No cooling
There is recurring problem of cooling in the refrigiration. After many complaints and follow up the service personnal from the servcice centre and repaired the refrigerator. But again it gone bad and service centre takes 4-5 days to analyse the problem and then searches for the component to be replace and then testing is done for the proper operation of fridge. For all these I have to take the fridge to the centre which is 10 kms away and all costs should be borne by me. What is this customer care. Elctrolux may be aggressively marketing their product but their service to customer is very poor. Still I am suffering from faulty fridge in this peak summer. i have paid Rs. 5000 for repairing ten times

Sub: - Last 8 Months refrigerator is not cooling.

Dear Sir,

I would like to inform that I purchased a Electrolux refrigerator from Ajay Sales Corporation (Palwal State.Haryana) Dt.[protected]. Since eight months I am facing cooling problem and in between months only one time visit of your technical person but he said that will charge minimum Rs.1700/- because gas cylinder is empty but since gas was already filled in cylinder .why should I pay for the gas which was leaked by your technical executive while checking the fridge?

I call to customer care for the complaints for so many time but nobody give me the right & convincible answer .you people are busy in selling your product but you people does not think of after sale & service because of which we customer are suffering badly.

Plz help to sort this issue on urgent basis.

Dear Sir,

The undersigned purchased one 235 litre O-ZONE Frost Free Electrolux-Kelvinator Refrigerator from M/s Kamalia & Sons at Ranchi at a total price of Rs 11800/- on 26.11.2004 vide cash memo no. 337/04-05 dated 26.11.2004. After, purchasing the Refrigerator, the undersigned had to suffer a series of harassments in the hand of your local authorised service centre M/s N.K.Electricals& Refrigeration due to frequent breakdown of the machine which are described below :

1) In the month of october, 2006, the refrigerator stopped functioning and when local authorised service centre - M/s N.K.Electricals& Refrigeration was contacted their mechanic checked and indicated that Evaporator of Refrigerator was damaged and it needed replacement. They said since the warranty period for the whole machine was only one year which had expired, the undersigned will have to pay the total charge. They took away the machine for ten days and when they returned the machine, after repairing, they charged the undersigned Rs 1830.60/ vide their Bill no.1391 dated 18.10.2006. Again within a week the undersigned noticed that lower portion( Refrigertor was two doors type) of Refrigertor was not getting cooled. Hence, the authrised service centre was again contacted and their mechanic again came and indicated that Bi-metal element for defrosting arrangement was to be replaced which would cost Rs 275/-.The mechanic replaced the item and the undersigned had to pay the said amount. Even with the replacement of Bi-metal the lower portion of the Refrigertor was not getting cooled, so tthe mechanic again came and indicated that timer is to be changed which would cost Rs 550/-. The mechanic changed the timer but with that change also, the machine was not functioning properly, the machine was making some sound which was not present when the Refrigertor was purchased. Also, both side of the Refrigertor were not getting warmed equally. After, this incident, the undersiged was forced to lodge a complain to the corporate office of M/s Electrolux, India, and due to their timely intervention, the machine was repaired properly and the undersiged had paid the corresponding expenses at the request of you’re the then Regional Manager Shri Rajesh Sharma who assured that no such breakdown will occur in future.
2) Again, the machine was down on 21.06.2007, local authorised service centre - M/s N.K.Electricals & Refrigeration was contacted who after checking the machine declared that the evaporator was damaged and the gas has leaked out. For repairing the machine they took the machine away and after lot of persuasion they retuned the machine only after twelve days and charged Rs 1600/-.The undersigned tried to contact your Regional Manager Shri Rajesh Sharma but since he was out of station, he could not be contacted and the undersigned had to pay the total money.
3) The machine was again down recently on 24.04.2008.The machine was running but not getting cooled properly so the undersigned contacted Shri Bobby of local authorised service centre - M/s N.K.Electricals & Refrigeration who sent one mechanic Erphan who after checking told the undersiged that there was no problem with evaporator, the machine was not cooling due to leaking of gas.The undersiged indicated that there was no oily liquid near the gas pipe how he was telling that the gas had leaked. To this he told the undersigned that for checking properly from where gas was leaking, the machine had to be taken to their workshop. The undersigned had no other alternative but to agree to their proposal. The next day i.e. on 25.04.2008, the mechanic had taken the machine away and till today i.e even after 10 days, the machine has not been returned to the undersiged after repairing. When the owner of local authorised service centre - M/s N.K.Electricals & Refrigeration- Shri Bobby was contacted he informed the undersigned that Rs 1600 has to be paid since the evaporator was damaged and gas had leaked out. The undersigned tried to remind him that his mechanic had told that there was no problem with the evaporator then how come he was telling that evaporator was damaged and that had to be replaced.To this Shri Bobby told the undersigned that his mechanic does not know anything and if the undersigned did not agree to pay the total money, he could take away the refrigerator knowing fully well the helpless condition of the undersigned. Since there was no alternative, the undersigned had to surrender to his blackmailing. But even after agreeing to his proposal, he has not returned the refrigerator after repairing, till date.

Under the situation stated above the following questions arises in the mind of the undersigned:

1. Why M/s Electrolux, India has failed to provide genuine service to their customers ? Why they are forcing their customers to submit to the blackmailing of their local service centres?
2. What type of Refrigerator machines they are selling to the innocent people like us who even after paying higher price (in comparison to the prices of the refrigerator machines of your competitors) are subjected to series of harassments and sufferings due to the frequent breakdowns of your machines ?
3) Even the local representatives/Regional Managers are also hands in gloves with your local authorised service centre and turn deaf ear to the genuine problems of your customers. Since your the then Regional Manager Shri Rajesh Sharma was requested in the year 2006 to replace the machine which seemed to be defective from the very beginning other wise how it could break down so frequently within a span of only two years from the purchase ? To this he turned a deaf ear to the problem of the undersigned, simply repeated the statement of authorised service agent. and gave a false assurance that there would be no problem in future.

