[Resolved]  IFB Washing Machine — Service persons not attending

My IFB washing machine is under AMC and I am in chennai.In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine,The manager at Chennai is not even attending the calls.I am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal.

Not knowing the lackadaisical attitude of the IFB Service at Chennai, and the organization as a whole to their customers, I have was a sucker to have purchased a IFB washing machine and on top of it I entered into AMC. To get at them over telephone is indeed an ordeal as neither you can get through nor no is there to give any responsible response. Their promises that their service personnel would be looking into the problem at once all seem to be written on cold water. Normally all products are more or less equal in performance, the response for service should be outstanding to make the product best in the market. Here it is the worst. The response is poorest of poor. I curse the day our family decided in favour of IFB. Never again I will make the mistake and I vow I will go out of my way to prevent, at any cost, any of my relatives or friends opting for IFM machines. It is a promise.

IFB Digital 6 Kg Washing M / C — OUtlet is choked and pathetic service

I booked the first complaint on 18th Nov 2008 regarding getting some error while Spinning.
No body turned up inspite of every day call to call center. Finally person came on 24th Nov and asked what is the problem even though call center had full details about the complant from us. He checked and said part needs to be replaced and will come in 2 days.

Now the service Engineer didn't turned up and I had to request IFB manager(I'll not take his name) to send someone, he changed some part don't know what.
But still problem remains the same, and I'l till today struggling to get my m/c to work.
In between 2 service enginerr came, Spent max 5 mins, said that we need to use de-scaling agent to get this m/c working and I purchased that and used 3 packets and nothing happended.

I'l sure Service engineer are not getting to the root of the problem and just spending time.

IFB OFFICIALS PLEASE LOOK INTO THE MATTER.

I was the admirer of IFB products and always recommend to everybody, I also have 2 IFB products, but based on the kind of service I'm getting NOW, Its a falling time for IFB credibility now, because this was not the state 1 yr back.

Also there is a big diconnect b/w IFB call center and service Engineers.

I have IFB 6 KG digital washing M/c, I/m so frustrated and surprised to see the kind service provided by IFB service center.

I have AMC for this m/c.
I booked the first complaint on 18th Nov regarding outlet blocked, and nobody turned up till 24th Nov, The day service Engineer came he said part needs to be Changed and he dissappeared for indefinite time, Then I called up IFB manager I'll not mention the name, Due to him he turned up and changed the part. But till today I'm facing the same problem and 2 times service Engineer have (after so many calls) come, spend total 5 mins and says the m/c requires de-scaling, I then purchased their expensive de-scaling agent and still struggling to get the m/c's outlet to be corrected.

I was blind admirer of IFB and always recommend their products inspite of expensive compared to other company's products, but now I HAVE LOST THE FAITH.

CAN SOMEBODY FROM IFB LISTEN TO MY COMPLAINT AND SOLVE MY PROBLEM.
I also see that their is a huge disconnect between the call center who takes complaint and the service center.
MY WASHING MACHINE MODEL IS ELENA.

IFB Front Loading Fully Automatic Washing Machine — Delay in Service and poor parts usage

I had lodged a compaint for my washing machine for which I have taken an 2 years AMC in July on 7th December, 2008 but as per their promise of attending to complaint in 48 hours, no one turned up next almost 75 hours. Only after calling their office someone was kind enough to come and have a look and was benovolent enough to inform us that the bearing has gone bad (incidently the bearing was changed in the month of November'08). Even today after another 24 hours no-one has attended the call and the Agency taking care of AMC reassured me that they guarantee to get it changed in another 24 hours (how kind of them!!!). My complaint no. is 2513011 dated 07/11/2008 11.45 a.m. Incidently I had complaint for the same machine vide complaint no. 2379191 on 03/11/2008 15.08 hours and the complaint was attended to in 10 days in which they had changed the Drum & Bearings, in this I had lost 2 days earlier as the phone no. given to us was busy all the time on 1st & 2nd Nov.

Please guide me how to either get the machine repaired immediately or to get my AMC amount refunded without too much hassle.

I agree with you guys .I am in the same boat .IFB is not worth being in the indian market .I believe they are importing these machines from china or from a junk yard over that the executives are illiterate .They dont know what to do .I am facing the same problem .My machine is not working and i called them atleast 1000 times in a weeks time .after a week one of the mechanic comes to my house says the motor is not working, we will get the motor tomm and replace it next day they didint turned uo .I called them again after shouting on them one mechanic came with the motor and checked the machine.After checking the machine he says that the motor is ok but the harness wiring is damaged i asked them to change it then they said not today it will be done tomm .Then i called there delhi head Amit Anand he also said the same thing i told them i was waiting for you guys and i took an off from my office just for this.He said cant help it we have to go for other complaints also .Guys i have a 6 mnths old daughter whoes clothes needs to be cleaned everyday and we have heired a 18yr girl for my baby, she cleaned all the clothes .It is really sad that this kind of companies should be kicked out of the indian market who doesnt care about us or they should be pulled in the consumer court but alone its difficult .If we all can be together and fight for our rights then we may get justice .if everyone agree with me do call me so that we can take this issue ahead .I dont want to keep this machine and atleast i want my money back for this piece of junk.

