[Resolved]  ICFAI University — Annual fees harassment

ICFAI — Excess Fee

At the time of joining the course they asked to me to Pay a Fee of Rs55, 000 and Tution Fee of Rs 10, 000, and said you can clear the course with in spain of 7 (seven) years and there will be no other fee. Later for every exam they collected a Fee of RS 1000 per exam every qurter. And I was not able to take exam in 2 qyrs due personal problem, now after a span of 2.5 yrs, they say that there is a due of RS 1000 as annual charges which was never told to me at the time of joining the course.

Is there any way / possibility to get back my course fee??

I am student of ICFAI, at the time of addmition i was given assurity to adjust me at my conviniance place and permit me to attand clases my desiered collage from the list of colages, Now no one taking care of that, even they are telling that we are not consern about this only u have to go to Hydrabad for this... how it is posible, a given promis ware not setify

As far as I am concerned, ICFAI, I guess education is a good business for these guys, and they charge around not less then 70, 000 Rupees which is almost equlivant to getting into a regular college. Why does the Indian Educational Board does not take any action in nullifying such educational boards?.
Are they also a partly benefited by under the table and over the table dealings??.

The educational institutes are a profit institutes now a days exceptionally the Private owned one's.

I am also a student of ICFAI pursuing MBA. I am availing the training class facilities as promised in the program prospectus. My local branch arranged the faculty for conduct of classes. Why cannot you approach the program coordinator at your nearest branch. Otherwise you can call Student Services Department at toll free numbers to resolve your issue.

ICFAI is a private University and fee structure is at higher side as no aid is provided from Government. Every product deserves its value depending on quality and utility. The quality of education imparted by the Institute is among the top ranking Institutions in India. ICFAI alumni are most sought after professionals in corporate sector. The program fee is clearly spelt out in the program prospectus, you should have compared with other Institutes before enrolled into the program. Why to crib now.

icfai university in not approval from u.g.c or a.i.c.t.e . it has 6 branchases in all over india.. but it is not recognised by any act. its degree is [censored], and plsssss don't try to take in icfai tech.. all branches of icfai tech in to bad. and they will try to popular in india so it advertised so many things in newspapers news etc... so plsss don't join icfai tech... because ur future will go in dark...

i shashank shekhar student of icfai tech bangalore.. it is not recognised college by any act like UGC or AICTE, and its degree is fake.. icfai university is bad for any student who apply here.. so plss don't come in icfai tech...faculty is not gud and placement is so bad.. because no any company is come because it is fake university and its degree in not valid in all over world.. i[censored] passed b.tech programme, u don't apply for heigher studies like MBA or M.TECH in any recognised university or colleges... so plsssssssssss don't come icfai tech dear...

I am a student of Icfai university Gurgaon I have enrolled in this three years back and paid the full fees.That time Icfai assured me that your membership will be valid for 7 years from now after full payment of fees.but they had blocked my user ID and also threatening me that if I dont pay annual fees of Rs.1000 I will lose my membership and this is real harassment of students this university ias really a money making university on the name of education. I think all the offenders who call themselves as the founders of the university should be punished with legal action against them.

I feel shame on your complaint against ICFAI without having proper knowledge dont blame on ICFAI this is the reputed and UGC under section 2(F) act 1956 approved by uGC. its degree is also useful and legal degree . I think you have not got fullfill satisfaction on expectation management. there are some people i[censored] offerd them ur own blood they will say it is not blood it red color.

ICFAI university is approved by govt it's all documents are legal this is the only university who provide student best amongest the best education in Indian education Market within minimum fees structure. I am Alumni of this university right now I am earning 9 lack PA salary package I have done my MBA from ICFAI university.

I am very angry with ICFAI and let me tell you that i enroll with icfai mba program last year and at that time they have assured me that the fee structure are going to increase in coming few month thus trusting their word i took admission and within 3 to 4 months after my enrollment the fees reduced by 20, 000. Before taking admission their agents use to call me 10 times in a day to take admission but today they dont even have time to solve my query and are "very busy". I just want to ask them do they have any answer for people like me whom they assured us aren't we right in calling u cheaters and i know how " well reputed icfai is". i want answer do anything.

Any institute revises fee with passage of time. You seem to have joined earlier but could not complete the course during validity period. Instead of murmuring over revised fee, read well and concentrate on early completion of the program.

This is to bring your kind attention that Chitkara University Barotiwala, Distt. Solan (H.P) is charging fees in excess of approved rates fixed by Governor of Himachal Pradesh.For the session 2009-10, the fees is Rs 1, 08, 000/- (Tution Fee Rs 60, 000/- + Rs 48, 000/- as Hostel Fee including messing laundry, internet facility & other allied facilities) as per fixed by governor of Himachal Pradesh for Engineering Students but Chitkara University Barotiwala, Distt. Solan (H.P) demands Rs 1, 56, 000/- (Tution Fee Rs 1, 00, 000/- + Rs 56, 000/- as Hostel Fee including messing laundry, internet facility & other allied facilities). We have already pay Rs 78, 000/- i.e Ist Instalment for the academic session 2009-10.And We have to pay the final or balance is Rs30, 000/- as per approved rates but Chitkara University Barotiwala, Distt. Solan (H.P) demands balance Rs 78, 000/-.is to be deposited before December 7th, 2009.So, Kindly arrange to instruct strictly Chitkara University Barotiwala, Distt. Solan (H.P) to follow the orders of Governor of Himachal Pradesh at your earliest.Plz sir take the effective action agianst the Chitkara University Barotiwala, Distt. Solan (H.P) and save Future and Money of Candidate who trapped in University.

I completly disagree. I am pursuing MBA from ICFAI and a boy of a poor family background. My dream was to complete MBA. Doing MBA from any regular universities or from Sikkim Manipal University or from Amity will cost too much (more than lakhs) So ICFAI is not a better but a best option for MBA
