[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — Complain against illegal deduction of Health insurance policy premium and interest charges.

I have bought a Health Insurance policy from ICICI Lombard (Policy No: 4034/FPS/02200268/00/000) FOR Rs 3, 00000 ON 21st MAY 07 to 20 MAY 2009.
Total Premium Assured to me was Rs.11331.00 for duration of 24 Months I submitted 17 EMI OF 24 Emi.
Bank assured me that Rs 472.12 would be deducted every month up till 24 months from my credit card (card no: [protected] ), Interest free .

But Bank went against there assurance & get Twice Emi deducted every month, for single policy.

Rs 497.81 EMI PRINCIPAL on 18th of every month.
Rs 69.90 EMI INTREST
RS 8.64 SERVICE TAX

Rs 505.02 EMI PRINCIPAL on 20th of every month.
Rs 70.92 EMI INTREST
RS 8.77 SERVICE TAX

Note: Since 21 May 2007 up to 21 Nov 2008 I am paying without any default.

I personally went to Icici Lombard office in Borivili (west) branch and submitted the related Complaint and supportive credit card statement to the Executive, He confirmed me that I am holding single Health policy of Rs 300000.
I called up Icici banks customer care executives & send many mails regarding this. But I did not get any satisfactory answers from them. Regarding my problem of wrong deduction.
Company should take it seriously; it is the matter of, A Company's wrong assurance.
I feel like cheated with company and get the feeling that after having policy received they even did not care about the customer, they completely forget & try to ignore him. On the other hand they publicly shout & try to convey the message in market that they care the customer better than anyone.
When I call there customer executive they talked with me in a very rude & improper manner & said that I must have taken 2 policies on the same day and same time with same name, and Bank could not return my money as per their Company's policy.
I want Company to take prompt action in this matter and assured me that they will return me my complete money without any kind of deduction.

Please do the needful and reveres above mention amount extra paid by me in my account.

I had a credit card vide no. Is [protected] company had deducted an amount of rupees aprox-7500=00.When I enquired about this amount from the call center they told me that I have canceled my insurance policy after 90 days so that this amount had deducted.
But here I want to tell you that I clearly denied for any insurance policy. Some executives try to convince me and at last they told me that if you are not interested please take an insurance policy for your child.
Then I told yes. But your insurance division had denied because my Childs age is below to 5-years. I dont received over statements for that I made a request to the customer care and received three months statements then I see the premium amount are regularly charged then I again made a complain against these charges they had given a cancellation no.[protected] and assure me that blocked and deducted amount will reveres with in 7 days in my account. Amount is reversed but after deduction of 75% (aprox-7500=00)
Please check your confirmation calls tape I never confirm for policy always denied. For child I confirmed company had denied due to the policy norms. I do not understand why this policy had issue. Please do the needful and reveres above mention amount in my account.

I agree totally towards the complaint made by Sarfraz Ishrat. As I too faced the same situation. A Call centre executive called me as soon as I received my ICICI preferred Credit Card and informed that, she would give an absolutely free Health Insurance Card, for which no amount will be charged. I informed that I being working with HSBC Bank Ltd already hold a health Inusrance card. She persist to take the card as it is absolutely free. I was shocked when I went to check the balance on my credit card online an amount of Rs 1300/- was been deducted. Initially I paid the amout thinking it is normal deduction. However since then every month 1300/- was been deducted. I filed a complained against them asking them to close the account to my shock they said that you need to pay 6,083/- balance amount to close your account.
This is a CLEAR CASE OF CHEATING ON THE CUSTOMER.

I had a credit card vide no. Is [protected] company had charged an amount of rupees aprox-4932=00 and converted into the EMI's.When I enquired about this amount from the call center they told me that there is a policy in my name and they told me that the policy number is 4034/FPS/02310921/00/000 .
But here I want to tell you that I clearly denied for any insurance policy. Some executives try to convince me and at last i denied for the policy. I dont received any policy documents till now. According to the call centre people the policy was started from June 2007. Last month i was looking at my credit card statement and i found that the premium amount are regularly charged then I again made a complain against these charges they had send me a mail saying the policy is under process of cancellation on 25th March 2008 and assure me that blocked and deducted amount will reveres in my account. Amount is reversed but after deduction of 60% (aprox-4932/-) and send me some fake document saying that i had sign the documents. But i never ever sign any policy documents and moreover the signature are not matching with my signature. It's all fraud.
Please check your confirmation calls tape I never confirm for policy always denied. I do not understand why this policy had issue. Please do the needful and reveres above mention amount in my account.

I have bought a CRITICAL CARE- SECURE MIND POLICY from ICICI Lombard (Policy No: 4065/CCSM/01659771/00/000) FOR Rs 1200000 ON 8th August 2008 to 7th August 2011.
Total Premium Assured to me was Rs.16, 600 for duration of 24 Months I submitted 3 EMI OF 12 Emi.
Bank assured me that Rs 1475 would be deducted every month up till 12 months from my credit card (card no: [protected] ), Interest free . After three months again I received a call from ICI Lombard Health Insurance “Sir ICI Lombard launched a very good policy and you take it .At the time I told him I have a ICI lombard Policy the customer care told me no problem we cancelled your old policy and give you a new policy you have no charged any cancellation our cancellation department will call you and you said yes I want to cancellation. I agree with this. I have never called icic cancellation department. After few days I received a new policy # 4034/FPP/04141169/00/000 . I received a call from ICI Lombard Insurance cancellation department automatic are you want to cancellation you policy I said yes I have two policy I want to cancellation our old policy without any cancellation charges.

But when I received my credit card statement I saw I am not received my full amount. At the same time I called ICI Lombard customer care executive she said your policy is cancellation and cancellation charges charged against you. I called up Icici banks customer care executives & send many mails regarding this they did not care about the customer.

Some executives try to convince me and opened lombard policy, then i had cancelled the policy talking with customer care. he said that my policy has cancelled.now after one year they have wathdraw mony from my account. im very frastated about this deduction. this is totaly illegal to keep customer blind, tell lie and deduct mony from account after some year.At the same time i have not used credit card for any reason. and i have not received any information about credit card dues. Please do the needful and reveres above mention amount in my account.

Health Policy — not recieved any documents and confirmation

Hi ,
I took a Health policy on the name of my Mother Sulochana Thoodi. Its been for a month and i didnt get any mail or intimation regarding it. I had paid Rs. 2707/- through my cheque.

please concern and kindly intimate about the status of the bond.
Sir, My self is Mr DALBIR SINGH my saving account no[protected] being operating by ICICI Bank. I have been observed that rs 827/- has been deucted for QAB Charges for Juk 09. Last yr the same thing happen. I am not aware why these private bank are doing cheting with customers. Pl let me know, I am always have money into my account. If such thing happened then I think it will be better for me to close the account.