IFB Digital — Service person says I cannot solve

I have registered the complaint almost 40days back. We were out of town for 20 days. Since last 20 days the service person BHARAT-[protected] came twice in instalments of 7days. he says I am not able to diagnose the problem, you may approach higher office to solve this. The machine does not complete the full cycle. It keeps washing for 1:27hours instead of going inro Rinse & Spin mode to end the cycle.
All mechanical areas are clear. Does the company have any technically qualified personnel or all layman like us who can try & err.!!!

I am in Chennai and have purchased IFB fully automatic machine 3 years back and the machine is under AMC. The service is really pathetic and they NEVER stick on to the commited date to fix the problem. When we contact the Service Engineer he will point out to his Manager, and when we contact the Manager he will not commit on the date at all.

My complaint No. is 2519306 dt. 09-Dec-2008. Service Engineer visited couple of days back and said some component is gone. He is saying the spare has arrived and his manager has to approve him to replace. When we check up with the manager, he says the spare is not available and will be available only during next week (How sure it is?). Whom to believe? We are helpless after investing our money in this product.

Day by day it is becoming a big worry because of the VERY poor Service of IFB in Chennai. Looking the right contact person to escalate this to next level.

IFB- Senorita DX washing machine — Door not closing

I have lodged complaint and ticket number is 2531135. No one has attended to the complaint and now i am not able to get the customer service phone numbers also to find out the status. I have bought the machine only 3 months back.

I have renewed my AMC after initial warranty expired on 29 Aug 08. I have paid the amount for AMC 4659.00 for another two years. For money received they gave an receipt. But till date i didn't get my AMC papers. After repeated calls too they don't bother to deliver my papers. very poor customer approach by the company. The technicians too are not trained suitably. Please stay off from any IFB product.

I am under AMC. For two years I had no problem with the machine but I kept renewing my AMC. Your services have become horrible. The tube in my mach broke and I have not been able to
wash. On 15th, Dec, Monday I caleed the service centre -[25776208] and requested her to send a tube, but she said that she would only attend if I register the complaint at [protected]. There was no response there, only a recorded message to give our name and tel no with std code and the customer care would get back. There was no person attending the call. I got back to her and reported the same. She called me back that there was a server problem and she would help me out. Till today, Friday morning, 19th there is no call or person coming to help. My clothes are lying unwashed for 5 days now. I will be taking this matter with the consumer court as I have records of all thes calls and conversations. From a customer who used to praise IFB to all friends and many of them buying these products, I am thouroughly unhappy and if I dont get any response by today afternoon, I will have to proceed against you. Last 3 days both the service centre and complaint numbers are not responding at all. Either they keep ringing or they are engaged. SHAME ON YOU!!!

i had complaint of my ifb washing machine on dt.[protected].my complaint was attended by a exceutive n he opend the machine n remove the parts of machine n then cal on my mobile that one part is require change n tommorpw is bakrid holiday n he is also a muslim guy so ur machine will in order on[protected] i said ok.butnobody will come since yet.i went to service centre for three times self n there is madam named nidhi said ur complaint will exceute today 100 %.but the matter is same no one came to atttend the complaint.now ui think taht there is no value of AMC taking costumer in ifb . n i think ur service is wosrt in india than other companies.if my complaint is not attend today i will go to consumer court n i m not responsible for any missing part of machine which is removed by ur engineer from my machine.my ticket no is 2535830.

IFB / Elite 5 Kg — POOR PRODUCT QUALITY/ SERVICE

I bought IFB Washing machine Elite 5 kg in Nov 2006. During warranty period, the water pump was replaced. The logic that controls the washing sequence was irregular but IFB could not rectify it.

Now, the door in this front loading machine has come off. More than the product quality, it is the lack of promptness in service which has changed me from a committed IFB supporter to a very annoyed critic. IFB takes three -four days to respond in a place like Noida and hides behind alibi like houe was locked, etc. for not attending promptly. Very unprofessional, but that is the way with most manufacturers of white goods here.
i think ifb customer care is the worest service in the world.. i have given the complaint through mail 1 month back and then givencomplaints repetedl but no responce realy ...
I am cosumer of a washing machine, I have a complent log to customer care regarding problem of time. At that time Mr. jAYWANT was visited. But the problem was not properly remove. and i call to mr jaywant to againg regarding the same problem. he repled that on Monday (17 Dec'08) part will be availble, but yet he is not respond about this problem. plz could you do for me.

As we are the customer of your product. We faced a problem on our machine on 25/11/08. Problem is unwanted noice problem from the machine.It is undedr warranty so we locked the call in customer care the case Id is 2521893.More then four service Engg. attened the problem but problem was not sloved. This problem is been also taken to the Manager Mr.Rajesh on 12/12/08 from his side also no response(Imatrix company Manager). We are unsatisfied for your service. This problem is not sloved with in a week we are going for consumer.
