[Resolved]  Indian Railways — TDR filed but i got only 50% of fare refunded

Address:Mumbai City, Maharashtra

Dear Madam / Sir,

I had booked a 2nd-AC Ticket in train 12142 from SATNA to KALYAN for journy date 3rd of January 2013. Because of fog problems the train was late more then three hours.
I had filed the TDR on 03.01.2013 to cancle my ticket (PNR: [protected], Transaction-ID:[protected]) because the train was more then three houres late. When I have filed TDR online the train had not left the starting source station.
As per rule I should get full fare without any deduction but I got only 50% (Rs.805,-) of fare into my account. In attached file there is already a proof that the train was really 12h18m late when it reached my starting journy station (SATNA). I have also written many emails to [protected]@irctc.co.in [protected]@irctc.co.in and customer care but getting no response from IRCTC.
I request IRCTC to check this transaction again and refund the full fare into my account.

Thanks and best regards!

Indian Rail — 50% less refund of TDR

Dear sir,
This is hereby to inform you that we have filed a TDR on 18th july, 2009; on account that the train which I was suppose to board(3005/amritsar mail) was running late by more than 12 hours due to some bandh called by political partiesin West Bengal. In such circumstances, when I tried to cancel my e-ticket on 17/07/2009, I coudnt do so because the chart had been prepared. Thereafter I came back to Varanasi by othr means and filed the TDR on 18/07/2009. The date of journey printed was of 17/07/2009. As per the present status of the filed TDR the refunded amount is only 50% of the total ticketing amount i.e., ticketing amount was Rs. 1, 785/= and refund was a sum of Rs 892/= only. In acordance with the INDIAN RAILWAY RULES for TDR under the mentioned reason "TRAIN LATE BY MORE THAN 3 HRS" I was expecting 100% amount to be refunded in my account. I have also sent 4 mails protesting this less refund to [protected]@irctc.co.in on 25th July, 3rd August, 11th August, 27th August respectively, but not even a single reply has been given.

This is our humble request to kindly accept our requisition on or above basis and do the needful.
