[Resolved]  Idea Postpaid Connection — Conversion of Prepaid Number to Postpaid not done!!

I got a call from Idea customer care regarding an offer to convert my prepaid number to postpaid number early this month. There was a representative of "Shaiv BPO services" ie, Mr Devender - Phone number [protected]", who came to visit me on 10th January. We handed over a cash of 500 Rs to him and he delivered us a SIM card.

I submitted my Driving License as an identity proof. He assured us that the SIM card would be activated within 3 days after the verification. I got a call from IDEA customer care once again mentioning that again a representative would visit me on 12th evening and I had to show him my original identity proof. However nobody turned up.The representative visited me on 17th January 2009 and I showed him the copy of my Driving license and Pan card as well.





Now, since 4Pm on 20th January) my SIM is not being detected by the cell. The message been displayed on my cell is "SIM card Registration Failed". After callling Mr Devender, the representative who visited me, I was advised to inserth the new sim card and switch off my cell for half an hour. The problem persisted after that also and is still there. When my husband talked to him at night he told us that we need to call at the other number given in the reciept ie, - [protected], but wen i called at this number today morning at around 10:30 - 11AM nobody took the call.

Devender has given me the number of Mr. Abrar - [protected], who is continously disconnecting the call, as he doesn't have the answer. FRustated by the services, I exchanged my SIM from "Horizon Communication", an Idea care center situated at West Patel Nagar for Rs.75 on "21ST JANUARY 2009" AT AROUND 8 PM. He told me that I was delivered the SIM of wrong series and assured that my SIM would be activated within 1 hour. Its 22ND JANUARY - 1:40 PM now and my SIM is not activated.


The Idea customer care has not still responded to my mails dated - 21st January - 11:20 AM.

IDEA CELLULAR HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER GONE THROUGH. BEING A PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATED WITH A GROUP COMPANY OF TIMES OF INDIA, I HAVE BEEN MISSING VERY IMPORTANT CALLS OF MINE FOR THE PAST 3 DAYS.

Idea Postpaid Connection — HELL ON EARTH -- IDEA CONNECTION

It reaaly changed my life -- lost customers, friends and then job
iam using corporte IDEA connection ( iam still unable to understand why my copany had selected idea as corporate conection - may be many Ex IDEA employees hev joined this company )
For last 1.5 yrs iam facing seious IDEA NETWROK PROBLEM --Call Drops, No clarity, The other person cant hear, wrong numbers, other conversation in the between " ---- all sorts of problems a MOBILE connection can have --IDEA has it.

The solution I got is to clsoe my connection or pay monthly rent for one year as they are raising tower in DEc08.

i got a call on my no. from the idea customer care in regard to convert my prepaid no.([protected]) to postpaid on 3-1-09 and on the same day an executive had arrived to my office and collect rs.500 with two photos, xerox of my prepaid sim from me on the same day and give me a reciept.of Shaiv Bpo Services but after two days i received a another call from them that i have to submit my id proof and they were asked me to mail my id proof to them so i also mail them my id proof on the same day and i also confirm from them that they got my id proof or not.They acknwoledge me that they got the id proof and my no. will we activate by the evening and they also disconnect my prepaid no.
But until now they had not activate my no., i call them many times but they not showing any responsibility in doing there job. now, i want my money back and the no. remain to be prepaid. i think this bpo is provide the worse service to there customer. i don, t expect the service of such type from idea.

I am getting calls from the Idea representatives to convert my Prepaid connection into postpaid with the number remaining the same .
I had agreed to convert it on 5/03/09 and the very next day the executive came to my residence to collect Rs 500 and identity proof and other documents.He gave me a reciept of Midas marketing Solutions .but after two days my prepaid sim has been deactivated and the sim provided to me by the marketing executive was not activated due to which i missed very important calls . i call them many times but they are no picking up the call not showing any responsibility in doing there job. now, i want my money back and the no. remain to be prepaid. i think this is the worst service any organization can provide to their customers. IDEA corporate office should take a notice at these people who are defaming the organization with such kind o after sales service.
I agree to that..I stay in Pune and when i visited Kolkata for a week my sim stopped working. I tried calling Customer Service but they were not responding to me properly. At times they simply disconnect in the middle of the conversation...IDEA NEED AN "IDEA" TO IMPROVING CUSTOMER SERVICE TO BE IN BUSINESS. I SHIFTED TO AIRTEL AFTER THAT...THOUGH THE STORY IS ALMOST THE SAME BUT WHAT OPTIONS I HAVE...

Urgent:--- I feel extremely dejected in writting this mail.

1. Pradeep tellecaller called me and offer me to convert the idea prepaid i.e [protected] (its my wife mobile no.) to post paid. and told me that your call rate will be 30p per min and you will get 600 mins idea to other free @ 299 monthly rental plan. I gave him 500 Rupees also for this scheme.

2. They promised that the Sim will be activated within 24 hrs. I called many times to too many numbers (Which are Mentioned Below ) Now its been more than 19 days (11th June 2009 sim delivered date) . Still my phone is not activated.

Idea Postpaid Connection — Delay in service and charging more money

Such a bad coustomer dealing they have..they call you several time once you said that you want to purchase...but no call after the sale...i purcahsed a Post paid connection of Idea # [protected]..but connection not get started yet.

12 feb 2010 ko mobile no [protected] ki postpaid se prepaid karne ki application de thi.lakin aaj tak prepaid nahi hua.idea office jand per Mr Ankit & Mr virendra [protected] & offi no[protected] ke logo se baat karne per in logo ne kaha ki pehle chai pani ke rupee lao. Phir Prepaid hoga.

We handed over a cash of 500 Rs to him and he delivered us a SIM card.

I submitted my Driving License as an identity proof. He assured us that the SIM card would be activated within 3 days after the verification. I got a call from IDEA customer care once again mentioning that again a representative would visit me on 19th evening and I had to show him my original identity proof. However nobody turned up.The representative visited me on 19th Fab 2010 and I showed him the copy of my Driving license and Pan card as well.





Now, since 4Pm on 19th Fab ) my SIM is not being detected by the cell. The message been displayed on my cell is "SIM card Registration Failed". After callling Mr Yesh & Arjan ([protected]), the representative who visited me, I was advised to inserth the new sim card and switch off my cell for half an hour. The problem persisted after that also and is still there. When my husband talked to him at night he told us that we need to call at the other number given in the reciept ie, but wen i called at this number today morning at around 10:30 - 11AM nobody took the call.

Myself Harpal Singh had logged the complaint to transfered my Airtel prepaid no. i.e [protected] to Idea Postpaid no. through portability scheme.From the last 7 days but i havnt get any response from your side... My no. is yet not activated Kindly activate it as soon as possible.

I M YOUR REGULAR CUSTOMER WORKING STATE BANK OF INDIA HAVING NO-[protected] IN THE MANNER OF PRE PAID SERVICE IN MAHARASHTRA, BUT NOW MY PROBLEM IS, DUE TO TRANSFER FROM NAGPUR (MAHARASHTRA) TO NEW DELHI.I WANT TO CONTINUE THE SAME NO WITH ROAMING HENCE CONVERT MY NO.ON POSTPAID SERVICE.