Hence, the undersigned is requesting you to take immediate action and replace the Refrigertor with a new one immediately. Please, also indicate by return e-mail what action you are taking against M/s N.K.Electricals who are resorting to blackmailing of your customers like me.

If the undersigned ( who is posted as Deputy General Manager in MECON Ltd) does not get a favourable response from your end then he willl have to flash it in the Newspapers and tell his friends not to purchase any of your products.

A speedy action from your side will be highly solicited.

Its been more than 2 months that our frige is not workin we have calld Customer care many time but thr was no response. I dont know if you guys undersand the meaning of frige or not....now whow is gona Compensate for all these loses which we had

I had purchased Electrolux washing machine on 27 May 09. My machine is lying idle for the last one month due to negligence of the service staff of this company in Gwalior.They are not able to identify the type of motor fitted in the machine.After frequent calls they come and say some excuse and leave saying they will come with the component, and come with another component. Request forward this complaint to the concerned level in the company.
My fridge not cooling
I purchasse electrolux refrigrator two year ago.Since last month freeze compressor are damage and on dated 17.02.2011 i lodge a complained to the dealer after 10-12 days they come and told me that compressor will be change within 5days but after one month i have steel facing this problem please do something this is not fare with costumer.

electrolux..u rare doing bad..rather worst...i am too facing the same problem of cooling...why the hell is the company not responding??? I've called the customer care no. but still my problem has not been brought up...i think i need to change my refrigerator unless the cooling problem is solved...and if still my complain is not taken u seriously i will ask my friends and neighbor to give up or stop purchasing the refrigerator or any other appliance of your company...

Electrolux — Light is not flashing & rubber tube is out

I had bought Electrolux - Deo Fresh double door fridge from Snehanjali Nalasopara (West) with Bajaj Finance in around end of June - first week of July 2010. I have paid all the EMI's properly. Fridge is not flashing light and the rubber tube packing is coming out from the sides. Cooling is O.K. so far. I request the company person to come and repair the same as it is into warranty period.

Normally the concealed condenser tubes get leakage internally which cannot be repaired and difficult to locate. According to the Electrolux company officials' statement it is not reparable and only option is to fit an external condenser unit altering the whole system. It is not effective also. The company is marketing a product with part which are not repairable by even the manufacturer. Dont recommend anybody for buying electrolux products.

Electrolux — Inadequate cooling

I have purchased electrolux refrigerator about 05 years ago. Since then I had felt that the cooling capacity is far less than required, but somehow we have been managing. Now, the cooling capacity is so low that the milk tray has become ineffective and milk is getting spoilt. We have now no option but to keep the milk in the freezer compartment. The bottom racks are not keeping the food cool and it becomes stale in no time. The vegetable tray is not keeping the vegetables fresh.

I have not been able to get a proper service check up done on the above issues as the response from the company has been very poor.

I would be grateful, if my complaints are addressed on priority.

No cooling. Problem exists very frequently. When service person came to repair fortunately the cooling was normal and he asked us to call again only when it completely died and stopped cooling on the whole. Now condition is the same. Please make some immediate arrangement to solve the problem.

Electrolux — Brand new faulty Micro Oven

I, Sajal Majumdar has puchased a Electrolux Microwoven, Model No.20GBSK on 08/01/2011.I called Electrolux for its demo on 1st week of July 2011, when Electolux people came for demo they found that the machine has a problem with its fan. Fan is not working.They took the complain by themselves and assure us that within 1-2 days fan will be replaced but it was in vein. Then I again lodge a complain on 2nd week of July but the matter was not solved. I again lodge a complain for the same reason this time also the result was same as earlier. I again lodged a complain on 26 th July 2011, after that complain, on 29th July 2011 Electrolux people came with a fan which does not match with my micro oven configuration.Inspite of knowing the model No. of the micro oven how the electrolux people came with a wrong fan.If this is the condition of a very new micro oven then what will happen if i use the same micro oven for year after year.

I am very surprised to see that company like Electrolux is offering so poor service to its customer.

I request Electrolux to take the matter as serious one and replace my micro oven with a new one as soon as possible.

Electrolux Refrigerator — Complaint No. 8001211356

I have bought a new 710 Lt. refrigerator from reliance mart gurgaon in oct-2010. on 2nd of Aug It stopped working and i booked a complain on the same date complaint no. [protected]. first of all the after calling for 4 continuous days the executive arrived and said that there is some problem in PCB and its going to be resolved in two working days. Now since then i am calling daily at[protected] but they r not picking up my phone. i also do have three cell nos of their executives [protected] / [protected] & [protected]. out of which two nos. are switched off most of the times and the third one is on leave on maximum occasions.

Its 10th already and still i am not getting any proper responce from their side.

Confused and dont understand what to do.

Electrolux — New refrigerator stopped.

A new Electrolux FF Refrigerator 240L EDL-254Z,Black purchased from LOTUS,13 Sneh Nagar Main road-indore Bill No.04R1101091 dated 31.10.2011.
Refrigerator stopped working on 30.11.2011 and complaint was launched at Electrolux ref PIND[protected] on 01.12.2011 as per incharge Mr.Pankaj(Contact No.[protected]). fan & motor are not available hence on receipt it will be attended.Inspite of repeated reminders till date i.e.08.11.2011 it is not attended and also the response of incharge is not satisfactory.

Kindly look into the matter.
