Dear Sir,

I am BIJO JOSEPH I joined icfai university in MBA distance education program in the year 2008 and paid advance Rs.10000.00 and Rs. 32,500.00 and balance of Rs.26,000 is to be paid . I was trying for opportunities in abroad and i asked them if iam breaking the fees and study can i pay later and continue my studies after 2 years till 7 years they confirmed from the ICFAI Pimpri branch Pune, Maharashtra Executive Ms.Roshini . As my financial staus wasnt good and i got a opportunity abroad i informed the ICFAI centre the branch manager and the executive Ms. Roshini from ICFAI Pimpri branch , Pune Maharashtra who provided me the education scheme.

I mailed the university email id in detail about the discussion after discussing with the branch manager and executive Ms.Roshini of ICFAI study centre, Pimpri Pune,Maharshtra but now iam getting call that my name is displayed in defaulters list website .i asked the explanation to the university they are asking me to pay the full amount to release my name from the list.

kindly help me to come out of this situation iam not financialy strong. They are cheating many students like me kindly put fulstop for these cheaters.

Iam student for Icfai distance education program from the year 2008 and regularly payed my fees on time. I got an opportunity in saudi arabia and my financial status was weak,i intimated the ICFAI pimpri branch and informed them that i will return back from abroad and continue my MBA program and so iam stopping my cheque paymment this was discussed with the branch manager and executive Ms. Roshini who provided me admission. They adviced me its ok we can do but by prior mail intimation to the ICFAI UNIVERSITY. Then i mailed the details to ssd details attached below about stop payment of my cheques and reasons.

Now iam told by Mr.Ramesh from ICFAI bundgarden road branch that my name is defaulters list and it exhibited in the defaulters website.

Kindly guide me what is to be done i have paid Rs.32,500 till date balance of Rs.26,000.00 but due to my job and financial crisis iam not able to continue my studies now buti will continue after the 2 years time period.

please help me out in this situation as this is affecting my future kindly provide me a solution.

Regret to inform till date, settlement of my above account has not been made by the PF Office , Hyderabad.

I Did PGDBA (Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration ) in Marketing and Finance in 2008.
I got provisional certificate of same but i did not get Transcript of PGDBA,I have got Education Loan For that and I sent the same Matter to Head quarter of ICFAI University Hyderabad by e-mail but did not get any response. I request you please inform me what supose to do toget the same.

I was enrolled in your MBA Distance Learning Programmed as a Flexible Education on the dated 05/10/2006. I got Diploma in Business Management degree on the dated 09/08/2007.Then after I got Advance Diploma in Management degree on the dated 07/02/2008.I have clear successfully my MBA on the dated 12/02/2009. Above all the degrees are certified by the university.
At the time of enrollment, university has given me written commitment and registered me in the Special Placement Scheme offered by Alchemist HR Services Private Limited. As per the scheme, I have paid Rs. 4,500 to Alchemist. According to the scheme Alchemist undertakes to provide placement to the successful students of MBA program within 3 months who receives the Program Completion Certificate.
After the too much hard work and sacrificing of my career’s golden three years I have completed my MBA Progarm. Than after I got my Program Completion Certificate on the dated 12th Feb. 2009’.Today this matter has taken more than 3 months.Lots of time I have mailed and contacted to your branch (ICFAI Branch, Ring Road, Surat.) and also called at University (Hyderabad) for the same matter. But there is not proper reply and even a satisfied follow up from your side.

I, Trija Subba had appointed for the post of counselor Employee ID 1R14744 in ICFAI at Gangtok Branch on 10th May 2007.

Since, I was satisfied with my job profile but due to some personal reasons I had to leave the job. I worked for 10 months and had already submitted hard copy of my resignation letter to the centre on 1st of March 2008 and mail the soft copy of same to centre along with a copy to Area Manager. I send PF withdrawal form no. 19, 10c and NSSN along with salary slips but later i came to know that they lost my PF form. Again they asked me to send the same and they assure me that within 3/4 months my final settlement will clear. Again i send it on 25th March 2009 which they received on 1st April 2009. But now its already been 7 months n my PF is still pending. I contact to HR of ICFAI he told me that they had forwarded my forms to central HR for processing formalities to produce in Andhra Pradesh Provident Fund office.

