[Resolved]  Hindustan Lever Ltd - Pure It Water Filter — Battery change

Dear Concern,

With respect to the above subject, I requested to change the batter kit on 30.10.2008 after that I have spoke to call center more than 10 times, till date no one bother to come and change the same.

When I called, each time they promised to send same day or next day. Till now nothing is taken place.

I feel buying this product is good but service of HLL to customers is very bad in this product.

I suggest people to think twice before buying this product. My request with company is when you cant serve to customers please stop selling this product instead off trubling the customers.

We have purchased a Purit filter yesterday (23/6/2009). THe unit is not collecting water in the transparent container but leaking on all sides. We have still not received a customer id nor the custcare allotted a complaint number. THe person installing the unit has collected the money but has not replaced the unit. Why should a customer keep a unit that is not working on installation itself. Our calls to the customer care centre has not given us any relief. They keep saying they will replace but when is the question. This is bad service for a company like HLL.
i have purchased pureit from a dealer in Kotkapura Distt Faridkot Punjab (Sl number RPM[protected] Till Now i have not received a Bill and no one is representing for pureit in my city . i need to change the battery and i want a bill please suggest me what should i do

I had placed a request with your coutomer care for the battery change 22 Jul 2009.. After that I spoke to call center daily, but till date no one bother to come and change the same.

When I called, each time they promised to send the service engineer on same day or next day. But I’m afraid still compliant is pending.

Yesterday (18-Aug-2009) again I launched the complaint and strictly told them if they will not send the service engineer for battery and tab, I’ll return this product.

According to me product is ok, but the service is very poor and frankly speaking I am not satisfied with the service.

I have decided to return this product and take serious action against Hindustan Lever Pure-it.

Even I am suggesting to other think twice before buying this product.

Hindustan Lever Pureit Water Filter — Battery Replacement - No Response till date

I purchased an Pureit Water filter from HLL and have been using it for some time. I have ordered for a Battery replacement kit on 10th August 2009 and am yet to receive it. The company promised to respond and replace battery in 3 working days when i bought it and it seemed ideal. But now despite innumerable calls and escalation to manager at their call center there is no action. I have spoken to Mr. Rajesh, Ms. Veronica and Mr. Mathew their manager and many more till now at their call center and all that i hear is that an agent will definitely call the next day. I have been spending Rs. 100 everyday to buy water and now it has come to a stage that i have to decide on other options i guess. I wish the company takes note of their lousy after sales service and mend it. HLL is currently offering the 1 crore challenge to customers to name options VS its product. What with the after sales service they are offering, soon their wish will come true, customers have already started thinking of options and, i am sure i'll find one.

I have lodged a complaint on 26/8/2009 for zero filtration, As I didn't see any response in 48 hours, I placed the complaint one more time on 28/8/2009 but I still don't see any response from you guys. every time I call customer service, they are more than happy to give complaint nos but not the solution. your product is good but the service is pathetic.

if you can't give a good service to the consumer you better stop selling the product.

It is really very shameful that some companies in India are cheating Indians like Hindustan Unilever. This company actually is not an Indian company. Wherever this company goes, changes its name like Hindustan Unilever, Pakistan Unilever etc. I suggest to all that if you have problem file a case against the company in CONSUMER FORUM.
I have been using the Hindustan Unilever pureit water filter for the last three years. Every time I want to replace the battery kit, I go through hell of a experience. After sales service is very poor. Hindustan Unilever is a faceless organization because it hides itself behind the BPO operations. People are warned to think several times before they choose to buy this contraption. Extremely poor after sales service.

I am very much surprised that your branch/franchisee are really prompt in their service for a battery change request from me at Coimbatore, which is still to be attended since 1 month and wasting our fuel in the gas for boiling and drinking. Since we are staying in an apartment in Vadavalli, Coimbatore I want to display your pureit as a show piece to others as it is of no use without battery. I would also like to mail that we are one of the earliest customers of your product when it was launched.Can we display your product like that of in a museum?

Hindustan Unilever Ltd./Pureit — False Promises done at the time of selling by the company

Dear Sir,

I purchased Pureit (Blue unit) on 31 Jan 2009 vide. Bill No. IS09/DLI[protected]. My Customer ID: [protected]. The agent's name who came to install it: Parveen (ID: 30898).

At the time of purchasing the unit I made it very clear so many times with the agent and one time called the company's office at Daryaganj to cross-check with the higher authorities that for how long I will be able to run on the supplied battery and when I should go for another battery replacement. This agent and the higher authorities confirmed me a hundred of times that it will take atleast 1 year and in my case as I am using the purified water from Aquaguard first and then into this unit so this battery pack will go on for atleast moer than 1.6 years.

Now the battery pack shows fully RED and the water is not dispensing at all. When I contacted the Customer Care on 5 Oct 2009 (Morning time) and the agent, the customer care representative talked so rude to me and the agent disconnected the call after hearing this issue.

PLEASE HELP ON THIS ISSUE AS I CAN SEE THAT THIS COMPANY IS FOOLING MANY PEOPLE ON THIS GROUND OF BATTERY PACK.

We have purchased pure it on 27.07.09 from Prabhat Appliances( Kalyan West) after three months the water filter is not working and the battery showing red in only three months. I have called to pure it helpline on friday i.e. 23.10.09

Till date nobody has came to check they assure us on every call that they will send somebody in three days but I am really sorry to say you that nobody has come to see the complaint. the service is very poor and the instrument is also not working properly. for fill the pot we have to wait for long time.

In three months they are asking us to change the battery. please look into the matter and send somebody urgently to see the complaint.

Hindustan liver Pureit water puriefier — Kit replacment not yet done

I had registered a complaint in your costomer care cell for the replacement of the battery kit on 17th of Oct 2009 & was promisd to have the kit replaced within 5 working days, but nothing happened . on the 23rd of Oct 2009 i called again checking for the batery kit replacement call given on the 17th Oct, here your costomer care associate had promised to get it done on the same day or the very next day. But no body turned up for the replacement of the battery kit, On the 27th Oct at 17:51 hrs i received a SMS from PUREIT reading as follows ( Dear costomer, your complaimt no C[protected] has been attended. Please give your feedback as '' SER 1'' if satisfied els '' SER 0 '' i[censored]nsatisfied to [protected]. team Pureit.
Now tell me what am i soppose to be doing for such kind of costomer care serviceses.
I am still waiting for the battery kit to be replaced by Pureit.
