Indian Oil Corporation, Chennai — Inordinate delay in supply of LPG refill cylinder

Dear sir,
My name J A John xavier, My consumer no.20231 for LPG. Under Blue Flame Agency, Chennai 600 021(Telephone No.[protected]). For the past 6 months and more I have been harassed by this Gas Agency for getting my refill of LPG cylinder.
They inform us that for booking of refill cylinder 1.) I should wait for more than 25 days from the date of the receipt of the previous cylinder 2.) They supply the cylinder only after 15 days from the date of booking of the cylinder for refill. So ultimate I got to wait for nearly 40 days to get a refill cylinder, the purpose of possessing double cylinders is being defeated, I request you to kindly arrange to settle my grievance at the earliest. Otherwise I may be permitted to book another gas cylinder in the name of my wife which I suppose will give me some solace. Thanking you in anticipation of positive action

Lord balaji gas agency, EGMORE, CHENNAI LPG distriduter is not at all bothered about rules and regulations of the Civil socity or any basic ethics in their distributership business.I also strongly condemn the IOC authorities with out their support and protection Lord balaji gas agency, EGMORE, CHENNAI LPG distriduter could not have such attidude, not suppling even after exhaust of two cylinders. With two cylinder connection No.16316 left in to lurch for thepast four days with out cylinder.I also lodged complaint with IOCComplaint No.65922 today. Only Lord balaji can sve us not Lord balaji gas agency, EGMORE, CHENNAI LPG distriduter or IOC.

LPG Cylinder — DO NOT GIVE REFILLS EVEN HAVING IN STOCK

Hi, I am a LPG consumer having connection no. 3840559, my service provider agency is M/s Shringeri Enterprises, Sco No-21, Sec-7, Huda Shopping & Com. Complex, Old Railway Road Gurgaon 122001. First of all the they use to give refill in more than 35 days, still when we go to their godown, they refuse to give the refill (having stock which I seen personally in their godown) and say rudely, come tomorrow. If we ask the owners contact no, they say I am the owner. There is no shortage and any one can take refill in Rs. 800/- in black from their personel.
Can somebody tell what is the direct no of the regional sales manager of Indane for Gurgaon.

In Pondicherry, M/s Tillai Gas Company, J.N.Street, Pondicherry-1 say that Govt. of India's instruction of scrapping 21 days time limit for the supply is only for booking in advance. They can not supply the refill whenever the Customer books. The Customer should wait for 21 days for getting their refill.
Is this true? or the Company is cheating the Customers?

My name K Ramanathan, My consumer no.43920 for LPG. Under Vir Gas Agency, Chennai
600 033 (Telephone No.[protected]). For the past 4 months and more all the consumers with this agency is not getting their their refill of LPG cylinder in time . It take atleast 18 to 20 days to get their refill

where other agencies are suppling less than 10 days. when ever I approch I use to get only one answer that they are not getting their supply


I have booked my cylinder on 8th of september, 2010 wide their waiting list no 1653, when I approach the agency today I have been told to wait another 8 days.



I request the concern officers to look into this and advise the agency to delever the refill cylinder within 10 days of the booking

I do agree. There is wanton delay from the suppliers.
I agree with Mr. Ramanatha's Complaint . I too have booked on 3.09.2010 and still awaiting delivery with the same agency

Dear Sir,
I am having HP Gas connection with no.739974 in Nellore(andhra pradesh) now I transferred to Irumbuliyur(Tambaram, chennai) here the HP is not supplying and only avaibalbe is Indane Gas but these people are not accepting to transfer my HP gas. It is very difficult to face this situation. If IOC accepts this then only they will transfers the HP into Indane Gas.So please give your acceptance.

We were very happy with the services of M/s Jayalaksmi Gas Agency.They closed down .We were not informed about this.We had lot of difficulty in locating our new agency.It was Rose agency(Addambakkam).Our trouble starterd here.I am sorry to say that the conduct of the staff in this agency is unruly.They have made us visit the office every day.We booked on 08-10-10 and still we are told that we will recieve the gas the next day.The delivery staff have demanded high premium for delivery of cylinder . On 22-10-10 we wre informed that the delay was due to drivers' strike.This type of hardshipis experienced by most of the customers.with Rose Agency.

My efforts numbering over 40 today to telephonically contact TUCS, Tambram for booking a cylinder ()No.7074) were in vain, as I was informd all the times that the line is busy.
We are from Avadi Township ward-1 Mittanamalli area. Our place is away from avadi by 8 KMs and we are getting the LPG cylinders from MJV Indane Gas Agency, Ambattur Ind.Estate nearly 18Km away from our place.

booking the cylinders is very very difficult by phone as all their phones are in engaged condition.

If anyone gets the phone connection, really he /she is lucky.
No prompt delivery too because of distance, and no good response .. IOC authority could take action by change the agency to nearby????

I booked for the refilling of cylinder on 11th December wide booking No 2126. Normally other Agencies use to supply the
refilled cylinders within 10 days from the date of booking. Only this particular agency is taking lot of days to deliver,

When I approched them, they are saying it will take atleast 20 days to get the supply.

This happends every time .

Even last month also I made the same complaint wide my complaint no 40091 dated 20th Sep 2010

Everytime the same delay is taking place.

I request you to look into , and advice the Dealer to delever atleast within 12 days from the
date of booking

We understand that the Agency is colluding with the officials of the oil company for arrogant misbehavior with

There is a delay in delivery of cylinders in Medavakkam area also by the agent REVATHY GAS AGENCY. In my case I booked 40 days back and last 13th billing was done. After repeated calls and personal visits, I was assured delivery on 31st December. But till now no action was taken.
I visited again today morning at 9.30 AM; they checked and informed the godown team to deliver today and assured me the same thing. Till now at 6.20 PM delivery is not made.
THE PHONE NUMBERS ARE CONTINOUSLY ENGAGED SO THAT WE ARE NOT ABLE TO CONTACT THEM. ONLY PERSONAL VISIT HAS TO BE MADE
THIS MAKES EVERYBODY IRRITATED AND GETTING ANGERED.

For the past 4 months and more I have been harassed by this Gas Agency for getting my refill of LPG cylinder. They inform us that for booking of refill cylinder 1) I should wait for more than 21 days from the date of the receipt of the previous cylinder 2.) They supply the cylinder only after 20 days from the date of booking of the cylinder for refill. So ultimate I got to wait for nearly 41 days to get a refill cylinder, the purpose of possessing double cylinders is being defeated, I request you to kindly arrange to settle my problem at the earliest. Otherwise I may be permitted to book another gas cylinder in the name of my wife.
