[Resolved]  Barclay Credit Card — mentallaly harrasment

Dear Sir

I recevied barclay card in oct 07 i used it for 48800 rs in oct 07 but i not recived statement in time for payment the cce call regarding for paymentn i told i m not recevied the statement& dont know how i made a payment of card ( no branch in delhi ) after the speaking with CCE the next day i made a full payment to the executive come with me, they assured u dont charge the late fee, but the payment is released i got my 1st statement where the bank offical charge me the late fees & interest on entire amount.i talked with CCE they assured me the charges has revered but from nov 07 every statement adds some amount late fee, finance charge etc .That amount till date is approx 4900 rs which is i m not used.the recovrey agency also call me regarding for this payment their langauges are so abuse, The barclays card give me only mentally harrasment otherwise nothing...

Barclay Credit Card — Late Payment fee not reversed

Hello Sir,

This is joy sarkar, using Barclays credit card. These people have promised me in the month of October'09 to reverse the late payment fee for 2 months, also they have asked me to send the screen shot once the payment is done, but till today the late payment fee is not reversed.
I have sent four mails to them but no reply for the same.
I recieve calls, where they ask me the reason to send mails and they say they will get back to me.
I don't know if they know what they are saying.
My bills are raising every month, and I have clearly mentioned in the mail that I won't be responsible if they charge anything to my credit card. Also i will make the payment once the issue is resolved.

I don't know how to take it further,
Kindly help.

Barclays Credit Card — Charge for not using Credit Card

My name is Venkatesh. I am using Barclays Credit Card. In statement, it was stated that from January 2010, the bank will charge if the card is not used for more than six months. This is something amazing. Now, if the use has not urged or the customer has not used card for any reason, then what he will do. This is not fair at all from the bank because a customer is free to use the card when he wants.

I hereby want to notify this particular change which the bank has made and request you to look into the matter.
I am agreed with this.
Barclay card company is sucha [censored] and keep harrassing ppls on different occassions.

Barclays Credit Card — Harrassment by Call Center

I have been using Barclays Platinum Credit Card (supposedely, a preminum one) for more than one year now. Due to certain unavoidable reasons, I could not make payment of last bill generated on time. Right from the due date of the payment, I started getting 10 calls every day each on my mobile and landline for the same. Even after giving assurance of payment date, calls did not stop. Over that I was told that they will keep calling 50 times if I did not let them know the details of the payment (whether cheque, cash or online payment). I am highly disgusted with such a rude behaviour from the bank. I own 2 other premium credit cards from Citibank and Amex but never faced such a problem. I wish to clear the payment now and stop using their card. Please help.

Barclay Credit Card — Package Insurence

Dear Sir,

since i had recieve a call on my residence landline from mahendra Achrya (as per caller told) i did not know the name is correct or false name ? he just told me regarding the Package Insurence but did not told it will cost 999 Rs. as i receive the SMS for the same i am not ready to pay this 999 Rs. because at that time also told his if there is any charges i am not intresed.

Pls resole this matter and revert back to me.
stop such phone call where u miss guide ur customer who will never keep faith in u
also i want the guide line where just on phone call u call charge or sell any product.

no matter the caller is from ur side or from 3rd Part then also how he get all details my credit card.

Barclay Credit Card — harvey interest charge on 3 day late payment

i received barclay e-statement and know they charge me Rs. 801.86 as a interest and charges . my payment date was 25.9.10 and i was made payment on 28.9.10 because ICICI bank not provide me URN no. so i was not transfer credit card amount through my bank account. This URN No. not given to me by bank because govt. ban on bulk sms so i was failed to deposit amount with in time because above technical reason.

my total due is Rs. 6325 and i was late for pay just 3 day and you charge me Rs. 801.86 it is not fair

Barclay Credit Card — after payment of amount i am still not getting education loan for my children

