This was a worst experience using HDFC Credit card no - [protected], for which i had received an setlement letter for Rs. 25000/- after i had paid the amount this was agreed by the Credit card department - Mr. Arun Kumar (debt management) airport road branch - Ph- [protected], and after 6 month they have deducted Rs. 38380.39 from my HDFC account directly, which is not a small amount for me and which was my company money. these people only bluff people and cheat them this way... which is really bad on their part... as i have the letter given by the bank and the proof of the receipt for 25000/-... can any one help me how i can get the monies back from the bank

I, Sundaram P S have applied for the HDFC credit card. I got the card. BUT, you have sent the credit card along with a mini card, which I have NOT requested. Adding to this, you have also charged for this MINI CARD. So, I request you to cancel this MINI CARD. My card number is [protected]. Contact, if I need to sent back the card or anything else.

I applied the hdfc credit card on Last of June 08 but till date[protected] there is no credit card is reac to me. However Statement is reached. When I call the credit card department they told me that there is a mistake in my address thats why I would not receive credit card.
At the same time I receive the password of credit card and statement of that card on the same wrong adress why.

Four time I call the customer care and everytime they tole me that they redispacthe the card and after some day a messgae on my mobile that your credit card has returned to us please call us.

I dont understant If my address is wrong Why should password and statement would reached.

MOST IMPORTANT TOPIC IS THAT THE HDFC BANK SEND ME THE STATEMENT OF THAT CREDIT CARD THAT DOESENT REACH ME ANYTIME. WHAT A BLOODY SHAME ON THE SUCH REPUTED COMPANY.

Dear Sir,
This is with reference to your letter dated 02-Feb-2009. I require the credit card statements of credit card no- [protected] form[protected] to[protected] urgently.
It has been more than one month since I have requested for the statements. Your first acknowledgment was received by me on 02-Jan-2009. After that in every letter you have been asking for our confirmation only and not dispatching the required statements.
And please note the correct period for which I need the statements, because I shall not pay for any statements other than the stated period[protected] to[protected].
Please mail me these statements on a priority basis. And the hard copies of the statements are not required at all, please send me the soft copies of the same on my e-mail address [protected]@yahoo.co.in urgently.
As per my last statement, my bill was of 3126.25 but I need to pay only 2911.72/- as there was some opening balance of -214.53/-
.
Therefore, I would like inform you that in last month I made 2 transactions (petrol) one was of 1450/- and the another was of 1500/- & according to your company/bank rules you had put a surcharge of 87.50/- & 88.75/- respectively, than I made phone call at customer care & had a word with Mr. Ikshit on dated 26 July 2009 at 12:00 a.m., regarding the reversal of the Surcharge & he had committed that the bank will revert this amount in the next statement, at that moment he was not in position to revert this amount as well as to provide the request no.because of some techniqual problem in the system.

Moreover, he had suggested me to make one more call in morning after 7:00 a.m. than you will get the reversal as well as the request number, so when I called up again on 28 July 2009 & had a word with Mr. Gitesh Nijara & with Mr. Abhishek Maheshwari they had refused to give that reversal.

In addition, I would like to inform you that all the transaction made at B.P. Pumps & according to my information; there would be no surcharge on the Bharat Petroleum Pumps.

Please note that my average petrol transaction is of around[protected]/- per month in case if I have to pay around 90/- on each transaction than it really doest not make any sense to use your card.

So, It was really a great experience with your bank and also thankful for your services now, I am not at all interested to do any further dealing with your Bank.

My card no[protected], i have received unauthorised credit on my credit card, i have not applied for mini card of HDFC, i only click on the link which appeared on my net banking. But know hdfc charge me for this service. After making complaint to their call center for this problem, they said that it is your fault to click on the link.

HDFC Bank — mini cards fee

On[protected] I had book a railway ticket from NGPAY and make payment from HDFC Bank Credit Card and 0n[protected] they also detect other amount for mini cards fee. They had not respond yet regarding it.
Please suggest what I do??

    Sir,

    I had already given swap charges Rs 500 ( DD, Rs 500, Dated 8/6/07, Bank : Shamrao Vithal coop ) with 35 PD Chqs of ( Shamrao Vithal coop Bank, Chq no, ), to Mr Firoz your representative Mobile no [protected] which is still not cleared from my Account .
    Not only this, even after paying I have received Legal letter .
    This really pathetic, even after I had paid I am getting regular and threatening calls from [protected] / 3012417/ [protected] .
    Pls resolve the issue within 3 days or I have already filed compliant against the issue to Consumer Forum Nasik, Adv Nandkishore Bhutada .

    Further if the harassment is continued, we are filling a Case in Nasik .

    Need urgent action with reimbursement against mental harassment and trouble created TO MY FAMILY AND EVEN LEGAL NOTICE WAS SEND FOR THE SAME WITHOUT ANY FAULT OF MINE

      Dear Sir,

      I have one credit card and uses the same pays the due amount regularly and it was issued to me when I was at Kolkata now on Sep 07 got transffered to Bangalore where my company opened salary account at HDFC Bank due to this transfer from Kolkata to Bangalore I missed 5 instalments of Credit card payment but this month for my daughter admission I took Rs-60000 from my company and deposited the same in HDFC Bank account but after i issued the check to my daughter school i came to know that Bank has hold my total money ie;Rs-85000. Again on 18th Mar 08 i came to know that Bank has taken this money.

      Please help me how come the Bank can take this money from my account without informing me whereas I had call the Phonebanking & my branch.

      Please help how to go ahead.

      HDFC CREDIT CARD COLLECT DEPARTMENT — BLOCKED MY MONEY IN ACCOUNT WITHOUT ANY INFORMATION .

      The settlement of the card was done for 8000 /- rs , according to the agency i had to pay 800 rs ... which was left to pay ... i had request for a statement to get the clear pictrue of the payment that i have done .       Yesterday I received official letter from Your Bank that they can not do any thing because time is over.

      But I was informed immediate to your Bank and as they directed drop the letter in any HDFC Bank.

      I have done same.

      And when ever I followed your Bank they have always told matter is under discussion and because this is a transition from different Bank so it will take time.

      Now your Bank is putting interest also on that amount which I have not taken

      So how I can pay that amount which I have not taken.

      Sorry but I will not pay any amount which I have not taken

      Credit Card — no statements for 1 yr/ harrasment by ur recovery people

      sir, ( URGENT ATTN PLEASE )
      My credit card no. is [protected]. Inspite of repeated requests to customer care, monthly statements are not being recd since over one year. Still some minimum amount was being deposited almost regularly.
      Yesterday, one Mr Girish patil, claiming to be HDFC recovery agent started harrasing me, using loud threating language & asking me to do immediate payment. He also sent two goons to my work place. I reuested them to get vthe statements sent to me & I will immediately settle the amount, I should know the nature of charges made to this pending bill since card has not been used for many years now. His tele no is[protected].
      I asked him that should I call the police i[censored] continue to send goons to harras me.He said he is not scared police
      Why u could not send me mail/ or speak personally to me instead of this harrasment. I am a busy senior physician here & I was put to great embarassment by these goons. There has never been intention to default.
      Please take action against Mr Girish Patil/ or sack him. I need to have a chance to represent,
      I want to settle the amount finally.

      As We are in urgent need of credit card for visa purpose, have applied for the same through Borivali branch on priority base.       HDFC Bank Credit Card — Not getting a Credit Card

      I am a premium Account holder in HDFC Bank, and hold a very good credit history.
      I had a credit card couple of years ago, which was settled and then the card expired.
      After three years i returned back to india, and from last 2 months i am not able to get a credit card from HDFC, though i am a premium Customer.
      I had filed the Credit Card application 3 times and it is so messy that i came to know after the third filing that a card was issued, and the Customer is taking benefit of it and he had talk with the Credit Card Customer Centre.
      I am surprised how this department of HDFC is still in place.
      It is so rediculuos that i called the customer centre twice and they refused to talk to me without a credit Card Number.

      I am talking to these guys through emails, but nothing is coming out of it.
      Now i am so bugged up that i really want to take this matter up and i also want that every body should know what is happening with HDFC Credit Card Department.

      If somebody know a way to publish this message to global mass, please let me know how to go for it.
      I think HDFC Credit Card department should be black listed in the market.

      HDFC Bank Credit Card — Fake debits and missing credit transactions

      My Credit Card No. [protected].

      I have visited London in May 2008 with the family. I have a add on card in my Spuse name.
      He has swap the card at One Hotel IBIS, London for final Payment of Hotel.

      When we got our June 10th 2008 statement, we were shocked to find few transactions have been charged debited to statement, where we have not signed them.

      In fact we found three transactions of Rs.7107.77 repeatedly in the same statement, also one more transaction of Rs. 6422.95 debited wrong to our account.

      Also when we signed the payment slips, it was over paid so there was a refund of Rs. 7107.77 (equivalent Sterling Pound as calculated above) is also not part of statement.

      We wrote to Bank in mid of August 2008 after clearing our all transactions and confirming that we have not done those transaction, and since then we are trying to convince the Bank to Credit entire Three wrong Debit of Rs. 7107.77
      One Worng Debit of Rs. 6422.95 and
      and missing credit transaction of Rs. 7107.77

      Total wrong debit Rs. 34, 854.03 .

