    i have a saving bank a/c at stephen house branch ,kolkata(west bengal) in HDFC Bank. I applied for net banking and phone banking facilites to bank, after few days they send me a SMS on my mobile that "your hdfc bank netbanking pin has been dispatched to your mailing address". But till date i have not received any thing.i also contacted to bank,but they not responded.and the same bitter experience have in DEMAT & TRADING A/C.

    Dear Sir/Madam Subject :-updating of PAN no. and mandate facility I have an current A/c. having no.[protected] naming SHANTI TEXTILES in your Budhlada distt. Mansa (pb.) branch from one and half year. I had applied for updating my PAN no.and mandate facility to my A/c. in respective branch at least five months ago.       It is to put your the kind attention on the bizarre transactions happening these days in the HDFC bank. Without providing proper clarification they are pulling out money from the saving account to fulfill the unjustified claim on the credit card.

      It all stated with a credit on call in the month of 4th Apr’06. After a prolonged follow up for foreclosure, I finally received the letter stating about the current outstanding of the loan dated on 11th May’ 06. Immediately (16th May’06 cheque no 739878) I paid the amount and foreclosed the loan. Surprisingly I was still receiving the statements but no body from call center able to clarify on that. In the mean time I received (5th June 06) a missive stating that the loan has been foreclosed. Though it was foreclosed from my end but astonishingly it was not pre-closed from the Bank end and the statement was reaching me month on month. The only touch point that remained open for me was the call center to lodge a complaint but it was dumb enough to explain the exact scenario. Though I was paying all the principal credits taken by me after that, but the accrued sum was getting accumulated.

      Collection dept in the mean time started out-calling but “what for” was still unanswered. The overall intra-department functionality was so pathetic that no body resolved my complaint except saying in unison “payment is due”. It was awesome to experience the double standard of the bank - On one side they are sending letter about the foreclosure of the loan, on the other hand they are giving conscious effort in increasing the total outstanding by not foreclosing at bank end.

      In this juncture I stopped using the card and waited for the resolution. Till date the resolution is still pending but bank has internally pulled away Rs 40741.41 amount from my saving account in two phases. Till date I have received not a single communication stating these freaky transactions. I have already sent a missive to Managing Director HDFC Bank too on that, but yet to receive any clarification.

      Therefore need your intervention to get back this money in right shape. In this regard I would like to point out the way employees of HDFC bank communicates- rather than service sector it seems like a “command sector” with all sort of “false words” in wrong way during the communication.

      Hence it is almost like a nightmare for customers of HDFC bank to have a saving account with them, as it is working like having a thief inside your house that can pull out any amount without notification.

      there is unwanted withsdrawls going out of my account and actually where the amount has to be paid as an emi amount it is said tht it is not ben paid off.

      I need a bacnk statement sent to my account as soons as possible. Would request to send me bacnk statmement reguarily every month as the icici bank do for they customers i have icici accoount never had such a problem.

      i need a back statement to be sent to me as soons as possible.

      I had given complaint vide complaint no.[protected] dt 06.05.08 to bank regarding the non reimbursement of loan amount & deduction of E.M.I from my a/c ag the loan which is not disburse to till date . But no body at banking side to listen my problem & the which to be solved by bank with in two days not solved till date & bank had again given me the new complaint no[protected] dt 10.05.08 & no satisfactory answered from bank side please look in to the matter.

      Your Udaipur branch is most unresponsive. You keep on telephoning them and they would not pick up phone specially after 3p.m. Gates are closed after 3.30p. and even challans cannot be collected thereafter. Is it a bank or some school? Customer gets irritated when his calls are not attended.

        Since last three months some charges for Real Player is being charged on my card account. i informed them in the first month itself still again same charges were debited on my card account for 3-4 months and finally i told them to block my card.

        i sent a dispute redressal form also for the first month transaction and bank told me that they are enquiring on the transaction and same will be reversed but till now nothinh has happened. i have lost more than 3000/- rs due to these transactions.

        if required all the communication between bank and my self thru email can be sent to you for resolving the issues.

          Was in the process of getting a new car loan from HDFC.These guys after approving the loan want a signature on a form stating that 'i have defaulted on the payment and my car can be taken away'...when i objected to this they say that if one doesnt sign this then they cannot disburse the loan even though they are taking 3 cheques as security.Would like to know if other banks do the same thing.

          I am also having problem with HDFC bank, i have applied for 3 years loan but they have done for 4 years, this really sucks.
          I was promised that within 12 hours I will be able to buy new car as they can get loan sanctioned up to 15 Lacs with just a copy of PAN card. The person dealing in car loans promised 12% p.a. interest and time limit <12 hrs. Till now 2 days have passed and status is -
          1. Sir ! Interest rate has revised and it will be 12.25%.
          2. You will have to get car insurance from us. It's a condition.
          3. You will have to get car from Apra automobile Gurgaon and not from Competent automobile where I am getting more discount.
          Now, I can't tolerate such a useless bank and its employees. I will buy my car tomorrow on 100% cash payment.

          Hi All,

          I would like to bring to your notice about the working of HDFC bank. Do not know how they process Car loans with such a poor DSA'a who don't even know how to dealt with their customer. I am software engineer by profession and belong to a family of lawyers.
          Today i received a call from[protected], a man on the other side start shouting and using abusive language. he even warn me that my car will be taken off in next 24 hours. this was all due to delay in their installment, because of shift of my profession. I told them to collect it from my place several times but no one appeared in time and start bothering me at awkward timings.
          They have even called up my friend threatning him of his belongings.
          I am going to file up a complaint with Consumer court and to bring to notice with general public that HDFC BANK SUCKS !!!
          HDFC bank is an irresponsible bank. I took a loan from the bank and closed the dues correctly without any defaults/delay (48 post paid EMI, s). But after ccompleting it the RTO authorities are not accepting the no dues certificates saying there is no company seal. When I approached the concerned bank they say that they cannot issue as they have no seal!!!?????. and say they cannot help. How arrogant and irresponsible fellows.

          i am surprised to see such a complains against the bank which is called best in service industry now., i have applied for car loan last year, & as bank pomised i was able to release my CAR within 24 hrs from my request.
          I think in most of time problem is with the person we dealing & not the bank policy, Best way to resolve it either contact in branch for any service OR complain at phone banking/email management, they will surely help you out.

