Dear Sir, This is to inform you that I am a frequent traveler of SE and SECR section. Last a few months I observe unclean SL berths of Shalimar- LTT (No.8030) and HWH ADI Express (No.2834). The windows, upper and lower berths are under thick layer of dust. Floors are comparatively clean. On 6th February’09 when traveling on Shalimar – LTT Express (S4, 18) I contact Mr P K Nath-TTE / Attendant and Mr B R Rao, TTE in this regard. They inform this to the on board sweepers but they ignore to clean my berth because as per them they are entitled only for floor cleaning. At last Mr P K Nath kindly arrange a clean berth for me. On 29th January’09 I reached Bilaspur station in time and hear announcement regarding arrival of Samarsata Express (2151) in platform no- 02. Passengers crossed the line by foot over bridge and observe the same train approaching platform no.- 01. Passengers whimsically crossed the line to catch the train. This may cause accident on that day due to wrong announcement. On that day When traveling on Samarsata Express (2151, S7, 48) take dinner pack from IRCTC men. He charged Rs.45/- for vegetable meal consists of vegetables, rice and Chapati. That Rice was half boiled and Chapati folded in plain paper was cold, uneven in shape and hard as leather. Salt not supplied. Indian Railway is our national pride. Honorable Railway Minister invited by foreign universities for lecture on management. But we the travelers expect a little bit comfort during journey by train. Indian Railway wave site do not entertain complain of travellers. We request your goodself to kindly look after the cleaning of berths, quality of food supplied by IRCTC and careful announcement for arrival or departure of train. Thanking you, Yours faithfully Jayanta Chaudhuri Mob:[protected] Email: [protected]@yahoo.co.in Was this information helpful? | |

On 16th March 2009 Yesterday I travelled from Pune to Kayan in 1022UP Indrayani Ex. seat number 12, coach number D3, PNR No. [protected]. During the entire journey no TTE checked the tickets of any passanger in the bogie. As usual the bogie was infested by illegal passangers, passangers without properly reserved ticket, illegal entrants, illegal vendors etc. I can substantiate my statement with adequate proof/evidence.