      Bank is not listening even after we have produced so many proof for missing transaction of credit amount to be part of Statement.

      And also Bank does not have any reference for all those debit ttransactions which we found are fake and are fake but withour even any proof Bank is not ready to accept their inetrnal problem and claiming the amount from me and also keep charging Interest on that every month.

      Please help to understand if we have to lodge a complaint against HDFC Bank in this case then what and where to do and how to do ??

      HDFC Bank — Non Cooperation and Delaying in Work

      We are running our corporate account in the name of MUTHOOT FINANCE LTD (SONIPAT BR) with HDFC (SONIPAT)since last 2 years. Problems facing with them are uncountable. The authorised sigantory were held by two person one with Mr Mathew Manuel And second Mine.Mathew Manuel Resgnisd and Mr N K Khurana Joined the branch We want our authorised signatory to be changed. The process they undergo was too lenghty and time consuming. IT took 2 months just for changing the persons name. Moreover at the time of confiriming the status of account the manager and staff showed non co-operation with us. At same time a new and lame excuse was given for delaying the process. As being the corporate account no favour no customer satisfaction matters. The customer care executive didn't even entertain rather not ready to listen if lunch time. The dissatisfaction level is very high, So, i request you to please see towards the problem.

      HDFC Credit Card — Harrasment by HDFC

      Dear Sir,

      I am totally at lost with HDFC credit card division, it started in the year 2006 june when i shifted my address, i had forwarded my new address to the customer care dept so that they can update the same, which never happened, i had tyo send letters through the collection agent so that he can change my address even then it was not done, i was making my payments thought, however i stopped my payment as the bank was not co operating, the ordeal started then, they started making calls to my family and using abusive language threatening them, i did continue making payments after 8 months they send a legal notice that i was not making my payment although i was making the same.I went to the bank asking for a final settlement which the manager readily agreed and i also made my first payment towards the settlement which was in the month of jan 09, however till now they have not send me a settlement paper, nor telling me how many installment i can pay to clear my dues of 33000, today a person from legal team calls me to say that they are going to take legal action as i am not making the payments .

      Please advise me how to go ahead with this issue.

      HDFC Bank Credit Card — NOT DELIVERED CREDIT CARD

      Hi,

      I was holding HDFC Credit Card from past around 4 years and has never been defaulter in any payments or any other thing. When I got transferred from my old location to new location I lost my Credit Card. I report this to Customer Care and they issued me a new Credit Card and told me that they will deliver me. But When I told that I have shifted to new location they asked me for address change.

      HDFC Bank Credit Card — HARRASMENT IN GIVING MY CREDIT CARD

      Hi,

      I was holding HDFC Credit Card from past around 4 years and has never been defaulter in any payments or any other thing. When I got transferred from my old location to new location I lost my Credit Card. I report this to Customer Care and they issued me a new Credit Card and told me that they will deliver me. But When I told that I have shifted to new location they asked me for address change.

      Sir the people from your various collection agencies keep calling throughout the day even when the due date is far away. Not only this they even use threatining language and keep on insulting me.       I have been holding HDFC credit card for more than a year and 3 months and have been paying the minimum payment on time inspite of getting the credit card statement from the bank. However, they have blocked my saving Account to get their money recovered without intimating me about the same.

      Dear Sir,

      I am using HDFC BANK Credit card from last 4 years, i paid all the month minimum due amount last two not paid because i am out of city and promiss to representative that i will pay when i come to city. But they are not agree and they locked my hdfc bank salary account and they block all the money and they taken for the creditcard payment. without informing me they blocked my salary account and money.       HDFC Credit Card — bank not giving any help

      one of my friend name- Rahul Rao [protected] stolen my credit card, now he is not attending my call,
      and also left the city. only i now that he is in delhi and he have my credit card. when i told this matter to bank,
      they told that they r not going to help me. and they want regular payment, and they r harasting my parent at my home town.i m student and now at pune.

      HDFC Bank Credit Card (Platinum) — In correct DOB in records

      I am holding a HDFC Bank Credit Card (Platinum) for many years but recently it was brought to my notice by the Bank that my DOB is not correct in their records and they cannot take my queries on phone banking.

      When I asked the Bank how can by DOC be incorrect in their records, they told me that I have not submitted and DOB proof at the time of application and I should now submit a ID proof to get it corrected. (Id proof has DOB on them)

      My basic questions to the Bank are:
      1) How can my DOB be incorrect in their record? Is it my fault in filling the form?
      2) At the time of issue of the card I did submit an ID proof. Why can’t bank retrieve those docs and fix my DOB.

      I am ok to re-submit the docs but someone from bank should contact me and explain me what went wrong and answer my queries.

      In this competitive environment bank should realize that this is not the only bank that issues credit cards.
      I am really getting disappointed by HDFC to a limit that this may lead to end of very long relationship with them.

      HDFC Bank Credit Card — HDFC Bank Credit Card Complaints

      I had purchased some product in the month of 2008(do not remember the month) for around 850/-. As i had changed my address I had also placed a request for the change of address before the purchase. As i had not received the statement the payment was made by week delay, for which i had called up the customer care officer and told him the reason to waive of the money and made the payment. Later on also i was not receiving the statments to my address.

      In december one person has called for hdfc credit card(sales) through him again i placed a change of communication address. My card got expired inthe Jan/Feb 2009, for which i didnt received the replacement card as well.

      Today i got a call from Customer care of HDFC bank of Indira Nagar branch of Bangalore a female for the payment of around 6500/-(not sure what for) and she claims that it is for the late payment of my last purchase(850/-) and subsequent interest charges. She was very rude and telling that they will proceed legally against me, etc.

      How can the bank charge some interest like this after confirming to the customer. and now they are telling that I have not made a call to them at all regarding this issue. Please assist in resolving this
      My name is Saurabh Singh and I have been using HDFC bank Platimun Card since last 10 months. Since the activation of the card, I have been utilizing the card very actively and meticulously. I have never missed any single payment on my card since activation of the same till 7th September 2009. Till the month of June'09, I was in the transactor bucket (paying full on due date) and for the next three months I was paying 60-70% of the due amount and revolving the rest to the next month.

      In the credit card companies parlance, transactors are the best grade customers following revolvers and then they have 5 or 6 default cycles and number may vary with the banks. Once a person goes to default buckets (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6), collection department of the credit card company start tracking that account incessantly and they strat making agreesive phone calls. Behavior of the caller agent depends on the cycle bucket you are in and your credit profile in the past along with amount due.

      On last friday (16 oct 2009) I got a call from collection regarding my due payments. I told them that I will pay my whole due amount (around Rs. 68000) on 1st November 2009. On this the agent told me to pay only 2700 (minimum amount due) to avoid any late payment fee on which I told him that I will pay the late payment fee on 1 November 2009. Consedering the fact that he was very adamant to his demand I told him that I will pay the minimum amount due on coming thurseday (22 oct 2009). Irrespective of the fact that I have mentioned to the collection agent that I will pay the required amount on thurseday, I have been getting collection calls. I got a call on monday (19 oct 2009) about the payment and told him that I will pay on thurseday and requested him to stop chasing me on my cell phone. On that he asked me to talk to customer care and once collection team has mail from the customer care about stopping collection calls then only they can stop bugging me. On that note I talked to customer care on Tuesday (20 oct 2009) and told the person the ongoing story and that person promised him that I will not receive any collection call till 1 November 2009. The customer care person also gave me liberty to pay the whole amount on 1 November (including late payment fee).

      Today monring (22 oct 2009) again, I got a call from collection team. Details of the person is-

      He told me that he has got a mail from customer care saying that I have told to customer care that "I WILL NOT MAKE PAYMENT". I was shocked and surprised at the same time. He was talking very rudely to me. I am quoting few of his remarks -
      1. "Main sirf itna jaanta hoon ki tune KARZA liya hai humse aur 24 ghante me wapas kar"
      2. Agar 24 ghante mein nahin diya to tera BAAP dega (In India this is equivalent to scolding someone)
      3. Customer care has got no say in the collection calls and harassement by those calls, they are there only to attract customers at any cost

      These are the remarks used by one of the Manager to a customer whose credit profile has been outstanding so far and who has missed just one payment. He doesn't even know that its not Karza he is giving but utilizing his money to make money from us and its his bread and butter.

      This is with regard to HDFC credit card I have been holding this card for more than 3 years.

      I took a credit this card of Rs. 8000/- in 2006 and after that I was paying this minimum amount what ever is updated in the outstanding statement for upto 2008. Then I went for full and final settlement to clear the outstanding and they made out settlement on Rs.13000/- with Rs.1000 EMI per month towards me after paying minimum amount every month before EMI get started. I paid this EMI one year and then also I have not received settlement letter from the Bank.


      Now HDFC customer care executive directly came to house in my absence and asking to my parent for recovery of outstanding. After that I went to bank once to clear the above matter then again they show Rs.15000/- outstanding balance on my credit card and I have to clear this amount with in six month with EMI of Rs.2500/- per month then they will issue the settlement letter for me. If I already clear Rs.13000/- by giving 1000/- EMI every month then why again the statement has showing Rs.15000/- outstanding on my name?