          HDFC CARD LOAN — Loan Insurance money

          Dear Sir

          I had applied for car loan 3 month back .
          For that i have deposited 8 PDC which include one Sureksha Insurance of Bajaj Allianze PDC too.

          But due to some problem from the bank side this loan was not passed but then also HDFC Bank cleared my Insurance PDC .

          Since then i have been calling HDFC bank branch offical to repay my sureksha policy amount but till today it has not been deposited in my account.

          So kindly look into the matter immediately as it has been a matter of grave concern for me.

          hdfc bank AUTO LOAN — REGARDING NON PAYMENT

          Regarding non-payment of car loan of Rs.7321/- and whereas I
          have already paid Rs.250800/- on the loan of Rs.200000/- till to date and ready to pay rRs.7321/-. But Still issuing threatening
          letters for the consfication of the vehicle vide letter dated 02/08/2008. AUTO LOAN No.257023 DL3CZ3679
          I am applied the car loan on tuseday i.e. 24th March, 2009. As per HDFC banck policy loan will approved within maximum 2 working days. All the formalities already completed but till date, i.e. 31st March, 2009 approval awaited from HDFC bank.So we can'nt plan or buy a own car. My best suggestion for all the concern peoples, kindy trust all the other bank excetp HDFS.
          your banks recovery asgent had seezed my car on 15th may 2009 that time I was agree to pay my remaining over due outstanding amount second day he also told me you pay this amount I will give your car back to you. after that when I go to your bank your bank manager mr. Ravikant Wane has treated me very bad and said to me four close the account I was requested him to take the outstanding amount and give me car back but he dont co operate to me. But that time I have mentaly very disappointig I dont understand what can I do live or die ? Please if you can help please help me.

          While applying for a car loan on 17.06.2009, I was promised 90% of car loan money. On 23rd they rang me up and told me we have sanctioned only 70% of the loan. I told them I can't help. But they say, be happy with what u got!!!
          HDFC Bank Complaint dated 08/072009
          I Hisamuddin Mohiuddin Kazi bearing an A/C No. 14799639 has taken a loan from your bank under USED CAR LOAN for 29 months with an EMI of Rs.6280/- 1) It took long time for the process than the duration which was promised to me from the HDFC Bank. 2) I got the Pay Order from the Bank of Rs.1, 40, 000/- which I deposited into My SBI Bank, East Street Branch, Camp. but when I went to withdraw the following amount from the bank, the following Amount has not been cleared because of 'Some Other Reason' as confirmed from SBI Bank, then I spoke to the HDFC Bank, with Mr.Saurav, Mr. Jagtap and Manager Mr.Granvil, but they all took my request on grant and told me to Check from my SBI Bank as it is their fault, then again I went to Meet my bank manager who confirmed the problem that it is from HDFC Bank itself and was ready to complaint against HDFC Bank as they were spoiling his (SBI) Bank's name. By that time from whom I have taken the Car (Hyundai Accent Car No. MH.06 M9102) was seating on my head for Payments. But no one was there to understand my problem form HDFC Bank. Then after requesting so many times the HDFC Bank has deposited my Amount. Actually I deposited almost 3 times my cheque in my SBI A/c but the following amount was not cleared and so My name was spoiled in the Business Market for which I am paying till date.3) Before the withdrawal of the following Amount I got an SMS on my mobile phone. (No. +91-[protected]) that Please pay the following Amount Due of Rs.6, 280/- this made a real joke of me.4) All the required papers were given by me on time, but when the First EMI was supposed to be cleared from my SBI A/C through ECS Clearance, which was not done on time from HDFC Bank, the following authorities from HDFC Bank called me that your cheque has been bounced and so I cross checked from SBI bank, which showed that none of the cheque for clearance has come and there was sufficient Amount of RS. in my A/C required for the clearance. They HDFC Bank authorities called me several time for the following issue, I respectfully answered their each query, but they took my issue as a petty one, even they forced me to pay the penalty charges for which I was not liable. The Managers from the HDFC Bank personally requested me to Give a Cheque of the following Amount, and accepted that it is their Mistake and promised me that it will not happened next time. 5) But again this month the following amount has not been deducted from my A/C. 6) The transfer papers which I were supposed to get from HDFC bank after 10 Days were still not given to me after keeping the follow-up from HDFC Authorities till date, it has been more than 2 months now that I have not received my Car Papers. From couple of weeks I am constantly in touch with Mr. Jagtab and Mr. Saurav, but they just fooled me around. They told me to keep the follow with Mr.Prince who handles the R.T.O. issues. I called MR. Prince too but he has not answered to my call properly, but who am I to do all the followups from all these guys. Today Dated 08/072009 I was promised that I will get the papers, but when I called Mr. Prince who told me to send someone from HDFC Bank to collect my Car Papers. I just want to ask that who is he to order me for these petty issues which are not part of my work and then I called Mr. Jagtap and Mr. Saurav they told me that I will get my Car Papers by 11:30 am at my Office but they have not kept their word and so I called them several times, I was told to collect the Papers from Bhandarkar Road Branch, which is far away from my Office, I requested them to drop the papers to my Office in Camp, he Mr. Saurav told me that he is coming to my office by 4:30 pm which he has not come till 9:20 pm, He also avoided my calls since then.********** I have been emotionally, mentally and physically tortured. Till date I was unable to know the valid reason from the HDFC Bank authorities. It has seriously affected my business relations with the party to whom the payment was suppose to be done. My name has been spoiled for the mistake which is not done by me and definitely it will affect me in future relations.