So, it would be kind enough if you could kindly look into the matter.

I joined distance learning MBA 1 yr before & i paid an amount of 84,500 as fees.. As per the prospectus, it's stated that if a candidate failed to meet his eligibility criteria, his application will be cancelled and money will be refunded afer deducting some admission fees. and also I was told at the first itself that training fees is refundable. Now i dont have the eligibility criteria. I'd submitted them the documents to prove tat i didn complete my graduation. still they are not ready to refund the fees.They are not even ready to refund my training fees. So kindly consider my matter n help me to get it refunded so tat it'll be of great help to me.

I have initially taken admission in ICFAI distance learning MCA Program through an agent. I have paid 5000/-
initially and agreed to avail the EMI facility through post dated cheques for next 12 months. I was employed during that time but in contract basis.Since the contract got over, I was running out of money and the cheques provided them were dishonored.

They started sending me legal notices stating to clear the EMI due. I have intimated them many times through email that my financial condition is not good because of which I want to discontinue the course. Even after my repeated request they continued to send me legal notices.

Now they have filed a criminal case SR No. 11360 of 2009 on the file of III Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad under section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act.

If I don't have enough money to study then how can I study. Shall I sell myself and clear the EMI?

Please let me know how to get rid of this problem? Your co-operation is important to me as well as for others. Looking forward for your possible help.

I am doing correspondence or distance learning MBA from ICFAI University.I am Jammu resident.My query is that when I took admission in tis university its related to Hyderabad now its related to Tripura. One of my friend says that ICFAI not permitted to open their study centers in india. He refund his money back. He is regular student.

Now what should I do? Is it valuable in government job? Will J&K board will accept this? Is my last two years lost?

Dear ppl,

I have applied for the course called CFA in ICFAI distance education on the year of 2008,on the day of registration for the course they told me that i need to pay 24000rs and i agreed with them and gave a cheque but the lady called Ms Risitha she requested and advised me to pay half as first installment and rest of the amount as Installment so i asked her is there any Intrest for the remaining amount .the answer what i got was"ABSOLUTELY NO".then i said ok fine with it and went on with the process.i paid my 4 months due of 2450rs at that time i heard a news that there was some problem with INC so i requested my bank to stop the payments for the cheque but the asked for an NOC stating that i have taken a loan and so on.

While getting my application for the course there was a clause in it saying im taking a loan from some credit agency called HML.So end of the day im liable to some credit agency without my knowledge.

so i request every body to think before you leap your legs

can anyone tell me why INC website is closed from almost three months. all those stupids who favor icfai, can they explain why this college dont have a website of its own?

I have enrolled with icfai and my id is MBA2077979 before enrolling they called me every day to pay my fees and now once after i paid all my fees dues i do not see any updates or phone calls from them.

I don't know what am i suppose to do or where should i have to complain and they have also vacated the office without prior information.

If any one can help please do some thing for this issue.

Dear Sir,

I have enrolled for the MBA program in ICFAI on 29 May 2009 and paid an initial sum of Rs.10.000 along with 15 PDCs of Rs. 4700 each wherein the first PDC has already been honored and the second has been dishonored as I have cancelled the PDCs. I want to withdraw from the program as I am going through a huge financial crisis in my life due to loss of job and also because of the recent controversies going on against ICFAI university on their recognition which made me loose the trust on the university. I did not attend any of the classes conducted by ICFAI nor availed any services from them. I have sent an email to the university stating the reason for my withdrawal from the program but there was no positive response from them and instead they have sent three legal warning letters asking me to pay the complete fee and threatened to take a legal action against me. Please kindly help me on this issue.

Dear Sir,



With reference to ICFAI’s reply to above mentioned subject, it is very disappointing that ICFAI is giving false statements not only to its students but also a national level organization like CORE. It’s very strange that on same e-mail id earlier two e- mails are not received but third one received!!



