[Resolved] ICICI Home Loan Division — Non-presentation of ECS to my Bank and fraudulently charged penalties and threatening a customer | |
Myself Dr Pawan Kumar Gupta. This is in reference to my Home Loan with ICICI Bank. I am forced to write this mail after I have been forced to put though a great amount of mental stress, threats, abuses and harassment by the ICICI Bank Customer care officers.The details have been provided to ICICI Bank as instructed by ICICI bank executives themselves.The attachments have provided to the bank to support proof that the bank purposely did not present the Electronic clearing to my SBI account No.[protected] on three occasions i.e December 2006; January 2007 and October 2007, (as per my SBI records) and then they resort to money extracting and illegal profit making strategies from the customers by levying the check bounce charges stating that ECS was returned due to insufficient funds. I have always assured the bank officers that I would pay any amount due on me but atleast being a regular customer with good credit background, its my right to know the correct facts about the the whole issue. They always refused that they can't provide me the returning memo given to ICICI bank by the SBI bank ( Branch Sector 62 noida, Uttar Pradesh).They have never responded to my mails which were addressed to them only when asked by the respective bank officials as mentioned in my previous mails.I have always asked them that why should the customer pay the penalty charges in pretext of 'CHECK BOUNCE CHARGES' when the check was never represented to my account and hence IT WAS NEVER BOUNCED as evident from my SBI records. Moreover there was no chance of the check / ECS getting bounced when my account had sufficient funds as evident by the account statement enclosed along with all my mails written to ICICI bank. I had visited the ICICI bank branch at Green Park, but i was told that they could not address my issue from that baranch and there is no way but to go their Videocon Tower office in central Delhi .I asked them why a customer need to travel 50 kms for no fault of his and its just the irresponsible and callous money exttracting attitude of the bank.NOW THEY ARE THREATENING ME OF DIRE CONSEQUENCES IF THE AMOUNT AS IMPOSED BY THEM IS NOT PAID TO THE BANK AT THE EARLIEST.WHAT SHALL I DO !!!