          I sincerely think that I should take this matter in a Legal way by taking the Bank and the following Authorities to the Court of Law under Consumer Act. and filling an FIR in Police Station for all the harassment is all possible ways which was done by Bank and its Authorities.

          I kindly request you to look in the matter at your earliest and please save me and Bank going to the Court and as well as media.

          Dear Sir,
          I M a central govt employee and applied for car loan thru your esteemed bank.But my applcation was delayed several times citing amazing excuses and lastly turned down.What i this, a serving soldier (IAF) ia asked 2 undergo so many formalities whereas a civilian is sanctioned loan in few and simple steps.I m an existing coustmer of your bank for the last 4 years .It is my advise and request 2 you that Don't paste and advertise ads claiming 2 provide loan in minutes and with minimal documentation, It really hurts.
          I want to pay my outstanding car loan dues to your bank in one installment. Please suggest me how much extra charges to be paid by me. My loan was for five years started from June 2006 and being terminated in June 2011.

          Auto Loan from HDFC bank — non sanction of auto loan from HDFC bank

          Dear Sir,

          Recently i had approached HDFC bank, for a auto loan and inspite of having a pre approved loan of over 6 lacs i was denied and to my shock i was informed that my name was listed in CIBIL due to non payment on account of 4 credit card amounting to Rs.35K.

          This is to inform that for the last 3 years i am without any credit card. I don't have the slightest clue of my due, of which bank are the credit card and what are my dues. There are no Credit Card statement also sent to me.

          Request you to give me the details of my credit card dues, so that i can approach the authorities and seek clarification regarding dues claimed by them and if they are genuine, the same would be paid by me.

          Seek you help to first get a reply to confirm if my name is on the CIBIL list of credit card defaulter, and if yes, to give me clarity of my credit card dues. Waiting for your prompt response

          Yes its true this bluddy bank is playing with the ppl and their own customers. I am also among dos ppl who was pissed by HDFC bank gurgaon. I cld on cust care n askd them abt loan and tld them ma salary . They said i can take the loan . I am on rented in gurgaon. They askd me collect too mny docs, i did all that, so wen their executive came, he denied to take the docs and said my salary is less. Then i applied on my cousins name, she had pre-approved limit of 5 lacs and HDFC says for such custs documentation is less and processing is very quick, but its all lie. I applied for car loan gave all the docs to them, after 20 days they said offer of pre-approval is over from my cousins account, so application will go fon normal procedure. it after 1 month dey said, they are not reliable custs as we can run with the car n will default even though we we ready to make downpayment of 1.50 lacks, then said they will try to get approved if we will hv our own home in gurgaon, then askd me to get a nominee which i did after more 15 days denied the loan . it took them 2 months to decide weather we eligible or not. My god..HDFC sucks

          HDFC Bank Ltd — Auto Loan already closed but not updated

          I had taken a Auto loan from HDFC in month of Oct-2009, amount 4.40 lacs, but same had been closed due to vehicle not avilable with dealer, and bank had disbursed my case without any intimation. case has already been resolved by bank, but case is still showing pending in CIBIL. and when I gone to another finance for laon, he said me you have one auto loan , kindly give me track recrod. Hence kindly updated the status on urgent basis on CIBIL.

          hdfc bank AUTO LOAN — Non refund of my EMI wrongly detected by HDFC Bank Safdarjang Enclave New Delhi under my loan acc no 10060658.

          I had opted autocar loan from HDFC bank in Dec 2005 for period of 5 yr,complete payment of loan amount done in 22 Dec 2009,got NOC by 07 jan 2010.But HDFC bank deducted Jan month EMI of Rs 5660 on 8 jan 2010,without informing me.I approach the bank many tme times but they admited the mistake and assured me i shall be getting the amount so wrongly detected with in 30 days.I am sorry to say neither the amount cardited in account nor they are behaving positively in this matter.It seems that they are misleading/misguiding/Harashing me to refund back that EMI amount.
          I have no other alternate but to approch our good self kindly to take imidiate action on my complaint,and direct HDFC back to refund my amount with instrest till date.

            I am sanal,holding a salary A/C with HDFC bank -MG Road, Bangalore.

            I had applied for a new Gold Debit card and got the same by 23 Dec’07.They blocked the old card after issuing the new card. I have not received the ATM PIN number till now.



            I called customer care 4 times, last one on 25th Jan. Every time they we not giving a proper response or even ready to give a complaint number. Further I send mails to the relationship manager Mr. Ashish Baijal [ashish.[protected]@hdfcbank.com] on January 09, 2008 and also to HDFC Bank Support [[protected]@hdfcbank.com].



            There was no response from the relationship manager, and only an automated acknowledgement from HDFC Bank Support stating Your query is being attended to. We will revert to you within 3 working days.


            Still now did not recieve the PIN.

            Can anybody from HDFC senior customer service person help me . I am really shocked & i am waiting for the positive reply from HDFC customer service.

            Dear sir,

            I am approaching you in connection with the problem which i am facing for changing my add in my demat acc no 16443159 which is linked with my saving acc no[protected] in your bank.The various problems which i have been trying to resolve since last one month are.

            1 My demat account was closed for the want of my pan card which i submited one month back at ajmer branch.Eaven after submitting and waiting for almost 20 days my demat acc was not restarted for which again i had to make large no of calls and trip to your bank at ajmer.