      This is for your information I am a middle class person. My Mother and father is BP patient also my younger brother is mentally retire patient & these people coming to my house once in a month and Harassing to my mother and father in my absence with out any intimation where as I updated my mobile no to them.


      I would sincerely appeal to whomsoever to look into this as it really disturb my mental stability.
      Please do something as I strongly feel that this is affecting my mental health.

      After clearing all the above matter you are requested to discontinue my credit card.

      HDFC Credit Card — Even after closing the Credit card they come back and say i have to pay the money

      Hi,
      I was holidng the HDFC Credit card([protected]) and i have used it till 2006. After that i was unable to pay the monthly payments and i ahd a discussion with them and got the settlement offer of paying Rs 42,000 and close the card.

      I have got the offer letter from them on[protected] and i ahve done the payment through cheque on the same day.

      After 2 years(June,2008) i got a call from HDFC Credit card department asking whether i have any settlement letter or not and i said no, immidatly they blocked my HDFC Savings account funds.

      When i enquired with them they said i havent done any payment and the payment is due. Luckily i was holding the Settlement Offer letter and when i have faxed that they actiavted my savings account.

      Now again on[protected] they again holding my funds within my savings account (HDFC Banl account) and sent me a notice saying that i have to do the payment.

      I am not sure what i need to do? I am having the settlement offer letter and the compliant i have lodged in 2008 as well.

      Can i take any legal action on them? I cannot use my funds and i am mentally suffering because i cannot use my funds for my day to day usage.

      I would like to draw your attention towards my problem with HDFC bank, gwalior.
      I had an account with the bank. I too had an credit card of the bank issued under the name and account: Ajay Tambat/Ashwini Tambat a/c no.[protected].
      In 2005 july we destroyed the credit card of the bank in indore office after making full and final payment in front of the exec. Sajal.
      Now on 16th dec 2007 the bank account was freezed without any prior information on account of outstanding balance of credit card.
      We talked at all levels in the bank and lastly we filed a case with consumer court . We won the case in Jan 2009.

      again there was no correspondance from the bank side.
      later in May 2009 when we talk to bank people, we came to know that our account has been closed. till now we are trying to talk to all the level of people in the bank but yet we have not recd the money nor answer. We are genuinely fed up with the bank people.
      I am enclosing all the documents so that you can look into the matter and give some relief to us. the amount in our account was 8500 approx, + more than 5000 has been spent on the cases, +nearly 5000 fine we had to pay for the emi bounce for our car with ICICI bank

      Sir, on 16/12/2009, I mate Mr. Rajeev (Mobile No [protected]) and Mr. Himanshu (His Boss)in the Rajori Garden, Ansal Tower Branch. I told them that I was going to transfer the fund to the Credit Card. They were not at all agree with me and told me to transfer the whole amount in my account to the credit card. Then only they will give me the sattlement latter. I told them that I was told that the settlement amount will be of Rs. 45000 which I have to pay in 6 monthly installment. But they are asking around 20000 upfront. I even requested them to take 10 - 12K first and release the rest amount, but they refused. They were not at all cooperating with me. I even asked them to let me meet a senior person but Mr. Himanshu told me that he is the one and only the main senior person in whole HDFC Bank. He is the owner and he will do whatever he want to do with the money in the account of HDFC Bank customer.They even misbehaved with me.I did'nt agreed with their terms and I refused to sign anywhere in their agreement.
      Sir, I have enough evidence that my money was not at all credited to my account on 11th Dec. It was on 14th. Even I checked my Account on 12th and 13th. It was showing in the ledger balance. Only on 14th, it might have been credited and they had blocked my money. They had even bounced my ECS on 15th of Dec.I had even informed Mr. Rajeev on 14th and on 15th of Dec. But he was telling me that it was not of his concern.Mr. Himanshu was telling me that the money was credited on 11th of Dec. But, after I found out that my money has been blocked, then only Mr. Rajeev was saying me that he had taken revenge from me.
      Sir, I hope that at least this time I will get a reply from your side.

They are releasing my settlement letter soon. But, Mr. Rajeev's statement was totally different from the executive. I was really confused.

      Today also he call me many times when i said my DD is not cleared yet it is showing in ledger balance, he said i have taken the revenge by blocking your account.
      Sir he is asking for the payment and on the other hand he blocked my account then how can i make payment??????????

      This is not the first incidence. 3 month back (Sep-2009) when i lost my ATM card and it was swapped by some unknown person.
      No one from the bank was ready to help me. It was my whole month salary.
      I had visited HDFC bank but instead of helping me, they said we don't have any rule to check ID proof when there is any swaping in your card. So we are not responsible and we cann't help you. Even though I had provided them the sufficient evidence. So I had taken the help of police.

      I took an ICICI Lombard health policy on 27 Feb. 2008 thru HDFC credit card no.[protected] for two years. I used this policy first year and paid 12 regular EMI @ Rs.568 / =6816.After first year I have stopped this policy and ICICI bank sent a cheque no.102424 of amount Rs.4555/ .Thus HDFC Bank have received total amount =Rs.6816+ Rs.4555=Rs.11371 / from me. HDFC Bank paid an amount Rs.11371/ (i.e. Rs.6816 for first year +Rs.4555for second year) for ICICI Lombard. But HDFC Bank has sent a statement of amount Rs.4800. There are no dues from my side. I already sent lot of Email to HDFC bank to stop credit card. But HDFC Credit Card guys keep calling me and keep telling that I have some amount due to pay which is so ridiculous as never made any purchase.

      I was a customer with HDFC bank from 2004. I had a savings account with them and later on I opted a credit card. I have 3 major areas of complaint agains the bank:

      - Irresponsible and non-cooperation: I never got to redeem my reward points from my credit card, and they never cared to either help me or inform me even after my repeated calls and follow-up at the customer care center.
      - Harrasment by the bank to collect payment although I always paid my dues.
      - Non-communication and keeping me in the dark regarding any arrears that I had to pay.

      This is what happened:

      In 2009, the recovery agent from HDFC bank called me to pay the due amount, as my card had expired. I agreed to make the payment, and made a payment of Rs 5000, then Rs 25000, and then Rs30000 to settle my account with the bank. They accepted the payment, but never cared to communicate to me about any other arrears. After making this payment in 2009, now the recovery agents are calling me again and asking for a payment of Rs 10,0090 more to close the account. I asked them to send the statement so that I can check why there is this arrear. After seeing the statements, I found out that there just Rs 3659.67 left unpaid. Now, first of all I did not receive any communication from the recovery agent who had called me earlier that there was any amount pending from me. And now, after 1 year, they are calling me up and asking me to pay this amount.

      Firstly, I wasn't informed about any other extra payment. Neither the HDFC Bank customer care nor the Recovery cell called me to atleast acknowledge the payment nor did they inform me about this arrear. If they can call me up now and tell me about this payment, were they waiting for it to accumulate before they could inform and fleece me.

      If in good faith, I made a payment of Rs 60000, was it not the bank's duty tot have cooperated with me in communicating about these arrears, so that they did not accumulate to Rs 10,0090? Instead they are calling and harrassing me.

      It is really shameful the way these so called customer oriented Banks run their business.I have been holding HDFC credit card for more than a year and 3 months and have been paying the minimum payment on time inspite of getting the credit card statement from the bank. I hv asked for the statement hardcopy to customer care as well as collection when ever they call for collection. inspite helping me they have blocked my account and also forwrded me legal notice. I ask u one thing i[censored] people trace our address for forwarding notive then why can't u trace it for providing statement hardcopy. i m premium customer o[censored]r bank thats why my credit limit is enhanced to 200000 lakh and on other side u are treating us like a fraud customer, is this type of services u r providing to ur customers. I also talked to Abhishek verma detail given on notice, i was unable to contact him second time bcoz i hv misplaced that notice which i receive from ur side.

      Secondly they have also deducted 4050 rs from my saving account.

      Plz provide me the proper resolution of this soon.

      I have dropped Cheque at kalyan branch (Thane) on 29/3/10 at 9.34 am, at that moment HDFC representive confirm me within 10 days it will get cleared (it was outstation cheq of IDBI bank Pune), today on Dated 13/4/10 still the cheq is not cleared & HDFC employees dont have any details of cheq status, when ask clearing time the same employee says 15 to 17 working days it means to clear a check HDFC require 22 days approx??

I am not using the card for 8 -10 months now, and have asked the bank to close the card by calling their customer care many times, but everyt time some collections people call and have abused me, and have asked exorbitent money to close the card and have not agreeed to give me any statement to show what are the charges they have leived on the card.

      i ankur jain husband of isha jain having a credit card no [protected]. in my wife name in 2008.as per bank mr.amit joshi handle my account. he told me that you pay a monthly rs 9000 approx your accont has seetle in 168000/-.as per he told me i pay every month till 19 month ,there is no other call in these 19month.when i pay the last balance i am asking about the closer letter he said me that you get in next month a zero statement. i have all the reciept i have paid but when after a month there is no letter is coming , a call is coming from the bank and demanding full money i was shocked . i am going to bank and ask about his officer mr. amit joshi when i am hear about his i again shocked that he is cheated a lot customer and he is doing all the fakecomitment to customer ,some of customer taking legal action against him,now he is suspended,now i am in troble i told to bank that you have a voice recording system in the bank you check that what is going between us,but i dont know what they are doing,plz look in to the matter as soon as possible and take necessary action.