1) ICFAI has stated that I have been supplied with course ware, CDs, & study materials for group A, which is not true. If so let ICFAI to provide the vide acknowledgement received from me to you. ICFAI was only lied to me that course materials were already sent without sending anything. (Pls refer attached doc. File. Page no 6 point No 2).



2) ICFAI is stating that I have availed other services from university for more than 3 months. Can ICFAI give the details of services it provided to me other than unfair practices of false statements.(Pls refer page no 6 & 7 of attached doc. File, for detailed false statements of ICFAI.)



3) ICFAI is also stating that I made appeal to withdraw from program for some personal reason!. Which is beautifully made story. Let ICFAI to provide documentary appeal sent by me stating personal reasons. The reason for withdrawing from program was only because o[censored]nfair practices of ICFAI.(Pls refer page NO. 6, 7 & 9 of attached doc. File which is clearly communicated to ICFAI regarding its unfair practices).



4) Regarding details of deductions no any earlier communication was sent to me by ICFAI. They deducted 5600/- without any information & for zero service provided.



Now I hope all these above points with supporting documentary e-mails proves you the unfair practices of ICFAI University . And same would make clear to ICFAI also why I am referring the case to CORE.

Dear Sir,



With reference to your communication through E-mail dated May 05, 2009, regarding a complaint by Mr. Santhosha S.Nayak, it is intimated that we have not received earlier communication on the subject from you.



However, we would like to furnish the following facts on the issue for your information.



Mr. Santhosha S. Nayak enrolled into MBA program, offered by ICFAI University, Tripura, is a private university, which is not funded by any governmental bodies. Mr. Santosha S. Nayak enrolled into MBA program, vide Enrollment No.[protected] w.e.f. October 03, 2008 by paying an initial amount of Rs. 15, 000/-, and submitted 5 Post Dated [protected]@Rs. 6, 300/- each, to wards the balance program fee. While enrolling into the program, the student was supplied with Courseware, C.Ds, study material for Group – A of MBA program. He also availed all other services for more than three months from the university.



The Students enrolling into the program, submit a ‘Declaration’, that in case they withdraw from the program they will not be entitled to claim any refund of amount paid. Notwithstanding the said declaration, Mr. Santhosha S. Nayak made an appeal that he wants to withdraw from the program with refund, due to some personal reasons. Our counseling officers tried level best to convince the student to continue in the program by explaining refund policy, details of deductions.



However, student firmly sought withdrawal from the program, accordingly he has been withdrawn from the program w.e.f. January 02, 2009. Out of the actual amount of Rs.27, 600/- (Rs. 15, 000+Rs. 6, 300X2 + 12, 600/-)paid by the student an amount of Rs.22, 000/- is refunded after deducting only Rs.5, 600/- towards courseware and services availed by the student. The balance 3 PDCs have been duly cancelled. The said payment was made through Demand Draft vide DD.No. 771706 dated January 06, 2009. the above complete information is also communicated to the student.



It is not clear, why the student is still referring the case to you.

I am Yesu Prasanna Kumar and i have done my MBA in INC vijayawada during 2006-08 and my enrollment number is 6nd03890.Recently i wanted to shift my job and attended an interview in college in ongole.I was selected in the interview and at the time of verification of certificates i was rejected that this is not an recognized university.Apart from my proving that it is a ugc recognized university they rejected me saying it as a fake university.Aren't my certificates valid?If so then my time and money and everything is waste because of this university.I paid 1.60lacs at my time as fees.And what did i get?a fake certificate?what is my future?Who is responsibility for this?At the time of admission we are said that this university has every recognition and no need to worry about anything.But now what is y position?what should i do?With whom should i fight?with the one who rejected me or with the one which gave me fake certificates?Can't this be stopped?Cant we stop these unversities from doing this unfair to students, playing with student's future?Who is to be punished?Why no one is not taking any action inspite of having complaints against it?