            2 on 18 feb after lots of requests and persuation my demat account was restarted but address still remained old one which was not changed.Because of which my cheque worth rs 20000/ is still floating at my old add for which i am again making lot calls.It all happened because the documents for the change of address in my demat account ,which i personally submitted at ajmer branch were not handeled properly.You will appreciate that on the same day i had also submitted documents for change of add in my saving account,which was changed after few days but in demat account it was not changed.I dont understand logic behind this .

            3 I again approached customer care for this problem and they want me to start complete prosses of changing add once again.I told customer care that please change my add in demat account as it has already been changed in my saving acc. I had requested them through my registered Email ID with them.They want me to send latest bank statement of saving account to chane my add in demat acc, which i fail to understand why cant the take own ther own, being part of the same organisation.

            4 My next submission is that if my demat account was suspended for six years for the want of my pan card, then why annual maintenance charges were deducted and to my surprise, i am still paying annual maintenance chareges for my suspended demat account.

            5 I NEVER EXPECTED SUCH TYPE OF RESPONSE FROM YOUR BANK.Yo are once again requested to change my add as per my saving acc add, as being army persons we cant produce documennts as desired by you for changing address ,because of our frequnet posting.Sice i am having saving account in your bank please tell me if the same accunt can be converted to three in one account for trading and demat.

            The letter for change of address has been given to the BSNL office at Kodambakkam on 15/12/2008. But the line has not been shifted from old address to the new address til now. But today 2 staffs from BSNL came to the new address at around 4 pm with fully drunk when my mother was alone and went around all the rooms unnecessarily and asked my mother to make a hole on the door so that they can do the wiring work. As she told them you people bring the wire up to our door step and leave it we will put a hole on the door and make a connection. But the staffs said you make a hole first then we will come and give the connection and left, without saying anything about the connection. Considering the case please take necessary action against the people involved in this.

            HDFC Bank — Not received the new gold debit card and the old card has been blocked.

            I hold salary account with this bank. I have applied for a gold debit card, 3 months back. Two weeks ago I have received a SMS saying my gold debit card has been dispatched. Till date I have not received the gold debit card. Moreover they have blocked my old debit card. This people has one of the worst services in India. I would advice, never to bank with this people. I am going to close all my accounts with this bank as soon as I can.
            It seems good to book complaint on this portal but there should be explanations/ reply from the concerned person /deptt so that we also know that some action is being taken on the complaints.
            I agree with him.
            As a matter of fact, I am also one of the victim.
            I am HDFC corporate Salary account holder. I was told by one of the representative from HDFC Bank that GOLD DEBIT Card is completely free of charge & he insisted that I should have it.
            Since it was free of charges, I accepted.

            HDFC Debit Card/Credit Card — Bad Quality of Service Rendered By Your Bank

            I would like to bring to your notice about the service I have received till date.

            1. Your bank has penalised me for a sum of Rs. 350/- a number of times when I had insufficient funds in my account & a cheque bounced twice in the month of Feb’09 for an amount of Rs. 980/- and later in the month of March or April ‘09 for an amt of Rs. 6000/- even though I applied for the instant alert at your Bandra branch nearly a year ago... I received no message on my cell about my funds as I could have just walked into branch very near to my place & deposited the funds.
            2. I had applied for a trading account nearly 6 months ago at the help desk set up by your bank at my office (Intelenet) even after submitting all my documents I have not received any information about the same.
            3. In addition to the above I had a credit card which I hardly ever used in the last 7-8 months. I did not receive any statement but was promptly charged a penalty for delayed payments. But still I paid whatever amount I was aware of. For the final payments as well I am told there is still some amount I have to pay. How can one make a delayed payment when one does not receive any intimation on the same? On checking with the credit card team, I was told that statements were sent to me and signed by someone named Mahesh. There is no one by that name in my family. How can some outsider be allowed to receive documents such as this. Why don’t you ask Mr. Mahesh to make my payments? Had even asked for a No Objection Certificate from Bank, was promised on the same but till date I have not received anything. Spoke to Shreefa (customer servicing credit card) on 15/06/09 call reference [protected] stating wld receive NIL BALANCE in the coming statement. I am only hoping for the same.
            4. The latest misfortune, was when I had applied for a duplicate Debit Card on 12/05/09 and was told that I would receive it in 7 working days instead I have not yet received the card. I had put a second written application on 29/05/09. The card is not yet despatched from your end as yet. But I received my Pin Number just 2 days back and that too by sms, I have not yet received anything by post. Whenever I call the phone banking or visit your branch at Santacruz (E) …I am told to “Log A Complaint” …So when the mess is from your end, we have to simply “Log A Complaint” but if the mistake is from my end, I am penalised financially. Why should I as a customer be financially penalised and not you as a banker???
            5. Further still I had received a sms from one of the Bank Manager a couple off weeks back that he would take action if there are any more cheque clearing errors….what about the major error from your end ??

            I am not the only one who is upset with the service you provide, many of my colleagues too are frustrated with your Bank services & would love to close our accounts.