      I am a holder of credit card from HDFC , My due date had passed and I had to make a payment which I had confirmed that it will be paid be end of the day. The payment was done , but even then the executive had been making calls and using abusing language stating that I am lying and n number of things , she has been torturing me like anthing , is it justified ? The executive wants the exact time when the payment is made? She has to say that it is not updated in the system, also the argument is that the payment is made on the old credit card, she urges to make the payment on the new Credit card number which is not yet received by me,.

As per your norms of payment in six installments I deposited the money in every month in Jharsuguda (HDFC) Bank. And clear the total dues. But again HDFC (Bank) send me balance amount as well as advocate notice why?

      I complain Bhubaneswar (Office) they told me they send the copy, never mind due to not update of computer. But again I received the same.

      From last three months to give complain to you HDFC (Bhubaneswar) as well as Kolkata they told they send person hand over the Xerox copy of letter which is received by settlement letter as well as deposit receipts for clearing. But till date no one came and takes any Xerox copy. I give complain in Jharsuguda (HDFC) they told me they never see credit card section. Even they unable to see as well as to give deposit copy of money of credit card from June 2009 to Jan 2010 in detail.

      So please check the detail and close the account of balance as early as possible.

      this is to inform you that i am using HDFC bank credit card since more than 2 years, fir which i am paying mininmum due from last 5-6 months, this time due to some personal problem i was not able to do the payment before due date but the call centre staff harrasing me for the same thing badly.i am receiving 50 -60 calls on daily basis through different number they are using abusive language with me they calling my office also & they are talking in a veru un professional way, after so much of harrasment i told them to settle my accounts & again they are teling me in very bad language that you cannot do boodly you have to pay this installement. i am very tensed they can kill me also for the same thing they are very dangerous people. they said there name is Ganesh & Madan. please help me they are after my life.

      HDFC Bank — Credit card payment due

      Hi,

      I was holding HDFC Bank Gold Credit card. Now, the problem started after I make the payment via cheque on 2nd Feb 2010 Vijaya Bank cheque number 333909 against total outstanding. But now after 6 month from the date of payment, their collection department has called me for Rs. 3000/- approx as a outstanding on my card for which i have not used nor have any information from Feb 2010 to clear it. No communication has been received from HDFc banck credit card department. No mails, nor SMS nor any statement send by the Bank to inform me about the said outstanding. I requested the Collection officer Mr. Sandeep Sharma during his call dated 10th Sept 2010 to provide me details and statement of A/c with Proof of any communication done by the Bank before 10th of Sept and after 2nd Feb 2010 to have default from customer side or liable to make the payment as per desire by the bank. If i have been receiving any communication regarding overdue or any outstanding left after the payment of Rs. 18500/- on 1st feb 2010 as a total outstanding i would happy to make it. But if a patient will not go to the Doctor for check up, how a doctor can cure him. Atleast customer need some communication as a intimation to resolve a issue. Now as i have received call from collection officer Mr,Sandeep Sharma to intimate about the outstanding lying on my card, i straight away called him to provide me Statement of A/c and proof of any communication done earlier to proove my fault and if not then the Bank has to reverse back the outstanding amount with immediate effect at the earliest.

      After receiving 1st call from collection agencies for the recovery of the amount.As i don't like communicating any person for the same due to my nature and image with the financial partners like Credit card department HSBC, CitiBank etc. I am man of Ethics and morale i always prefer to pay the total outstanding of any banks card before the due date, and for that you may check with them or i cvan show you the proof for the support.


      I seeks an official Bank settlement letter alongwith the statement of Account reflecting no dues to avoid any legal complications.
      Please update the same to your respective collection agencies.

      I have only one option left with me to file a civil suit against the bank.

      Looking ahead your anticipation to resolve the issue and settle down the grievance.

      This is as per the telephonic conversation i had with your customer care dept on phone for the past one month for the above mentioned Credit card number.
      I have had a number of telephonic transactions with your customer care people but to no avail i had sent you the correct address letter along with a copy of my landline bill as address proof but your dept had not corrected the same and my card had got returned thrice due to the same reason. Now after all the hassle i have gone through with your bank for one single issue and that to the error on your side i am not able to do my Diwali shopping for my family; and also there has been a lot of mental suffering that i had to bear due to the same.

      As i am holding HDFC Bank Credit card with HDFC bank from a long time, on the 18th october a payment has been happened by me to Airtel which was 88072.98 where i was supposed to make the payment 1532 to airtel.       I am using HDFC Titanium Card for more than 1 year and since then I had never faced any problem. But this time I am in trouble and also bit scared to use of Credit Card.



      Actually I was trying to fill an examination form of ICWAI on 9th October, 2012 and fee was Rs. 1645/- . When I was trying to make payment online the payment was not successful but my account was debited for Rs. 1645/- . Since the last date of filling examination form was 10th October, 2012 I did payment again on 10th October, 2012 after having word with HDFC officials. I was told that Merchant has not claimed amount and you can make payment again to complete your form. Even I had word with the Institute also on 9th and 10th both the days they also conveyed the same thing that you have to make payment again, since payment session was not successful.



      My account is now debited twice with Rs. 1645/- against single Form. Since refund process takes 7 working days but still amount has not been credited. Today 18th October, 2013 I again discussed with the HDFC officials now they told that Merchant has claimed amount twice and I have to raise dispute to claim refund after having word with Institute. I have discussed with the institute but they are not giving any proper response, their Head Quarter is in Kolkata, it’s not possible for me to talk again and again.



      You are requested to please take necessary action to refund Rs. 1645/-. I wish to use your card continuously but not on such cost.

As per the email received from bank, these charges were supposed to be released to the card account on 30th day. However, no action is seen till now in spite of multiple follow up email sent by me !!! No claim letter pertaining the details of pre-authorization charges to be released. Please release all the transactions for Holiday Inn Express other than the ones which were claimed by the merchant in the attached letter. The card number is [protected]. Please help me in getting the pre-authorization charges released.

        I settled my HDFC credit card [protected] in 05/02/07. Despite this I kept getting bills and recieved no NOC. After numerous calls to customer care they have stopped sending me further bills but no NOC has been sent.
        This year my personal loan was rejected because HDFC credit card had put my name in CIBIL or Satyam database of defaulters.

          I've really been startled to know the fact that some bank charges to deposit money in the account of the same bank. Now in this case i'm talking about HDFC bank which has the unique policy of charging a fee of Rs 100 everytime a non-account holder deposits money in the account of any HDFC account holder. No bank in the world charges a fee to deposit the money into the account of the same bank. This is absolutely unfair and cheating the customers of their hard earned money. The bank says its governed by its policy, which is absoultely unfair from customer point of view. Why should someone pay any charge for simply depositing money at the cash counter?
          The Reserve Bank where is gearing up to abolish all the ATM charges in the coming months ahead, my issue is absolutely a matter for concern for all the people like me. The bank is being absolutely ridiculous and according to me they should be penalised for carrying such practice. There is no cost whatsoever for the bank just to take the money across the counter and pin into their system.
          I hope there is some grave action taken soon against this self policing bank.

          HDFC Bank Credit Card — unfair practices

          I had an HDFC bank credit card which i underwent a settelment they took the final payment and gave me the receipt on which they worte full and final payment but after three months they began calling me to pay an outstanding amount of Rs. 29000, and when i refuses t o pay them the amount on the ground that my a/c is settelled but they now deny the settlement and say that the settlement is null and invalid and now they have put a hold on my current account without any prior notice. when i tried to contact them regarding this problem, they gave me a number which dont work. what should i do about it can anyone help me please???????????
          First bounce a cheque from your account and then lodge a complain against branch manager in police station that he try to cheated you. A recently i am also suffering from the same problem & i am planning to lodge a fir of frod against the branch manager.

          this is my another complaint against hdfc bank credit card division. I request you to please refund my amount of 21000 immediately, which you have debited from my new salary account towards credit card number [protected]. As it is very urgent for me i am jobless and has to take care of my mother as she is suffering from cyst, sinus and hyperthyroid. its very urgent for me to get my amount back. its a matter of life for me and for my family.

          I can see hdfc is doing same thing others also. Accept this its bank fault. they have never listened to me. when i was there to me settlement and finally they have placed hold my account debited all the funds in it.

          The amount has been debited from my savings account to their credit card account without any prior intimation to me. Please help me to recover my money as i dont have anything with me except for that money. Also help me to get a fair settlement and compensation from the bank for the trauma i have gone thru because of no money in my account.

          If my mother's health and condition got affected because of this issue, HUMAN RIGHTS, I ll have to report to HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION, CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT, RBI & I ll have to give add in DAILY NEWS PAPER regarding this issue.

