[Resolved] Indian Postal Department — Non Receipt of Speed Post article

My son from US has sent an article by speed post on 15th September, 2008, which has reached Chennai on 20th September, 2008 itself. But to my shock, the same has not reached me so far, as the Deptt. has taken already 24 days. They have not even bothered to contact me at my phone no. which was given in the article itself. The cover contains some legal documents, which are required very urgently and in this connection I contacted the Postal Deptt. at St. Thomas Mount, Chennai severy occasions, and lodged the complaint, but all in vain. In future I would never go for Speed Post and advise my family members and friends also not to go for Speed Post. Was this information helpful? No (0) Yes (0)

This is regarding my speed post no. ET[protected]IN & Postman No. 20 Dated:05.01.09. I have been informed that my speed post has come & to collect with identity card, but because of some reason of office timing I can not go to post office in the time they have specified. So I sent a person with my identity card & authority letter to collect my speed post at Tilak Nagar Dombivali(E) post office . But Mrs. Zende of post office employee treated a person bearing authority letter very badly & asked to call speed post bearer to collect the letter. Now my question is why didn't she give post to authority letter bearer?. Person working can not go to post office in their office timing because his timing is too same, so the post must be given to authority letter bearer. I request post authority to hand over my post letter to authority letter bearer & take severe action against Mrs. Zende of post office employee as employee like her maligned the image of Indian Post. And this is the reason everybody is opting for private courior services.

i m staying at vasai ( west ) dist.thane.
i have applied for transfer of above refund amount to vasai post office on 21.03.2009.
after inquire saveral time, till today i m not getting my refund at vasai post office.
on 11.05.2009 i inquired at santacruz office, they rely that they have verified & posted to s.p.office AZAD NAGAR - ANDHERI.
ON 12.05.2009 i inqire at AZAD NAGAR POST OFFICE ANDHERI, they reply that they also verified & posted it to miraroad s.p.office on 04.05.2009
since 2 months i m not getting my refund.
it is my humble request to do the needfull & reply me what to do ?