            I am very sorry to say that your service has drop down big time. You have taken your customers for granted as you have too many to handle.
            i have HDFC salary account from two years. i have womens gold card from past 6 months. i have been calling customer care and requesting credit card PIN number. every time i have been told they thave raised a ticket and i will be getting it within 7 working days.             I unfortunately skipped credit card payment of June month (only rs 800) and in july i have received call from Call center. that time i am not aware that i have missed my payment, and i told call center executive that i need to check my statement, and in between i went out of town and not able to checks my statement for 1 day,

            On 10th July 2009 (4.15 P.M ) i have received call from HDFC bank Credit card dept

            Executive name Sameer Shake(ID number 5623), and he has given really bad time for me,

            1. He is very aggressive and giving commands while talking to me
            2. His attitude is really very very cheap and I feel that HDFC bank has really poor recruitment process
            3. As I told him I will pay amount and bank has already charged me extra rupees and he can not command me I will pay full money on coming Wednesday(15th july) he is not at all corporative .
            4. if this is the way you are treating with your clients, then pls I waana submit my credit card today is self,

            Let me know the process, how to submit credit card. I will pay full amount that time it self.

            sir... around dec2008, i NEERAJ.K.PATIL applied for a educational loan amounting to 4.8 lakhs in order to support the completion of my PGDM programme in IFIM B-School, BANGALORE.
            While the formalities and documents were being processed, I was asked the date of re-payment as to when i would start re paying the loan. My course gets completed on june 2010, and as per the norms available I opted for 1 year time after the completion of the course . But now the bank person from HDFC is saying that i am supposed to start the re payment by april 2010 which is not only prior to the re payment date but also prior to the completion of my course. How can one start the re paying when he is still studying.
            The person who was regularly in touch with me to exchange cheques, his name is ISMAIL. I asked him what and why is such a thing happening. He said that I need to talk to the manager itself regarding this. When i tried to speak to the manager over phone, he never picked the call. Iresisting this, I went to the branch where he works, the bank people did not let me meet him giving rubbish reasons even when he was there in the bank itself. The managers name is VENKATESH RAJAGOPALAN.
            These both work in the branch which is located in CMH road, Indiranagar, Bangalore.

            I'm a salay A/C holder. I had applied for Debit PIN 3weeks ago. But yet I've not received it. On making call to Phone banking they said that the PIn had got returned due to some reason and the same has been dispached to Home Branch. So they asked me collect the same form the branch office. But on visiting the branch, the consern person said he had not received any in my name.From there I made Call to Phone banking they again said it is available in branch. The consernd person asured me that he'll make an enquiry of it for that he took down my no also. But yet there is no responce from them. So I made call to Phone banking they asked to reapply for PIN.

            My complaint was registered on 13.09.09 vide complaint number DEL 120388, i was assured through bank call center executive, that Rs.9000/- which were taken back by ATM machine of Canara Bank will be added back in my saving account within 12 days, but when i called again at call center that today is day 12, and still my saving account is not updated, the executive advised me to go to any HDFC bank branch and fill up a form for quick action, accordingly i went to Panchsheel park HDFC branch and filled the form, but the personal banker told me that this will take 22 days which is very much frustating for me

            So its my request to please please and kindly make a quick arrangement for my solve of my problem already it is 12th day of my complaint

              I hv taken a personal loan from HDFC Bank vide Perosnal Loan Account No[protected], of Rs. 1 Lac @ 18%.

              While the bank is providing the same loan to other collegues of mine at 14%.

              After asking to the bank, Bank shows its helplessness regarding this issue.

              Actually they dont have any fixed guidelines, If India such a big bank dont follow the guidelines, then nothing can be done.


              Any way i hv done a complaint upto Head Office, also. But no one is ready to listen.

              This is a complaint regarding the poor manerism/behaviour of a HDFC Staff.

              I personaly visit to the bank and deposite my cash and i ask for the net banking password then the mam told me you fill the form and it will delievered to you within 15 days and by the time she ask me mam are you using any credit card i said no then she told me mam our company has offer a women credit card free for life time i said give me the form i wil discusss it from my parents then let you know or personaly submitt the form in your branch as my office is very near by she told me ok from that day onward i found i recieved 15 callls per day regarding that you have taken a form of credit card can we send our executive to collect it i said no i personaly submitt and again the same thing repeating from my home and i am countinues recieveibg call from bank or DSA after deniying it so many times and know they know my balance in my account also why u people disclose these personal information to the tellecallers and if person denies so many times and then also u haress the customer on their mobile as well as their home .pls do something for this unless i will take a strict action against your staff.

              I am residing in Lucknow (Hazratganj) and my younger brother is studying in Army Institute of Technology, Pune.. He is holding an account in HDFC bank, Pune. He frequently need money as he is in his last semester, so, we often need to deposit small amount of money when demanded, But, every time i am depositing money even 1k, the bank cashier is deducting Rs. 100 as the transaction charge. To the best of my knowledge no other private or government bank charge money for this kind of service.
              It is requested that if any such policy is given in your bank's terms and conditions should be highlighted or displayed on the cash deposit slip. if no such policy is there then why the bank employees are deducting that money.                 I happen to take the loan from HDFC in the last year Dec 2007. Sorry to say but I had the most horrifying experience with the bank till date. I happen to read there slogan in there website "HDFC is an organisation that strives for excellence, with the twin objectives of enhancing customer satisfaction and shareholder value” , and in my personal experience this is totally untrue ,there executives don’t know to fulfill the customer satisfaction, forget about enhancing it. And I have experienced this not once but twice in a row!!

                Here’s a brief of my issue.
                I had approached HDFC in the month of Oct 07 for Home Loan , after selecting the Project I requested the bank to confirm whether the Project is been approved by the HDFC, so that I can proceed with all the formalities. Your sales guy after checking confirmed me that the Project is been approved by bank and I can proceed with the formalities, accordingly I submitted all the required documents with the bank. Even after submitting all the required documents , I didn’t get my file number for more than 15 days, after constant follow ups I get to know that the project was NEVER APPROVED.
                Based on the sales guy confirmation I had also made the initial payment to the builder. Am surprised when the project was never approved why the sales guy gave me the wrong information!! To top it up with the problem, I was never provided the right information , sales guy…the bank people tried to avoid me than helping out. I had to personally drop in to the bank and meet the legal to know the details and he informed me that the project was on hold from long and it was never approved. Considering it as a human error on part of sales guy , I asked the bank to proceed with my loan application without property being selected. And I would have the new project selected shortly.

