Indian Oil Corporation, Chennai — Inordinate delay in supply of LPG refill cylinder

Dear sir,
My name J A John xavier, My consumer no.20231 for LPG. Under Blue Flame Agency, Chennai 600 021(Telephone No.[protected]). For the past 6 months and more I have been harassed by this Gas Agency for getting my refill of LPG cylinder.
They inform us that for booking of refill cylinder 1.) I should wait for more than 25 days from the date of the receipt of the previous cylinder 2.) They supply the cylinder only after 15 days from the date of booking of the cylinder for refill. So ultimate I got to wait for nearly 40 days to get a refill cylinder, the purpose of possessing double cylinders is being defeated, I request you to kindly arrange to settle my grievance at the earliest. Otherwise I may be permitted to book another gas cylinder in the name of my wife which I suppose will give me some solace. Thanking you in anticipation of positive action

Respected Sir,

I have gas connection vide consumer no. 51266 , in the name of Theresiyamma devasia , the same was booked on jan 13 2011. the booking counder issued booking number vide no. 1809. I waited for 20 days ,sofar no delivery done. I communicate this information to the concent gas agent in the name of GASLINK, AMIJIKARE. They ignore my booking and saying they never issue the booking number. Sir, my mother is old age 80 years old she is patient also. I need gas delivery. please issue a order of issue the filled cylender.

I have Indane LPG connection in New delhi, with Sai Sewa interprises. I have booked my LPG on 22nd feb 2011 using TOMO gas service. I have not been delivered my cylinder till 8th of march 2011. when I went to sai sewa interprises on 1st 3rd and 7th march, each time they are saying it will take 2 or 3 days to deliver the cylinder. When I contacted the delivery man, Rakesh at [protected], he asked Rs 200 bribe to deliver the gas on time. I think sai sewa person are also involved in the scam.

inspite of multiple time booking, I am unable to get the LPG cylinder. delivery man wants bribe per delivery. Is it ok? I have not given bribe so he refused to deliver the cylinder. his number is [protected].

Everytime, when contacted, owner of the agency say that please contact the delivery man. I cannot do anything.

I have submitted the same complaint on 1.7.2011, verification code:2u55n and 77btr, why authorities are sleeping, there is no action on my complaint, I am suffuring badly for transfer of my gas connection. Kindly do needful immediately.
I have been transferred from RLI, Chennai to CLI, Mumbai, Government of India Organization under Ministry of Labour and Employment on my promotion. I have shifted my residence from No.11/19, 3rd street, Sriram Nagar, Tharamani, Chennai-600 113 to Flat. No. 102, B Wing, Plot No. 62, Puspasagar Apartment, Sector -20, Kamothe, Navi Mumbai-410209.
I have submitted the original Subscription Voucher No.2899503 dated 23.3.2006, Consumer No.39851 to the Manager, Mr. Ramdas (LPG distributor of Indian Oil Corporation, Chennai) M/s. Trilok Gas Service, Old No. 16, New. No.20, Govindarajpuram, II Street, Adayar, Chennai-600 020 on 19.5.2011 for getting transfer voucher. The Manager, Mr. Ramdas informed that they are under strike, on completion of strike 1st week of June the transfer voucher will be send by Courier to My Mumbai address. I booked cylinder on 9th of July 2011 through online booking service.But till date I have not received cylinder. I again contacted online booking service but they replied that they have already supplied a cylinder to me. But I have not yet received cylinder. In online booking service there was no customer care and complaint service, then I contacted Guru Gas Agency but they are not attending our calls. What will I do? As you know the problem of having no cylinder in the house, so please send cylinder immediately without any delay. I hope my complaint have value.

To book Indane refill gas and waiting for it, or continuous tracking behind it, is really very much tiring. The most essential consumer product, keeping us always in a tensed situation is persisting for many a years. The automatic refill booking phone number provided by IOCL has the facility only to book and not for complaints. The Saba gas agency at velachery is providing a service worst to the core.There way of either not attending the phone, keeping the phone engaged or
not responding properly leads to a kind of mental strss.. It is therefore requested that IOCL should look into this and regulate things properly.My booking was made on 29th october. I receved the sms that i have been delivered cylinderon 26th november against my booking, but till now i am waiting and tracking behid my refill gas. my consumer number is 4221 under saba gas agency - velachery.

