[Resolved] Indian Postal Department — Delay in Transfer of NSC | |
I had submitted application for transfer of NSC to P.O Kendriya Vihar, WB 700052 for transfer of multiple NSC from P.O Bidhan Nagar, Durgapur - 713212 datd 12th October, 2006. As per SLA, the turaround Time is 15 working days. Now when I had submitted application for redemption of NSC on maturity the Post office refuses to accept the application on the grounds that the NSC were not transferred. The Post office also refused to show records of transfer from the post offoce from where the certificates were to be transferred. Now I am stranded with Rs 50, 887 matured amount not being handed over to me. Al that I get is a reply ' What can we do if the certificates are not transferred from the Bidhan Nagar P.O". I am frustrated with the non-cooperation from the postal department which is plagues with inefficiency and red tapism Was this information helpful? | |

i am not getting any proper reply from the kodanbakkam post office.I HAVE MORE THEN 90, 000/-RUPEES OF NSC .

I am the holder of three National Saving Certificates issued by the post office Dombivli, District-Thane, and Maharashtra. The maturity of the certificates has complted on12.12.2008.
Since, I have been transferred from Mumbai to Jabalpur, I requested to transfer my NSC for encashment at Jabalpur Post office. I have applied for tranfer vide letter dated 10.11.08, 12.02.09 and further reminder at 04.05.09 but no reply has been received by me till date. Almost 06 months have past since I have applied for the transfer but in vain.
Kindly, arrange to transfer the following NSC to Post office, at Marhatal Jabalpur-482002-

I have applied for NSC certificate transfer from Mumbai Borivli H.O to Chandigarh sector 47 post office on 21/04/2009. NSC certificate number is 49EE 324439 (Rs 10000) which has been matured on 30/04/2009.Still it is not transfered from Borivli post office. Now a days it is taking too much time for transfer. Same thing I have experienced about 02 months back also with same post office branch. Kindly look into the matter & do the needful.
i also applied for transfer of national savings certificate for Rs/ 40000 issue price from churchgate post office mumbai 400020 maturing on 22nd january 2009 through rajinder nagar post office new delhi 110060 in january 2009 and again sent a reminder on 22nd january 2010 but there is no response from churchgate post office mumbai 400020 even after 1year 3 months have already passed.rajinder nagar new delhi 110060 post office is unable to help as the nsc have to be verified by churchgate post office mumbai 400020. i had similar
situation from kandivali west mumbai post office a year back.