                During the mean time my builder (initial Project) got his project approved, this gave me relief from selecting new project. I asked the bank to proceed with the loan disbursement. Since this project is in under construction state we requested for part disbursements. We had our first disbursement done
                Now when the builder approached the bank for his second disbursement, the sales guy confirmed me that it would be done by 31st Jan08. However till first week there was no news of cheque. Does the courier services with in a city takes so long??? When I followed up with the bank, they said the cheque is already been dispatched and has been received by the builder. When I asked them to give me the courier number, I get a response from the executive “I don’t courier from my desk to give you the courier number, the cheque is received by builder please check with them”. In realty the cheque was never dispatched and couriered to the builder, it was lying with the bank only.

                I have lost the credibility and integrity with HDFC and its people. Each and every person I have interacted in HDFC has given me the wrong information. Nobody tried to help me out, in turn I have to always call up them to get details and update. No one bothered to keep me informed, rather they showed their frustration on me whenever I have called them, they either ignore my call and don’t any courtesy to call back or give me the false information to avoid.

                I’m afraid if I would like to continue my loan account with HDFC anymore!! Every experience with them is making me to think to close my home loan account.

                  Dear Sir/Madam
                  i had withdrawn Rs 50000 through an a/c payee cheque on dated 07.02.08 and was shocked to see the quality of the currency issued by the branch.
                  bank is issuing unsorted curreny to the customer, hence violation of the RBI guidelines is observed:
                  In single packet of Rs[protected]x100)
                  (1) issuing cut and mutilated notes
                  (2) issuing ashoka pillar notes denomination of Rs. 100 (eg: no. 6PF274880, 3LU470225, 8BC406988, 8UR499750)

                  this problem also faced while taking withdrawl through ATM at M.G.Road Agra.

                  several times same has been communicated to the branch officials as well as ATM guard - complaint register not provided for complaint.

                  this is an serious issue, the same is grossly neglected by the branches located at Agra.

                    Dear Sir,
                    When I got the conformation call for the credit card the customer care person said there is a offer of 1 year free medical insurance from bajaj alianz. Since it is free i agreed for it, but when i recieved the 1st month statement there was a bill for Rs. 4590 immediately i called customer care and informed they said to drop a letter for cancellation i did the same again within 15 days i recieved one more bill with Rs. 5125 again I called to customer care they said to send a mail. From then i am repeatedly sending mail & complaining to the customer care but they are telling it will be cancelled but still it is not done. I don't want to loose the card but if this continues please cancel the card. Please do the needfull as soon as posible thanks

                      This is to inform you about the sudden closure of my current account (#) on 24th January, which was linked to my savings/salary account #.
                      Since the weekend of 26th January, I had stopped seeing the current account in the Accounts list on the Net Banking menu. I did not react to this for a period of 3 days, under the impression that this was due to a major server upgrade that was scheduled at your end during the weekend. Finally, on 31st Jan I wrote an email to your support center demanding an explanation for the disappearance of my account. The reply on the next day said that my identity could not be verified, although this is the same email address that is registered with you. On the same day, I posted the same query through net banking (ref. P[protected].
                      On the evening of 2nd February, I received a statement for the closed account mentioning that the account had been closed due to ‘Amount due from you + Penal Int’. On receiving this, I called Phone-Banking to enquire about the same. Since the phone-banker couldn’t resolve the issue, I demanded to escalate the call to a supervisor. The supervisor registered the complaint & assured of a reply by 3pm on Monday. After my call was made, an email was dropped by Silvy Abraham from your branch at the registered ID informing me about the closure. At 6 pm on Monday, the 4th, the supervisor (Ms. Meghna) told me that someone from the branch would be speaking to me this evening; but no one called.
                      I am extremely disappointed by all this & request you to please consider the following facts:
                      1. Failure to reverse ATM Charges
                      The ATM card had been used at another bank’s ATM sometime during September or October due to which a charge of Rs.28 was made. Despite of the allowance of 10 free transactions at any bank’s ATM every month, this charge was not reversed for 3 months. Following this, interest was capitalized on this amount for 3 consequent months.
                      2. Expected inflow of cash in the closed account
                      I was expecting a re-imbursement from my employer, M/s Larsen & Toubro Infotech Ltd., towards the end of January after a 4 month long procedure. Due to this sudden closure, I am going to have to face inconvenience to have this amount credited back to my account.
                      3. Lack of customer concern
                      Since this account was linked to a salary account and under a corporate scheme; the bank should have shown some concern by communicating about the closure. I wouldn’t have hesitated to transfer Rs.30 from my salary account to avoid any further chaos. Such unprofessional behavior wasn’t expected from the bank with repute.
                      4. Repeated issues with the bank
                      I had filled the form for this account on 19th July, 2007 and my account wasn’t processed for the next 45 days. Moreover, I was made to re-fill a form towards the end of August. Due to this, there was a delay in receipt of my first salary, an event which has unspoken importance. Though I had not escalated the issue at that time, I now believe that I should have.
                      Despite of having an option to open my account with another leading bank, I chose HDFC Bank due to its trusted brand image. But I am sorry to inform you that over the last six months, I have received great disappointment from the services offered.
                      I hereby request you to look into the matter & re-open my current a/c retaining the a/c no. as I am expecting some more payments to that account. Also ensure that any transactions that failed due to this closure are completed as soon as possible. Please resolve the matter at the earliest.

                      This is not for money but logically why should i loose for there nonsense problems.

