Two days back, I got a call from Bajaj Highlands, declaring me a winner for some of their promotional event. As invited I went to pick up my gift voucher along with my wife in the evening. Had to go through an agonizingly long hour of presentation, that too after a hard day's work. We were offered a five year holiday plan for Rs35, 000 and all the facilities like clubbing etc. My wife was almost dying to pick the offer but somehow I managed to decline. It was then that they offered me a 3 yr domestic package for Rs15, 000 which included all the facilities as well as trips to Asian countries were also included. It was another offer that most people would pick blindfolded. I was about to pay. But, again good sense prevailed and I just about managed to say a final no. As we left, my wife seemed a little disappointed but we said may be next time. And today, I just thought to google the company, which is when I found out so many fraud complaints.

I have been lucky to escape, but I know there are many people who continue to be duped of their hard earned money daily. These cheats should be taught a good lesson.
I also joined the list of cheated by this company last week. Did anyone try to approach consumer court? Can we do this together. Such a company has no right to stay in business. They are cheating shamelessly.

We were cheated in the same way in october 2010. We got into their trap and got a 2 year 9700 Rs package. on coming back home we checked for its reviewes and found that they are cheating their customers. As we had paid by credit card we called our bank and asked them to put the transaction on dispute ""Disputed the transaction" (initially the bank refused it cannot be done but we persisted). Along with it we faxed the details of our whole conversation along with link below to the bank
http://www.sebi.gov.in/satorders/Highland.html

We called Highland the next working day and asked them to cancel our registration but as usual they told you have to come down personally and you need to talk to our manager. Our manager cannot come over call as she is busy.
Their way of talking is very pathetic and the lady starts shouting on you if you persist.
We didnt go to their office in bangalore. But we faxed their chennai office to cancel our registration.
We faxed this letter copy again to the bank making sure that we had asked them to cancel our registration but they arent cancelling it. We also mentioned that we had just registered and havent used any of their services
Initially the bank told it will take 1 month to solve but later on changed it to 6 more months. we finally received a credit last week from the bank. :)

Disputing a transaction means, intially the bank will give a credit to whom we have made payment but will check for our concern and revert the credit in case the dispute comes in our favour.
Bajaj HolidayHomes has also promised us free club membership of Goregaon Sports Club for five years with their membership, their reprensentative collected our family photos as well & after we made payment & submitted photos we found out, the promise made by them were haux & thier head office denied this. & to our surprise their office have moved to unkown destination without any intimation to us so far so while surfing the net through google search about Bajaj Holidayhomes I have come across simmillar fraud.
i am also an victim of Bajaj Highland Holidays. Promised a lot, as to have tie-ups with all the major hotels all over india.
When asked for Booking, always used to provide a 3rd grade hotel, and that too priced at the tariff cost of the said hotel.
So in the end no benefits at all, all the money paid for joining is utter waste and cheating.

I think we all who have been affected by them need to file an case for money back...

Can someone guide on to how can we do it?
1. Bajaj Highland misguide us. At the time of membership, it is clearly told that if you do not avail your holidays, then we will sold your holiday to others and you will be paid for the same. But at the end of my membership when I enquired about this then these people told me that holiday should be sold by you. It is not our duty.
2. Even office address of this company is always changing without any knowledge of members. Very beginning its office is at Vashi, Navi Mumbai. After enquiry we found its office in Khar after one year of the membership. From Khar this office shifted to Kandivali or somewhere in western zone of Mumbai. Again after three years later office again shifted to Bandra.
3. Whenever you enquired about availing your holidays for any place, it will be informed you that booking is already over and you have to wait upto 4 to 6 months.
4. Utility charges are high. Sometimes there is hardly any differences in the normal charges than membership charges.
they are cheater cheater cheater cheater cheater