Dear Sir,
Very very disappointed with the inordinate supply of Indane Gas Cyliners. I am holding 2 Indane gas cylinders and my consumer no. is 35924 with Balaji Gas Services, MTH Road, Ambattur, Chennai-53. Since last two years after shifting my base to TN I have been facing in getting even one cylinder in a month. We have no other fuel system except the 2 Indane cylinders but for last so many months both the cylinders are empty and we take cylinder from our neighbour and on delivery of our cylinder we give back to them. The gas agency take 30/40 days every month. In Oct. 2011 my cylinder was delivered on 5/6th Oct. and in November on 16th Nov. and in December on enquiry I was told that we could get the cylinder only by 22nd Dec. 2011 whereas our cylinder gets exhausted by 14/15th every month. This has put to immense difficulty. This time the agency also told us that there was a circular from the concerned authorities that consumers can get only 4 cylinders in a year. This is very surprising as no such notification has been issued by Govt. of India, it seems. Since both my cylinders are empty every month I had requested several times if I could surrender one empty cylinder and get refund to which there is no positive response from the agency. In fact there was a press edit in which ED of Indian Oil clarified that there should not be more than 21 days for getting a cylinder and if so, complaints can be lodged with the authority concerned. Could Indian Oil look into the matter and ensure that the consumers do not suffer hereafter for the undue delay on the part of the agency.
Dear Sir,

I have been allotted two LPG cylinders. My consumer No. 18856. Because of this we are not eligible for any kerosene also from the Ration Shop. We are supplied with only one cylinder once in 30 daysor more. For example we booked our gas on 28th Feb2012, We have even been given CASH MEMO no.15964 thru, SMSon Sat. the 24th of March, 2012 and still we have not received our supply, Kindly do the needful to alliviate our problems.

I Ajit kumar singh Gas Connection no-11909 complaint against M/S Commander Gas service Rajajipuram Lucknow (U.P.) that I have booked my gas on 11 April 2012 but till date i have not recieve my cylender when i asked to send the Gas. they reply we will send tomorrow (i have call her dated 27-04-12 regarding this matter). but I did not received any response. Most of the time they keep it engazged, and if it is ringing nobody answers.

Dear Sir,

While welcoming the Interactive Voice Response system by IOC, being a consumer, we feel some inconvenience in getting cylinders as per the days specified by the company. Because people working for agencies like SRIDHAR GAS SERVICE, Chennai-16, as delivery boys are taking upper hand in making delivery of cylinders at their own choice by exploiting the system. In my case it is a bitter experience in getting the cylinders after 40 days or so even after having 2 empty cylinders at my home. These boys are earning premium based on demand or making demand in supply of cylinders even while they get 1 or 2 loads per 2 days on average. For reference my last but previous booking done on 08.05.12 under IVR No.305654, cash memo 983 generated on 15.05.12 and delivery happened on 23.05.12 by giving pressure at their spot.

Similarly booking done on 28.06.12 under IVR No.320026, cash memo 7989 generated on 29.06.12. As on this day no delivery of cylinder happened to me but I have got SMS from IVR saying that "cylinder has been delivered" on 03.07.12. On enquiry in the agency one Mr.Johnny who is handling cash said that, "who ever comes on the show we will speak" This fellow is boasting as a rowdy backed by boys. I am being a long term customer since 1989 feeling a discomfort in getting delivery. These boys has to be combed out to enable the public to get their cylinders with proper MRP in time. I am taking this conscious attempt to IOC take suitable action against the culprits working in this agency, spoiling agency's name.

I am placing my request to take suitable action in this regard. If I am not getting remedy from IOC, I may have to move the matter to redressal forum for making rectifications in such supplies to the public.

Hope my above request is in order and anticipate suitable action.

My consumer number is 8563. I get my connection from Adyar Gas Agency. I had 2 connections in my fater's name and my name. They forced me to cancell one connection. We are managing with just 1 connection. on I booked a refill on 9.5.2012.Cash memo was generated on Saturday 16.9.2012. I got my SMS of delivery of cylnder on Tuesday 18.9.2012 but as of today 20.9.2012, I am yet to recieve the cylinder. When I visited the agency they tell me that the SMS is system generated and there is no supply.
1. How can cash memo be generated with out stocks?
2. How can the SMS of delivery get generated with out the agency physically confirming delivery?
Is this possible ? I strongly feel that the agencies are playing with stocks because of the demand despite the fact that Indane has automated the delivery process. Please help me.

I O L gas booking no [protected] is not working for booking gas from 2nd of May 2015.Even today it is tried from Land line no as well as from mobile nos Pl let public know how to book gas other wise. .