                      This is on behalf of my wife who has an account with HDFC Bank, Mumbai.. She has a credit card of HDC Bank as well. Earlier there were some dispute regarding the amount due on her credit card. We had sent reconciliations of the amount due and numerous letters. We requested the bank to sit across the table to reconcile any differences. But the bank did not respond at all. Meanwhile, her salary bank account has been frozen by the bank without even intimating us and the bank threatens to debit the account for the outstanding dues. The collections head at Andheri E refuses to respond favourably to any efforts from our side to reconcile and unfreeze the account. I am sure the bank does not have any authority to unilateraly decide freezing of the bank account without intimation. Can you help me in this matter and the future course of action. Regards Shriram

                      HDFC Bank — All the amount which was in my account suddenly disappear

                      I have HDFC salary account. My salary got credited on 01/11/2009 and the neat day whole amount of Rs. 17000.48 got dissappear. I did'nt withdraw or used my money any where. When i removed the mini statement it is not reflecting any transaction of the same amount. I asked the bank they told me that someone has done online shopping of the whole amount at once. When i asked them to give me the details as where the amount has been transferred or given and where the shopping is done, they said that they don't have any details for the same. Please help me.

                      My name is Divyesh.D.Vora .I have a Complain against the Employees. Before 6 month, I have tried to transfer my A/C from Jamnagar Branch to Rajkot Main Branch. I have also tried to add my Saving A/c to Preferred A/c. My Firm A/c is preferred. I have talked my RM who is held my firm’s A/c to Add my name in my Firm A/c.He talked me to open a new A/c and then convert new A/c to Preferred A/c.When he talled me the close the old A/c and open a new A/c, and I will suggest to transfer my A/c from Jamnagar to Rajkot. He talled me OK for the transfer and I submit the Transfer Form to RM.After 5-6 days I call the RM for my a/c is transfer or not. He can’t pick up my phone. Then I go to bank and ask the RM WHY MY A/C IS NOT TRANSFER? He told me the form is misplaced and I also sign a new form and get it to the RM.Then after I go to bank after 15 days, he talled me I forget your form and say SORRY. Then He talled, in some days I will transfer you’re a/c.But he can’t process to my A/c and when I ask him WHY MY A/C IS NOT TRANSFER? He tells me I forget your form in my DRAWER. Then after he can’t start the process to transfer the A/c. Now I am tried from him .In now a days, I go to bank regularly and ask my a/c is transferred or not. He can’t give me the reply about my a/c is not transferred or not. Then in November I will repeat the process to transfer my a/c.I will go to bank Many times but operator told me go to there and there. At last I decided to close my a/c and I go to branch to close my a/c, I take a form for closing the A/c.But at that time one employee of the bank to co-operate with me and support me to transfer the A/c.Then I think let me the last try. I agree with him. Last time i.e. 3rd time I fill up the transfer form and submit it to operator. After 5-6 days I go to bank for confirmation, my a/c is transfer or not. At that time Operator talled me the form is rejected because he forget to write the CUST ID in the form and then he send my form to the main office. These whole processes are running 15-20 days. And last my a/c is transferred and my new a/c no. is given to me. In these all process I will charge from bank to NOT MAINTAIN the Balance in the A/c.I ask one thing WHY I SHOULD PAY THE CHARGE .Your employees is faulty in these whole process and I will get a charge because of my a/c is not transferred at right time. I m not responsible to pay the charges against your employees fault.So I will tell try to help to solve these problem as soon as possible.

                        Hello Everyone

                        I participated for Future Capital Holding and Reliance Power IPO, On allotment I was issued 8 shared of Future Capital and none for Reliance Power where as I have invested around 1.3 lakhs collectively. I have still not got the refund i.e. balance of 8 shares yet and dont know whom to contact.

                        When I call up at HDFC Sec Customer care there is no proper reply, all they are saying is contact both the companies.

                        I have a strange feeling of money being lost. Is anyone facing a problem like this, if yes what is to be done to be bailed out of trouble.

                        Allotment process will be taken care by the registrar. And now a days ASBA has been launced in the market by which when you apply in any ipo so till the allotment day the application amount be on hold by the bank and if shares will be alloted to you then on that day that much amount will be debited and remaining amount will get released.

                            I Rakesh Kumar, Age 27 Yrs, residing at H. No. 48, Rampuri, Kalkaji, New Delhi-110019. I have credit card account with HDFC Bank (Credit Card No. [protected]).

                            I got credit card bill amount Rs. 872.00 on date 9th Jan. 08 (Due date will be 23 rd Jan 08). Due to some financial crieses I was not able to pay the bill on due date, I dropped cheque amounting Rs. 872.00 (deutsce bank) on 26 th Jan.2008,
                            I am regularly paying my bills in full every month before due dates, perhaps it is the first time that I was not able to pay before due date. For this late payment of Rs. 872.00, bank imposed late fee of Rs.350.00 plus Rs.42.00 sevice charges. Is these charges are reasonable on the amount of Rs. 872.00.
                            Bank should go through the previous track record of the customer in these type of matters.
                            I request you to please have a look on above issue and take the necessary actions as early as possible.
                            I also request to HDFC Bank to deduct the extra amount that is Rs 392.00 charges on me due to delay in Payment, considering my previous track record.

                            Im holding ICICI BANK credit card(NO.[protected]). Im also an INFOSYS employee having corp. salary a/c. in ICICI. My utliisation of your credit card is enormous and also my payment towards the credit card bill is prompt and regular. unfortunately for two months i have taken just one or two days more in addition to the due date, for that period you have levied Rs.600/- for each month in the bill. Considering my credit payment history and genuine utilisation you can very well reverse the same . Due date is yet to come for this month, for the earlier month i have already paid late payment fees of Rs.600/-. Hence kindly reverse the amounts which i have paid as late payment so far.
                            Pls acknowledge my complaint and do the needful at the earliest

                            It has been mopre than a year that i have not used my hdfc card. last year i called the bank and requested for the closure of my account and did that with all the full and final payments.
                            Noe suddenly this year i in August i start getting a new bill for a minimul amount .i tried contacting the customer care and after recieving my first call that got disconnected by them they do not take call from my mobile number..Harassing a customer has been my feedbacl from HDFC..Kindly assist

                            I am the customer of HDFC bank.I have been the member of credit card services since past one and a half years and in october this year I found that 7650/- has been debited from my account of one policy which was imposed upon me without my consent & notice by bank.