              Hi,

              I got a very bad experience with my HDFC cc. I made a transaction through swiping and merchant has entered 1.5lakhs when the amount should be 15k. So they immedietly refunded(made void sale) to the same. From that day onwards I'm checking my balance and follwing up with the bank. Every day they are saying new story. They asked to send the proofs and said will take max of 2days. When I enquired on 5th day when still no refunded done, they said it takes 17days to refund into my acc. Seriously this is too much. And the customer care persons are very rude. Not even explaing properly and saying rudely you have to wait and thats it. Really the bank has to improve in this matters. Don't just see benefits from ur end.

                I have an account with the bank. my debit card expired on 29th feb and hence it was disable for use in march. for the last 17 days i have been follwoing up on the bank call center and the branch for issuance of renewed debit card but of no avail.

                I am now fearing that my funds may get mis-used since the card has not reached me till 17th march 2008 and whereas banck branch at dfl phase -1, gurgaon claims they have despatched it on friday 7th march 2008.

                Request a quic redressall of the same i have been not able ot use my funds since i can't access my ATM Debit card.

At the time of applying the executive have told me that there is no annual fee, joining fee and the other hidden charges. But at the time of receiving the card, i have gone through the booklet issued by them.

                  I have an home loan from HDFC since 2003 on a floating rate of interest basis. When ever I request a statement on my home loan, they send only the amount I paid till date. Recently I asked them to send a toal break up of loan with the balance of principal amount to pay. On receiving such a statement, I was shocked to note that I have to pay a lot more than what have been initially planned for the 60 months loan period. In short HDFC increased the interest rate without ever intimating us. Since the EMIs kept at the same rate we never realised the impact of increase in interest. In order to comepete with market, HDFC offered lower interest rate to the new customers by naming it as special interest rate thereby denying its old customers with the same rate of interest offered to its new customers. In the absence of notification for the hike in interest rate, the customers are denied the chance of looking for alternative cheaper loans. Also by offering lower rate of interest by way of special offer to new customers and at the same time charging higher rate from the existing customers, its clear case of cheating.

                  I have send several emails reagrding this to revise the interest rate with prevalidity. But nothing has been heard back inspite of several reminders. I'm currently residing in UAE. Kindly advice me how I can raise this leagally.

                  Dear Friend,

                  I would like to make you alert on few details regarding HDFC and other limited companies.

                  HDFC LTD is a limited company and is not a banking institute.
                  It is a self regulated financial organization and is not at all regulated as a refinancing institute or is not a Banking institute. Sales officers makes people fool by stating HDFC Home loan as part of banking division. Even interest rates charged by HDFC is very high which is increased in subsequent years.

                  As such rates of interests for home loan are definitely regulated by RBI but limited and private companies do not fall under their per-view. These companies fall under company Act and not under Banking Act.

                  At time of taking loan these companies promises low rates of interest and then increases rates of interest in subsequent years, which increases your burden of repayment in form of slow poison eating your lots of money.

                  I will share my personal experience:

                  I have a very bad experience with HDFC, My loan of 11 lac with tenure was only 20 years and was promised with 3% discounted rates for my loan account as the company with which I was working was a corporate client of HDFC, so my loan started at 7.25% rate of interest and a low EMI of 8595/- Rs only.

                  In later stages HDFC revised rates of interest stating that my loan is on floating rates, where as no discounted rates are applied to my account. More on no reduction in rates are done at all even when rates of interest of other banks and institutes fall down. Even when they offer low interest rates to new customers – on my inquiry they asked for a proceeding fees of almost 12 thousand rupees to revise the rates of interest.
                  My EMI is also revised to 10, 526/- Rs and the tenure is now increased. Today even after paying EMI for more then 6 years my tenure of repayment is more then 18 years and EMI is increased from 8695/- Rs per month to 10526/- Rs per month. So I will end up paying money to HDFC for more then 24 years.

                  So I will end up paying four additional years with new EMI to HDFC which will make me a loss of almost 10-12 lac rupees.

                  HDFC is offering new customer 8.25 rates of interest where as even when I am a old customer with corporate tie up with the company – I am charged almost 11% rates of interest and I am screwed up by paying more EMI.

                  I have started legal proceedings against HDFC – and warn you all that dont take loan from HDFC other wise your people will also end up in soup and will have to pay huge for small things.

                  REQUEST YOU ALL TO TAKE LOANS ONLY FROM BANKING INSTITUTES AND NOT FROM ANY LTD COMPANY--
                  Ask following questions at time of taking loan.

                  1.Is the company having word “Bank” in its name.
                  2.If the company is refinancing company - take in written that – rates of interest in the company will be regulated as per RBI norms.
                  3.Only those people whose files are not getting approved from banks and documents are not clear enough and are in need of loan should opt for such institutes, but mind it these ltd companies slowly increases rates of interest and eats away your lots of money charging high rates of interest.

                  PLEASE NOTE – HDFC is a limited company and not a BANK. Only banking institutes or company with word “Bank” in its name are regulated by RBI.
                  Before signing any document of ltd company please read the terms and conditions completely and take a lawyers advise if needed before going ahead to sign the same.

                  Please disseminate this information to all your friends and relatives so that they are not cheated by any private company in case of loans / home loans.

                    I was staying at thane and own a flat at borivali which is given to rental for 11 months..

                    After 10 month I hv vacanted flat and surprisingly got credit card in my name for huge amount due which I hv never recd and used.

                    When I called them, HDFC informed that card is delivered in the name of vijay r poojary and at borivali flat.

                    HDFC BANK had not verified photo identy card of person who had submitted false docs with my name and address.

                    It is very common one should check original identy card of driving licence or pan card or office I card, since anyone whereas HDFC bank says he had given electricity bill and photocopy of driving licence for proof of residence and on that base we had issued.
                    HDFC bank should understand that, electricity bill will be always everywhere collected by LIsencee and photocopy can be altered as per any convience.

                    Due to negligant of not verifying orignal or identy card, problem incurred to me.

                    Now every day HDFC Bank credit card dept calls me and making arrasement for payment.

                    Pls advise for the same.

                      i had taken a car loan, with a promiose from the bank for speedy functioning and and swift loan. I agreed to pay 11.75% interest against the offer of 11.25% by SBI to be sure of getting the work done in specified time. I am an NRE custiomer with heavy investements with the bank itself. They promised to process the loan and give yes or no answers within the specified time frames. The loan was approved and files were approved. Then my co-guaranter (my mom) who gave ger passport (for address verification) and indian account statement asked during the process what signature should she be doing for the process (she uses one in the bank account and one in passport). The GM Mr. Sameer Kapoor suddenly fugured out after the finishjing of the whole processing and approval of my Loan that the sign in the address proof and on the form do not match for my co-guaranter.
                      Mind you this sudden discovery happened after i was given three calls by the bank representatives to reach the dealership to cpollect my Car as the DO will be released. Instead while i am sitting there and the dealership people are callingh the bank, no one gave us the correct nature of the problem and it was 4:30PM, while at 8:00 PM Mr Kapoor said that no DO since there is this signature problem. i requested that i have bought the music system and everyone at my home have arranged for the pooja (the typical indian stuff) and that if they want any further documents we can give by the next morning. But Mr. Kapoor in his true spirit of Customer Care refused to come on the phone.
                      I came back all humilated and crest fallen and tediously finished the last requirement by the bank with another promise that the car to be delivered that day by 3:30. Now the time of writing is 5:00PM. And since then i have given 38 calls to his office in last 5:30 hrs and yet he has not returned my call. So much for customer care. The way the treatment of my cae and non clarity of what exactly is happening behind the scenes is not even being discussed. So much for RTI.
                      I am now very surely going to launch a case against the HDFC loaning division and Sameer Kapoor for harrassment and demeaning behavior both in judicial courts and consumer courts. All i am requesting in this forum is that everyone with greivances or peiople who know people with pain inflicted in them by HDFC may please feel free to write to me at [protected]@gmail.com.
                      I want to compile such cases nation wide and present the truth behind the customer care and account handling by HDFC. Please write in so that we can accomplish this and save many many more customers from the agony and lies.

                      I had filed a consumer case against HDFC bank and have won a case against them recently .THis banks employees are so useless that i dont have words to describe this fools . They are are so stupid and arrogant and think that thye can get away with anything . they also routenly engage criminals for their dirty activities . contact a lawyer and file a case at them and maintain documents and you will win but offcourse this guys will not pay but will keep moving from one court to another.

                      I am K.V.Ramanathan, working as a seniors Lecturer in Bangalore, and my native place is Mannachanallur, Trichy. I took car loan from your HDFC Bank, Lakshmi Arcade, A 10, 11th cross Main Road, Thillai Nagar -18, on 28/05/2009 Rs. 1, 25, 000/- really I am very happy sanctioning of loan immediately, the sales person and Car loan Department head, every body helped me while sanctioning the loan immediately, really very surprise with in three days they make the payment.

