[Resolved]  Auto Rickshaw — Autorickshaw overcharging

Dear sir,

I am wokring in Ernakulam, today I had one isntance and would like to register this complaint.
I hired an auto from Edappally Ernakulam, after signal torwards Palarivattom. I travelled from the auto stand to Palarivattom next after the pertrol pump beofre the Jansree Polistation. The meter in auto was not working & Auto driver has claimed Rs.40 for hardly 2.5Kms travel from the place I hired. I questioned him but he told you may put up complaint but this is the charge and if required check with nearest auto stand. The Auto Rikhaw Reg No. KL 43B 3850. I made the payment of Rs. 40

If the above amount in over charged I request you to do ne needdful to arrest such instances, which is harming the normal person and today there is a hartal for private bus employees.

According to the revised rate we should give meter charge+ 50% of the amount after substract Rs. 20 from the meter charge. according to this the rate will be only Rs.75.50 The registraton no. of the rickshaw is Kl.08 AW 6756.
Pls do necessary action against such drivers and pls enforce to provide meters

Today i had an incident on journey from moonupeedika to irinjalakuda .Driver asked to me to pay the charge Rupees 150.00 for hire. And he also said that the distance between irinjalakuda and moonupeedika is 30km. And Autorikshaw no is KL47/D 2851.

I traveled in a auto (Reg no KL-46-H-6468) on 15th-June-2018 at 5:30pm. Between Vadanappally Athmavu to Kandassankadavu.(Around 1.5Km). The Auto driver didn't put meter and demanded Rs 45/-. But after many argument he collected Rs 30/-. Kindly take necessary action & enforce drivers to put meter.

Palakkad Town Area Poolakkad All Auto Minimum Charge(1.5 KM) Rs.30 Kindly take necessary action

I am a student studying in a private instituition in Angamaly.Our instituition is about 1 km away from KSRTC stand. Often I and my friends have to walk all the way along to catch the bus . But sometimes we used to go by auto. The auto drivers of Angamaly would only take us if we agree to pay only 30/-. This is not the case of a single auto driver . Most of the auto drivers charge 30/- rather than 20/- for minimum distance. Sir, I deeply request you to take necessary actions against this injustice.

Yesterday (17/05/2019) I have hired an auto from KSRTC bus stand to Thrissur Railway Station ( backside entrance) at 11 pm. The auto driver demanded 40 Rs for hardly 1 km. When asked he says that during night times this is our rate. Arguement was meaningless so I paid Rs. 40. The auto number is KL 08 BN 7185. Please do the needful to stop suchover charges and arrogance from the drivers..

Today I had hired an auto from ravipuramjunction to ernakulam ksrtc stand at 5.50 PM and i had to pay him 70 rps, and the auto no is kl39 p 2462

Today I had hired an auto from Ernakulam junction south to Athani (Nedubaserry airport) at 14.04 PM and i had to pay him 600 rps, Cheated me and the auto no is kl07 cp 4569.Kindly take necessary action & enforce drivers to put meter.

Today I hired an auto from Lulu mall trivandrum to central railway station trivandrum and the driver charged me 200rs and the driver was rude when I asked about the auto fare. The distance is less than 10km and the auto fare showed 133rs for 10km in the motor vehicle auto fare regulations mentioned in auto. Autorickshaw number is KL01 CM 3741. Kindly take necessary action.

I am living trivandrum, here the auto rickshaw drivers charging very badly from the passengers.and RTO not enforce to provide meters, charging their own decision.same distance charging different charges..most of the passangers are middle class and BPL people.pls do the necessary actions to fix the taxi fare meters, one of the auto-rikshaw's no.KL01BS4773
