Dish TV — Non-cooperation

I am using Dish TV since 7th of March-2011. Infact, I recieved the connection free of cost(so called) with Samsung Plasma. Now, since few days I am not able to watch even a single channel. For this, I went to the store owner named GARG SALES in Agra from where I had made this deal. The person in contact were Mr. Kapil and others. They were totally careless for this and told that the pack you have opted at the time of purchasing plasma tv were of min. Rs. 450 p.m. to watch channels, I told them why did you not aware me about this at that time, he could not answer. Infact, now they are not picking up my phone on [protected]. I want to have change this HARASSING pack of Rs. 450 p.m.

Hi friend,

I have tried this option very first, but other than their Auto generated email and regrets reply I have received no action.

Till this time I have communicated to customer care including their regional mangers more than 5+ times but unfortunatley none of then Intrested to resolve the issue, this is the sceniro.

Now you can imagine how India ka No.1 TV behave with customer.

Dish TV — Not providing channels as per plan

Hi,
I bought a Dish TV HD connection on November 2010. At the time of buying the sales agent told me that Dish TV is providing 3 HD channels in the base pack.

On February 2011 one guy from Dish TV called me and asked me about my availability since they want to change LMB. But he did not turn up on that day. After some days Dish TV announced in its website that they are providing more HD channels for a free preview of one month (free preview ends on April 4th). But I did not receive those new set of HD Channels.

I send a mail to Dish TV customer care on April 3rd about this. Then they called me and told me that I am not receiving the new HD channels because I am still using old LMB. They told they would change the LMB on April 4th evening and I would be able to get the new channels.
But I lost the chance of the free preview of the channels so that I could decide on which one to subscribe. I am insisting on this is because Dish TV increased the rental of the base pack to Rs. 450 p.m.

The customer service guy treated me badly and told me that they are not ready to register my complaint. They dont have any role in this.
If I am getting the channels then no need to register the complaint and all.

This is a major concern among the customers since it creates disparity among them. Some customers who changed the LMB early will have the chance of viewing the free preview before deciding on which one to choose.

But I have sent the mail and then the customer care team is not willing to register the complaint.
They are not ready to accept their fault as well.
Changing the LMB is their responsibility and failing which there should some justice to be given to the customer.

Dish TV India Ltd / DishtruHD — Not receiving any of HD channels

Hi,

This is regarding the DISHtruHD DTH bearing VP NO: [protected].I have brought it on 09/04/2011.
Upon so many calls to cust-care [*[protected] and[protected]], finally they installed it on 15/04/2011 and as per their promise, i would be receiving 45 days of free trial on some of the HD channels (appx 5 channels i think so).

Till now, i am unable to view any of the HD channels and when i had called up cust-care, they told the installation of DISH was not correct due to which my set top box unable to receive total 305 channels (it is receiving only 150+ channels only). Also, they told it would be fixed with-in 24 Hrs. They were never active in serving customer from day1. I had called them up repeatedly almost 20+ times and every time they dictate the same thing "Your concern will be addressed in 24 Hrs" and followed by some nonsense "convincing phrases". I really wonder why DISHTV launched its services when they are not capable of doing it so. I would have purchased other vendor HD set top box..

My free trial period almost about to lapse, but still the problem is not fixed. As i got pissed off by DISHTV promptness in resolving the issue by repeated calls, I sent a mail to [protected]@dishtv.in describing my horrible experience and it seems like it still not turned them up.

After all what can i do when they(DISHTV) not responding promptly... So i have left with no choice but to log my experience here so that other people could be little cautious in their DTH choose.

Let me see how they gonna be respond to my problem and upon that, i will take action on them (Becoz, it does not come to me free of cost. I have vested some money to get it installed and taken enormous my personal time on talking to cust-care.).

I also agree. want to know the actual reason for not showing such important new chanal. Request IBN LOKMAT to take this issue further
Dish TV executive to save there SLA they will close the request without solving the issue .. what a great service .. and no one monitor this .. this happen with me twice ..

on march 2010 i was having issue with setup box (reference is 40363807.) and which take one month to resolve anyway get a waver for a month.

And again on 7th April 2011 i have requested for reinstallation of setup box (Request no[protected]. today (10-May-2011) i came to know that my Request has been closed on 13th APRIL without solving the issue and without my knowledge. that was for reinstalling Setup box and the service was chargable 150/- but till now no one come to my place for the same.

I am surprised who your executive close the issue whitout solving and no one there to monitor the case ..

HOW YOU CAN BE SO CARELESS IF YOU CALL YOUR SELF TO BE NO.1 DTH COMPANY ..

Dish TV — Cash Back Plan Fraud

I purchase the Dish TV on Nov.2010 with 100% cash back plan.
But after 5 month my plan closed by dish tv provider.
when purchase the dish tv they told for one year some channels subscription will be free,
but after 5 months no any channel active on the dish.
This is totally a cheating case with a costumer.

Dish TV — Unwanted Calls for recharge Even I am not a user of Dish TV

Dear Sir,

I am not a user of Dish TV and even didn't subscribed for it anytime during my lifetime. But I recieve many phone calls to recharge the connection and also recieve alot of messages from the company for the subscription and validity of the someone else's connection. This has been continued since a very long period. I complained to the Dish TV customer care executive long before and got relaxed as there were no calls regarding but messages were sent, after my complaint.

Now again I am recieving the calls and also number of messages like before. Please help me in removing my contact number from their subscription list so that I dont get any such harrasing calls and messages.

Dish TV — Installation of Set Top Box

Dear Sir,
1. I have brought a Samsung LCD TV with which I received a voucher of Dish TV. The same I have registered on my name (Sandeep Singh) with your customer care executive on 30 May and got a complaint No. 60136697 Set Top Box will be installed within 24 hrs. After 24 hrs. on 1st June when I found nobody has come for the installation again I contacted the customer care executive and this time they told me that “You will receive a call within 20 minutes and our Technician will install your Set Top box within 12 Hrs.
2. On 2nd June I received a message that your complaint has been solved and our Technician will attend you complaint on 4th June by 6 P.M. Then I did not make any call up to 4th June thinking that it may be I busy schedule due to which Technician are busy with some other customers like me and possibly he will attend my complaint on 4th June as commitment has been made.
3. But it is over when again I found nobody for installation of Dish TV. The same thing has been repeated again when I talk to customer service that you will receive a call within 20 minutes and your complaint will be attended within 12 Hrs.
4. Now it is more than a week and nobody has arrived on the address as registered by me. The place where I am residing is not a remote area that nobody will be able to attend my complaint within a week even transport service is extremely good because of the well known Srisailam Temple is just 20 kms. Away from here.
5. So, you are requested to take the necessary action to expedite the installation of my Dish TV Set Top Box.