                      Sir my problem is during the sanction of the car loan everybody helped to me after sanctioning the loan nobody help me, I am salary holder I having account in Indian overseas bank at Mannachannallur, while taking of loan application along with I enclosed ECS application duly signed by Manager IOB, this is first application then I given the first cheque they clear without any problem ok here in after they had present the cheque through ECS, for 7, 8….. month but they told me cheque was bounced at the time of cheque collection my account balance is good. They given the certificate noted as bounce reason is “No. Such Account”. And I went nearly 6 time to your branch office then I faced so many problem with customer care person, car loan manager they said something and car loan manager entirely changed ( I mean there behaviors ). There behaviors is highly irresponsible why I don’t know. Then I ask from manager, I said have to close my loan, they told me all rules and regulation ( first time they telling the rules) really I shocked while I taking the loan nobody explain this type of rules, ok this one type of business tactics then I request to him again I took second application of ECS duly sign by the Manger of IOB, forward to office then next month onwards same problem no such account. so that till December I was paid hand bill only also they charged fine Rs. 450/- and I submitted third ECS application duly sign by Manager of IOB( she scold me because this is third application ) same forward to branch office then they took action so that Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, I was paid my loan amount through ECS only,

                      May month onward again started problem now they told me “ Cheque bounce reason is” No such account, sir my question is Jan, Feb, Mar, April, they claimed through ECS ( I enclosed bank statement) then May Month onwards no such account how is possible ( I am having sufficiently amount in my account)
                      Every car loan department person known my sincere, prompt payment, really I fed up with your bank responsible, sir I request you to take needful further action and please avoid unnecessary action.
                      Sir I am graduate faculty you know very well competitive world if you loosing one customer also is very dangerous one because

                      Our company has taken Vehcile (Mahindra Scorpio) Loan No: 11023986 from HDFC for Rs. 7, 07, 000/- with repayment of Rs. 23, 564/-as EMI thru ECS on 7th of every month. On 6th May - 2009 we had Closing balance of Rs. 52, 146/- & 7th May - 2009 Closing Balance of Rs.1, 55, 964/-. How the ECS got boucned we are not able to understand, when there was sufficient funds in our bank account.

                      when I called HDFC regards this issue -in reply Mr.Srinivas Employee of HDFC Bank given a reply in a very rude manner and he was not in a position to listen to the customer. And this is the way HDFC people collecting extra money from customers.

                      hdfc ltd/home loan — it's unsafe to give post dated cheques to hdfc ltd

                      This is in reference to the unsatisfactory and unprofessional services provided to me by HDFC Ltd. wherein my credibility & track record has been hampered/challenged during one of the EMI settlements.
                      I would like to bring to your notice that my As I was having a credit balance of approx. INR 800 in my loan account with HDFC Ltd., I wanted to square up this credit balance in the EMI which I was to pay in the month of June 2009. As suggested by one of the Relationship Managers of HDFC Ltd., I had issued a new cheque i.e. ICICI Bank in place of the previously submitted cheque for the month of June 2009. I had issued this new cheque much prior to the due date (to HDFC branch, Bhilai, CG).On the receipt of the cheque the Relationship Manager also gave a telephonic confirmation on June 22, 2009 and I asked him to do the needful.
                      On Juy 01, 2009 I was shocked to see a debit balance in my account worth INR 386.00 due to the dishonour of cheque. I immedeatly called up the ICICI customer service to take an update of this debit balance.Then I came to know that HDFC has placed two cheques towards settling the EMI for the month of June, without my knowledge and out of the two cheques, one got dishonoured due to insufficiency of funds. Please let me understand why a customer has to bear an additional cost for no fault of his.As a financial institution Hdfc charges us interest/ fine if a customer fails to pay emi in time why not a customer ask Hdfc ltd to pay us a compensation for the harrasment a customer undergo to resolve the issue .

                      hdfc bank auto loan department really sucks! i will never recommend anyone to apply for a loan from this bank.after application these guys are not at all bothered...they will not pick up your calls, someone else picks up the phone and says 'the other guy has forgotten his/her phone on the table' they will keep on telling you this document is required that document is required and so on...5 days may take upto a month.

                      Please take action immediately and save customer from various diseases...!
                      I applied for car loan, HDFC people said you don't have enough experience in a company give one more relieveing letter of my very old company which i didn't have. They encouraged me to produce the unathorised certificate. But now direct HDFC bank team saying you did a big fraud, we will update your name in CBIL & and inform your present company HR so you will loose your job. They also threatened me to that they wud logde a police compliant. I asked for HDFC policy of action against Unauthorised document, One Mr.Bregwell & Mr. Manish of Bangalore indranagar branch literally threantended saying will take serious action againt the issue. They even locked me in a cabin and raised voice & pretending to hit. At the end they needed 2% of car loan amount not to diclose these issue to my employer and to CBIL. They dress decent, but are GUNDAS. I defended will not pay the amount. Anyone know verywell about this pls update me the procedures.

                      Pls do ignore HDFC bank for ANY & ALL bankings.

                      The same problem happened with me. On saturday, 22nd Aug, 2009 I have received the SMS from HDFC bank that my loan has been approved. I made the balance amount payment on the same date as the delivey date was 23rd Aug, 2009. At 7:30pmI have received a call from HDFC bank that there is proble with addres proof not possible delivery on 23rd.

                      I am vey surpirsed with the process of HDFC Bank.

                      HDFC Car Loans really cheats and deceives its customers

                      I had a Maruthi Omni vehicle wherein i was paying my car loan regularly and i wanted to pre-close the loan, but they never responded for preclosure even after paying my loans from 3 years. Finally an amount of Rs 40000/- was left and i request their executives i wanted to preclose the loan and to get a foreclosure letter but they never reverted back to me at any cost. Once when i had given my friend the vehicle when he went along with his family outskirts, there recovery people have seized the vehicle for non-payment and it was disastrous condition for me and my friend. Now i want to get rid of all these hurdles

                      1. Loan was sanctioned with the condition of repaying @Rs.4, 732/- per month starting from[protected] up to[protected]

                      2. Mode of payment was set through ECS from UTI Bank - Memari Branch, Burdwan, later renamed as AXIS Bank.

                      3. The payment system continued uninterruptedly up to[protected]. But from January, 2009 no EMI was cleared through ECS due to change in code of formerly named UTI Bank. And I have to pay directly to loan account with a view to avoid default.

                      4. I am surprised to note that an amount of Rs.450/- per month has been charged by your good office as "Bouncing Charge".

                      5. As a common man I should not be aware of the internal code change of a Bank. But as a banker you know the same fully well. Yet every month ECS instruction has been sent to wrongly coded bank. The customer has neither been intimated nor advised to submit the new code number. On the other hand I have made regular payment of the instalments. Thus charging of any amount to a customer with no fault will be unethical.

                      Therefore it is urged upon your goodself to cancel the ECS instruction immediately at your end and waive the "Bouncing Charges" charged so far. The EMI will be paid directly to loan account.

                      i AM AN EX Army Officer and On retirement I had suff8icient money but your Agent Sh Rajeev Sharma with his servicere advices, motivated me to take loan for my Car Honda City ZX . I repaid back in July 2010 through ECS every omth in time with one exception in Aug 2009, when my money could not be credited into my acoount by 8th Aug 2009.as a reesult ECS could not be cleared but immediately i deposited cash vide receipt no 18119211 dated 14-8-09. Now the complete repayment of loan has been made with lasr premium on 6th July 2010. But no objection and return of 10 blank cheques are withheld for want of some penalty amount of Rs. 7800/- as telephonically intimated by ur staff. I had requested to condone the same but no avail, especiaaly when I have repaid the whole amount in time except onewith six days delay in getting contacted for payment. Till date I have been requesting all concerned but no avail. May I reqwuest you to do the needful and clear my account by granting one time exception as a special case and being a sincere customer. If not possible at all, kindly send ur representative to collect the avoiudable penalty amount of Approx 7800/- and close the matter. BUt really there is much difference of attitute of your staff when loan is offered and later when No objection and return of Blank Cheques are done. Kindly see the bonafide vsincre customers sahouild not be subjected the unavoidable inconveniences and harassment.                       As it is very pathetic that I'll have to pay 31000 even I have already paid
                      my all EMI's...When I checked my account statment online it didn't show
                      me any extra charges and all and also nobody informed me that I am getting
                      extra charges other I don't have problem to pay in begining...if you do
                      the business like this way then it is so harsh to getting this news from
                      my...While I am checkging this information in my Net banking it is
                      invisible their...you are charging me in backend without informing me
                      which is unacceptable...

                      What happened to me that in the begining they transferred the money in my
                      account 21st octover 2008. at that time I told them a agent and in bank
                      customer care that pls. start my EMI's on December 2010 instead of november
                      2010 for this you can charge from me extra money and they were agreed with
                      that...but in a next month I got a call from you bank that my EMI has
                      been due...for all problem I made EMI's since that time and they didn't
                      informed me that they deposit my cheque and bouncing charges...but as a
                      good customer since that time I am continuously paying my all EMI's now for
                      a salary person you again charging 31000 extra money which is not
                      acceptable...if anyone can understand my problem or situation than please
                      do something for me...

                        HDFC Bank — NOT OPENING DEMAT ACC.