                              I have taken loan from HDFC bank in November 2006 for Hero Honda Bike. Till date inspite of several reminders for last 1 year he has not given me the RC Book and has also not tracable as he has shifted his Dealer outlet. whenever I call for the RC book the person on the no asks for money for RC book. Kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

                                I had a HDFC credit card in 2001 in New Delhi. I had cancelled the card, somewhere in 2003 as the company had charged me some Rs.770 for renewal charges, but never send me a renewed card. I kept calling the call center of HDFC for 6 months and no action was taken. Finally i cancelled the card and made sure that the annual charge was reverted back.

                                In 2007, i applied for a loan and it was cancelled saying that i had Rs 1 pending on a credit card for more than 3 years and now the amount is Rs 89. To my suprise, somehow there is some pending balance for which the bank has send no intimation and now i have no clue how to clear this up. Reason being, that I dont remember my credit card no. any more and when i called the call center, they also have no record of my card details.

                                What is suprising to me is that when a company doesnt have any records of my card, how can there be a pending balance. I really dont know how to get this issue resolved as HDFC bank has been very rude and has provided no help regarding this matter.

                                  I (Monica kaushik)am working as a HR in an MNC, I had made one debit transaction to one of my friends HDFC Savings account (Shekhar raizada). One day I asked one of my colleague (raghava Narayana)to transfer 4000Rs to the same Account Number (Shekhar Raizada).

                                  Now there is a credit card fraud case in name of Shekhar Raizada (which we never knew). Now Me and my colleague (Raghav Narayan) are getting calls from HDFC People, that we have done a fraud by transferring money in Shekhar;s Saving account and they are torturing both o[censored]s. They are giving a Threat of blocking our HDFC's account as well as they are asking us to give them One Lakh Rupee. They are abusing us and are using non acceptable words.
                                  I request you to take this case on the Priority and help us in giving suggestions that what can we do (as we are innocent and has no link with that credit card.)
                                  Yesterday (31st Jan 2008) we have received more than 50 threatning calls from HDFC people.

                                    I have taken Rs.13 lakhs from HDFC Ltd as housing loan & prepaid it. But the insurance part for which I have paid a one time premiumof Rs45000/ had to be reassigned to my spouse name.                                       Hi All,
                                      This is another note on HDFC bank issues. I was upgrated and issued a GOLD Debit Card from HDFC showing me certain benefits that i would earn. Good part is I did not receive the debit Card pin for the past 1.5 month. The Original pin gets posted through the ordinary post and you know how the postal service works. Later point i went to my Home town(vijayawada) branch and raised a Duplicate request for the debit card pin. The branch tells me that on high priority basis the pin would be delivered in 3-4 working days. After 4-5 working days i visiting the branch and they say we need to look at the status. Since i had to return back to bangalore I said please courier me the Duplicate pin. later when talking to the phone banker, he tells me that there is not request placed against my account for a duplicate pin. Later i went ahead and requested the phone banker to raise a request for duplicate pin. till not it is fine thinking the issue is resolved. after 7 days i call back the phone banker and he tells me that the debit pin was send to Panckula, sector 8 branch , delhi whereas my account is with the Bangalore. now the guys are finding out where the pin got dispatched to for the past 2 days.
                                      Bottom line i am without a Debit card and cannot access the ATM and withdraw money from ATM for the past 1 month and on top of it I am also exhausted my cheque leaves.
                                      Even the Cheque book request was raised 1oth of jan and till date is has not reached me.

                                      I have an Acount in HDFC bank having account no.[protected], I applied for new ATM card in lucknow hazratganz branch on dated 04.01.08 ( As my earlier ATM card damaged). But I got my ATM card after 20 days i.e appx 24.01.08 after regualr follow up with Cus. care no. 4003333,

                                      But I didnt get PIN no. of the ATM card till yet !! Tthe service of HDFC Bank can be so poor , I didnt expect this one.

                                      I am suffering alot without PIN No. Now i decided to withdraw my salaried account from HDFC bank ,

                                      Pls do the needful !!

                                      I would like log a complaint against the HDFC BANK about there operations, recently i have requested for update of my old blue debit card to gold debit card, during the june month, but it now i'm unable to get debit pin number where i requested in Kharghar Brach for the same to get my debit number in July 11th, where as have taken a fresh request on 11th june at kahrghar branch but of no repsonse from the kharghar branch amount for PIN request was debited from account, but till now iam not to get the debit pin.

                                      Again, on 10 aug i have given seperate request on phone banking for generation of PIN number to deliver it at my residential address, but they send it at my home branch.

                                      Iam fustrated with the poor services of the HDFC bank.

                                      Please do help me.

                                      I have opened a new account on the 20th of sept along with my daughters name included in lalpur branch in ranchi jharkhand and was promised that by the end of the week the new account no.will be given by the so called responsible and a reputed bank but to my surprise i found out that my daughter's name did not match with the pan card name and very casually was told by the manager to write an application by my daughter as if it was her fault of the mismatch of the pan card name and the site of the branch concerned.I also have my salary account in the concerned branch with the account no.[protected] but till today i have been promised with the new account but still no hope.It is quite surprising that a bank which puts a tag on itself as one of the most reputed bank with a caption ''WE UNDERSTAND YOUR WORLD''which is laughable because customers are fooled to believe in a system mismanaged by officers who themselves do not know to define the rules to the customers and we are the worst sufferers.I would be obliged if the matter is considered for immediate action.
