumer prefer ola and uber for their convinent instead of this fraud autorickshaws and their faulty meter.

Its a humble request from my side that please take action against these autodrivers, as they earn money in a fraudalent way and looting customers charging twice the normal fare .
Today this incident happened with me, tommorrow with someone else and this goes on and on, in this way anyone may get into trouble .

Hi I was travelling from Citi mall andheri west to Azad nagar Metro Station. His meter was faulty. He charged 57 Rs from me. Which normally is under 30 rs. He was constantly accelerating his auto in traffic while his auto was not moving. Accelerating caused the distance meter to increased which caused fare to be increased. He was drunked without uniform and driving ruthless... I told him to be complained to RTO. He said I do not fear. His auto no. Is MH 02 EF 6490 around 5.20pm on 29/05/2018.He was ready to be clicked for complaint.Kindly take strict action against this ruthless and who does not fear law... I am sending his photo and auto pic

Hi. I took an auto on 03/09/2018 at 5:30pm from citi mall andheri to seven bungalows, usually the auto fare is 35 - 40 rupees depending on the traffic but my auto meter was extremely fast and it came to 49 rupees which is impossible since i am a regular traveller. The auto number is MH 03 BN 7423

I took a rickshaw near BMW Bike showroom at Andheri West to Rajkumar Road Rajhans School where i tell him to wait for 2-3mins and everyday i ask the rickshaw person to take me back in the same Rick to Sahakar Nagar. This is my everyday travel to pick up my son.
My rickshaw meter always shows 38-40rs depending on traffic. And the distance is 2.5kms to and fro.
Today my rickshaw meter showed 3.5kms. And rs51. For which i was not ready to pay. Since i had no change i had to paid him rs50 n asked him to return my 10rs which he refused and said that meter runs automatically how can i do anything.
I told him that he has tampered with the meter n to return my change which he dint.
He even told me to take photo and complain at the RTO. Look at his confidence. This is how they are and they try to show that they are more powerful than the commoners.
I would request the RTO to kindly take strict action in tampering of the Meters.
These people are greedy for money and expect us to believe that they don’t touch their meters and tamper them.

Faulty meter and overcharged for same route and distance.

I daily travel from Andheri to Mulund same route and it costs Me around 250 to 270 Rupees without any traffic. Today it charged Me 330 Rupees without any traffic. Below are the details of the auto rickshaw.
