[Resolved] Indian Railways — Transactions made once but charged twice by Indian Railways | |
Hello, I am having problems with Indian Railways. I had made two transactions to book two railway tickets but Indian Railways has charged the amount twice each. Which means I had made a transaction of INR 1123.87 + INR 477.44 = INR 1601.31 and Railways has charged INR 1601.31 x 2 = INR 3202.62 on my credit card. I am yet to get INR 1601.31 as refund. Indian Railway has not refunded any amount. I am following up with them many times but they do not respond to my mails properly. If they do, they repeatedly ask for the same information and delay without any solution/refund. Now, my credit card company has charged interest charges + service tax + late payment fee. The recurring total due to the non-refunded amount by Indian Railway is increasing. The main catch is that, the Indian Railways have removed all the transaction records from my IRCTC Online Account to tamper with the proofs I have. However, I have the screenshots of those transaction which can be presented. I have suffered monetary loss. Also, few months back, I had received a letter from Indian Railways stating that they have resolved the issue, which is not true. And/or who is the contact person of Indian Railway who can handle this issue. Can I get the email id/or any other information to contact?
