Tight Packed journy
Respected sir,
I am a b-tec student(kerala).my home is 200 km away from my college.i used to travel train(intercity from cannur to ernakulam and Executive from ernakulam to cannur) in every week end.Evry time the train will be very tight and most of the time we cannot put our foot on compartment.some time we hang on the footboard.it is not fun.i am speaking very seriously.this is not the case for me alone.Hundreds of students are travelling with me.250 peoples are travelling instead of 128 in one compartment, Then there is no magic in railway profit.when i travelling i can see that many of other train is running with empty compartment.Every one want to complaint, but no one try for that.
Our train time is in peak time ie:most of the school staff and students are used the same train.
Therefor you please kindley inform railway minister to avoid that problem very immedietly.either by providing an additional train or by increasing compartment.

yours sincierly
Bhubaneswar Rly Stn has only 4 Nos of plateforms. Always packed with trains. Too much rush. Most of the Trains coming here are stoped at outer signal for about 20 minutes or more as plateform not found empty.
This city is Capital of Orissa State and expanding day by day.

It will be better, if the trains starting from and comming back to Bhubaneswar should be stopped at next nearby sub-urban station "Bani Bihar" /Mancheswar / "Lingraj Temple Rd", so that about 50% of passengers can get down and get up in the trains. about 15-20 minutes and 3-6 KMs journey expanses of lakhs of passengers can be saved and Bhubaneswar Station can be free from uncontrolled rush.
Railways asked to pay Rs. 6200/- for ‘Negligence & Bad Treatment.’

In view of the two recent incidents, the apathy & negligence of Rail administration towards the Consumers was already seen,

a)Nagpur-Pune Train detained at Bhusaval (@2hrs.) due to Cockroaches/unclean AC Compartment.b)Nagpur-Dadar Sewagram Express detained at Nagpur (@3hrs.) due to incorrect reservation charts. In continuation to this, IF following matter is brought to the notice of CONSUMERS then they can seek legal justice like Shri Avinash V. Prabhune. Such Increased Consumer awareness will compel Service providers to improve quality of Service. (Consumers Hardships will be Reduced)

Addl. Divl. Rail Manager(ADRM), South Western & Central Railway Nagpur has been accused of ‘Negligence & bad treatment to Consumers’ by Hon District Consumer Forum & ordered Railways to pay Rs 6200/- to Shri Avinash V Prabhune, Nagpur within 30 days.

Brief Story of the Shri Avinash V. Prabhune.

Nagpurian, Shri Avinash Prabhune alongwith his wife Asmita, boarded the 2649 Sampark Kranti Express at Bangalore(Yashvantpur) on 02/09/2007 at 2145 hrs in AC 3 tier Comparment for the journey upto Nagpur. As the train was commencing from Bangalore(Yashvantpur), it was the duty of Rail administration to provide proper lenin (bedding kits) to all passengers, moreover toilet door was not getting locked. Inspite of Complaints by the passengers, the Rail administration failed to take any corrective action & ultimately supplied wet, old & used Bedding kits to Passengers. Shri Avinash Prabhune protested & lodged the written complaint with Dy.C.T.I. during the journey. Sh Prabhune requested Rail Authorities to take stern action in the matter for avoiding the hardship to Consumers. Further requested to pay token compensation of Rs.100/- per passenger as Compensation for the negligence in providing services. But non courteous Rail administration has not shown courtesy of replying so Sh Avinash Prabhune was left with no choice than to file Complaint at Hon Dist Consumer Forum, Nagpur.

Commercial Manager, Central Railway, Nagpur submitted the reply of behalf of Railways & informed that quality bedrolls were supplied hence there was no deficiency in services. But in the mean time Sh Prabhune received letter from Dy. Chief Commercial Manager, South Western Railway, Hubli confirming the deficiency in services & had also informed that the concerned contractor had been fined with Rs.2000/-. But the said letter was silent about token compensation of Rs100/- as claimed by Sh Prabhune. So the reply filed by Commercial Manager, Central Railway, Nagpur turned out to be false. Hon Forum upheld the complaint in favour of Shri Avinash Prabhune & ordered Railways to pay Rs.6200/- within 30 days.

Hon Forum has ordered ADRM, Railways to :-

a) To pay Rs.100/- Per head (Total Rs.200/-) to Complainant for ‘Bad Treatment & Negligence’ by Respondents.

b) to pay Rs.5000/- as compensation for Mental & physical Agony.

c) to pay Rs. 1000/- as the Costs for complaint.

Hon President Mr. Nalin Majithia, Hon Member Shri Milind Kedar, Hon Member Mrs Nalini Harode passed the orders. Complainant Shri Avinash Prabhune represented the matter in person while Adv. Nitin Lambat appeared for Indian Railways.

Yours truly,

Pune Railway station all platforms are stinking due to night soil rotting on tracks. No proper cleaning . Big rats can be seen on tracks around the garbage between track.
Put big fine to those who donot follow cleanliness and make rly area dirty.
In the morning stop all trains for 15 minutes before reaching station so that people can relieve themselves in Jungle area and not on station.
make electronic locking so that all tiolets are locked when train standing on station.
Cleanliness is GODLINESS
