[Resolved]  Indian Railways — Refund

Dear sir/Madam,
I. Randhir kumar booked a train ticket for 2 people on 16/12/2011 (PNR no:[protected] and Transaction id: [protected]) to journey from Haridwar to Patna on 25/01/2012. But, we could not travel because after chart preparation one ticket in RAC and another one is W/L -.1 So, both of passenger was not travelled Hence I lodged a TDR dated 25/01/2012 with the reference no ekt [protected] to the Indian Railways. The current TDR Status shows "forwarded to railway". The total no of days elapsed from filing date to today has been more than three months.
I would be highly obliged if you please look into the matter and take necessary steps so that I may receive my due amount as soon as possible.

Good luck with your refund. When I was in India, I lost mi tickets and I went thru hell in order to get a refund. Number one I needed all kinds of number codes listed on the ticket, the cart I was to traveling in, the train number, my destination and etc. etc. You only get your refund at the end of your journey, thats what happened in my case. I also had to scam the Bureau of Tourism because they were refusing to help me out on the original scam that cause me to lose my tickets in the first place, which was to direct me by a man in uniform to an outside tourist office so I could lose my, first class tickets and be sold probably to somebody on a waiting list. Once I showed my tickets to that person, he found out how many I ahd, what type, and which train. He contacted hi contact inside the train station, indicating "NO SHOWS" and voila, I was out in the cold - see you.

I have traveled on dated 18.06.2008 by train no 2654 from Chandigarh to New Delhi . my ticket was reserved from Chandigarh to Kota originally which was canceled by me at New Delhi railway station through TDR NO 814258 dated 18.06.2008 at 14: 30 hrs. because of route diversion of train due to Gurjar Riots. I have send an application for refund of difference Fare along with TDR through Registered POST on 09.07.2008.Even after 90 days when I did not get refund . I reapplied again through registered post on dated 07.10.2008 but still today i could not get the Refunds till date 21.11.2008.
Kindly try to help me to get Refund as soon as possible

I am really thankful to the authority who has replied to my complaint on the sub Non receipt of complaint book / clarification about increased fare and non providing of edible for a particular time in New Delhi- Guwahati rajdhani express 2456 .

So far I failed to receive any repy from the responsible persons managing the IRCTC and still as per information gathered from my colleagues the tren of cutting the items even lunch/ brekfast / non washing o[censored]sed cups / even not changing of the papers used in the serving trays have been continuing in the New Delhi-Guwahati rajdhani and GHY to New Delhi rajdhani and no remedial actions are being taken . No check on the serving staff.

Now it seems Hon'ble Railway Minister and other responsible authorities who are issuing the instructions are being either thrown by the next authorities or no body want to touch grass-root since passing the bills of cartering of rajdhani is being done very carefully in a planned manners.
Hwever I shall be grateful if some surprise check in done when the Rajdhani Express touching from New Jalpaiguri to Guwahait and from Kanpur to New Delhi to see the truthfullness of the services.
I shall be thankful if the reply is given to me.

My PNR No. is [protected]. Train was late more than 18 hours on journey date so passenger not travelled. I file TDR on 29.12.2010 and railway refunded Rs. 593/- on 04.01.2011.

Because train late more than 3 hours so a full amount of Rs. 1189/- should be refunded by railway instead of Rs. 593/-

I write several times to [protected]@irctc.co.in and [protected]@irctc.co.in but nothing changed yet.
My name is Lenoy Paul ([protected]) and I need your help in raising a concern with IRCTC I had booked a ticket to travel on 27Aug 10 through IRCTC website from Mumbai to Nagpur Train 2101/JNANESWARI DELX Transaction ID: [protected] PNR No : [protected] total fare Total Fare : Rs 1931.00 however this train was delayed by 7.5 hrs had my travel plans were cancelled.I raised a TDR on 28th Aug and i was give a refund of Rs 965 as per railway rules if your train is delayed for more than 3 hrs a passanger is entittled for complete refund .I have been following up with them however they have not given me a suitable respones request you to please help me with this.

this is the first time am using it...

I have booked 3 birth from Lucknow to Ahmedabad in 3 AC wide PNR No-[protected] out of which only 2 birth was confirm & 1 was in wait list, Keeping in view that waitlisted ticket booked through IRCTC was automatically cancelled I have purchased 1 waitlist ticket from Railway counter on which my third passenger was traveled.
When I file the TDR for reimbursement of IRCTC ticket my request is rejected by IRCTC. I just request that I have pay ticket price twice for same journey so that one ticket should be cancelled & that price should reimburse to me.

I want to say that when TTE is suppose to give TDR certificate to passenger in such cases then why he is not given to me even I show him both the ticket for same passenger.
Kindly took the matter since passenger (consumer) is suffering in above case.
