[Resolved] ICICI Bank — ATMDEC CHG | |||
Hi All , I am having my salary accout in ICICI bank . But few days back 84 Rs/-(28.09 Rs * 3) were deducted from my salary account and when i looked into my mini statement it was described under "ATM DEC CHG". And when I tried to explore it over Internet, I found these charges are applied for when ATM of other bank declined to withdraw the money, if it doesn't have enough. So is it ethical to charge customer for this reason.Although i was having enough balance at that time. Moreever , it is also legal as per RBI rule. Guys, i think this charge is related to online funds transfer. Check out there must be online funds transfer on mentioned date. ICICI bank says it will charge for NEFT transfer but not mentioned that it transfers to other ICICI bank accounts as NEFT transfer.

I have also been charged Rs.28/- for 3 times on 15/11/2012 as ATMDEC CHGS. Can you please let me know why these charges are deducted from my account and also i didn't received any message to my registered mobile regarding these charges? I am not aware what type of charges are these. I have not been informed regarding these charges either by Email or by Letter.
There should be some formal process for doing all these things. I want my money to be credited in my a/c which is deducted twice from my a/c.

I have my current account in icicibank and my account had debited many times with amount rs. 28.09 as MOBILE ALERT CHARGES for nov 2011, dec2011 and for many months.
First icicibank debited the account with remark " txn charges, ATM charges, MOBILE ALERT charges etc. ", when client make many complains then they reverse the charges . This is smart trick of icici bank for earning revenue.
I think there is no control of RBI on banks like SEBI has control over all investment companies.

I have also been charged the same amount 5 times in a day. could any of ICICI Bank's members please explain why this amount deducted from my account and why I am not getting any msg on my registered mobile that this amount has been deducted as well as let me know where I can raise such issue in Icici bank site.