                        I have opened a Saving Bank A/c with HDFC Bank around four months back with an idea of opening a Demat account with the same bank. Representative from the bank who opened my saving bank a/c got filled the appropriate forms from me for opening of Demat A/c around three months back but inspite of repeated reminders and requests made to custome care centre of HDFC bank, i am still not able to open Demat A/c with the bank. In between the representative from the bank gave my mobile no to one of his friends who is looking after a private share trading company. He made me repeated calls to open the a/c with that company inspite of opening the a/c with HDFC bank. Now the HDFC bank representative is not responding to my calls and customer care executive make one or another excuse every other day and keep on assuring me that I will receive a call from Demat A/c personnel in this regard but till this time all in vain. Now I am fed up with the HDFC bank services and is there someway out in this regard. I am also planning to close my saving bank a/c with the HDFC bank.
                        The HDFC bank in Salem Tamil Nadu is in total disarray.The staff cannot guide the customers properly.A simple thing as address change takes four visits to the bank and yet not done. Every time a customer approaches for a service a new dimension is raised and he has to go back.Every body does not stay in Salem town.They are least bothered about the inconvenience to the customer.One wonders why private sector banks? To add to the bureacracy?

                        As per my experience HDFC is worst servcie provider. I have given request to open 3-1(saving, demat and trading) account request to one of HDFC exeutive on 16 Aug. My saving a/c opened last week and since then I am trying to call that executive named Mohan([protected]) for demat and trading account but he is keep on making excuses. Even the worst thing is that he is not picking my call since last three days. I called customercare but they are even same as that of executive. They assured me that they will take action against him but still noting happened...

                        PLEASE NEVER EVER OPEN ACCOUNT WITH HDFC BANK.
                        I have applied long bank for change of address in depository services. However, the adress for saving bank acount has been changed. Now I just wanted to know the procedure for address of depository acount in your bank. Please mail required form for the same, if possible.

                          I have faced a bad experience with HDFC bank. They said they would issue me a mortgage loan and asked for processing fees of Rs. 2500/- to process the loan. They said that without the processing amount, they cannot start the process. They said the loan would be sanctioned and so I agreed to pay for the processing amount. They agreed to provide me loan for 13.5% after verifying my details and my credit standing. And when the time of the signing of the agreement came within the next day of informing that they have approved my credit standing and other details, they said that the interest rate is 14.5% as their previous scheme got over. How is it possible that they inform one rate of one day and another rate after everything is agreed by the customer. I also informed them that I would want my lawyer to go over the agreement before I sign them and I cannot agree to an increase in the amount. Then they changed their tunes and informed me that they would give the loan for an interest of 13.5% as agreed earlier, but have to sign the agreement within the next 1-hour. I said that it is not possible to sign the agreement without my lawyer seeing it. Why is the HDFC bank against me showing the agreement to my lawyer? Why were they in a hurry to reduce the interest rate and make me sign the agreement when the issue of lawyer came up? Something is definitely wrong in their dealings. I refused to take their loan and I am happy that I made such a decision.

                          There is a real trap that private banks like HDFC and ICICI imply. They try to be good initially and when they think that we would be their customers, then they tend to act pricey. Again when they think they are losing their customer, they would again put forth new offers to lure you back to them. Beware of HDFC and ICICI dealings. They would trap customers in the end after signing agreements with them. They also refuse to refund processing fees initially promising loan sacntions. I request all of those who have dealings with these banks to be careful and not to fall into their trap.

                          I applied for a personal loan.That was the beginning of my frustrating experience with your bank the executive took documents from my office.Few days later I got a call from your loans division that I have a bad match for defaulting with Your Bank .I had never ever had any forget about being a defaulter.I clarified the same on the phone.My a/c AQB since last six month is more than 20k.after all the things u done five times physical verification on my residence and many times mobile call me add.no prob, But after that ur sales team told me ur case was rejected due to u r ot resding on this address so i was totally shocked by this unproffessional behaviour of this bank. I have many bank credit card with good limit without any relation.I am working with good company.So that i know every thing is good For a providing me a personal loan.and i already sent mail to customer care earlier but i did not get any responce from ur side, so that I want to close all the relation with ur bank.because no body is responsible in ur bank for coustomer problem.I want my documents back.Never mind if I dont get the documents.I have the originals and can reproducet the photocopies but I want them back cos I dont want any relationship with you.I have already a relationship with ur bank.The moment I get any other option I'll withdraw that as well.also in our industry people do keep asking about feedbacks.be sure that I will atleast detract 15-20 customers on an average every month who will detract more people from your services.Am trying this escalation mechanism just to check how you revert on this so that if ever I intend to go to consumer forum -I should be knowing how u took the matter up.Dont have much expectations anyways from you

                          I hv availed Rs.1.13 lac in may'08 and EMI of Rs. 4085/- is being automatically swapped from my HDFC savings bank till date. It is quite rediculous to know, that Bhubaneswar branch is aksing Rs.500 for giving loan statement. We have been charged exorbitant interest rate while bank should not ask for such service.
                          I had a lots of faith on HDFC bank for service, even if i have invested max. amount in HDFC bank and also promoting other to avail products from HDFC, by knowing such statements from the bank staff we have lost the faith on the bank.

                          Pl. looked into this matter with Orissa Bhubaneswar Branch.

                          Beware of taking Personal Loan - Poor services

                          I have faced a bad experience with HDFC bank. There is not customer satisfaction from HDFC Bank.

                          I have applied for personal load from HDFC (Kalyan Branch) and loan amt is only Rs.65000. date of Application was 23/03/2009.I have submitted all the necessary documents and they told that your loan will be sanctioned and processed in a week. But even after 25 days i had received no response from the bank. When I have contacted the bank, they said that i have filled in a wrong Loan Application form.

                          Then they given me New Form to fill. I have fill the form again on 27/04/2009.I already had a Pre Approved sactioned Loan of Rs 1, 00, 000/-. from HDFC bank. I have been informed that i you have pre approved loan then it will take only 2 working to process.

                          After 5 days I got SMS from HDFC Bank that my loan application no 14861280 has received for processing.
                          Then on 12/05/2009 i have received SMS from the bank saying that my loan has been approved and ready from disbursement.
                          But the worst part the bank that till now i have'nt received the amount.
                          After 10 days when i call the bank to know the status... what the bank has told me that your loan file is misplaced in audit. so the bank cannot disburse the loan amount. and told me to submitted all the document agains, if the loan to be disburse.

                          Finally i have just wasted my time almost 2 months with no results.
                          i ve misbehaved by one lady staff named elina of hdfc bank bhubaneswar branch which is located at master canteen and also she is behaving as a 3rd class girl to customer kindly control ur staff or u will loose ur brand name

                          Hello Sir/Madam,
                          My name is Kamal Preet Singh resident of Banur (pin-140601) having a bank acc. in HDFC branch Rajpura Calibre Market. I am living in jalandhar since 1 month, which is near about 150km from rajpura. I needed to deposit 4000 RS urgently through the branch which is near by my residence which is near bus stand Jalandhar. But the branch official refused to let me access, giving me the excuse that their rules had been changed, and now i have to deposite the money from my home branch. But as I was not been informed about this prior, so its been their responsibility to find me some way, looking to my urgency. But the way they responded was clearly showing their attitude of not concern.
                          Here my point is when all other banks are providing this facility of bank flexibility why HDFC has withdrawn this right of mine.
                          The behaviour of the employee named Ms. P. Walia cabin no. 4, at HDFC branch Jalandhar(near bus stand) was very rude and she was no where willing to look at my problem. As per her Iam a B-2 grade customer and HDFC does not provide this facility to such a person. When i informed her that my bank balance never goes down below Rs 10000/- and i too have an FD of 1L, also iam a regular netsafe user
                          that clears that Iam a profit making customer how could they put me in B-2 grade, I didnt recieved any response.
                          So I request your kindness to look into the case and take some urgent step. Otherwise if nothing could be done I would like to close my relations with HDFC. Iam looking forward to your response.

                            dear Sir,

                            I have a Saving Bank account with HDFC bank and a representative contacted me for offering a Gold credit card with Add on card. HDFC card also offered a scheme where in i can pay back my total purchase amount by converting into EMIs by paying prossing charges of Rs.300/- I bought a Cell phone worth Rs.18000/-and applied for EMI scheme of Rs. 2055/- per month.

                            but to my horror i received statement worth Rs. 18000/- + Processing Fees. i rushed back to HDFC Bank Credit card. I told them what has happened. they said they will convert the same into EMI. next statement i received with EMI amount Rs.2055/- + late Payment Fees and Intrest. Since then till date i am constantly contating this companie's customer care representatives and sending Email to them to waived of wrongly chaged late fees and Intrest but all in vain. i have already paid Rs. 12000/- towards EMI and still this company asking me to pay Rs.21785.20. I have a very serious complaint that HDFC BANK CREDIT CARD has intentionally generated the statement with Rs. 18000/- so that they can charge late fees and intrest to me, even after opted for EMI option. Also I have received abusive calls from collection centre. My parents are thretended by collection agaent while I was in office. Now they have Put a hold on my Savings account and stating that all my funds will be forfitured. I am mentally harrsed by this company for their greed. Kindly Help Me

                            I have immediately entered complaint in Central Bank India Complaint Register and inform their Manager.

                            And at the same time I have informed to HDFC help Line.

                            After that I have followed several times to Ms. Priya HDFC Bank.

                            Today As discussed with Mr. Varun I am sending attached copy of receipt but it is very old and fed that’s why not clear.