I JYOTIPRAKASH TRIGUNAYAT holder of BARCLAY CREDIT CARD No: #[protected]. But since August 2008 I am being cheated from Bank. i.e In August 2008 my account balance was Rs 15774.70.Now on[protected] the late payment charge of RS 561 was charged on my account .Now because of this on[protected] my card limit amount had crossed Rs 16000.on which bank had charged again Rs 561 because of over limit amount. After that on[protected] late payment amount of Rs 561 was cancelled by bank but over limit amount i.e Rs 561 was not cancelled and was charged on my account by bank.
After this I told my problem to Bank but they didnot answer me properly.Then after I contacted with customer helpline and collection department for a long time they convice me telling next month they will surely reduce my extra charged amount but till June 2009 they had not reduced a single rupee.Till June I was regularly paying the amount instead of they were not solving my problem.
So after June 2009 I stopped paying amount because of this Bank had started harassing me and started using bad words with bad language..then bank had started making extra charges on my account which leads to Rs 35000 and above without any default from my side.Instead that I was ready to pay actual amount with interest but they were not ready and want their full amount with their charges.
At last on[protected] again I tried to contact them and they were ready to accept due amount with interest i.e Rs 7047. So on[protected] I had paid amount of Rs 7047 with Interest and Service Tax which was not a SETTLEMENT AMOUNT .because I had paid whole amount with Interest .
They even had registered my name in CIBIL due to which I had suffered many problems and still suffering because still I am not getting EDUCATION LOAN for my children because they had used SETTLEMENT word . when I applied to SBI BANK KARELIBAUG BARODA they reject my file from[protected] by replying this words “CIBIL of Applicant is adverse”.
Instead I am not a defaultor why I and my childrens suffer so please as soon as possible cancel SETTLEMENT word from cibil and help me out.

Barclays Credit Card — undue charges levied

I was having a credit card of barclays, which i used only once and made timely repayment.
The repayment cheque was collected late by them and they have been levying intt charges on that one time transaction.
The card was never again used after that transaction.
The timely payment was made via account payee cheque to barclays and dropped in the drop box at the authorized showroom by barclays.
The cheque was collected late by Barclays, and since then they have been levying interest charges on the amount and harassing me with demanding payment of the same.
Then one day i got a call from Barclays customer care asking me to settle the account and make a one time payment against the amount outstanding and get the account with them closed, some matrix recovery agent was sent to pick up the money and give me a receipt for full and final payment and after the credit of the amount to the account the company was supposed to issue me the letter of settlement, this all was said by the customer care executive to which i complied and the said agent gave me a eceipt with" full and final settlement" written on it.
I never got the statement or letter form the company as was promised, instead a few months later i get a call asking me to make the payment to close the account and avoid my CIBIL report form going bad.
I told them that i had made a payment earlier, as was asked by their customer care, to which they accepted having received the amount, but the account had not been closed at their end, now again they are demanding payment.
I am being harassed and i do not know whom to trust, this is causing me much mental disturbance, i am a widow and have children to support and this mental agony i am being subjected to is hampering with my work.........

PLEASE HELP.....

Barclay Credit Card — RE.REVERSAL OF AMT.

I HAVE MADE COMPLAINT AG.COLLECTION DEPTT ON 27/1/11 NO.4685695 AS PER TALK ON 17/1/11,HE TOLD ME IF I WILL PAY 50% OF OVERDUES HE WILL REVERSE WHOLEAMOUNT OF OVERDUE I.E.RS.8710 TO MY ACCOUNT AND I WAS PAID ON SAME DAY,BUT TILL DATE SAME WAS NOT REVERSED TILL DATE.THEREAFTER ANOTHER COMPLAINT WAS MADE NO.4703278 DT.1/2/11 AND 4709849 DT.3/2/11 AND 4724592 DT.8/2/11 .
PROOF : PHONE NO. AND TIME ALREADY SUBMITTED IN FIRST COMPLAINT (2) MOBILE RECORDING OF DT.17/1/111
my complain was resolved on 3/2/11 by RBI BANK OMBUDSEMENT DEPTT.i am thankful for that.

With reference to the above card, we have received the statement dated 05.04.2011 with overlimit fee Rs.500, and late fee charges Rs. 900.00, debit interest 4899.00. Further to our telephonic calls to your customer care, they have agreed to reverse the above amounts. But we are receiving numerous calls per day from your Chennai Call centre at Ambattur. Please reverse the above amounts and send us the new statement by mail or post, we will make the payment immediately.
Therefore i will not pay any Amount.