                                I Vishal Pathak, have HDFC Gold Credit Card(Number-[protected]) with myCity Benefit card
                                having smartpay option enabled. I am using this city benefit card from last 3 months, also enable bill pay option for MSEB, my 2 mobile numbers & a policy. While giving me this card bank executive told me that i will get 1.5% cash back on each bill paid. But in last 3 month i have never got a single penny from bank as cash back. During this period i called customer care(pune) thrice for the same which cost me almost 20 rs, which is much higher than the cash back i am expecting in a month.

                                  I have a HDFC account in Constancia Bldg,Dr. U. N Bramacharia Street brach ,Kolkata-700017, West Bengal. My account number[protected] . Last month I found that my debit card is not working though I have balance in account after that I called phone banking[protected] services and they told me that my account is closed and advice me to contact branch office. I went there and wanted to meet branch manager but the person sitting in welcome desk told me to give writing and they will call me with in 7 days and refund my balance. But after 20 days they didn’t call me and not even send any draft. Then I called phone-banking services and talked to Mr. Pradipta Banarjee and told him whole episode, he assured me that he will give my contact number to the branch office and they will contact me shortly. But after 3 days nobody contact me. Then I again called phone-banking services and wanted to talk Mr. Pradipta Banarjee. But person received my phone told me that he has talked to Mr. Banarjee and assured me that Mr. Banarjee will contact me in that same day. But he didn’t contact me.

                                    The only way to handle these cases seek legal help and record all conversations with the call center and collection agents. In case of abusive harassment on the phone walk to the nearest police station and lodge a complain with the recorded conversation.

                                    I Have HDFC Credit Card with number [protected].

                                    Yesterday I got a call to pay the dues and penalty (In total Rs. 15525/- ), Immediately I went for clarification, they showed me some partial statement which was not clear to me, I asked for a detailed statement but the recovery team told me that their system shows only this much and they cannot provide me a detailed one, The way the spoke to me was very harsh and they were reffering me most of the time as a fraud which hurts me a lot. If I was a fraud I wouldn't have gone to their branch yesterday, but they said that you will be made to come to the branch.

                                    Today due to the pressure and threathening from them I have given a Cheque of Rs. 15525/- (Citi Bank. Cheque Number: 472961) to the recovery team (Bangalore –Airport Road).
                                    The due date of the Cheque is 21st Aug. 2008.

                                    I need to verify this due amount which HDFC is claiming that I have to pay, before paying to HDFC. As I had changed my company during November 2004
                                    But I could not change the address of this credit card account. This was done with the assumption that I have closed all my dues with HDFC credit card.

                                    As now you are asking for the dues, hence please send me the statement details during this period so that I can verify the charges. I will keep this Cheque payment on hold unless I verify these penalty details through the statement.

                                    Please send electronic copy of statements from Nov 2004 till date. This shall help me in clarifying my doubts.

                                    If I don’t receive the statement in electronic form before 21/08/2008, I will hold the payment and the payment will not happen.

                                    HDFC Credit Card Late fee — Undue Harassment for Credit Card Payment

                                    Hi,

                                    My credit card no. was [protected].This credit card has already been expired in Nov 2006.Against this card I have done only one shopping in Delhi for Rs. 560/- only and for which I have already paid the payment through the cheque in due time.

                                    Now this card has already been expired and no longer exists.But after a gap of 2 years, HDFC bank is asking a late fee of Rs. 4400/- from me.I do not know how this figure comes now.

                                    They have also sent me a legal notice to my address and asking me for this amount, otherwise they will take legal action against me.

                                    Everytime, I ask them about my statement when & where I have done this shopping, please provide me statement so that I can pay the amount.But they are not in a position to provide me the same, rather they ask for the above said money.They do not have a basis for this calculation, still they need money.

                                    Now after some days they want me to pay Rs. 1600/- and make the final aggrement with them.But I do not have to pay more that Rs.1/- to close this transaction.I really do not understand how a late fee for a transaction of Rs.560/- can arrive at figure of Rs. 1600/- after 2 years and on what basis?

                                    Really these people are begging like hell and harrasing the customers? They beg us initially for getting the credit card without giving a single penny & their executives even come down to your place to get it done everything at their cost, but afterwards make you to harrass at later stage.

                                    Please suggest us what to do now and how to close this issue.

                                    i m creditcard holder of hdfcbank i m just fed up with d service provided by hdfc creditcards people someday before i called crdt card dept to know my outstanding a guy said dat my outstnd was 15000 as i have nt recd bill of dat mnth i mae a payment immediately through chq i waschrgd late fee & finc chrg for dat few days i called back a guy dat system were so would give me a callback few min later he called me n said he would reverse dat but i have to take thier insurance policy from dat day they were harassing me like anything den i called back i escalated dat call i had talk with mr dominic floor mgr of crdt dept he said dat guy was a new one so called me after dat he cut my call i would like to mr dominic dat wen a guy is new y dey r allowed take calls nd sales pressure also would to suggest dat pls train ur new guys properly after dat make dem to attend a call otherwise u will loose ur preferred cust for dat

                                        I am having a salary a/c with hdfcbank also having a Credit card aslo run a personel loan from hdfc bank.
                                        On Dec-07. I need some so that I applied for a personal loan inhdfc as I already run a loan from hdfc and having a good track record. I called customer service 20 time every time they said the are sending executive to my place till know I didn't heard or see the executive might he's coming from america.....
                                        I fadeup with all these silly question I complaint to hdfc bank directly but there is no response ......
                                        so what I suggest friends go to any bank but not the hdfc bank other wise you face a customer care that you don't imagine and also why I am not taking my step back because I don't wanna loose my credit record other wise I don't wanna pay a single rs. to that bank.
                                        I apply ICICI for a personal loan and my file is under process once it's approved then I forclosed the hdfc loan and don't go for that bank any more.

                                        This is bring for your knowledge I got the personal Loan from your Bank on the name of Tarlochan Singh account

                                        no. 91022976. Which one I had paid on 24/09/2009 for Rs.30, 000/- by receipt no 18693873. But despite of full and final

                                        payment your bank has issued arrest warrant for me without any intimation without any phone call. On Saturday28.11.09

                                        two police men came from Patiala at our home and show my arrest warrant and insist to bring my father or brother to come

                                        with them. By chance i was not at home my brother shown them payment receipt but they was not ready to hear them.

                                        That was very critical time for us. I am very upset because we belong to a simple family nobody has face this type of

                                        situation. I could not sleep from to nights may be this situation bring me till of the suicide. I do not know who is wrong me

                                        or bank but that was disgusting for me. When i talk with your lawyer he said it should be happen with me. I have to present

                                        at Patiala front of AK Aggarwal JMIC.

                                        Unfortunately fund was not sufficiant during the ECS Payment stint, eventhough i missed the ECS on time, I paid the Personal Loan EMI with the penality charge after a day through a Cheque.

                                        HDFC received the cheque payment and even after that they again sumitted the lapsed EMI into my Savings account. As there was no fund ECS lapsed and my bank charged me 300 for the lapsed ECS.

                                        It is quite ridicule that even after getting the EMI; HDFC Bank is creating nuisance to its customers. HDFC is not even looking at the history of transactions I have been doing so far.

                                        The most dusgusting part is that HDFC Customer care is not reponding properly.

                                        This is with reference to the loan no. 17317450.
                                        I have applied for the personel loan on 10th September 2010 and had submitted all the required documents, for which I have received the confirmation also. I was informed that the amount will be transferred to the account in a weeks time but its 12 days now and I am eagerly waiting for the same. I am in great trouble if I don't get the amount at the earliest. If not possible, then at least revert so that I may look for the second option.

                                        i was applied for personal loan in 19 November 2010 at Matunga branch. They told me take 5 to 7 days today 10 dec 2010, 22 days are gone but i dint get any response from HDFC bank

                                        Please don't ever applied for any loan or the credit cards to the HDFC Bank. I have a very bad experienced with HDFC bank. I have taken a personal loan of 70, 000 in the month of Jan' 2011 from HDFC bank. So far they don't even gives me the welcome Kit. Whenever I tried to reach them, not picking the phone or else giving other unrelated excuses. They always tries to cover their fault. So I just want to make aware to all of you the rediculous system of HDFC bank.

                                        I am Ghanshyam Patil I had taken Personal loan from HDFC in the monyh of Febb'11.
                                        for that loan my friend Mr.Mohan Shelke was co-borrower.
                                        I had taken Top up loan to clear my old loan in Aug'11.As i had receved sms my old loan is Foreclosed because of my new top up loan.

                                        still that old loan ammount is showing outstanding on the account of my friend Mr.Mohan Shelke in the CIBIL report generated for his housing loan.
                                        so request you to clear that old loan oustanding in CIBIL report as i had alraedy closed my old loan.
                                        Because of that outstandding My friend is Facing problem to get his housing loan.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I am Gowree Sankara Rao Kurmana, i had taken personal loan from HDFC one week back. while approving the loan, they told it will be approved with 1% processing fees and insurance weaver with 16.25% interest rate and EMI of 5Years. but when i received the money it got changed to 16.50% interest rate, 3years EMIs, processing fee of 2% and insurance also deducted. And when i called them, they were saying we are not responsible for that. Very bad support and cheated me in this way.
